Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay’s Bath Abbey wedding ‘descends into chaos’ as bride mobbed

The bride was apparently mobbed by photographers at Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay’s wedding in Bath Abbey, and a fight reportedly broke out with security.

There were chaotic scenes ahead of Adam Peaty’s nuptials to Holly Ramsay as the bride appeared to find herself surrounded by photographers upon her arrival with her father Gordon. Following last year’s proposal, three-time Olympic gold medallist swimmer Peaty exchanged vows with Ramsay at Bath Abbey on Sunday.

The couple had an A-list congregation that included David and Victoria Beckham, renowned chef Marcus Wareing and television presenter Dan Walker. The couple’s wedding plans have dominated headlines in recent weeks, with a family rift on Peaty’s side resulting in him excluding all but one relative from the ceremony.

Given the significant media coverage and the celebrity guests’ attendance, it’s likely that there was a lot of coverage outside the abbey as the bride made her entrance on Sunday, accompanied by heavy security. However, there were some unpleasant situations when other paparazzi photographers allegedly rushed from a rear entrance, even though the majority of the press was positioned in a designated area at the front of the venue.

It’s claimed the group tried to intercept Ramsay and her father’s arrival. This is said to have resulted in confrontations with security personnel outside the abbey, reports Wales Online.

A skirmish allegedly broke out in a confined passageway next to the Ramsays as bodyguards constructed a protective cordon around the hotel. The bride and the Hell’s Kitchen celebrity reportedly got into a fight during the midst of the chaos.

A source told Hello! Magazine that the situation “descended into chaos”, with “Gordon and Holly, in her wedding dress, being jostled around just as she entered the church.” Despite the commotion, the Ramsays managed to escape with the assistance of security and proceeded into the abbey.

This is the most recent twist in what has been a highly anticipated wedding that was the result of a family feud, which is said to have started with his mother Caroline being denied entry to Ramsay’s hen-do. Bethany Peaty’s sister, who served as the bridesmaid, was the only family member present at the wedding as a result of this.

Caroline said in a conversation with the Daily Mail that the wedding day morning, “I don’t think they understand how badly they have hurt me; it feels like they have cut my heart out.”

“This is the first Christmas that I’ve not had my family together – my family is broken. Yes, I have my other grandchildren. Yes, I have my other children, but my family is split because of the goings on…because of the wedding.”

She continued, “I don’t want to ruin his wedding day, and going would just cause even more of a storm.” I wished I could watch him get married peacefully, but that’s now impossible.

Saudi coalition will counter Yemen separatists undermining de-escalation

As Riyadh responds to calls for the group to “peacefully” withdraw from recently seized eastern provinces, the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen says it will respond to any separatist military movements that undermine de-escalation efforts in the southern region.

Saudi Arabia’s Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman stated on Saturday on X that “it’s time” for STC troops to “let reason prevail by resuming their positions and conducting their actions peacefully.”

According to the Saudi-led coalition’s spokesman, Brigadier General Turki al-Maliki, “any military movements that violate these [de-escalation] efforts will be dealt with directly and immediately to protect civilian lives and ensure the success of restoring calm,” according to the Saudi Press Agency.

Without providing any supporting supporting evidence, Al-Maliki also accused the STC separatists of “grave and horrifying human rights violations against civilians”.

The STC accused Saudi Arabia of conducting air strikes on separatist positions in Yemen’s Hadramout province the day after Washington called for restraint in the rapidly escalating conflict.

In the provinces of Hadramout and al-Mahra, forces aligned with the STC earlier this month took large chunks of the government’s control of Hadramout and al-Mahra. The government and the STC have collaborated extensively with Iran in the Houthi rebels’ fight.

The Saudi defense minister’s remarks were welcomed by Abdullah al-Alimi, a member of the internationally renowned government’s presidential leadership council, saying they “clearly reflect the kingdom’s steadfast stance and sincere concern for Yemen’s security and stability.”

After an emergency meeting late on Friday, Rashad al-Alimi, the president’s leader, declared that STC movements posed “serious violations against civilians.”

The STC wants to resurrect South Yemen, a state that was once independent, with the support of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The organization issued a warning on Friday that attacks on their positions by Saudi Arabia were unrestable.

Diplomacy and de-escalation

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio remarked in Washington that “we call for restraint and continued diplomacy in order to find a lasting solution.”

Meanwhile, Azerbaijan applauded Saudi Arabia’s and the UAE’s efforts to ease Yemen’s ongoing tensions.

Yemen’s government demanded support for its forces in Hadramout following separatists’ invasion of the country’s largest province on Friday.

