TikTok star, 25, dies suddenly as girlfriend breaks silence on tragic last phone call

Ben Bader, a famous actor, passed away “extremely suddenly” at the age of 25. His ailing girlfriend has now shared details about their final moments, including the last call they had.

A neighbor discovered a popular TikToker “not breathing,” leading to his tragic death at the age of 25.

Influencer from Miami, Ben Bader, passed away “extremely suddenly” on Thursday, October 23.

Police reported that neighbours discovered the star unresponsive, according to TMZ. First responders reportedly performed “lifesaving measures” at the scene, which continued once medical personnel arrived.

Later, Bader was taken to a hospital, but tragically, he passed away. Authorities have not yet excluded foul play, and the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner has not yet declared the cause of death.

Reem, Bader’s girlfriend, confirmed his passing in an emotional online condolence. She wrote, “The past few days have been the most difficult few days of my entire life, and I’ve never dealt with this before.”

“Especially not with the loss of someone who was as significant to me as he was.” He was so enthusiastic about each and every person he met and genuinely loved everyone. Reem added that it is still unknown what caused Bader’s death.

Bader rose to internet fame for offering lifestyle and financial advice to his 135,000 TikTok followers. On Instagram, where he had nearly 50,000 followers, he often shared photos from sporting events and with luxury cars.

The lifestyle creator had celebrated his 25th birthday just a month earlier, on September 22. “He made a profound impact on everyone who knew him through his wisdom, humour, and compassion,” Bader’s family said in a statement to People.

Ben “inspired those around him to look for meaning, connection, and purpose in their own lives by living each day to the fullest.”

“Though our hearts are broken, we will carry on Ben’s legacy in everything we do,” the family continued. “We will keep his memory alive by leading with love, living with purpose, and carrying forward his passions that made the world brighter.”

The star’s girlfriend revealed that the couple planned to have dinner the night of his death.

No one really knows how he died, she said, and she shared that it appeared to have happened suddenly. We were supposed to have dinner that night, but he seemed so normal, he said, “There really weren’t any signs of this happening.”

She claimed in a now heartbreaking phone call that she had spoken with him just before his passing.

He was just smiling and being so funny, she said when I first spoke to him on FaceTime a few hours prior to his passing. Ben was “the most generous, kind, and caring person I’ve ever met.”

Reem referred to Bader as “hero” and “inspiration.” She continued, “I realize this is selfish, but I just feel like I gave him everything and he gave it everything, only to have him go.” Because it’s so simple to just move on, I feel so fortunate to have been loved by him.

The final TikTok of Bader featured him offering his fans financial advice on the day he passed away. He urged viewers to “pick one business idea and stick to it,” making a comparison between commitment and finding a purpose in learning a new sport.

The reason why you feel “like empty or directionless” is because you haven’t clearly defined what you want, Bader powerfully stated in the video.

Zohran Mamdani supporters make final campaign push: Why him, why now?

“Focus, focus, and focus on affordability” in New York City.

Robert Wood, a 47-year-old writer and lead volunteer for mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, believes that the key to winning voters in New York City’s tense election campaign is in the simple message.

Mamdani’s surprise victory in the June Democratic primary and his dominating lead in the polls ahead of the election day on November 4 have a symbolic impact that extends far beyond the city’s five boroughs.

A rebuke to the wealthy donor-dominated Democratic establishment has been deemed by many to be a path forward for liberal politics that was abandoned by US President Donald Trump.

Mamdani supporters are aware that he must actually make it into City Hall for a movement that has spread across the nation and indeed the globe to fully realize. That begins and ends with door-knocking: there is a lot of door-knocking.

A door opened to reveal Nadia on a windswept October day in a row of townhouses in the Crown Heights neighborhood, which Mamdani and her main rival Andrew Cuomo split in the primaries. She claimed she is already anticipating Mamdani.

We must ensure that our friends and families get out and vote, Wood argued, noting that a resounding mandate would boost Mamdani’s ambitious plans, which included increased taxes on corporations and the wealthiest New Yorkers, to increase rent freezes on stabilized apartments, free buses, and universal childcare.

The governor and state legislators will have to veto hard-fought victories in order for execution.

Another man claimed to be unsure at a nearby, rent-stabilized apartment complex. Wood cited Mamdani’s pledge to freeze rents in similar buildings, which account for about a quarter of the city’s housing stock.

The man is gracious but reluctant to say, “Thank you, I’m still deciding,”

Onika Saul, a 45-year-old property manager, was greeted down the street as she climbed a steep concrete stoop. She was concerned that “realism is kind of skewed” in Mamdani’s pledges.

Anyone can say anything, she said, but “action always speaks louder than words.”

“So I personally want to see more action than words because I have been so many times deceived by so many politicians and so many promises,” I say.

