After 17 years making his professional debut for the club, Saracens legend Alex Goode announced that he would retire at the end of the current season with “no regrets.”

The 37-year-old, who has won six Premiership titles, made 400 appearances for Sarries earlier this month.

In the second of those finals, he scored a try to help the team win the European Champions Cups in 2016, 2017, and 2019.

Goode also made 21 appearances for England, joining Stuart Lancaster’s World Cup squad in 2015.

Nothing can prepare you for this overwhelming moment, he told the club website.

Never in my wildest dreams did I believe I would have the honor of representing this club over 400 times and representing my country.

An unreal journey

Goode’s other accomplishments include being named 2019 European Player of the Year.

You are the heart of the club, according to him, and I can’t thank you enough for your time and effort. “I want to thank you to the coaches and all the backroom staff,” he said.

It’s been an unreal ride, and I’ll carry those memories and bonds with me forever, to my team-mates, past and present.

You have stood by us with unwavering faith through all of our glory and suffering. You’ll never understand how hearty roared on my 400th game to hear those expressions.

I leave the field in gratitude for everything I have done. My blood will always be saracens.

There are few words that can adequately describe the impact someone like Alex Goode has had on the game of rugby as a whole, according to director of rugby Mark McCall.

“He will undoubtedly go down as one of the most prosperous players in the professional era.”

Goodey will always be remembered as a great team player who gave everything in his power to support his teammates. His wisdom and guidance have been very helpful to our younger players.

Maura Higgins wasted no time in celebrating her closest friend Molly-Mae Hague’s birthday on Monday with a heartfelt social media tribute. The 34-year-old Irish TV personality flooded her Instagram Story with a collection of touching photos capturing moments shared with Molly-Mae, who turned 26.

Maura wrote, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY, my special girl.” “Love you millions and amp; forever proud of the woman you are,” he said. Images from Molly-Mae’s Amazon Prime show premiere, Behind It All, and other glitzy moments from the YouTuber’s 2021 PrettyLittleThing launch event were displayed in the gallery. The pair were seen together walking hand-in-hand through Paris’s streets during a memorable girls’ getaway, which was particularly sweet. A playful, humorous selfie that highlighted their close friendship also appeared on the other end.

Their friendship dates back to 2019, when the pair first crossed paths on Love Island, both vying for the attention of boxer Tommy Fury. Ultimately, Tommy chose Molly-Mae, and the couple now share a two-year-old daughter named Bambi.

It comes as Molly-Mae pulled out all the stops ahead of her birthday on the weekend. The multi-millionaire, who turned 26 today, treated her pals and her daughter, Bambi, two, to a lavish trip to Disneyland Paris, where no expense was spared.

Sharing snaps from the special occasion, the mum-of-one told her fans the mother and daughter duo had made magical memories in the French capital, which started when they hopped onboard a swanky private jet as they jetted off from the UK.

The “ultimate influencer” styled off the celebrations by sharing a photo of Bambi sitting next to a huge cream cake and several cut-outs of Molly-Mae sporting Disney ears. Then, along with a laughing emoji, she posted a photo of Bambi on a carousel in Disneyland with the caption “Mummy, I want to go on my own horse.”

The group then enjoyed crepes before heading off to the Magic Kingdom as Molly-Mae shared a photo of herself hugging her pal with the caption “Eyes red from hayfever and exhaustion, but what a day”!

Then, she shared a photo of Bambi and her pal getting ready for bed, telling everyone else that their birthday was “the most perfect day ever.”

Following her recent trip to Dubai with Tommy and Bambi earlier this month, Molly Mae is in Following her heels in Paris. Unfortunately, the Love Islander’s revelation that she ended up in a hospital after experiencing “excruciating pain” hindered that trip.

She said in her most recent YouTube vlog that she thought she had a blood clot after skipping a lot on the way home and in the hours that followed. Molly-Mae claimed she needed help because she was in pain and had a swollen leg, among other symptoms.

She updated her devoted followers on her health by saying, “My first A&amp, E experience was last night, guys. It was incredibly strange. She claimed that she had never been to A&amp, E before and that her most recent visit was “the weirdest experience.”

“I thought I had a blood clot, and half-way through today I thought my leg had a blood clot.” I was obviously on the plane for almost 8 hours when I was returning from Dubai, and I probably shouldn’t have. They say you must keep your legs moving and keep walking on long flights, without question. I hardly ever drink water, which is what I did.

