Nyesom Wike, the federal capital territory minister, has responded to online images that claim he has the right to take his sons on both domestic and international trips.
He claimed that the exposure was necessary for his sons, who were both master’s students.
What statute prohibits my sons from traveling? Where did the FCT pay $1?
What official issue? Do they have any signatures? It’s not necessary to be a personal trip.
What’s the matter? Therefore, I am able to travel with anyone from the FCT. In Nigeria, anyone can travel with me. That’s correct for me.
They must be aware of how Nigeria is, I say. They need to understand government, Mike said on Monday’s Politics Today on Channels Television.

When asked if he was instructing them to become politicians, he replied, “No, that’s not correct. My first son practices law. He replied, “No, I’m not going to practice.” I want to work as a farmer.
What do you mean by this, I asked. He replied, “No, this is what I want to do.” I said, ‘ Okay’. What do you do?
They have traveled to Spain for training. They have completed their training in Lisbon.
My second son received a master’s degree in economics from King’s College. He stated that he wants to work in real estate.
The former Rivers State governor expressed his happiness and peace with the sons’ responsible behavior.
“I’m so happy that I have children who have comforted me and prevented my problems.
Assuming they were smoking somewhere. You would have remarked, “Oh, look at these kids now,” They are who? He continued, “I won’t go with my enemy’s children.”
Wike and his sons have been seen at official events, including the FCT’s project commissioning.

Viktor Gyokeres’ 2-0 win at Burnley has caused the Arsenal manager to express his concern.
Gyokeres, who signed for Arsenal for £64 million in the summer, opened the scoring before being withdrawn at half-time.
The 27-year-old striker is out for Tuesday’s Champions League game against Slavia Prague (17:45 GMT), despite having scored four goals this season in the Premier League. He hasn’t trained since the Burnley defeat.
When asked if Gyokeres was a member of the squad, Arteta responded, “No, he’s definitely not available.”
He hasn’t practiced yet,” he said. In order to determine the extent of the injury, we need to conduct additional tests and scans in the coming days. He isn’t available, though.
Then Arteta was questioned about whether it was a short-term problem for Sweden, but she did not provide a positive update.
He said, “No, I’m concerned because he needed to leave the pitch and he was feeling something,” and he hadn’t had many muscular issues.
“That’s never a good sign, especially for a player who is very, very explosive,” he said.
We are now going to let you know as soon as we can to find out where we are in terms of the injury.

According to Al Jazeera’s Hind Khoudary reporting from outside Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir el-Balah, the five men who were released on Monday evening were taken there for medical examinations.

Some relatives embraced the released prisoners, while others anxiously awaited information about missing family members.
Israeli forces have released unknown Palestinian prisoners for the first time since the ceasefire, according to Khoudary.
Palestinians are still imprisoned in Israel, many of whom are held without charges under what human rights organizations refer to as arbitrary detention.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) provided the body of 45 Palestinians to Gaza’s Health Ministry earlier on Monday, bringing the total number of bodies given under the ceasefire agreement to 270.
According to a statement from the ministry on Monday, forensic teams have identified 78 bodies so far and will continue conducting their examinations “in accordance with approved medical procedures and protocols” before giving the bodies back to their families.
According to previous reports, many of the returned bodies, which included bound hands, blindfolds, and facial disfigurements, were handed back without identification tags and had been detained by authorities.
The first phase of the ceasefire agreement, which included prisoner and body exchanges mediated by Turkiye, Egypt, and Qatar with American involvement, culminated with the handover on October 10.
Khoudary, a reporter from Deir el-Balah in central Gaza, stated that “many of the bodies returned show signs of torture.” She added that Palestinians who have vanished from the country are still looking for relatives there.
She said that if these bodies aren’t identified, they will be interred in a mass grave in Deir el-Balah along with other Palestinians.
Israel continues to launch deadly attacks despite a ceasefire. Three Palestinians were killed on Monday by Israeli fire north of Rafah in southern Gaza, according to a source at the Nasser Medical Complex.
The Israeli army claimed that in a violation of the ceasefire, people had crossed the “yellow line,” an Israeli-controlled area.
It was impossible to independently verify the events in Israel. Additionally, it’s unclear whether the Israeli military referenced the same attack that claimed the lives of the three Palestinians.
A source at al-Ahli Arab Hospital reported to Al Jazeera that a child was one of three people who were seriously injured by Israeli fire in Gaza City.
According to Tareq Abu Azzoum, a journalist from Gaza City, Israel continues to drop grenades on partially standing buildings using quadcopter drones. He claimed that “authorities here regard these acts as violations of the ceasefire.”
