Katie Price has shared a gorgeous photo of herself and her son Harvey cuddling in bed before his 23rd birthday celebrations. The former glamour model, 47, took to her Instagram stories on Bank Holiday Monday to share her excitement about Harvey turning another year older.

As they relaxed on Bank Holiday Monday and relaxed at home, Katie and her first-born son, who she welcomed with ex-partner Dwight Yorke, were laying face-to-face in bed. With the phrase “Bank Holiday cuddles before lots of celebrations tomorrow,” Katie expressed her excitement for Harvey’s big day.

It comes after Katie revealed that her eldest son’s weight has a dangerous tipping point and that he is facing a growing health crisis. The soon-to-be 22-year-old is 30 stone and is now seriously at risk of having a heart attack, which has left Katie feeling both enthralled and concerned for his future.

The mum-of-five made a point about their situation when she spoke openly on her podcast, which she co-hosted with her sister Sophie. She said, “He’s just under 30st, which is incredible.” He is in danger of having a heart attack. If he continues to put on weight, he won’t live long.

Katie mentioned that the two organizations are now collaborating closely with medical professionals to change things. She continued, “We’re doing something about it with the doctors,” noting that they are still waiting to start receiving treatment with Mounjaro, a weight-loss medication.

However, Harvey’s complicated medical requirements and current prescriptions have made it challenging to advance quickly. Things aren’t as simple for him because of his complex needs and medications, she admitted.

Katie continues to be in stead of her love and admiration for Harvey despite the fear and difficulties. She sincerely said, “I love my Harvey Price.” Harvey is a hard work, even if I would like to call it that. It is very satisfying.

Looking to the future with hope, she added: “I can’t imagine Harvey in two years when he’s started Mounjaro and has lost a lot of weight.” Over the weekend, Katie her heartbreak over the fact her eldest child, Harvey, has seen his weight increase to dangerous levels.

Dwight, 53, brutally rejected Katie and his son after their romance in the early 1990s, and Katie had him when she was pregnant with him. With first husband Peter Andre, 52, Katie welcomed son Junior, 19, and daughter Princess, 17, respectively.

She is also mum to son Jett, 11, and daughter Bunny, 10, who she shares with former husband Kieran Hayler, 38 – who was the third Mr Price from 2013 until 2021. Throughout his life, Harvey has battled health issues – including a condition called Prader-Willi syndrome, which provokes a constant feeling of hunger.

Katie has been trying to help Harvey lose weight as she fears he has reached a danger level of overweight – but has been left saddened by the results of a recent weigh-in. Taking to social media over the weekend, Katie shared that Harvey is now almost 30 stone.

The OnlyFans content creator said, “I’m so heartbroken and gutted that his weight is just going up,” in a statement made on Snapchat. I recently googled it in stone, and 188 kg is only a few kilograms shy of being 30. I’m still waiting for the doctors to start treating me after I start the mounjaro’s journey to a healthy life because it’s so life-threatening right now.

She continued, “It’s so sad that his quality of life is so poor right now because he can’t really do much.” I love him and I’m going to help him through this because he’s at high risk of having a heart attack, he struggles to put his trainers on, or he struggles to walk anywhere.

She continued, “She’s so sad, obesity and his condition is sad, and he doesn’t understand it.” In an effort to help Harvey control his weight, Katie revealed earlier this year that she had turned to weight-loss jabs. She made reference to the drug Mounjaro, which has a compound known to help people lose weight called tirzepatide.

Harvey’s weight and health issues are addressed by Katie’s previous statement to The Sun: “If it has any effect, you can stop it because you do it weekly.

He has had dietitians, and we have tried food, he said. Additionally, he is receiving a lot of medication that won’t hurt him. They will determine his level of need and progress as they go about it for at least one or two years, which is a long time.

CBN Act: Court Fixes July 4 For Judgment On NIBSS’ BVN Database Mangt Suit

The Bank Verification Number (BVN) database management by Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System Plc (NIBSS), according to Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja, is alleged to be compliant with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Act and other applicable banking laws.