In the middle of the agonizing call, Molly-Mae claimed to have called NHS 111 and that she had told the operator that her leg was “lightly swollen” and “hot” in the middle of the discomfort. She claimed to have received a doctor’s advice to “go straight to A&amp, E.”

However, after “waiting for hours,” she made the decision to leave before finally getting some sleep, where she was both relieved and somewhat relieved of the pain.

England win again but Sciver-Brunt unlikely to bowl this summer

Nat Sciver-Brunt, England’s captain, is unlikely to start this summer, according to Charlotte Edwards, head coach.

Sciver-Brunt, 32, an all-rounder, has been recovering from a long-standing Achilles injury that got worse when England were thrashing by Australia in the Women’s Ashes at the start of the year.

After that, she had a lengthy period of rehabilitation, which coincided with her maternity leave, and she later played a leading role in Mumbai Indians’ Women’s Premier League victory.

After England completed her and Sciver-Brunt’s reign with a comprehensive T20 series clean sweep against West Indies, Edwards stated, “I think these games are really big for us.”

“We have nine games before the World Cup begins, so a lot of it depends on us getting the right team balance,” he said.

Nat won’t bowl this series, and she probably won’t for the most part over the summer. We want to ensure that she is ready for the World Cup.

“Her duties will begin soon,” she said. We’re certain we’ve got that balance if and when Nat returns, because it gives her the opportunity to consider other options.

Three one-day international matches between England and West Indies will begin at Derby on Friday, followed by a T20 and an ODI series against India in June and July.

Em Arlott, who made her international debut in the first match at Canterbury, and Issy Wong, who had been out of the side for a while following a brief break in form, were also praised by Edwards.

After suffering a knee problem, Sophie Ecclestone, the world’s number one bowler, was pulled from the side to recover. However, Linsey Smith, her fellow left-arm spinner, also did well, taking three wickets for a 4.83 economy over the course of three games.

Em Arlott has shown us how good she has been in domestic cricket, but to come here and feel at ease in international cricket in her first few games is really nice, said Edwards.

And Sophie Ecclestone and Linsey Smith have both performed well, which makes them unlikely to be friends. You can only take her one chance by allowing her to take it with both hands.

You can see the competition forming, says Lauren Bell, who was unbelievable today. It’s a fascinating time.

Liam Payne’s ex Kate Cassidy shares new ‘sign’ from late star after tragic death

Following the tragic passing of One Direction singer Liam Payne in Argentina last year, Kate Cassidy has posted a new “sign” from her late ex-boyfriend Liam Payne on social media.

Liam Payne’s grieving ex-girlfriend Kate Cassidy has shared the latest ‘sign’ from the late singer following his tragic death last year. The One Direction singer died at the age of 31 after falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina in October 2024.

Now, Kate has taken to social media to share what she considered to be a message from Liam months on from his death. The star shared a screenshot of the 4,444 shares on one of her social media posts, writing alongside it, “Hi Liam,” with a white heart emoji. Kate has previously spoken about how 444 was her and Liam’s angel number – a pattern of numbers that signifies a message of love and support.

Kate and Liam both believed in that particular angel number in her heartbreaking tribute to him at the time of his passing.

We spent a few weeks sat outside enjoying a beautiful evening of living together, she wrote. Even though you told me not to look at it, I keep your note close. Me and Kate are engaged and together forever, according to the statement, “444.”

“Liam, I know we’ll be together forever, but things didn’t go our way.” You’ll be there for me forever. My guardian angel has been given. We’ll be with you wherever I go for the rest of my life and the rest of my life. Forever yours, Katelyn 444. “

Earlier this month, court documents revealed that Liam’s ex Cheryl Tweedy had been granted power of administration of his estate after he died without writing a will. The star shares eight-year-old son Bear with Cheryl and left behind £24.3 million.

Kate Cassidy broke her social media silence shortly after it was revealed that Liam had left behind £28,595,000, but that Kate would not inherit anything. She posted a light-hearted post just hours afterwards, sharing a snap revealing her bag’s contents – a Starbucks snack and hair extensions.

Meanwhile, friends of Cheryl revealed that she “will do the right thing” by Bear, who is set to inherit his father’s fortune. “It is a small consolation that Bear will never want for anything, that he will at least benefit from that. Liam had some very sensible people around him for a time and he adored Bear so much. He always wanted to do the right thing by him financially,” a source close to Liam told Mail Online.
