Adam Peaty shares first wedding day picture as he prepares to marry Holly Ramsay without his mum

The wedding ceremony, which was preceded by a family feud that saw him refuse to invite the majority of his family, has been a distraction as the three-time Olympian gold medalist Adam Peaty prepares to wed Holly Ramsay’s daughter.

Adam Peaty has shared his first wedding day picture amid a fallout with his mum meaning he’ll get married to Holly Ramsay without his mum. The Olympic swimmer and his bride, Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Holly, 25, are set to tie the knot today at the Abbey Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul in Bath.

Following a family feud that has overshadowed the couple’s special day, one notable guest has reportedly been prohibited from attending the nuptials. Only Bethany, Adam’s sister, will be present from his side of the family, it is said.

Adam’s wedding morning post was shared on his Instagram Stories, showing a stunning sunrise behind a pool and a frosty field. He captioned the idyllic image: “Morning of our wedding.”

The 30-year-old has documented his excitement for his and Holly’s big day in the lead up to the event, with the pair taking a luxury trip to Lapland. Adam, who shares his five-year-old son with ex-partner, artist Eirianedd Munro, described himself as “the luckiest man on earth”.

Tilly and Megan will also be present at the wedding, along with Holly’s father, Gordon Ramsay, a famous chef. Additionally, her mother Tana and her marine brother Jack will be present.

As well as Holly’s family, a host of celebrities will join in the celebration, including Victoria and David Beckham, and their children – presumably minus Brooklyn. Adam’s sister will represent his side of the family, as she prepares to be on bridesmaid duties for her soon-to-be sister-in-law.

However, Caroline and Mark, Adam’s parents, and some of their extended family, are not invited. Caroline, who was just turning 60, was said to have started the feud when Adam and Holly told her dress wasn’t appropriate. She later purchased it for the wedding.

However, it was later reported that the clash broke out because some of Adam’s family members weren’t invited to the couple’s engagement party – much to Caroline’s disappointment. The party is set to be aired on Netflix, as it was said to have been filmed as part of Gordon Ramsay’s show.

At the time, it was reported by the Sun that a source had divulged: “Adam’s family were at the engagement party, when relations were much better. Things went downhill from there.

His mother confronted Gordon at the event because she was upset that some members of the family weren’t present. As the party was being filmed, guests were required to sign non-disclosure agreements and hand in phones.

Caroline has since spoken out about her heartbreak. She told the Mail: “He’s in Gordon’s clutches. I can’t help but feel like they are pulling him away from me. Their family is very insular.”

However, the plot thickened when Adam shared a statement on Instagram, referencing an “ongoing police investigation into serious matters that arose long before recent events. He added: “For those who know me personally, you know that I work so hard on trying to improve myself as a person who wants to contribute to making the world a better place.

Even in these challenging times, I am continuing to learn about myself and how to become the man I want to be: a good partner, father, businessman, friend, and athlete. We don’t ask for sympathy; instead, Bethany, Holly, and I will get through this.

“We just need people to realize that every story has a story side,” she said. Thank you to those of you who have shown kindness and understanding. It is greatly appreciated. Holly also shared the post on her Instagram account.

FG Announces Boost In Power Supply After Repair Of Vandalised Gas Pipeline

Following the repair and restoration of the damaged Lagos-Escravos gas supply infrastructure, the Nigerian Independent System Operator (NISO) has announced a “notable” improvement in power generation.

The Nigerian Gas Infrastructure Company (NGIC), which the operator claimed improved the gas supply to a number of important thermal power plants across the nation, claimed to be responsible for the repair.

Following recent reports of a subpar power supply across the nation, the update was released.

The development, according to NISO, is a positive step toward ensuring consumers’ grid reliability and stabilizing the supply of electricity.

“To ensure a smooth recovery and maintain the stability of both the gas supply network and the national electricity grid, the affected plants are currently performing gradual power offtake.”

This measured approach is intended to reduce system stress and ensure a reliable supply of electricity to meet the needs of households, businesses, and industries.

Other thermal power plants are also on standby and ready, pending confirmation of gas supply from their respective suppliers, according to the statement.

To increase generation capacity and reduce the risk of outages, these plants will be integrated into the national grid.

“NISO continues to collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders, including gas suppliers, regulatory bodies, power generation companies, and regulatory bodies, to track developments and address any real-world operational issues.