According to the official Yemeni news agency, the government directed the coalition to “take all necessary military measures to support the armed forces in Hadramout province and protect innocent Yemeni civilians there.”

About 15, 000 Saudi-backed fighters were amassed close to the Saudi border, according to a Yemeni military official on Friday, despite receiving no instructions to advance into separatist-held territory. The STC has recently taken control of the areas where they were deployed, which are close to the borders of that territory.

Separatist advancements have increased pressure on Saudi Arabia and the UAE, both of whom are close allies of Yemen’s government and who support opposing interests.

As the two Gulf allies sought to present a front that was united on Friday, the UAE applauded Saudi efforts to boost Yemeni security.

The separatists are among the groups that make up Yemen’s government, which is united under a common front against the Houthis.

Love Island All Stars teases line up as stars return with ‘unfinished business’

With Love Island: All Stars scheduled to air in January, fans will get to see some of the show’s favorite stars have a second chance at romance.

Love Island: All Stars fans don’t have long to wait for their next instalment, with the third season just two weeks away. The drama-filled spin-off is set to air on Monday 12 January, with ITV dropping a teaser video to get viewers in the mood.

Whose unfinished business is the 10-second clip featuring string-like snaps in the style of Polaroid? Fans are left to speculate about who will return to tie those knots in The All Stars, which adds more drama.

Host Maya Jama will return for the launch, with narrator Iain Stirling back for more cheeky voiceover action. All Stars brings previous Love Island contestants back to the villa for another crack at romance.

The first series in 2024 saw winners Molly Smith and Tom Clare find love, with the pair now living together. They went on to get engaged in Dubai.

This year’s series, aired in January 2025, saw Gabby Allen and Casey O’Gorman hit it off, but their relationship ended a few months after leaving. The cast is yet to be officially announced, but of course, fans have been speculating over who might be heading back to the villa.

Rumour has it that a few contestants from the 2019 series will be back from more, with names like Curtis Pritchard and Belle Hassan circulating. Both Belle and Curtis were on the series at the same time – the year that saw Molly Mae Hague and Tommy Fury come second.

Although they split shortly after the series ended, Molly Mae and Tommy now share toddler Bambi. They were defeated by Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea. They moved into a stunning £5 million mansion in Cheshire in 2022, and they live there together.

Former Hollyoaks star Curtis was coupled up Amy Hart, but infamously left her for newcomer Maura Higgins. They too split after leaving the villa, amid rumours that Curtis cheated on her.

Others rumoured to be back for this year include Scott van-der-Sluis (season 10), Whitney Adebayo, (season 10), Remell Ellis-Mullings (season 12), Lana Jenkins (season 9), Harrison Solomon (season 12), Jacques O’Neil (season 8), and Scots star Alima Gagigo (season 12).

Millie Court and Liam Reardon were anticipated by fans. The couple split earlier this year, which sparked rumors that they would be getting together.

However, when asked, Liam rejected the idea. One fan posed the Welshman the question, “You’ve been very quiet on here, will we see you on All Stars in January,” during a Snapchat Q&amp, A.

You won’t see me on All Stars in January, Liam said, “I have been a busy man working on something very important to me.” I recently started a gym, and that’s where I’m focused mostly and just getting on with my life.

Love Island: All Stars has quickly established itself as a stand-alone hit, keeping fans captivated by renowned Islanders from the past ten years who are returning for another chance to find love, according to Mike Spencer-Hayter, Creative Director of Lifted Entertainment.

Following a smash hit summer series, “We are very excited about series three, and you can expect the twists and turns to continue in All Stars.”

On Monday, January 19 at 9 p.m., Love Island: All Stars will air on ITV2 and ITVX.

Key royal skipped Sandringham Christmas with Firm as reason for absence emerges

There was a surprise absence when the King, Queen, and other members of the Firm traveled to Sandringham for Christmas.

King Charles led a near full contingent of royals to church on Christmas morning as part of Firm’s annual festive celebrations. As the family walked the short distance from Sandringham House to St Mary Magdalene’s Church, the King was joined by the likes of the Queen, Prince and Princess of Wales as well as Princess Anne and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, for the special service.

Even Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, along with their husbands, opted to join their royal relatives for the celebrations – despite their disgraced father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, staying away. However, another royal who didn’t take part in the annual Sandringham gathering this year was another much-loved family member – Peter Phillips.

The son of Princess Anne did not join his royal relatives, including his sister Zara Tindall, for the big day, and his reason for skipping the festivities has been explained. According to Hello!, Peter decided to spend Christmas with his fiancée Harriet Sperling and her family.

Last year, NHS nurse Harriet was scheduled to work but the publication reports that this year, the couple decided to spend Christmas together quietly, away from the public eye.

