Kim Kardashian’s daughter North has encouraged her to ‘move on’ from Kanye West

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter, North West, accused her of ‘pretending to be okay’ with her single status and encouraged her to get a new boyfriend

Kim Kardashian revealed her daughter has encouraged her to ‘move on’ from ex-husband Kanye West after noticing she was ‘pretending to be okay’. The 44-year-old socialite and Kanye, 48, tied the knot in 2014, but their marriage soon crumbled and she filed for divorce seven years later, citing irreconcilable differences..

The former couple, who share North, Saint, nine, Chicago, seven, and Psalm, six, went through many ups and downs over the years, with Ye hitting out at the mother of his children multiple times on social media. Kim has mainly remained silent on her family affairs, but recently broke her silence in an interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast.

Speaking to host Alex Cooper, Kim said her 12-year-old daughter encouraged her to get a boyfriend.

Kim said her daughter told her she was ‘pretending’ to be okay about being single and told her: “I think you go upstairs and cry at night.”

North reportedly also told her: “It’s time to move on. You need to have a boyfriend now.”

However, Kim insists she doesn’t want to be in another relationship, admitting: “I am single and I feel totally content. I have my kids to raise. I have a life that, like, requires a lot of my attention. And my kids just really need me right now.

“So I don’t know how I would fit something else in. So I’m just not looking.”

Kim touched upon her relationship issues with Kanye, revealing she was first attracted to him due to his intellect. However, their relationship very quickly became strained.

“When someone has like their first mental break, you want to be super supportive and you want to help figure that out and be there for them,” she explained.

“But when someone isn’t willing to make changes that I think would’ve been super healthy and beneficial, it makes it really hard to continue on in a relationship that can be toxic.”

Having children made it difficult for her to leave, and she stayed with the rapper, who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2016 but later claimed he was misdiagnosed, in hopes he would improve.

When things never improved, she decided to leave and show their kids a ‘good example of setting boundaries’.

“I had to save myself in order to be a better mum for everyone,” Kim admitted. “And I think when everyone’s older they’ll be able to understand it and see that all.”

When asked about what the ‘final straw’ was, she said: “There was just a lot of things that I wouldn’t deal with. I didn’t like the talking bad about my kids’ grandmother, aunts – if someone feels that way, then we shouldn’t be together. You know, airing out a lot of stuff, a lot of personal stuff.”

Former Sheffield Wednesday manager Danny Rohl has dropped out of the race to become Rangers’ new head coach.

The 36-year-old German becomes the second contender to withdraw from the process in five days after Steven Gerrard turned down the chance to become manager for a second time.

Rohl was understood to be a strong candidate to replace the sacked Russell Martin but has now told the Ibrox club he no longer wants to be considered.

However, Rangers sources suggest more than one person remains in contention for the job.

Rohl held positive talks with Rangers, but the club are taking their time to make the next appointment, even if it meant the German exiting the process.

Having coached at RB Leipzig, Southampton, Bayern Munich and been Germany’s assistant coach, Rohl was appointed by Sheffield Wednesday in October 2023, becoming the youngest manager in the English Football League.

He steered the club clear of relegation and they finished 12th the following season, but Rohl departed this summer amid the club’s ownership and financial issues.

The news that he had dropped out of contention for the Ibrox job came on the day when former Rangers midfielder Derek McInnes dismissed speculation linking him with the vacancy, saying he was concentrating on keeping Heart of Midlothian top of the Premiership.

Martin left Rangers after only 17 games in charge and his side sitting eighth in the table after just one win in six outings.

They also suffered a painful 9-1 aggregate defeat by Club Brugge in Champions League qualifying and have lost their opening two Europa League matches.

Nicki added: “So they keep wanting to take or stop my money simply b/c narcissists believe what you work hard for belongs to them. Fuming b/c they can’t siphon anymore energy, money, blessings, love, grace, joy, PEACE… the culture. No successful tours. Just vibes & payola. CasiNO.” [sic]

Despite it only being Cardi’s second studio album following her 2018 debut, Invasion of Privacy, her second became the best-performing album from a female rap act in history, which clearly angered Nicki.

After a lot of back and forth, they started dragging their children into the mess. Nicki issued an open letter to Cardi’s daughter, Kulture, and even referenced her appearance.

The Mirror have reached out to Jay-Z’s reps for comment.

‘We spent two hours at Countryfile star Adam Henson’s farm and were left surprised’

A day out at Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park left two YouTubers stunned and they soon shared their thoughts on the £11.95-a -day Gloucestershire family attraction

Adam Henson came close to losing his family farm in 2001 when the Foot and Mouth epidemic virtually destroyed his business. But the offer of a job on the BBC’s Countryfile helped save his bacon and, 25 years later, Cotswold Farm Park is a thriving business again.

