Huge reality TV star lifts lid on joining OnlyFans – ‘It was a no-brainer’’

A reality TV favorite makes a comeback appearance on our screens as they reveal their plans to join the adult-only platform OnlyFans.

Frankie Sims opens up about her life as an Onlyfans creator in a new series offering a behind the scenes look into the lives of the UK’s most popular creators.

She appears in an episode of OFTV’s weekly streaming service In Real Life, which premieres on Friday December 5.

In it Frankie, 30 – sister to fellow reality stars Demi, 29, and Chloe, 44, opens up about life post-TOWIE, being a Netflix star and her new skin clinic in a high-octane episode where she jumps in a stunt car and takes part in a police-style chase.

The show, which has previously featured Kerry Katona, Megan Barton Hanson and Marnie Simpson, sees the UK’s most popular OnlyFans creators share eye-opening insights into their real lives.

Casey Boonstra leads the creators on an action-packed adventure before an interview that explores their lives hidden behind the scenes in each episode of the series, which airs until December 19 on OFTV.

Frankie’s episode, which can be viewed here, sees her and Casey go head-to-head in a high-speed showdown on a professional drift racing circuit.

Between the adrenaline and laughter, Frankie opens up about life after TOWIE, from filming her OFTV show House of Sims, which became a huge Netflix hit, to opening her new London-based skin clinic.

Frankie describes her move to OnlyFans as “a no-brainer for me” and claims, “It’s a great way to connect with my fans directly.” She continues, “Everyone has freedom; you can do whatever you want, whenever you want, and just be yourself.”

The continued success of In Real Life is a testament to the imagination and charisma of our OnlyFans creators, according to Keily Blair, CEO of OnlyFans. “Through OFTV, we’re giving creators opportunities to expand their fan base and bring fans of reality TV an incredible mix of compelling, award-winning content.”

Frankie left TOWIE three years ago for a new life in sun-kissed LA with sisters Chloe and Demi and brother Charlie, but now she’s back in Essex after filming their fly-on-the-wall show, House of Sims.

Frankie and Demi returned to the UK last year after falling out with Chloe, after Frankie branded her a ‘bully’ following a bitter row and Chloe slammed her sisters as ‘evil users’.

In response to the tragic conflict, Frankie said, “We’ve all built this family unit, we’ve all built this name “The Sims Sisters” together, and we all received this opportunity together as a whole, and the show wouldn’t work without any of us.”

Nobody seems to have used anyone because it requires all five of us to work. It’s definitely not accurate in my opinion, so I hope it was a heat of the moment.

‘Always in my mind to start’ – Slot on Salah

Mohamed Salah has been dropped from the previous two starting lineups, according to Liverpool manager Arne Slot, who claims he is “always in my mind”.

In the previous two games, Salah, 33, has only scored four goals and only played 45 minutes for Liverpool.

Salah, who signed a new two-year contract in April, is still wanted by the Saudi Pro League, according to sources who spoke to BBC Sport.

“Mo is an exceptional player for us,” Slot said on Friday, “I believe every player in my mind can start.”

He’s always ready to start or leave the bench, according to my mind.

In Slot’s first season as manager, last campaign, Salah scored 29 goals to win the title.

However, he was a substitute for Liverpool’s 1-1 home draw against Sunderland on Wednesday when the club resumed its winning ways at West Ham last Sunday and started from the bench again.

For Saturday’s game against Leeds United (17:30 GMT), it is still to be seen if Salah will start.

When asked if he understood Salah’s discussion after being fired, Slot responded, “Yes because he deserves it, he has been so important to me for six or seven years.

When he isn’t playing, it’s completely normal that people discuss it.

Before entering a new deal with Liverpool that runs until 2027, Salah had strong ties to Al-Ittihad.

Salah has made 420 starts for Liverpool across all divisions since joining the Reds in 2017. He has already scored 250 goals.

