Celebrating the success of Celebrity Bear Hunt were actors like Mel B, Lottie Moss, Danny Cipriani, Big Zuu, Shirley Ballas, Steph McGovern, Una Healy, and more.

Bear Grylls, a famous Bear Hunt actor, claimed it was “disgusting” to work with him on the show.

Inbetweeners star Joe Thomas has reminisced about his time on Netflix’s Celebrity Bear Hunt. The now-cancelled show, presented by Holly Willoughby and Bear, saw 12 celebrities tackle various challenges and solve puzzles in Costa Rica.

However, one thing that stood out for comedian Joe was the stench of adventurer Bear. In a savage dig, Joe labelled the 51 year old as the ‘smelliest thing’ he has ever encountered.

Joe described him as “very smelly” in an interview. He used the thing he’d have around his neck in a scene where he blindfolded me, which actually sounds quite kinky and was the f****** stinkiest thing I’ve ever seen… I mean, it’s disgusting.

“I genuinely believe that because he’s trying to hide himself, the animals will smell you because you don’t have to wash him.” Therefore, I sincerely believe he might not have washed. That smelled the most offensive to me ever. It appeared to have gone beyond like old sweat. A whole new spectrum of smells were introduced, so that was a moment.

The high-budget television show was cancelled after just one series in June. Insiders close to the show, which aired in February, said that while the ratings were good, it was costly to produce and Netflix are now planning to focus more on live events rather than pre-recorded shows.

Everyone was extremely proud of the show, but it was simply too expensive to produce, according to an insider. You required a large crew, a large set, and a large cast of celebrities in Costa Rica. The costs were outrageous.

Although it’s thought that more reasonably priced locations for filming were being considered, none of them sounded like suitable. According to insiders, Spice Girl Mel B and tennis ace Boris Becker made up the stellar cast for Celebrity Bear Hunt, which wouldn’t have been difficult to come by.

Additional stars taking part featured Lottie Moss, Danny Cipriani, Big Zuu, Kola Bokinni, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Leomie Anderson, Shirley Ballas, Steph McGovern and Una Healy.

Following her agonizing ordeal, former security guard Gavin Plumb, who was found guilty last summer of plotting to kidnap, assault, and kill her, ex-security guard Holly Wiilloughby, 44, consented to the program.

When Harry, Belle, and Chester, her three children, when Grylls rang her, revealed that she immediately agreed. Holly told the Mail at the time, “It felt like the right time for me.”

When Bear called and explained the show’s premise, I was like, “Okay, well, it sounds like a great show, it also sounds like a show that my kids would love, my kids would love Bear anyway, so it was a bit of a no-brainer.”

“For a long time, I think because my kids were younger, I’ve always been a bit ‘ooh’ I don’t like leaving the country for so long, even when I went out to Australia for I’m A Celeb, kids came with me. It just felt like a really exciting project.”

There are various shows, and “yes” is always a real gut instinct when you say “yes,” and I believe you just have to take that into account, and this was unquestionably a yes on the spot.
