Adam Peaty brutal wedding day text in full as family feud erupted
After months of family drama, Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty married Holly Ramsay’s daughter on Saturday, but he received a furious text from his aunt Louise.
As Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay prepared for one of the biggest moments of their lives, the groom received a brutal last minute text message from his aunt Louise. Casting a gloomy shadow over the couple’s happy day, the devastating message was sent by the uninvited guest to “shame” Adam and Holly for their choices.
In the run-up to his big day with Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Holly, Olympian Adam’s relationship with his side of the family, which all but ended with the text, was dealt yet another blow. Due to Adam’s family’s fear that they were being pushed out, the wedding preparations have been hampered by drama.
However, Adam received a notification from his mother’s sister Louise moments before the couple tied the knot. He received a text that read, “Shame on you!,” after entering the church while holding his five-year-old son’s hand.
As reported by the Mail, the scathing text read: “I hope you never suffer the depth of pain you have put your mother through and despite it all she loves you still. Shame on you both. Shame.
Remember that you hurt your mother so severely that her soul screams on this, your happiest day, and each anniversary of your happiest day.
Holly’s hen do celebrations were not attended by Adam’s mother Caroline, and his father had his Budapest stag party too. Although Adam had offered to pay for her outfit, his mother reportedly chose a cream dress because it was too traditional. He and Holly reportedly vetoed the choice.
The 2024 engagement party also sparked a rift, with many of Adam’s family members being absent, which caused Caroline to become upset. The wedding, which took place on December 27 at Bath’s historic Abbey, only got worse when Caroline was abruptly barred from the ceremony.
His sister Bethany, who was Holly’s bridesmaid, was the only person in Adam’s previously tight-knit family who was present for their special day. Around 1.30 p.m., the bride and groom were driven away to Georgian manor Kin House, which is 17 miles away.
A wedding banquet and cake were served at 8 o’clock for the guests. However, Caroline was allegedly “sideswiped” as she sat at the family home in Staffordshire as the evening’s festivities continued. I’m not going to suffer like this again, Caroline told the Mail on Sunday.
A source told the Sun : “It was a difficult day for Caroline and Mark, so the family spent the evening together. Caroline got upset as soon as she saw the photographs from the wedding. For him to turn around and tell Beth that his dad could come and sit at the back of the church is awful. Mark was told he could sit behind plus-ones – who Adam has probably never even seen or spoken to.”
After Adam’s stag do in Budapest, the swimmer allegedly received “increasingly abusive and threatening” text messages, which allegedly caused Holly to call the police, and the situation became a legal issue. James Peaty, Adam’s older brother, was arrested and then released on bail as a result. Officers at Manchester Airport met Adam because they worried about his safety, according to reports.

The French actor and singer Brigitte Bardot, who reinvented herself as an animal protection advocate and outspoken supporter of the far right, passed away at the age of 91.
The Brigitte Bardot Foundation announced her passing on Sunday, stating that the foundation’s founder and president had passed away.

The foundation described Bardot as a “world-renowned actress and singer” who “decided to devote her life and energy to animal welfare and her foundation” in a statement sent to the AFP news agency. It provided no information about her death or whereabouts.
In 1956, Bardot gained international recognition with her role in the 1956 film And God Created Woman, which attempted to portray female sexuality on screen. She became one of the most recognizable faces of post-war French cinema after making appearances in about 50 movies.
At the height of her fame, Bardot stopped acting and turned her attention to animal welfare in the early 1970s. Although her supporters praised her campaign, her public life became more and more content as she embraced far-right policies and made frequent racist and inflammatory remarks.
Her activism led to the party’s longtime leader Marine Le Pen and France’s far-right National Front, now known as National Rally, receiving immediate support. French courts have repeatedly found Bardot guilty of inciting racial hatred in recent years.