After listening to both parties, including Kofo Abdulsalam-Alada and representatives of NIBSS and the Central Bank of Nigeria, the judge decided on the date.

Ige, the NIBSS attorney, pleaded with the court to support his client’s requests during the day’s proceedings.

Ige petitioned the court to rule that the NIBSS’s use of the BVN database is required to ensure Nigeria’s stability and security in his court filings.

According to him, the provisions of the Banks and Other Financial Institutions Act of 2017 and the Central Bank of Nigeria Act of 2007 and the apex financial system regulator have a bearing on the authority to issue directives on BVN development.

NCC Issues Alerts to Users About Significant Service Disruptions

He emphasized that Nigeria’s payment and settlement systems are governed by Section 47 (2) of the CBN Act.

In response to this, NIBSS was established along with all other Nigerian banks, he continued.

According to him, the CBN Act gives the apex bank the authority to promote a sound financial system.

He urged the court to take note of the fact that the BVN’s introduction in Nigeria aims to promote a sound financial system.

He continued, “The security of the deposits of the typical Nigerian or even non-Niger bank account holders in Nigeria is very important.”

In order to confirm that the plaintiff has the authority to maintain the BVN database in Nigeria, the counsel addressed the court’s need for consideration of the BVN framework and its operation by NIBSS.

Justice Omotosho held the case until July 4 after hearing the lawyers’ arguments.

In order to stop any institution from challenging its statutory authority to maintain and manage the BVN database, NIBSS joined the Incorporated Trustees of Digital Rights Lawyers Initiative, the CBN, and the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) as first defendants through its originating procedures.

Reliefs sought

According to the Banks and Other Financial Institutions Act of 2007 and the revised Regulatory Framework for the Bank Verification Number (BVN) Operations and Watchlist for the Nigerian Banking Industry 2021, NIBSS requests that it be formally empowered to maintain and manage the BVN database.

It also requests: “A declaration that the plaintiff’s maintenance and management of the Bank Verification Number (BVN) data of Nigerians does not violate any existing laws in Nigeria, including their constitutional right to privacy.

The plaintiff’s legal representative (Digital Rights Lawyers Initiative) and any other person, person, or institution may contest the plaintiff’s statutory authority to maintain and manage the BVN database, whether directly or indirectly through their agents, officers, employees, privies, or any other person acting under their control.

The plaintiff (NIBSS) is charged with developing, regulating, and establishing an integrated, nationwide network for electronic and paperless payments, funds transfers, and transactions settled in accordance with the aforementioned laws and statutes, according to the senior lawyer.

Gary Lineker’s BBC salary, love life and unusual set-up with model ex-wife

Gary Lineker has left BBC’s Match of the Day and has had a successful career as a footballer and broadcaster. His personal life has also been equally turbulent.

Gary Lineker, who cried before leaving his mark on Match of the Day on Sunday, hasn’t shied from disclosing his romantic past.

Despite schedules to cover the FA Cup and World Cup of the following summer, the sports TV presenter, 64, confirmed that his final appearance on BBC’s Match of the Day after 26 years in the spotlight would occur sooner than expected. After Gary was met with backlash for sharing and then deleting a pro-Palestine video featuring an “antisemitic” rat emoji, the abrupt exit occurred.

Despite this, Gary has been one of the most recognisable faces on television thanks to his hugely successful football career and role as a pundit. But it’s not just his career that has made headlines, as he’s notably gone through two public divorces, has spoken about one unusual set-up and has earned a whopping amount from his time with the BBC.

Impressive wealth

Gary won 80 caps for England, making him one of the most recognizable footballers of his time, playing for Leicester, Everton, Spurs, and Barcelona. Given that he hung up his boots before the Premier League’s financial collapse, his main source of income is still his illustrious football career.

He first joined the BBC’s Premier League highlights programme in 1999 when he took over from Des Lynam and has been part of some of the show’s most unforgettable moments. In addition to his longstanding role with the BBC, the 63 year old has also been associated with TNT Sports and is well-known for leading promotional campaigns for brands such as Walkers crisps.