This week, Liverpool’s captain Virgil van Dijk claimed that Salah’s decision to leave the club serves as proof that no-one has “unlimitable credit” at the club.

Van Dijk said after the Sunderland draw that “he is still a fantastic player and we still have to remember there is a reason why he has been so successful at the club.”

As one of the leaders, I need him around. I’m not concerned. He is disappointed, which is perfectly normal since he is also disappointed when they don’t play two games in a row.

No-one is undroppable, as has always been the case. Everyone has to perform, not like you have unlimited credit.

How his mother’s murder steeled Duncan for UFC’s toughest fights

Getty Images

Performances like Chris Duncan’s gutsy win over Mateusz Rebecki four months ago can define a fighter.

In a brutal back-and-forth battle, which left both fighters bloodied and battered, it was Scotland’s Duncan who got his hand raised in a fight-of-the-year contender.

Fans and pundits praised Duncan for the grit and determination he showed, while Duncan says even his coaching team were surprised by the level of his performance.

“My training partner Robert Whiteford – I don’t think he knew I was capable of that and he sung my praises after,” Duncan told BBC Sport.

Duncan, however, was not surprised by his showing.

He knew what he was capable of because the trauma he experienced as an amateur fighter built the resilience he would need to overcome life’s toughest challenges.

On 18 April 2014, a day before Duncan’s amateur debut, his mother Elaine was murdered by her boyfriend James Morley, who was jailed for life for the crime.

“I still went ahead with the fight the following day. A lot of people would have pulled out in that moment,” said Duncan.

“I won the fight, and I remember standing in the club after with a couple of bottles of beer. I was a shepherd at the time, and I was like ‘this life isn’t for me any more’.

Duncan says the consistency of MMA training – a two-hour morning session followed by two hours in the evening – allowed him to come to peace with what had happened.

Now he is able to use the grief he experienced to his advantage in overcoming adversity in the octagon.

“My past has not been the greatest and that’s built the resilience I needed for that fight,” said Duncan.

“Not a lot of people went through what I went through as a youngster – and that’s what’s built me into the person and character I am today.”

On Saturday at UFC 323 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Duncan faces his next challenge when he takes on American lightweight Terrance McKinney.

Despite proving his durability in the bruising encounter with Rebecki, Duncan is not hoping for a similar fight against McKinney.

“I would like to go in there and in two seconds the bell rings, and I hit him with a right hand and he falls over. That would be fantastic,” said Duncan.

“It’s not often I say this but I’m proud of what I’ve done this camp. I said that to my girlfriend two days ago.

‘It would be amazing to get Scotland behind me’

Following Paul Craig’s retirement in September, Duncan is arguably Scotland’s most accomplished fighter in the UFC.

He has won five of his six fights since debuting in 2023, and is targeting a spot in the top 15 of the promotion’s lightweight rankings, should he beat McKinney convincingly.

The fight comes weeks after the men’s football team qualified for the World Cup in dramatic style against Denmark last month.

In the first half, midfielder Scott McTominay put Scotland ahead with a spectacular overhead kick.

The result sparked elation among football fans in the country – something which Duncan hopes he can replicate in the future from a sporting perspective.

“I don’t watch football but I saw Scotland won. If I could do an overhead kick and knock someone out that would be fantastic,” he joked.

“MMA is such a young sport right now, we haven’t got the eyes on it in Scotland – not everyone knows about it, but it’s coming. And I’m going to be the guy leading the way.

“When Scotland do come together, like in a World Cup game, we do come arm in arm. If I could get the whole of Scotland behind me it would be absolutely amazing.”

Who is Brian Cole, arrested for planting pipe bombs in Washington in 2021?

The US Justice Department announced on Thursday morning that Virginia resident Brian Cole, 30, has been detained for planting two pipe bombs in Washington, DC, on January 6, 2021, during the Capitol riots.

What is known about Cole’s arrest, as shown here.

Brian Cole, who is he?

