With ten years of marriage under their belt while juggling busy careers, Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright could be forgiven for losing sight of the need to keep their spark alive. But if their recent date night is anything to go by, the couple who are also parents to their daughter Palma, have nothing to worry about as they danced the night away in each others arms.

The pair were spotted watching Coldplay at Wembley and standing in the box section of the arena, the Fool Me Once actress is seen wrapping her arms around Mark’s neck as they sang along to the songs being belted out by frontman Chris Martin.

Michelle and Mark first started dating in 2012 and tied the knot three years later. They first met behind the scenes on The X Factor. Mark uploaded a few clips to his stories on Instagram. One clip was captioned by him saying: “Coldplay, let’s go!!”

Michelle has been relaxing since having a daughter in March and getting back into the hustle and bustle of being an actress.

However, she will be playing the lead role in a brand-new crime thriller, The Blame. Along with her on-screen lover Douglas Booth, she also plays the role of DI Emma Crane.

Michelle, 38, made a post-it selfie with a bottle of beer before heading to see Coldplay with the intention of letting her hair down for the evening.

Michelle can be seen smiling or staring at the camera while sat in a car with her flawless complexion on display. Since the birth of their daughter five months ago, Mark and Michelle appear to have embraced parenting happily.

In a recent interview with Mark’s radio co-host, he told the Mirror that he had given Mark parenting advice. Olly told us: “I’ve been saying, ‘Enjoy your trip to Majorca, because, trust me, when Palma is crawling or walking in a few months, that’s a whole other level.”

He continued, “I also cautioned him about the weaning stage. You believe your wife is choking, and you think she should. She just needs to learn how to use her mouth. What is the name of it? the reflex of a gag. I’m like”, Babe, I can’t. I’m moving to the other room.

The former X Factor contestant hopes their children will be friends. He continued, “Winnie and I have already discussed taking a trip together, which will be fun. We have such a good friendship, and I’m really hoping that Michelle and Amelia will get along. They’ll likely share many things, I’m sure.

Sophia Gardens, The Hundred women’s competition

Trent Rockets 145-6 (100 balls): Sciver-Brunt 38 (26), Davies 3-26

Welsh Fire 122-9 (100 balls): Dunkley 26 (23), King 3-17

By 23 runs, Trent Rockets won.

Welsh Fire’s 23-run victory over Trent Rockets kept their flimsy qualification hopes alive in the Sophia Gardens women’s competition.

If Manchester Originals defeat Birmingham Phoenix in the later game at 14:30 BST, Rockets can defend a close game score of 145-6.

As they struggled for partnerships throughout the innings, Fire, who were already out, couldn’t score 122-9.

They were perplexed by the world-class spinners Ash Gardner and Alana King, both of whom took five wickets each.

With 3-17, Leg-spinner King reclaimed plenty of turn and control from the Cardiff surface, while Gardner’s relentless accuracy saw her smash the key wickets of Hayley Matthews and Sophia Dunkley.

After Bryony Smith’s dynamic 38 from 27 balls at the top of the order provided them with a useful platform, Gardner and England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt added a pair of partnership numbers to their 67 for the match.

With 20 balls left, the Rockets were set for a formidable total of 120-2, but Fire regained some control as both set batters dropped in six balls, Sciver-Brunt scoring 38 and Gardner finishing with 36.

At the end of the third ball, Freya Davies took two wickets in two balls, but despite their strong fightback, the result was far too much for a batting line-up that had had a difficult campaign.

What’s going on Monday?

London Spirit will need to beat Oval Invincibles at 15:00 BST to increase their top-three hopes in the women’s competition, which is a crucial day for them as they aim to do so.

At 18:30 BST, Invincibles have already confirmed a spot in the knockouts, but Spirit must win to maintain their slim hopes.

Peter Andre mocks Katie Price’s son Harvey in resurfaced clip and tells Junior ‘not to kiss boys’

Peter Andre has come under fire in the wake of his feud with ex-wife Katie Price as a resurfaced clip shows him mocking her son Harvey Price and telling Junior not to ‘kiss boys’

Peter Andre has come under fire from fans after resurfaced footage of him showed him mocking a young Harvey Price. The singer is seen mimicking Matt Lucas’ controversial disabled character Andy while interacting with a young Harvey.

In footage from Katie and Peter’s reality TV show recorded sometime between 2005 and 2009, Peter is seen likening his stepson to Andy and getting him to repeat the character’s catchphrase, “I want that one.” As autistic Harvey – who also suffers from early brain development disorder septo-optic dysplasia and genetic disorder Prader-Willi syndrome – repeats the words back to him, Peter then bursts into laughing and saying to Harvey, “you look a bit Matt Lucasey, ayy.”