Gary is reportedly worth around $30 million. His eye-watering wealth is significantly bolstered by his sizable BBC earnings, which the broadcaster disclosed in its annual salary report that Gary made between £1,300, 000 and £1,354, 999 in 2023/24.

Gary had offered to take a substantial pay cut of about £350, 000 to remain on MOTD despite already being the BBC’s top earner for the previous seven years, but he is now set to step down.

Love life

The former England goalkeeper married twice and had four children with Michelle Cockayne, his first wife, in 1986 before getting divorced 20 years later.

The actress and her boyfriend Danielle Bux married in Italy in 2007 after dating her for 20 years. However, their six-year union was terminated shortly after their split, according to reports that the two had different perspectives on starting a family.

Gary stated in 2019 that, despite texting constantly, Diane and I still communicate best. She stays with me when she travels to London, and I see her when I travel to LA.

Gary has openly discussed his dating life and is still thought to be single. He admitted that he was in a decline in his testosterone levels when he claimed he was no longer interested in intimacy. He has stated more recently that he doesn’t miss getting married and that his sons and work life make up the majority of his time.

In an interview with The Times, Gary said: “I like being on my own… I don’t feel lonely. I have the odd date here and there, but nothing, not in terms of a long relationship. I’ve been married most of my adult life. Two really good marriages, I’m friends with both.”

Unusual setup

The pundit described his second wife Danielle as his ‘best mate’ and refused to comment on his sex life. He insisted: “I am still single. I am not going down that route! I have been there before and tried to explain myself and I got slaughtered by my friends.” Gary also denied ever using dating apps and refused to let his sons set up an online profile for him.

She later wed American entertainment lawyer Nate Greenwald after Gary and Danielle split, and the couple welcomed their now four-year-old daughter Romy. The exes continue to live together with their families, though.

Back in Christmas 2023, Danielle posted a photo with Gary alongside her eldest daughter Ella, whom she shares with a former partner Adam Willis. She captioned the photo “Our annual Christmas dinner”, and Gary shared the picture with the comment, “Always a delight”.

The sports presenter previously explained how Danielle’s current husband never becomes “jealous” of their relationship, and how he keeps in touch with his ex.

“He’s not got a jealous bone in his body,” Gary said to the Radio Times. “We get on really well. We go out for dinner when I’m in LA. It might be unusual and people might go, ‘That’s weird’ but, frankly, I don’t care. What is normal? Is it better to get divorced and end up fighting, screaming and shouting? Or is it better to get on if you can?”

Alcaraz ‘expected worse’ at start of French Open title defence

Images courtesy of Getty

French Open 2025

Location: Roland Garros, May 25 – June

After winning the French Open title for the first time in straight sets, Carlos Alcaraz claimed that he “expected a worse level” from himself.

In just one hour and 56 minutes, the four-time major champion from Spain won 6-3, 6-4, and 6-2 over Giulio Zeppieri, who is also a qualifier from Italy.

The 22-year-old wants to win the Roland Garros title for the first time since Rafael Nadal in 2020.

Alcaraz said he did not anticipate such a smooth start to his campaign despite winning 27 of his 29 clay matches since May of last year.

World No. 2 Alcaraz remarked, “I expected a worse level for me, honestly.”

It’s difficult to adapt and get used to the conditions in the first round of a tournament.

In the lead-up to the French Open, Alcaraz won titles in Monte Carlo and Rome, and he came in second place behind Holger Rune in Barcelona, his only defeat in 16 clay-court contests in 2025.

However, those performances came after David Goffin’s unexpected Miami Open defeat in March. With his only success this year on the courts, he won the Rotterdam Open.

Alcaraz compared his current form to Alcaraz’, “We all know the roller coaster that has been this year for me, making really good results before losing the first round.”

“But I believe I’ve found a really good path once more,” she said. I believe I’m just starting to get it as more people get ready for the games.

I believe I’m just maintaining the high standard throughout the entire match and the entire tournament once I begin the matches.