It was back in August that Peter, the King’s oldest nephew, revealed he was engaged to be married to Harriet after a year of dating. The pair confirmed their engagement with the King and Peter’s cousin Prince William said to have been informed, with both delighted for the couple.

Peter, 48, has two daughters named Isla and Savannah with him, who he previously married to Autumn Kelly. Before their split last year, he and Lindsay Wallace, a long-term partner, broke up, and he later fell in love with NHS nurse Harriet.

Peter and Harriet first made their debut as a couple just over a year ago when they both appeared together at the Badminton Horse Trials, where mum-of-one Harriet mingled with Peter’s mum, Anne, sister-in-law to be Zara, as well as Queen Camilla.

The couple have been spotted together at a number of social events together, such as Wimbledon as well as Cheltenham Races in January. In June, they appeared at Royal Ascot together where Harriet, who has also previously been married, made her debut in one of the carriages during the royal procession – with the move being seen as a significant sign of her moving into the royal fold.

Tom Parker Bowles and Laura Lopes, two of Queen Camilla’s children, and their families, were among the other family members who were unaccounted for during the Sandringham celebrations.

Camilla’s children and grandchildren visited Sandringham for the first time last year, though they decided against attending church on Christmas morning.

However, Tom explained in a recent interview that they would not be there this year and that there would be other years when they would reside at the royal residence.

‘Confident’ Holly Ramsay is ‘fully in control’ at star-studded wedding amid feud

Holly Ramsay appeared “fully in control” as she prepared to marry Adam Peaty, despite the ongoing family drama. And a respected expert observeda telling change in a married woman’s exit from the church

Although Holly Ramsay, who an expert has noted, appeared “fully in control” as she made her way to Bath Abbey today, may experience some nerves on their wedding day.

As she prepared to marry Olympian sweetheart Adam Peaty, Holly, 25, was accompanied by her devoted father, Gordon Ramsay, who was also present.

Following a powerful row that resulted in the couple’s wedding having a significant impact, with the majority of Adam’s family clearly absent from the Abbey.

In her final few moments as an unmarried woman, the blissful bride carefully concealed the dress everyone wanted to see beneath a chic white cloak, avoiding any of this strife.

Indeed, dad Gordon appeared to be in need of some reassurance, as Judi James, a body language and communication expert, had pointed out.

Judi told the Mirror: “Holly looked very much like the confident and radiantly happy bride, fully in control of her image as she walked into church with dad Gordon.

Her dress was expertly sewn and concealed beneath a silk cloak she kept pulled in front of her torso to prevent any design leaks. Her smile was very A-list and was raised while also raising her head to express her happiness.

Judi continued, “This was Gordon looking nervous, not Holly, given the stark differences between father and daughter. His expression and eye dart, which he glared at cautiously as the crowds pressed in, suggested a state of concentration and a desire to protect his daughter.

Thoughtfully telling, his hand-clap together with Holly. The man should be holding the bride’s hand while extending his raised hand to maintain balance and elegance in the wedding dress. However, Gordon’s hand was shining here, implying that his daughter and daughter were giving him the same level of assurance and support.

proud father Gordon, 59, took a moment to reflect on his emotions just before that crucial church visit, which will undoubtedly be one of his most memorable days.

The TV chef, who shared sweet images of himself and Holly, said he was “truly so lucky” to be present on his daughter’s big day. Making sure to mention “incredible son-in-law” Adam, whom he has praised numerous times, wrote: “I’m truly so lucky to be able to walk this beautiful bride down the aisle and gain an incredible son-in-law @adam_peaty!” I’m so proud of you, Holly Ramsayy, and I can’t be prouder of my father.

The newlyweds Adam and Holly, who were married and now are expecting, erupted in cheers as they left the historic Abbey. They will now continue their celebrations at a lavish reception at Wiltshire’s Kin House country estate.

Judi explained that it was apparent from their body language that Adam and Holly had managed to put all the controversy surrounding their union to the side and concentrate on being in love and enjoying their day as married couples.

Holly’s wedding dress is still unveiled as she leaves after the service, but her smile of joy is present, with rounded cheeks and a wide, closed-limit smile that either matches her teeth-baring or demure one.

She continued, “It’s so cute how Adam’s emotional body language as he leads Holly out almost resembles Gordon’s as he led his daughter into the church. Due to the attention and crowds, both looked happy, but both appeared somewhat anxious.

Adam appears to be extremely happy and attentive to his bride on his arm with an asymmetric smile. He appears to be taking his duties very seriously, while Holly appears to be merely enjoying the entire experience.