Katie then enters the room and defends Harvey saying, “No he doesn’t, he’s my Harvey,” as Peter repeats the sentiment in the clip. The video has resurfaced on TikTok where it has already amassed over 150k views after being posted on a Katie Price fan page.

It has also sparked 3.5k comments with fans slamming Peter as “vile” and a “narcissist” for his actions. One fan wrote, “Peter Andre. People need to wise up to who you really are, a vile narcissist.”

A second said, “I’ve gone down a rabbit hole and I loved Peter Andre but after seeing some of these videos I’m shocked and have seen him in a whole new light.” A third posted,”Noooo…..of ALL THE VIDEOS IVE SEEN. THIS MAKES ME THE SICKEST.” A fourth TikTok user shared, “@Peter Andre suppose this was a harmless joke right ? … @Katie Price is an amazing mother ! She authentic and real.”

A fifth commented, “And people acted like Peter was the angel and she was the devil.”

Other clips have also started to emerge online from the show leading to further criticism of Peter, including one where told his young son Junior it is not ok to kiss boys.

He says, “If you are a girl, that means you can’t kiss girls,” Junior then replies, “You have to kiss boys,” to which Peter answers, “Yes, and we don’t want you to do that.” The comments prompted many to slam him for being homophobic.

Other clips posted by fans also show Katie being verbally abused by Peter – with whom she shares children Junior, 21, and Princess, 18 – in a shocking display. One clip from the late 2000s shows him delivering a foul mouthed rant as he scathes at her, “You’re a f***ing idiot. I hope you learn a lesson and come down a peg or two because you are too up your own arse…. You’re a f***ing arrogant bitch.”

An aide then encourages him to stop to which he furiously continues, “No, I am not having her to talk to me like that in front of anybody, ever. Don’t f***ing ever talk to me like that. Understand. F***ing idiot. Stupid, arrogant little f***ing cow. Stuck up beaver. I’m going home. I’m not having it, I’m sorry. She’s f***ed it up again.”

Katie is heard asking, “What did I do wrong?,” to which he replies, “How dare you f***ing talk to me like that. Think you are going to get away with it? … I hope you learn a lesson and come down a peg or two.”

Ireland breeze past Japan in World Cup opener

Women’s World Cup – Pool C

Ireland (28) 42

Tries: Costigan, Jones, Parsons, Tuite, Higgins, Breen Cons: O’Brien 6

Japan (7) 14

Ireland opened their World Cup campaign with a six-try victory over Japan in an impressive display at Franklin’s Gardens.

Eight years on from their last appearance at a World Cup finals, this was an early statement of intent from Ireland with six different try scorers in Northampton.

Amee-Leigh Costigan, Neve Jones, Beibhinn Parsons and Fiona Tuite had the bonus point wrapped up before half-time with further second-half tries from Eve Higgins and Enya Breen.

All six were converted by Dannah O’Brien.

Japan scored a try in each half from Haruka Hirotsu and Masami Kawamura before Ireland lost prop Linda Djougang to the sin-bin late on.

Ireland make fast start

Having failed to qualify for the last World Cup, this Ireland team could not wait to get their tournament up and running and it didn’t take them long to make an early impression.

The forwards made a couple of early entries into Japan’s 22 but could not penetrate so it fell to the backs to conjure up something creative.

Some slick passing released Costigan out wide to score the opening try in the fifth minute.

When a penalty was kicked to the corner a few minutes later, Ireland’s intent was clear and Jones rumbled over for a second try following a line-out maul that took a while to get going.

Having started slowly in the warm-up games against Scotland and Canada, Ireland had talked all week about the pressing need to make a fast start in this game – two tries and a 14-0 lead after 10 minutes meant that box was certainly ticked.

Despite a line-out that was creaking, Ireland’s error count was low and they dictated the terms, with O’Brien’s kicking game forcing Japan to run out from deep and inevitably get turned over.

Ireland’s electric wing Parsons has the capacity to light up this tournament if she gets enough ball.

Costigan came across to her wing making the telling pass, and although there was more air on it than Parsons would have liked, she didn’t break her stride and pure speed took her over in the corner.

Another great conversion from O’Brien made it 21-0 and everything was going to plan for Ireland.

Japan pulled a try back just before the half hour mark.

Komachi Imakugi was denied out wide by superb tackle by Stacey Flood, but they recycled and Hirotsu bundled over for a deserved try. Otsuka added the extras.

The reaction to Tuite’s try summed up the togetherness and spirit that now exists within this Ireland squad.