The organization will continue to support these improvements and ensure a trustworthy, effective, and resilient power system that supports Nigeria’s socio-economic development.

‘MCG pitch would get hell if produced elsewhere’

If the Melbourne pitch, which his England team beat Australia in two days, had been produced in another region of the world, Captain Ben Stokes claims people would “hell” it.

36 wickets fell in six sessions at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), and Travis Head’s 46 was the only other batter’s record on either side.

When asked what kind of pitch-related criticism he would offer Jeff Crowe, the match referee, said: “Not the best.”

You can read into that a lot, he said in Test Match Special, “With 36 wickets in less than two days and no total over 200.”

You’d probably get a pasting if that was another circumstance occurring somewhere else.

The all-rounder made a possible remark about the criticism of Asian pitches that can turn too quickly and lead to lengthy Tests.

Stokes responded, “Those are your words, not mine,” when asked about making that inference.

He continued, “I’m pretty sure if that was somewhere else in the world there would be hell on.”

“We played a kind of cricket that ended up getting the job done,” said one player who said, “It is not the best thing for games that should be played over five days.”

After the series opener in Perth, which was also conducted within 48 hours, England won the second of the Ashes. Since 1896, this is the first Test series between opposing teams to feature two two-day tests.

England ended its 18 Test run in Australia by chasing 175 to win by four wickets in the pursuit of a victory.

“Looking for the ideal balance.”

Before the Test, stand-in Australia captain Steve Smith referred to the field as “furry and green” and said “batters would have to be on their game.”

Smith, who was speaking after his team was defeated, said he was “not sure” why MCG head groundsman Matthew Page chose to leave so much grass on the field for the famous Australian sporting event. On Sunday, Page will speak with the media.

“We let them decide it,” Smith said, “and they can do whatever they like.”

“I previously stated before the game that it appeared to offer a respectable amount, and it probably did more than we anticipated.”

As a groundsman, it’s difficult to find the right balance. If he had increased the 10mm to 8 wicket, it might have been a nice, challenging, or even, wicket. “Groundsmen are always learning, and maybe he’ll take something from that.”

After day one, former England captain Michael Vaughan had criticized the MCG pitch, claiming that it had “done too much” and that the end result was an unfair “contest between bat and ball.”

The International Cricket Council (ICC) assigns a rating to pitches and outfields that have hosted international competitions.

The MCG pitch received a “poor” rating for being too friendly for batting following the 2017 Ashes Test on this ground. England’s Alastair Cook recorded an unbeaten 244 during the entire Test, taking just 24 wickets overall.

Joe Root, an England batter who also played in 2017, stated that this pitch was “challenging to bat on.”

The question is, “Is it too one-sided to bat v. ball,” That is more highly regarded, “said Root,” in my opinion. From my perspective, it was undoubtedly challenging.

Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay wedding branded ‘selfish’ over Bath Abbey booking

The decision to book the prestigious venue for the entire day has come under scrutiny, but Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty and Holly Ramsay, daughter of Gordon Ramsay, are all set to tie the knot at Bath Abbey today.

The stunning Bath Abbey has been reserved for the star-studded occasion for the entire day (Saturday, December 27), according to photos of the stunning venue where the wedding reception for Olympian Adam Peaty and model Holly Ramsay will take place.

The renowned eatery’s Adam and Holly, the daughters of legendary chef Gordon Ramsay, will host guests like the Beckhams and the Beckhams. Due to the venue’s all-day reservation, which prevents any other couples from getting married there on the same day despite the ceremony lasting only about 90 minutes, the controversy has erupted.

To prevent people from entering or taking photos, security is thought to be present. The couple’s decision to reserve the abbey for the entire day has drawn criticism, with one source telling The Sun, “It seems rather selfish to book it for the entire day when your wedding service only lasts for about an hour and a half.”

Today, the official Bath Abbey website states that it is “closed for visiting” on December 27 and that visitors who are visiting the historic city of Bath are also prohibited from entering or walking close to the landmark.

It’s understood that Adam’s sister Bethany will be the only one standing by his side as the Peaty family feudrages continue to grow. Caroline Peaty, Adam’s heartbroken mother, originally planned to gatecrash the big day but was uninvited, has reportedly decided against doing this because it would “upset” her.

Caroline pleaded in a direct message to her 30-year-old son: “I know it’s the end.” However, I ask that regardless of what happens in the future, Adam know that I love you, that your father loves you, and that we can talk to each other whenever we want to.
