Freddy Brazier is said to have been brought closer to his dad Jeff amid their recent fractious relationship as he is now expecting his first child. The youngest son of Jeff and the late Jade Goody is reportedly set to become a dad himself.

He reportedly turned to his presenter dad Jeff for advice following the news, which comes just days after Freddy, 20, candidly revealed his “tough” personal journey. Freddy’s relationship with Jeff became strained when decided to live with Jade’s mum Jackiey.

Jeff started a legal battle to stop him seeing grandmother a fter they were pictured smoking together. Earlier this week, Freddy claimed his nan Jackiey was the one who got him “hooked” on drugs as he started smoking at just 12-years-old.

As they were seen together in recent weeks, Freddy appeared to have reconciled with Jeff. After learning that his ex-girlfriend is pregnant, it is reported that Freddy contacted Jeff for advice.

It has blindsided him and helped to bring him and his father back together, but Jade isn’t there to see it, according to a source who spoke to the Mail on Sunday.

Freddy acknowledged the support Freddy has received, noting that “Jeff was one of the first people he decided to confide in to ask for advice.” He immediately stepped up and was willing to assist wherever he could.

Freddy decided to lay bare the extent of what he has been going through after revealing he was going to rehab earlier this year. “I’ve been smoking since I was 12,” he said.

“I’ve been to rehab, I’ve had manic episodes, I’ve been sectioned, and I’ve been in cells,” I said. A real journey has been taken, and it has been challenging. My nan unquestionably became the one who weeded me and made me feel like a kid again,” Freddy said.

Freddy regrettably explained how important it would be if he hadn’t given my mother Jackiey’s mother a prioritization of their relationship. She threatened to commit suicide if I [were not] around her.

And I kept thinking about it for so long that I spent months at my Nan’s, go on crazy ones, and “and I had that in my head.” Freddy revealed he had spent his entire life at a “boys holiday” instead of pushing my dad away.

He openly stated, “I’ve been smoking since I was 12 and it’s time to stop.” I relied on it to make me feel sane and somewhat okay, and it was a bad coping mechanism that led to an addiction.

Freddy described his desire to “be” clean so that he could mend relationships with Jackie and Jeff. He stated, “I want to be happy, be in a good relationship, and have a good relationship with my father and my Nana.”

The Mirror has contacted Freddy and Jeff’s representatives for comment.

Big Brother star begs fans to help raise funds for hospital treatment

As he refers to it as a “social experiment,” former Big Brother star Marcus Akin has posted a request to fans on GoFundMe asking them to donate £3,500 to help him pay for medical treatment.

A former Big Brother star who appeared on the shown sixteen years ago has taken the drastic step of asking for £3,500 in donations in order to pay for ongoing medical treatment. Marcus Akin , who also goes by the name of The Dark Horse, has claimed that his desperate plea is more of a “social experiment” than anything else.

Marcus had been working as a window fitter while living with his mother before entering the popular TV show, where he stayed for 13 weeks.

Marcus made the most of his newfound fame by making appearances in two movies, including Zombie Hood and Zombie From Ireland, after his eviction.

However, he has started using GoFundMe to ask the general public for money more than ten years later.

He remarked, “Hello friends, this is my appeal. Let’s get to the point. There is no other way I can get things done than by trying this. Please bear with me because it has many layers. I need private medical care in particular, but getting money is what matters most to me. Later, I’ll talk more about that.

He continued, “I’m sick and tired of working myself to death without any reward.” I’m sick of paying too much for food. I and everyone I know struggle while watching bad people (mostly the political class) lead an easy life. A man created a crowdfund asking for £1, which I saw on social media and saw go viral. The same thing applies to this one, but it’s a little different.

Marcus continued: “I have been on the waiting list for actual treatment (an operation, rather than injections that do not work) for over 7 years now. As part of the experiment I must now conclude that the bean counters who run the NHS do not think I am worthy of treatment. I’m pretty sure given the current climate that I would not receive any benefits should I not be able to work, besides it not being in my character to even ask.”

Any money raised would be used for private operations, according to the former reality TV star, adding that “they aren’t cheap.” According to Marcus, the overall cost is a staggering £37, 000.

He went on to say: “Despite my ailments, I have only taken time off work when I have had operations (lumbar injections that did not work in 2024, and a gastronemeus release last Christmas).”