In the final stretch of the mayoral race, Joseph Stepansky/Al Jazeera, Mamdani’s campaign relied on tens of thousands of volunteers.

Wood, however, inserted. He described Mamdani’s activism as a state assemblyman, which included a hunger strike led by taxi drivers, and his arrest in front of US Senator Chuck Schumer’s residence in connection with the US’s funding of the Gaza war. He also noted that Mamdani has relied on small donations, in contrast to the donations made by billionaire business and real estate executives who have helped Cuomo’s campaign.

He also cited Mamdani’s vocal support for Palestinian rights, a rarity in mainstream US politics, as one of the most important issues in the race.

Wood said that Zohran is undoubtedly the only politician in the race to refer to what is happening in Gaza as a genocide.

Saul reaffirmed that it was a genocide.

Saul had her reservations by the conclusion. After all, Mamdani’s most important promises, such as universal childcare for children under five, do not directly apply to her. However, she claimed she would support his vision and vote for him.

Marco Pierre White Jr jailed for over three years after stealing £1,500 of Jellycat toys

After being remanded in custody over a crime spree, Marco Pierre White Jr., one of the Michelin star chefs, made an appearance in court today.

Following a number of shoplifting and burglaries, Marco Pierre White Jr. was sentenced to prison today.

The Big Brother star appeared at Isleworth Crown Court today via video link as the sentence was handed down, after admitting to a series of offences earlier this year.

After entering a plea to four counts of burglary and one count of criminal damage in court on August 20, the troubled son of the well-known Michelin chef Marco Pierre White, was taken into custody on remand following a crime spree in west London and Bath.

Pierre White Jr., however, told prison guards he did not want to wait and instead went back to his cell when the judge adjourned to consider the sentence. When the jail term was commuted, he was absent. Three years and ten months of prison were given to Marco Pierre White Jr.

Judge Edwards Connell stated that Pierre White Jr. “is accurately described as]a prolific acquisitive offender.” Judge Connell described White’s behavior as a “campaign of dishonesty” and spoke of his “wilful” and “persistent” non-compliance with suspended sentences. He added that the defendant’s abominable record of dishonesty and the fact that he received one or two suspended sentences, respectively, make all of the crimes worse.

He is described as a prolific offender quite appropriately, in my opinion.

He violates court orders while serving suspended sentence sentences, which is unfortunate.

The defendant violates two suspended sentence orders, the first of which was issued for burglaries on November 29, 2024, and he received an 18-month suspended sentence.

After Pierre White Jr violated them by committing the crimes, he also activated 25 weeks of suspended sentences. These will be served in addition to the three-year, five-month prison sentence.

Sean Sullivan, the troubled actor’s attorney, claimed his “long-standing drug addiction” was the cause of the crimes. And the abuses occurred after the treatment facility he was staying at abruptly closed down.

He must steal to keep his habit, according to Mr. Sullivan.

Prior to that, White had admitted to four burglary counts, criminal damage, and a number of theft counts.

Two fluorite crystal lamp towers worth £13,600 were stolen from a west London gallery by Pierre White Junior, who broke into it, causing £27, 000 worth of damage.

The TV star, who has battled drug addiction, also robbed a Barnes and Noble store of £7775 worth of natural rock crystal formations.

Today’s court heard that Pierre White Jr. frequently had a Lime Bike waiting for him when he committed the crimes.

He also made a threat to hurt a Westbourne Grove employee who was stealing £1, 331 worth of hygiene products while working there.

After previously denying a number of the offences, he now made an appearance in court via video link today.

Strictly’s Amy Dowden admits ‘I’ve had some scares’ as she shares emotional cancer update

In recent years, Amy Dowden has battled breast cancer to return to the Strictly dance floor following her diagnosis in 2023, inspiring thousands of people.

Strictly Come Dancing professional Amy Dowden has spoken about her current cancer status after suffering some health scares recently.

Amy, 35, appeared on The Dr Hilary Show podcast, where she shared her happiness over being in remission, but went on to explain that doctors had recently found “specks on my other breast”.

Amy, a 32-year-old woman who was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2023, has been open about her battle with the disease in recent years. According to the diagnosis, she missed the Strictly edition that year and had to have both chemotherapy and mastectomy removed.

Amy’s fight against breast cancer has inspired thousands of people in the months that have followed. No disease evidence, Amy said in a conversation with Dr. Hilary. My other breast has specks on it, which is unpleasant, and I’ve had some scares from that.

“That breast has had more biopsies done,” I said. Because the family has breast cancer, significant decisions must be made right away and later. I’m in incredibly good hands.

Amy has also discussed the strain and pressure she put on herself to return to the dance floor in addition to discussing the disease’s effects.

Amy, who also has Crohn’s disease, discussed her desire to end her life as soon as possible in a previous conversation on the Breast Cancer Uncovered podcast.

