Michelle Keegan left furious after cruel vandals target her Range Rover

Michelle Keegan has been left furious after her £100,000 Range Rover had been damaged by vandals.

On Wednesday October 15 the actress, 37, shared the damage to the paintwork on her car to her 7.5million Instagram followers and she had some choice words for the person responsible.

In the short clip uploaded to her stories she pointed at the long scratch on her car door and wrote: “Hope the person who did this felt better bout themselves afterwards [thumb up emoji] scruffs.” She then filmed herself sat in the car and wrote: “Smiling on the outside, screaming on the inside, working out how not to let it ruin my day. Why though??”

It comes after the news the news that the Michelle Keegan-led BBC series Ten Pound Poms has been axed and would not be renewed for a third season. But a source claims exclusively to OK! that, though disappointed, former Corrie star Michelle will be making the most of having more time off – and not having to fly to the other side of the world for long periods – as it means more quality time with husband Mark and their daughter Palma.

“With Michelle, her career is everything. She loves her family and absolutely loves being a mother, but that doesn’t mean she’s not gutted that Ten Pound Poms has been cancelled,” the source claims. “Despite that, she’s definitely found more balance since having Palma, and Mark is always so supportive, so she isn’t complaining.”

The damage to her car comes eight months after she and husband Mark Wright ‘s £3.5million Essex home was targeted by four masked burglars while they were still inside.

Mark yelled, prompting the gang to flee empty-handed in a getaway car. Police were also alerted via the state-of-the-art security system, and arrived at the mansion within minutes. Mark, 38, and Michelle were said to be relieved but “very shaken up” by the ordeal.

Diane Keaton’s cause of death is identified as pneumonia by devastated family

Hollywood great Diane Keaton died of pneumonia, her family has said today.

Heartbroken relatives paid tribute to the actress, best known for her role as Kay Adams in The Godfather and collaborations with Woody Allen, in an emotional statement this morning following her death aged 79. They celebrated Diane’s huge love for animals and nature.

But the respect also confirmed Diane, who won an Oscar for Allen’s influential film Annie Hall, passed away following a short battle with pneumonia. The poignant tribute reads: “The Keaton family are very grateful for the extraordinary messages of love and support they have received these past few days on behalf of their beloved Diane, who passed away from pneumonia on October 11.

“She loved her animals and she was steadfast in her support of the unhoused community, so any donations in her memory to a local food bank or an animal shelter would be a wonderful and much appreciated tribute to her.”

Following Diane’s death on Saturday in California, a string of actors and directors, including Goldie Hawn, Bette Midler, Paul Feig and Ben Stiller, remembered the actress, whose career spanned more than five decades.

The family’s tribute is one of the latest in a string of heartbreaking words celebrating Diane’s life. One friend has also paid their respects, praising Diane’s “strength and spirit”. However, they added the star’s health had “declined very suddenly” and was “heartbreaking for everyone who loved her.”

They told People: “It was so unexpected, especially for someone with such strength and spirit. In her final months, she was surrounded only by her closest family, who chose to keep things very private. Even longtime friends weren’t fully aware of what was happening.”

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to reports of a “person down” at Diane’s residence around 8am on Saturday. The Godfather actress had been transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance where she was later pronounced dead.

After the news emerged, American filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola, who knew the charismatic performer, said: “Words can’t express the wonder and talent of Diane Keaton. Endlessly intelligent, so beautiful.

“From her earliest performances in ‘Hair’ and throughout her amazing career, she was an extraordinary actor. I saw her in the film ‘Lovers and Other Strangers’ and knew I had to have her play Kay in The Godfather, (which she told me she based on my wife Ellie) and her wonderful work in ‘Annie Hall’ while simultaneously setting a new fashion trend. Everything about Diane was creativity personified.”

Diane made her film debut in 1970’s Lovers And Other Strangers but shot to fame in 1972 after playing Kay, the girlfriend and then wife of Al Pacino’s Michael Corleone in Coppola’s The Godfather – a role which she reprised in 1974’s The Godfather Part II and 1990’s The Godfather Part III.

