Orlando Bloom may be dealing with turmoil in his personal life, but the actor showed he was still in good spirits as he sang along to Mancunian Britpop stars Oasis

Orlando Bloom seemed to be in good spirits despite his relationship with Katy Perry coming to an end. The actor and singer confirmed their split earlier this month as they entered a “new relationship dynamic”.
However, despite the breakdown of their coupling, it appears that the actor is still keeping his spirits high. Taking to his Instagram Stories, the star was seen on a boat at sea.
He was singing along to Oasis’ song Live Forever as the waves were seen in the background. As he tagged the Britpop band in the upload, Orlando broke from his sing-along to say: “It’s gonna be karaoke all night,” before he flashed a smile at the camera.

It comes at Noel and Liam Gallagher get ready for the second night of the Manchester leg of their epic reunion tour. The first night saw a star-studded audience join them at Heaton Park, with football stars Jack Grealish and Pep Guardiola in the VIP section.
It remains unknown if Orlando will attend any of the Oasis gigs as he is clearly a fan. What was confirmed, though, was the ending of Orlando and Katy’s relationship after nine years.
The decision to call it quits comes six years after the Pirates of The Caribbean actor popped the question. The pair’s representatives said: “Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting.
“They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is – and always will be – raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect.”

An insider had previously said before the official announcement that they had agreed on an amicable split: “Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable,” a source said.
“It’s not contentious at the moment. Katy is, of course, upset but is relieved not to have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life.”
There were initial hints of trouble on Orlando’s Instagram stories on July 2. At the time, he shared a poignant message from Carl Gustav Jung which read: “Loneliness does not come from having no people about one, but from being unable to communicate the things that seem important to oneself.”
The post came days after he had also quoted Buddha on the platform: “Each day is a new beginning,” he posted. “What we do today is what matters most.”
Following the couple’s engagement, they welcomed their daughter to the world. In 2020, they celebrated the arrival of Daisy Dove. The pair’s split also comes as Katy announced her departure from American Idol after a seven-season stint. She is said to have instead shifted focus to her upcoming tunes.

EXCLUSIVE: BBC bosses are bringing back the game show Hole In The Wall after a successful pilot and have drafted in This Morning star Alison Hammond to present the reboot
BBC bosses are bringing back the game show Hole In The Wall
BBC game show Hole In The Wall will be returning for a new series fronted by Alison Hammond. The Beeb has given it the green light after a successful pilot, we can reveal. Previously hosted by Dale Winton, with Strictly Come Dancing star Anton Du Beke later taking over, Alison has been drafted in to present the reboot. It originally aired from 2008 to 2009 and featured celebrities trying to fit through moving wall cut-outs to avoid being pushed into a pool of water. This Morning and Great British Bake Off star Alison, 50, impressed in the pilot. A source said: “Alison made a splash in the pilot so it was a no-brainer for bosses. “It’s the perfect fit for her. It’s fun, exciting and doesn’t take itself too seriously – just like Alison.”
Alison is the face of new BBC show
It will be filmed later this year and air in 2026. Hole In The Wall is based on a Japanese format and sees shiny lycra-clad celebrities try to squeeze through odd-shaped holes in a moving wall. The wall is activated by the presenter shouting: “Bring on the wall!” Each week, two teams of television personalities competed for £10,000 in prize money to be donated to their chosen charity. It’s the latest telly job for in demand star Alison. She became the new face of For the Love of Dogs following the death of Paul O’Grady and currently presents ITV ’s This Morning on a Friday with co-host Dermot O’Leary. She is also a team captain on Rob Beckett’s Smart TV for Sky. Alison is fast becoming the BBC’s golden girl with a number of shows on the channel. Earlier this year her new travel series: Florida Unpacked, went out on BBC Two. It saw her travel the US state with son Aidan, 20. She also fronted her own celebrity interview show, Alison Hammond’s Big Weekend, which saw her get under the skin of well known names like Lenny Henry, Little Mix ’s Perrie Edwards and Spice Girl Mel B.
This comes after Alison and her son Aidan made their debut on Celebrity Gogglebox last week, a few months after he revealed some heartbreaking details about his childhood. The 20-year-old DJ recalled he used to run away from home and seek solace at his nan’s house when things at home with his mum Alison, 50, got too much.
Alison and her ex-partner – Noureddine Boufaied, a taxi driver from Manchester – separated in 2014, when Aidan was nine, and the youngster spent most of his time living with his telly star mum in Birmingham. The mother-and-son duo now enjoy a close bond – and have worked together on BBC travelogue Alison Hammond ’s Florida Unpacked and now Channel 4 ’s Celebrity Gogglebox.
Earlier this year, Aidan revealed how much he and his mum benefited from having his maternal grandma, Maria, living close by, especially when things were difficult at home.

