Chris Brown, 36, had a wild night out at a London nightclub with his entourage last month, enjoying bottles of alcohol costing up to £5,000 each, it has been claimed

Chris Brown reportedly racked up a huge alcohol bill during a night out in London with his entourage last month.

The rapper, who made a surprise appearance at a court hearing on October 24 ahead of his trial for an alleged nightclub attack, enjoyed a night out at the Selene club in the capital on October 10, it is believed. Days later, the nightclub posted the bill on social media, amounting to a massive £160,240.50.

The bill shared online included nine bottles of Dom Perignon, costing £750 each, as well as nine bottles of Belvedere, priced at £500 each. It also showed that the group of 15 had purchased a £5,000 Hennessy Paradis, five £2,900 Louis Roederer Cristal Magnums and three Clase Azul Reposados, costing £1,200 each.

In addition to the alcoholic beverages, two cases of Red Bull and three pizzas were also ordered, according to the bill. While the club didn’t say who had racked up the huge bill, some of those who partied with Chris, including models and other rappers, said he paid for it.

A source told The Sun: “Chris lives life in the fast lane and thinks nothing of splashing out on the best there is.” During his latest court hearing on October 28, a judge established that the singer could return to the United States as he awaits trial for an alleged bottle attack at a London nightclub in 2023.

Judge Tony Baumgartner granted the change to the American musician’s bail conditions at Southwark Crown Court in London. Heidi Stonecliffe KC, prosecuting, said the bail conditions remain “very stringent” and “numerous”. The £5 million security fee that Brown was previously ordered to pay to the court remains in place, which is a financial guarantee to ensure a defendant returns to court and may be forfeited if they breach bail conditions.

Brown has pleaded not guilty to assault occasioning actual bodily harm to Abraham Diaw at the Tape venue, a private members’ club in Hanover Square, Mayfair, on February 19 2023. He has also denied having an offensive weapon – a bottle – in a public place, as well as attempting to cause grievous bodily harm.

His co-defendant, US national Omololu Akinlolu, 39, has also denied assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Brown’s previous bail conditions allowed him to continue with his scheduled international tour.

He had to live at a specific address known to the court and was not allowed to visit the nightclub, or contact Mr Diaw or apply for international travel documents. Granting both defendants permission to return to the US, Judge Baumgartner said: “You will have to come back to the United Kingdom when you are required to do so.”

He reminded them that failure to attend court dates when required could jeopardise the securities. There were more than a dozen people in the public gallery and the defendants spoke only to confirm their identities and that they understood the new conditions.