Amy responded, “Can I have both off when I was told I needed a mastectomy?” I didn’t want to go back on with my life and deal with the fact that the cancer was returning to the other breast. I wanted to continue living my life.

Amy also discussed the sudden shock of discovering her diary had vanished due to the illness and the realization that the recovery process would take longer than she anticipated.

She explained, “Suddenly, my diary was empty because I was skipping dance shows and going to work.” And I was unsure if I would start dancing once more.

“Was I going to start working once more?” You can’t predict when you’ll return to full health because it was a very terrifying time. You can’t say for sure, though.

For me, it was really difficult to say goodbye to someone who had such a busy diary and suddenly started canceling everything and not knowing when your life would resume was really difficult.

“I believed that was it,” she said. It was going to resume. I didn’t realize how long it actually took to recover from that difficult slog.

Haaland drinks raw milk – why is it controversial?

Getty Images

The first video posted on Erling Haaland’s new YouTube channel has attracted more than five million views – and prompted discussion about his consumption of raw milk.

In an episode titled ‘Day in the life of a pro footballer’, Manchester City and Norway striker Haaland, 25, speaks about his daily routine and enjoyment of cooking – and eating – tomahawk steaks.

But he also talks about his taste for drinking raw, unpasteurised milk, which cannot be bought in shops or supermarkets – though its sale is legal in England.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) advises it “may contain harmful bacteria that can cause food poisoning” and therefore should not be consumed by people with weaker immune systems, including those aged 65 and over, pregnant women, small children and those with a compromised immune system.

What is raw milk and how much does Haaland drink?

Erling Haaland@Erling YouTube

In the YouTube episode, Haaland is filmed visiting a farm in Cheshire to collect his supply of raw milk.

He refers to it as a “superfood” that he believes is “good for the stomach, good for the skin, the bones and muscles”, adding: “That is why I drink it.”

Sources close to the striker have told BBC Sport he drinks one glass every morning and another after training – a ritual that has been a part of his life for as long as he can remember.

Put simply, Haaland feels it makes him healthier, which is an important mindset for an athlete at the peak of their profession. Basically, it’s more a life choice for him than one taken with sporting nutrition in mind.

It is understood some of Haaland’s City team-mates also drank raw milk before his arrival, though it is not known how many – or how much they consume.

The majority of milk drunk in the UK is heat-treated – or pasteurised – to kill off harmful bacteria. Raw drinking milk is not produced in the same way – going straight from the animal to the bottle without any treatment.

“Raw milk may contain food poisoning bacteria, so there are extra checks and hygiene standards for raw drinking milk producers,” says FSA deputy director of policy Natasha Smith.

Is raw milk readily available?

The sale of raw cow’s drinking milk is legal in England, Wales and Northern Ireland – but it can only be sold directly to consumers by registered raw drinking milk production farms, at registered farmers’ markets, and by distributors with milk-round vehicles. It is banned in Scotland.

Raw milk must come from animals that are free from diseases such as tuberculosis, from farms that comply with hygiene rules and are routinely inspected twice a year, and must be labelled with the appropriate health warning.

What do the experts say?

Despite its listing as a “risky” product, the FSA told BBC Sport there has been an increase in the popularity of raw milk because “people believe it has health benefits” – though it says there is little credible scientific evidence to support that.

The farm at which Haaland was filmed buying milk wrote on Facebook that its product had been “rather in demand” since the episode was posted, staff had been “frazzled”, and it hoped to “buy a new dairy cow very soon” so orders could be met more quickly.

Former City academy nutritionist Dan Richardson told BBC Sport he would always look for the “safest approach possible” so as “not to compromise on the safety of food”.

He said: “The challenge with raw milk is that you can get some companies who do a good job in reducing the risk factor to bacteria, and I am sure Haaland will be using the premium quality available out there.

“A nutritionist is not going to allow him to buy raw milk that has a high risk of contamination. When people begin to copy these dietary habits, it can become unsafe as people will go out and buy the cheapest and most accessible version that may carry the food-borne illnesses.”

Asked if he felt the trend of drinking raw milk would gain momentum, Richardson said: “Unfortunately, I can see it happening.”

For Haaland, drinking raw milk is part of an unconventional off-field routine that also includes red-light therapy and adding maple syrup to his coffee.

Richardson added: “Young athletes need to remember that getting the right amount of carbohydrates, hitting the protein intake and eating three regular meals with snacks is a better approach than jumping towards trends.

“Some athletes will try to find a quick fix by replicating a role model rather than doing the mundane stuff really well.

When asked if he thought the practice of drinking raw milk would take off, Richardson responded, “Unfortunately, I can see it happening.

Some athletes try to emulate a role model rather than perform the seemingly mundane tasks very well.