It welcomes the public for up-close and personal encounters with the livestock as well as rearing the range of rare breeds that Adam’s father became famous for. However, not everyone’s happy, with one TripAdvisor reviewer complaining that she’s been “fleeced at every possible opportunity”.

So Izzy and Matt Stockwell from the Explore Home Repeat YouTube channel set out to discover whether Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park is a ripoff, or a great family day out.

In the end, Matt says, he was left “surprised” by some visitors’ negative reactions, saying that perhaps people had arrived with some serious misconceptions.

Matt and Izzy had timed their two-hour visit to coincide with lambing season – from February to May with a peak around March or April.

Reviewing the site map just inside the farm’s entrance, Matt said: “There’s loads of stuff around – you’ve got Tractor School, the Discovery Barn, an Animal Barn, and a huge great big area for all the animals.

“I can see donkeys, sheep, goats, pigs, cows and there looks to be a good selection of kids’ playgrounds as well so there’s tons to explore.”

The couple – along with baby Sienna – were lucky enough to see two brand new baby lambs which had been born only that morning.

The farm’s attractions are geared very much towards young primary-school age children, with giant trampoline-like “bouncy pillows” to play on as well as dozens of farm animals for the kids to feed and stroke.

There’s an educational element to the activities too, Matt points out, with “loads of information sort of going through the whole process of lambing – explaining the different stages and how they keep them in these pens”.

While the Stockwell family did manage to see the twin baby lambs, little Sienna was much more impressed with the pygmy goats in the Discovery Barn.

There’s a lot to do for young animal-lovers. “They’ve got areas where you can stroke the animals and there’s a giant rabbit here you can just sit there and stroke,” Matt said. “He seems very chilled out about being stroked because he’s just fast asleep.”

While some visitors have complained that prices in the farm’s cafeteria are a little on the high side, with a cup of juice costing £3, Matt pointed out that there’s provision to sit at tables and enjoy a home-made picnic too.

Explosions hit Ecuador, local criminal gang and ex-FARC dissidents blamed

Explosions have rocked different parts of Ecuador, with officials accusing a local criminal gang and Colombian ex-FARC dissidents of targeting two bridges in retaliation for a major military operation against illegal miners.

It is the latest wave of violence to have engulfed the South American nation in recent years. The government of President Daniel Noboa has been struggling to beat back criminal groups, who have shifted their drug smuggling from more militarised countries like Colombia to historically peaceful Ecuador.

Explosives were placed on bridges “to block traffic”, Transport Minister Roberto Luque wrote on X on Wednesday, describing the acts as “terrorism”. No casualties have been reported, though roads leading to the affected areas remain closed.

Interior Minister John Reimberg accused Ecuadorian gang Los Lobos, which is designated as a “foreign terrorist organisation” by the United States, and former rebels of the now-defunct movement Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC, with ties to the gang, of being behind the blasts.

Reimberg said the attacks came after security operations destroyed “illegal mining operations” in northern Ecuador and detained ex-FARC members.

No group immediately claimed responsibility for the blasts, and no arrests have been made.

The US State Department’s Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs condemned the attacks in a post on X, calling them “brazen terrorist attacks against the Ecuadorian people”.

“We remain committed to the fight to eradicate organized crime and stand ready to support Ecuador in holding those responsible to account,” it wrote in a statement.

The Associated Press news agency obtained a police report that confirmed the bridge structure in the city of Naranjal, about 290km (180 miles) southwest of the capital, Quito, sustained damage “from the suspected detonation”.

Marcela Aguinaga, prefect of the Guayas province, where Naranjal is located, condemned the “criminal act” on X.

The other explosion occurred on a bridge connecting the provinces of Azuay and El Oro in southern Ecuador. The emergency services reported on X that the route was closed due to a “possible collapse” of the structure. Images released by local media showed rubble, twisted metal from the bridge, and shattered windscreens on at least two buses.

The bridge explosions occurred just hours after a car bomb went off outside a shopping mall in Guayaquil, Ecuador’s largest city, killing one person and injuring many. A second vehicle containing explosives was found nearby but was deactivated.

The Attorney General’s Office said it had launched an investigation into the blasts, while the government offered a reward for any information leading to the identification and capture of those responsible.

Noboa, speaking at a public event in Guayaquil on Wednesday, said criminal groups were attempting to destabilise the government and that the country cannot “back down before people who want to terrorise Ecuadorian families”.

In March, a vehicle exploded outside Ecuador’s largest and most dangerous prison on the outskirts of Guayaquil, killing a prison guard.
