Daniel Dyer is now facing a more difficult challenge than she did on Strictly Come Dancing because she was unable to make it onto the show.

Former Love Island winner Dani Dyer-Bowen is among the line-up of contestants for a new series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. Dani, 29, who was forced to withdraw from this year’s Strictly Come Dancing, will take part in the upcoming series of the Channel 4 reality show when it returns in January next year, in which contestants will undertake SAS training in north Africa.

Dani, who is married to England and West Ham United footballer Jarrod Bowen, said: “I’m a massive fan of the show. I’ve always watched it and wondered if I could do it. I want to put myself to the test. I’m nuts, but I think I will be good at it, I’ll be completely out of my comfort zone.

I just hope I can stop letting my brains dictate what I do and concentrate on the final scene because that would be so impressive. I believe I have this physically; however, as my brain viciously attacks me, I’ll struggle with it mentally. I just want to change my negative Nancy and start believing in myself a little more.

She will be joined by former Love Island contestant Gabby Allen, TV personality Jessika Power, social media stars Jack Joseph and Cole Anderson-James, Neighbours actors Ryan Moloney and Natalie Bassingthwaighte, and World Cup-winning former rugby player Ben Cohen.

Cohen once said, “I wanted to take part in both re-discovering my inner self and being tested mentally. We communicate with ourselves every day, so I wanted to put my mental and physical limits to something that would be physically and mentally difficult. I’ll take a good lesson from this.

Gladiator and Olympian Toby Olubi, Graeme Swann and Brad Hodge, Olympic swimmers Emily Seebohm and Mack Horton, and Home and Away actor and musician Axle Whitehead complete the lineup.

I wanted to take part in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, mostly to see how hard I could push myself, but also to show my kids that even the most difficult tasks can be accomplished by putting one foot in front of the other, Swann said.

In the eight-part series, which will pit Team Australia against Team UK, chief instructor Billy Billingham and his team of directing staff, Jason “Foxy” Fox, Rudy Reyes and Chris Oliver return to lead the celebrities in their training.

Their national pride is on the line, Billingham said, “This series isn’t just a brutal personal course; it’s a challenge unlike any other.” Who can rise from the ashes and disappear into the wild?

Throw the DS into the mix because North Africa has its own difficulties. For pain, glory, and tears. Who dares prevails, and now is the perfect time to give everything to win.

Celebrity SAS does not eliminate contestants, unlike other reality shows, and instead has contestants who can withdraw themselves either directly from the screen or are eliminated. Those who remain at the end are then declared the winners.

Fox continued, “This year isn’t just about winning the Ashes in Australia; it’s also about pitting British celebrities against Australians.” We, the DS, will mix our aggressive course-setting and brutal terrain with our brutal approach to see who will be reduced to rubble or rise above them. We are bringing this up on a new front by bringing it back to life on a centuries-old rivalry, not just a course! Who Dares to Win?

The launch date for the program will be announced soon on Channel 4 and On Demand in January.