He claims to have already purchased “private treatments and medical” equipment for £10,000. Finally, it might seem as though I detest the NHS, he said as he finished his argument. I don’t . I detest the heartless management class, which funnels money to dedicated doctors and nurses. The real heroes are. Everyone, I appreciate you. See what this will lead to.

Marcus had raised £10 of his target of £3,500, according to The Sun at the time of publication.

If only he would launch a Facebook page to review his series or provide behind-the-scenes information, said a reality TV show fan. I’d be happy to subscribe and make a month’s worth of that. I recently watched his series, which made me want to see what he was up to, and I noticed how sad his Twitter is all about begging for assistance from the alt-right pipeline.

Another user wrote, “I hope he gets better, but writing you’re above applying for benefits when you’re in a position where you’re obviously needing them is a wild take.” Is he trying to fit into the big brother social experimentation, as he would refer to it as an “experiment”?

A third person continued, “Yes, absolutely! I wonder how much of his pride is there. He wants to ask for money or assistance, but is attempting to use it as an experiment to avoid coming across weak or desperate? I sincerely hope he improves and would voluntarily sign up for a Patreon if he so desired, as I sincerely believe he will have a keen eye for nostalgic/bts content fans’ desires.

A fourth person chimed in and said, “Whether you want to claim welfare or not, there is a benefit pot.” What’s the point of paying taxes if, however, you can’t use funding when you need it? In any case, he appears to be a self-pitying waster.

‘First-class’ Breach stars for ‘one team’ England

Different team, same outcome

World Cup favorites England destroyed Samoa in Northampton despite making 13 changes in John Mitchell’s starting XV.

The question was always whether the world’s top-ranked team would win big.

A record 92-3 Women’s World Cup win for fully professional England came as no surprise given that Samoa’s part-time players had to crowdfund to compete for their place and were the second-lowest ranked team in the competition in 15th place.

The victory gave Mitchell’s players a chance to claim a starting spot for the duration of their careers, which was prior to kick-off’s top goal.

We are a one team, one circle, Mitchell said, “It’s not about comparing the line-ups.”

“You can lose when the scoreboard grows,” but we didn’t. The performance thrilled me.

We could pick anyone because, at the end of the day, the injury gods haven’t been kind to us.

Samoa won their first Women’s Rugby World Cup match since 2014, defeating Australia 73-0, to begin the competition.

The lack of strong opposition gave England’s backline stars a fantastic opportunity to shine.

Helena Rowland, the backup fly-half, broke the individual record in a Women’s World Cup match with a score of 27 points.

With numerous excellent clearance kicks, Rowland’s kicking from hand was not just about the points.

Mitchell remarked, “Hella was outstanding. She possesses excellent abilities. She did a good job of investigating the game. She really guided the attack and made it work for us. The girls were fed off of her direction.

Rowland had plenty of time to start the backline after her half-back partner Lucy Packer’s quick service and try-scoring from the base of the ruck.

Megan Jones continued her excellent play in the center, scoring two well-taken tries, as wing-to-wing battles are raging.

Jess Breach, one of the two players who won with a score of 69-7 over the United States, received criticism last week for not making a try-saving tackle in the first half but then added with a hat-trick against Samoa to strengthen her bid to earn a starting spot.

Claudia Moloney-MacDonald won the women’s Six Nations Grand Slam final in April, but she has since withdrawn due to a hamstring injury, which has hindered her preparation and World Cup start.

The 29-year-old returned to Northampton and scored the final try of the match, but Breach, who now has 52 tries in 49 caps, had a weak performance.

Jess excelled in one-on-one duels. She will burn you if she finds a half-metre, Mitchelll said.

She has put herself in that position because she is confident and has worked hard. She excels when she acts like that.

Simon Middleton, the former England head coach, praised Breach’s workrate.

Jess gave a top-notch wing performance, he told BBC Sport.

She slammed her opposing wing, ran for a job, and appeared everywhere. She adapted to the difficulty of the shirt-stamp competitors around her.

Breach was unable to play at the Six Nations due to a hip injury suffered in November.

Breach has now scored five tries in two World Cup games to bring him back up to speed.

I’m back and really enjoying my rugby; I’m feeling the most fit ever,” Brace told BBC Sport.

The England wing almost ran half the pitch after some clever footwork in the second half to cap off that return to form.