She went on to have a long career as a film actress, appearing in Father Of The Bride, The Family Stone, Something’s Gotta Give and The Book Club movies. Her final films were Summer Camp and Arthur’s Whisky in 2024, and it appears she had not started filming anything else.

Four-time Olympic champion Titmus retires at 25

Four-time Australian Olympic gold medallist Ariarne Titmus has announced she is retiring from swimming at the age of 25, saying “the time feels right to step away”.

“It’s a tough one [decision] but one that I’m really happy with”, she said on Instagram on Thursday, adding: “I’ve always loved swimming, it’s been my passion since I was a little girl.”

She took a break after last year’s Paris Olympics and “realised some things in my life that have always been important to me are just a little bit more important to me now than swimming”.

A two-time Olympic champion in the 400m freestyle, she triumphed in Tokyo in 2021 and in Paris last year. She also won 200m freestyle gold in Tokyo and was part of the Australia team that won the 4x200m freestyle relay in Paris.

Before the Paris Games, Titmus underwent surgery to remove an ovarian tumour, which she referred to in Thursday’s announcement, saying she had faced health challenges which “really rocked me mentally”.

After 18 years of swimming, and having just turned 25, “the time feels right to step away from swimming”, she wrote in a letter to her seven-year-old self that she shared on Instagram.

“The pursuit was unrelenting and you gave it every skerrick of yourself. You walk away knowing every stone was turned, no regrets. You’re fulfilled, content and happy.”

American swimmer Katie Ledecky – a rival of Titmus and who the Australian beat to win the 400m freestyle gold in Paris – responded to the announcement, saying Titmus was an “outstanding competitor, champion and person”.

Freddie Flintoff’s son, 2, wouldn’t go near him after horror Top Gear crash

Freddie Flintoff was injured in the crash which happened at Dunsfold Aerodrome near Cranleigh in Surrey, where the former cricketer had been filming for BBC One’s Top Gear

Freddie Flintoff has told how his two-year-old son wouldn’t go near him after his horror Top Gear crash.

The former professional cricketer, 47, said he became “a snappy mess” following the smash which happened during filming for the BBC One programme at Dunsfold Aerodrome near Cranleigh, Surrey. The three-wheeled Morgan supercar overturned on the track and Freddie, who played cricket for England for 11 years, dragged his face along the ground, cutting open the side of his nose, cheek and lips, and shattering his jawbone and teeth.

But he has spoken this week of how traumatic the mental injuries were, revealing for the first time how the ordeal impacted his children. Freddie, who had PTSD following the accident, said: “(After the crash) I would get snappy and angry.

“The kids were incredible… It was the younger one, Preston, because he would have been about two, two and a half, at the time and he wouldn’t come near me to begin with because I was a mess.”

Top Gear was shelved following the crash, and Freddie reportedly received £9m in compensation from BBC Studios, who make the show. Yet, the star has spoken since at how the experience changed his life, including how he wouldn’t leave his home – except for medical appointments – for six to eight months in the wake of it.

But the former fast bowler, a Lancashire Cricket Club legend, has now said he is on the road to recovery, to a great extent thanks to wife Rachael Wools, whom he wed in March 2005.

Speaking on Piers Morgan Uncensored, Freddie said: “I have flashbacks and nightmares, but I’ve probably got more of an acceptance of them now.

“I suppose that the biggest thing it did do, was brought me back to cricket. Family and friends and cricket have been things that now, have probably helped me more than anything. It’s all good now. But Rachael was strong. I suppose she had to be for both of us.”

Freddie, originally from Preston, Lancashire, has returned to TV work in recent months too. A second series of Freddie’s Field of Dreams – in which he creates a brand-new cricket team with a group of promising teens and inspires a fresh generation – aired on the BBC in 2024. The BBC has given the green light for a third series, it is understood.

And the dad was chosen to front the revival of game show Bullseye, which returned as a trial on Christmas Day last year on ITV. It became so popular ITV commissioned Bullseye for a full series, which is set to broadcast before the year is out.

