Fans were more drawn to Paul Mescal, the co-star of Normal People, than to her. Some fans had hoped the pair might develop a romantic chemistry despite the pair’s longstanding friendship.

Someone once said, “Paul andamp; Daisy always have the biggest smile when they’re together.”

One fan responded, “This is just a picture,” saying that the pair’s association didn’t actually mean anything.

The two have exchanged several details about their relationship. Daisy claims to be one of her “lifetime best friends,” and that she loves him platonically because they have always maintained that they are close friends.

Find out what’s written in the stars with our astrologer Russell Grant(Image: Daily Record/GettyImages)

One star sign is advised to follow a friend’s advice on Saturday, May 24, and another has money in her head.

There are 12 zodiac signs – Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces – and the horoscopes for each can give you the lowdown on what your future holds, be it in work, your love life, your friends and family or more.

These daily forecasts have been compiled by astrologer Russell Grant, who has been reading star signs for over 50 years. From Aries through to Pisces, here’s what today could bring for your horoscope – and what you can do to be prepared.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)

Take notes of all expenses and items in a more organized way of managing finances. It’s impossible to avoid financial ruin if you try to keep track of everything in your head. Everyone who supports you has a vibrant social life. Friendship-building activities are enjoyable.

Taurus (Apr 21 – May 21)

By allowing yourself opportunities that might take you beyond your prior experiences, you will be making a decision in a positive direction. You may have a chance to improve your career situation, which might be unexpected. Be watchful.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21)

Starting a new group project can be nerve-wracking, especially when working with people you don’t know well. You won’t be the only person who is self-conscious. Although some people may have doubts, they will feel more at ease in one another’s company as they get older.

Cancer (June 22 – July 23)

You have a topic to discuss, and you won’t give up until others start commenting. Although you may not be as assertive as many people would consider you to be pushy, you still have some things you want to resolve before the day is up.

Leo (July 24 – Aug 23)

It’s a wonderful day for building relationships and establishing relationships with others. As long as the atmosphere is lighthearted. You won’t be in the mood to talk to a coworker or older relative about something serious, though. Don’t let your critics’ negative comments deter you.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sept 23)

You’re feeling very generous, but be cautious because you could end up spending money on expensive goods. Some additional income might be generated by new responsibilities at work. Although this may just be a temporary boost, it will undoubtedly help you improve your financial situation.

Libra (Sept 24 – Oct 23)

You might dislike it when someone new joins your circle because you feel so at ease in a group. Give this newcomer a warm welcome instead of excluding them. You might discover that you and each other are similar in many ways.

Scorpio (Oct 24 – Nov 22)

You don’t want to give up on time on tedious tasks. You’re going through a lucky phase, and something is telling you to take advantage of it. You might decide to start fresh projects you’ve always wanted to work on but never had the chance to finish.

Sagittarius (Nov 23 – Dec 21)

A reserved friend or partner will counsel you against entering an angelic territory. Although you might object to their interference, they genuinely care about your well-being. You can’t expect them to be there for you when you might need them in the future if you don’t listen.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 20)

Take it easy with your caretakers and younger relatives. You have a strong sense of responsibility, and you may also allow others to find their own way, which is good. In the long run, criticism will work, but encouragement will have a much bigger impact.

Aquarius (Jan 21 – Feb 19)

A friend or coworker’s memory is struggling. They won’t acknowledge it despite how hard you try to remind them of something they previously mentioned. They might not want to do it, perhaps. Don’t give up, because you might just be able to get them out by this evening.

Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)

In all discussions and agreements, money is the main consideration. You might find yourself dealing with significant losses if you don’t want to make the right choices. Your chances of getting a better pay and more resources to work with will increase as a result of a job offer or promotion. Your home’s value will increase when you upgrade your kitchen or bathroom.
