A huge football star at his wedding admitted to snobbing Fatboy Slim “full on the face.”

Ronaldo, a Brazilian football player, had a special relationship with Norman Cook when the actor was playing DJ for his wedding a decade ago. The sports star hired the DJ for a performance in Paris in 2005.

The star was asked by the retired Real Madrid player to play at his nuptials in the French capital which was attended by a collection of well-known names including David Beckham and his wife Victoria Beckham.

Speaking at the launch of his new book It Ain’t Over… ‘Til The Fatboy Sings, he recalled: “It was in Paris. It was kind of weird. I don’t do many weddings but when Ronaldo – this is Brazilian fat Ronaldo, when he was playing at Real Madrid – phones you and says, ‘Will you DJ at my wedding? The Beckhams are going to be there.’

It ended up being like any other wedding, in my opinion. I was thinking, “Oh my god, I’ve probably forgotten the music they want to hear. Everyone looks so old, and no one really knows each other.”

The 62-year-old said he recalls the wedding antics but does not recall which songs he sang during his “drinking days,” but that the Big Beach Boutique II DVD, which was a huge hit in Brazil, would have been a significant part of his collection.