Eve Higgins made all the running but knew she was about to be caught and wisely passed inside to the support runner Tuite who just had to power through the last few metres to secure a fourth Irish try and the bonus point after 36 minutes.

She raised an arm in celebration to the subs warming up behind that goal and they immediately ran over and surrounded her.

Higgins try swings momentum

Japan at times showed great patience and their second try, much like their first, came after they went through a number of phases up front before flanker Kawamura dotted down.

The seven-pointer kept the game interesting and given the one-sided nature of some of the pool games so far, battling Japan at least tried to keep the game in the balance for as long as they could.

They almost scored a third try but a slack pass almost on the Irish line was gobbled up by Higgins who ran almost the entire length of the field unchallenged for try number five for Ireland on 53 minutes.

It was cruel luck on Japan, who looked set to score a third try but instead it was the girls in green who opened up a 35-14 lead.

There were no real complaints from Ireland when a subsequent penalty try was disallowed for obstruction and with a quarter of the game to go, the Ireland coaching staff called for the replacements making five changes, three in the pack and two backs.

Russia accuses Ukraine of attacking nuclear plant, causing a fire

As Ukraine observes its 34th Independence Day, Russia has accused Ukraine of conducting a drone attack on a nuclear power plant that has caused a fire and a transformer’s auxiliary damage.

Russian officials reported that several power and energy facilities were targeted in the overnight strikes, forcing a 50% reduction in the operating capacity at reactor number three at the Kursk Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), close to the Ukrainian border.

No injuries were reported from the nuclear facility’s fire, according to the plant’s news service, which posted on Telegram. Another reactor, which isn’t producing power, is currently operating, and one is undergoing scheduled repairs, it said, adding that radiation levels are acceptable.

The acting governor of the Kursk region, Alexander Khinshtein, claimed that Ukrainian attacks on the plant, located 38 kilometers away from the Russian-Ukraine border, “are a threat to nuclear safety and a violation of all international conventions.”

On Sunday, the nuclear plant’s normal radiation levels were confirmed by the UN nuclear watchdog.

The International Atomic Energy Agency stated in a post on X that “monitoring confirms normal radiation levels near Kursk NPP.”

Russia and Ukraine have also accused one another of attacking the other’s southeast Ukrainian nuclear power plant, warning that it might lead to nuclear accidents. Russia is in charge of the largest nuclear plant in Europe.

Firefighters responded to a blaze at the port of Ust-Luga, which houses a significant fuel export terminal, in the western Leningrad region of Russia. About 10 Ukrainian drones were shot down, according to the regional governor, and the debris sparked the fire.

Overnight into Sunday, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that its air defenses had intercepted 95 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory.

According to Ukraine’s air force, Russia also fired 72 drones and decoys into Ukraine during the same time, along with a cruise missile. 48 of these, according to the report, were shot down or slammed.

Ukrainian Independence Day

The incidents occurred as Ukraine celebrated its independence.
Day to honor its declaration of independence from the Soviet Union in 1991. Volodymyr Zelenskyy, president of Kyiv, made remarks in a video address from the country’s Independence Square, highlighting its resolve.

Zelenskyy praised the “we are building a Ukraine that will have enough strength and power to live in peace and security” while urging a “just peace.”

In a nod to the US-Russia summit in Alaska this month, which many feared would put Ukrainian and European interests at risk, he said, “We alone decide what our future will be.”

“This is known to the world.” The rest of the world respects this. It values Ukraine. He claimed that it views Ukraine as an equal.

Sergey Lavrov, the head of Russian foreign affairs, criticizes Zelensky for “obstinately insisting, setting conditions, and demanding an immediate meeting at all costs” with Vladimir Putin.

Lavrov also accused Ukrainian authorities of “attempts to disrupt the process that Presidents Putin and Donald Trump of the US [of the US] laid down], which has resulted in very positive outcomes.”

After a flurry of diplomatic activities appeared to be stalled, he said, accusing Western nations of trying to “block” peace negotiations to end the Ukraine conflict.

According to Lavrov, “no meeting” between Zelenskyy and Putin was scheduled for Friday. In an effort to find a solution to the conflict, the Trump administration has been attempting to arrange a meeting between Zelenskyy and Putin.

Russia claimed on Saturday that its forces had taken two villages in the Donetsk region, but fighting continued on the front lines in eastern Ukraine.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and Zelenskyy met in Kyiv on Sunday morning for meetings.

“On this special day – Ukrainian Independence Day – it is especially important for us to feel the support of our friends, and Canada has always stood by our side,” Andriy Yermak, Zelenskyy’s chief of staff, said.