According to the Justice Department, Cole resides in Prince William County in Virginia.

West of Washington, DC, Prince William County is located 36 miles away.

In northern Virginia, Cole works in the office of a bail bondsman, according to an FBI affidavit from December 3. A bail bondsman, also known as a bond agent, is a person or business that guarantees a defendant’s willingness to appear in court hearings after being released from jail.

Cole, along with his mother and “other family members,” reside in a single-family home in Woodbridge. He is described as wearing corrective eyeglasses and standing at 168 cm.

What is Cole facing?

In interstate commerce, Cole is accused of moving IEDs (also known as moving goods between states) with the intent to kill, hurt, or intimidate any person, or otherwise unlawfully to damage, destroy, or damage any building, vehicle, or other real or personal property.

Additionally, Cole is accused of attempting to use explosives and fire to cause malicious harm.

A pipe bomb is what?

Any homemade or custom-made bomb that has been developed and used outside of conventional military production is a type of IED.

A plastic, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe is typically packed with a dangerous substance, typically a powder or a chemical, with each end secured with a cap or plug. Typically, pipe bombs have a remote trigger, timer, or fuse.

What is said to have happened to Cole?

US law enforcement on January 6, 2021, received a notification that an IED might have been placed close to the Republican National Committee (RNC) headquarters in Washington, DC, around 1 p.m. (18:00 GMT).

A second IED was discovered a few blocks away from the RNC’s headquarters in Washington, DC, about 15 minutes later.

Both IEDs were pipe bombs made of red and black 14-gauge electrical wires connected by alligator clips to a nine-volt battery and connector, as well as paper clips, homemade black powder, and steel wool.

The RNC and DNC are state-wide political party organizations that raise money for their respective political parties across the country.

Both bombs were deactivated before they detonated by USCP members in the Hazardous Devices Section.

Are we aware of Cole’s motivation?

No. The motive behind Cole’s actions has not yet been revealed by authorities.

How was Cole found out?

The same person who was wearing a mask to conceal his face was responsible for the two bombs, according to surveillance footage from the nearby streets. He has now been identified as Cole.

The FBI determined that the suspect was about 5 feet, 7 inches (170cm) tall based on the video footage in January 2021.

The FBI offered a $500, 000 reward for information about the suspect after it released the surveillance footage online in March 2021. In the years that followed, the agency received countless tips.

In the course of its years-long investigation, the FBI claimed to have received tens of tip tips about him.

Around the time the bombs were planted, the FBI then compared Cole’s cellphone records to those in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Additionally, they provided additional information about where he had made the purchases and linked him to those made through bank and credit card data from 2019 and 2020.

“We do not forget, give up, or give in,” he said. Our team continued to churn through large amounts of data and tips that we used to identify this suspect, even though it had been nearly five years, according to FBI deputy assistant director Darren Cox.

What happened on January 6, 2021?

In an effort to prevent the 2020 election results from being certified, thousands of people marched on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021. They were fueled by false accusations that Democratic candidate Joe Biden had won the previous November presidential election.

More than 2, 000 rioters smashed windows, damaged furniture and equipment, stole items, and forced their way inside the Capitol building.

At least five people died as a result of the violence, including police officers.

More than 950 people were detained in connection with the riot, and some of them were charged with seditious conspiracy, a rare but serious offence.

Prison sentences for dozens of people were typically three to seven years in prison.

However, some far-right extremists received longer prison terms, lasting between 15 and 22 years.

Trump signed a presidential proclamation pardoning or commuting sentences for 1,500 defendants in January 2025, shortly before his second term as president.

These people have been destroyed, he said at the time. They have done something outrageous to these people. In our nation’s history, it has hardly ever been like it.

What follows?

Attorney General Pam Bondi stated that additional charges may be brought against Cole in connection with the investigation into the riots that occurred on January 6.

He will appear in court in Washington, DC, for a hearing later this week, according to local media.