“She had a house pretty much opposite us, so we could literally leave and run across the road,” he said. “So when my mum was doing my head in, I’d just go to my nan’s.”

A few weeks after her death, Alison wrote a moving tribute on her Instagram page, which said, “Thank you, Mummy, for giving me the strength to move forward in the knowledge that you’re OK and with God in Heaven now. I will always remember you and try and make you proud. I love you, Mum.”
Aidan described himself, his mum and his nan as “a little trio”, and said they “were very close all the time”. While Alison is now loved-up with Russian massage therapist David Putman, some 20 years her junior, she has previously admitted she felt like she had “failed” when she broke up with Aidan’s father.

Two Oasis fans decided to head to Heaton Park straight after saying “I do,” wearing their wedding outfits. 80,000 fans headed to the local park in Prestwich for the first of Liam and Noel Gallagher’s five-night residency in their hometown, marking their first performances in Manchester since 2009.
But despite having tickets for the event, one couple decided to add an extra touch to their day and got married just hours before heading to Manchester. Kim and Gareth Gladman secured tickets last year, thanks to Gareth’s dad, who waited in the agonising online virtual queues.
The couple said getting tickets would be the best day of their lives, but after a cheeky comment from Kim, their day got off to an even better start. Despite the scorching temperatures, with the weather reaching 30 degrees, Kim and Gareth decided to head straight from Leeds to Heaton Park in their wedding clothing.

“I had thought about getting changed but I really like what I’ve got on,” Kim said, before adding: “I thought what’s the point so I’m just going to keep it on – if it gets mucky, it gets mucky, I’m not going to wear it again.” Speaking to BBC Radio Manchester, Gareth said: “It’s been part of my life forever, so this couldn’t be any more perfect today – get married and see them live. Brilliant.”
For their big day, Kim, who is a dressmaker, designed a special denim jacket with lyrics from the Oasis hit, Live Forever, on the back. Ahead of their wedding, Gareth told the Manchester Evening News: “When I first met Kim, the very first conversation we had was about how, if Oasis ever stopped messing around and actually got back together, it wouldn’t matter what it cost or where in the world it was, we had to get tickets.

“I was too young and didn’t have the money to see them the first time around. So when they made the announcement back in August 2024 that they were reuniting, we knew it was important. We were lucky to even get tickets during the impossible Ticketmaster scramble.
“A few weeks later, as we were getting ready for work one morning, Kim casually said, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if we got married before we went to Manchester?’ Just like that, off the cuff, but it stuck.” The couple instantly saw that their local registry office had the perfect date, which was free – July 12, the day of their Oasis gig.

Gareth commented: “I booked it straight away, walked downstairs and I told Kim, ‘check your e-mail, we’re getting married.'” The pair will be joined by 80,000 Oasis fans at tonight’s Heaton Park. But it’s not just Kim and Gareth who are feeling the love at the Oasis gigs. On Friday, one couple got engaged mid-concert, leaving everybody around them overcome with emotion.
While Noel and Liam belted out Slide Away, one man got down on one knee, leaving his now fiancée in a state of disbelief as he presented a ring to his partner. The couple were both seen wearing blue Oasis t-shirts in the video, appeared to then kiss before hugging. Other fans are seen celebrating, including cheering and clapping, whilst surrounding the pair after the proposal last night.
After the adorable moment was shared on social media, one fan said: “She definitely maybe said YES!!!! Congrats guys.” Another responded to the video: “This is how much brings people together and makes memories last forever.”
