Geordie Shore icon Charlotte Crosby has revealed a brand new parenting rule she has been forced to adopt, while also apologising to her fans in the process.

The 35 year old reality star, who is a doting mum to daughters Alba and Pixi, took to Instagram stories with a candid post on Wednesday evening, as she explained the reason for the new addition to her day to day life, despite it often making her feel as though she were being “rude.”

Charlotte made it clear in the post that she would no longer be engaging with her fans while out and about with her daughters in public so that they could keep their privacy and ensure their safety.

I’m so appreciative of everyone who helps me and stops by to say hello, Charlotte wrote in the post. It really means a lot, they say. I did, however, spend some time reflecting on certain situations during this holiday, such as when I’m out alone with the kids.

Their safety and well-being will always come first as parents, they say. I can’t take them out of their way to take pictures when I’m with them. ”

Earlier this month, Charlotte and her fiancé Jake Ankers took their family away to Spain for a well earned holiday, yet even while soaking up the sun, the couple were approached by eager fans who wanted to snap a photo – something which Charlotte was forced to turn down.

There have been times when we’ve been traveling alone with just us three, she explained, and people have asked for photos as well. Saying no always makes me feel so incredibly rude. I hope that you will understand that it’s impossible for me to concentrate solely on the girls if I’m by myself with them at all.

When I’m on my own, I’ll always try to stop, take photos, and say hello if we cross paths. ”

Although choosing her young family may not come as a surprise, Charlotte and Jake have previously been forced to set boundaries when it comes to keeping their private lives safe from eager fans.

A super fan even attempted to knock on the front door of Charlotte’s former home earlier this year in the hopes of getting a selfie with the star.

The couple moved from the home last year, after a masked burglary took place while Charlotte was heavily pregnant and home alone; however it appears the superfine hadn’t received the memo.

As he criticized the intrusive behavior online, Jake shared a message from a Birmingham fan who was on holiday in the North East on Instagram.

The superfan apologized if you see a strange man appear on the camera because she had been hoping to get a photo of their girlfriend when she said: “I did ring the buzzer to try and make it happen for her but didn’t get any answers. “

“One of the reasons we moved,” replied Jake. ! ! “

“We need people coming round to our house wanting photos with Charlotte, given that the break in and other events last year, but it’s not okay to just show up at someone’s house with two babies inside!” ! !