Chelsea’s Thompson ‘a real bright spark’ but best ‘still to come’

Getty Images

Chelsea’s dominant victory over Paris FC was lit up by the newest member of their attack, Alyssa Thompson, who traversed the Stamford Bridge pitch with agile runs and eventually got the rewards her efforts deserved.

Thompson may be just 20 years old, but her arrival at Chelsea was accompanied by lofty expectations arising from the club record price tag. Now, in her seventh appearance, she has finally got off the mark.

She darted down the wings and led her side’s counter-attacks, showing expert positioning to put herself in the right place to be able to set up Johanna Rytting Kaneryd’s goal, and tapped home an excellent Keira Walsh delivery to get her first goal for the club.

It was an impressive display, but, says manager Sonia Bompastor, the best of her is still to come.

“A young player, a lot of talent, but I think we haven’t seen yet the best of her, but hopefully we will see that soon,” said Bompastor.

“She is coming from abroad, she speaks the language, which helps, but again, it’s a new environment, a new club, she needs to learn to connect with new players on the pitch, new team-mates, so hopefully, even sooner, we will see an even better version.”

Thompson’s first goal is one which will put her at “ease”, says Brighton forward Fran Kirby, who previously spent nine years at Chelsea.

Former Scotland captain Rachel Corsie added that now Thompson has scored, she imagines the “floodgates will open”.

“She’s been a real bright spark,” Kirby said on BBC Radio 5 Live. “I think against Tottenham she looked really sharp, it was probably that final product.

Of her six appearances in all competitions for Bompastor’s side before Wednesday, half had come as a substitute.

While she had not previously been involved in any goals, Thompson had already displayed her talents by creating chances, coming close to scoring herself, and drawing a red card after West Ham defender Ines Belloumou pulled her hair during her first start.

Corsie said Thompson played as if she “was not feeling” any pressure against Paris and was “very lively”.

“She’s willing to learn. I think she’s done an exceptional job to get in the team and play as many minutes as she has.

“There is an adjustment when you move, and when you move for that amount of money, there’s an expectation you’ll hit the ground running.”

Thompson, meanwhile, said she feels she is starting to build “rhythm” with her new club.

‘Players needed time to recover from Euros’

While Chelsea are unbeaten, much of their start to the season has been somewhat unconvincing.

They were held to a draw by Twente in their opening Champions League match last week, drew with Manchester United in the league and other victories – including their 1-0 success against Tottenham at the weekend – have come by slender margins.

Thompson said they played “more as a team than individuals” in their dominant Champions League victory.

“After the last few games we really came together and wanted to celebrate each other more and be more positive on the field and have more togetherness,” she added.

“Now we are working more as a team rather than individuals and we are going to continue that going forward, and carrying a positive vibe through. “

Asked about her side’s recent dip in form, Bompastor attributed some of it to the lack of time her players have had to recover since Euro 2025.

There were just 40 days between the final and the opening match of the Women’s Super League season.

She said they way they have performed over their last two games, following back-to-back draws, is a “perfect way to finish” before the international break.

“I have a lot of players who went so far in the tournament, in the Euros, so mentally and physically, when you come back to the club, it doesn’t come just like this. You also need time for them to recover from that tournament.

‘We are building better performances’

A key part of Chelsea’s success against Paris was the magnitude of their victory, with it being the second time this season they have scored four or more goals.

In each of their previous three games going into the match against the French side, they had been unable to score more than one.

Midfielder Erin Cuthbert, who netted against Paris, said they had been told to “finish their chances” going into Wednesday’s match.

Captain Millie Bright added that she felt Chelsea “got their mojo back” in their performance against Paris.

“At the weekend we didn’t really finish our chances,” Cuthbert told Disney+. “We had a lot of chances on goal and did not finish them. Even tonight there were times where we could be more clinical but we are definitely building better performances the last week or so.

“I think for us it is just about building. It’s the group stages, it’s still early on. We had a really disappointing result matchday one but we want more and we need to do more.”

Corsie, speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, said she felt Chelsea played as if they wanted to prove a point to their doubters.

“It was the sort of display that was indicative of a team that feels a few people have been criticising their performances, and I think they wanted to set that straight. Four brilliant goals, four brilliant scorers,” she said.