Ruby Tui, a New Zealand winger, told BBC Sport, “She came close to scoring the try of the tournament, but her right toe touched the line.”

You could tell from her adage, “She was full of confidence, and the way she worked off her wing was obvious.

Moloney-MacDonald and Abby Dow are competing for the final starting wing spot because Abby Dow has always been Mitchell’s first choice for the right wing.

After suffering a second neck injury in February 2024, Moloney-MacDonald was extremely anxious to try again and declare herself “terrified to be anywhere near a rugby pitch.”

When I look back, it’s unbelievable, and I remember being afraid to attend training a year ago because I didn’t want to be hit by a ball. “I’m just proud to be here,” Holmes-MacDonald told BBC Sport.

“Samoa needs more rugby,” the statement read.

Samoa scored their first points of the World Cup with a score of 47-0 thanks to Harmony Vatau’s boot.

The Pacific Islanders have not won a game of the tournament since 2006 and haven’t qualified for the previous two World Cups.

The players and supporters roared loudly after Vatau’s kick to mark their biggest-stage return.

Samoa head coach Ramsey Tomokino told BBC Sport, “I did [smile when we got points]] but we initially wanted to tap and go and we talked about getting some points, which we did, and we avoided that zero.”

However, we didn’t want to cross that line, which was our intention.

Eight players in Tomokino’s squad made their World Cup debut against England, with some members taking unpaid leave from their jobs.

The best chance to score a first try in the tournament since 2014 might be in a final game against the United States on Saturday in York.

Tomokino continued, “We need more rugby in Samoa, we need to play in a professional competition,” adding that would help.

“Our players are dispersed all over the world,” he says.

Jackson ‘angry’ as Bayern loan collapses after Delap injury

After visiting Germany on loan to finish a loan move, Chelsea informed Munich, Bayern that they had revoked permission for Nicolas Jackson to have a medical with them. They also had instructed the striker to go back to London.

The 24-year-old is upset about the collapse of his first £13 million loan deal, according to sources who have spoken to BBC Sport, and that salvage efforts are likely to be made.

Liam Delap, Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Fulham on Saturday, suffered a serious-looking hamstring injury, and manager Enzo Maresca predicted that he might miss “six to eight weeks” after the injury.

It comes after a remarkable whirlwind 24 hours in which Chelsea reduced its strike force to just one.

Delap injured after sprinting for a ball in the first half at Stamford Bridge, then Christopher Nkunku signed for AC Milan for a 36-million-pound deal, Jackson moving to Germany, and Delap was injured before moving to AC Milan permanently.

The current Chelsea striker, Joao Pedro, has five goals in five starts, now.

Maresca responded, “I just finished the game, and I have no idea. ” Jackson’s decision may have come to an end. We’ll wait until we can sit down. I don’t know, really.

Diomansy Kamara, Jackson’s agent, wrote, “The plane doesn’t go backwards… Munich,” in a post on social media on Saturday evening.

However, as of right now, Nicolas Jackson will be wearing blue rather than red when Chelsea travel to Munich, Bayern on September 17 for the Champions League.

Max Eberl, director of sport at Munich, Bayern, stated to German media that Chelsea had informed them that they wanted the player back after we had reached an agreement yesterday and [permission] to perform a medical.

“We have to send the boy back to Munich right now,” the boy said. That’s the current situation, but I’m unable to envision the future.

Stephen Warnock, a former Premier League player, said to Final Score: “I can see the decision coming from the perspective of Chelsea. It’s not ideal from the perspective of the player.

You’re already in Munich, and there’s a buzz and excitement there. You have a sense of belonging to one club while being desired by another, which causes you to lose confidence, and you must then return to the club you belong to.

“This is a great opportunity to take the reins of Chelsea.” What’s to say Chelsea don’t go on to win some significant trophies this season? He could become the star of the show.

Is letting Jackson and Nkunku go wrong?

Many Chelsea supporters were already eying the idea that Jackson’s loan move to Germany was too late.

At Stamford Bridge, Tyrique George, a 19-year-old academy winger, took Delap’s place, and he did so in a dignified display while he was not in charge. However, he too could leave Chelsea before deadline day.

Maresca remarked on George, “Tyrique and I played for more than an hour, and he did brilliant.”

Ironic was the fact that Joao Pedro, Chelsea’s only fit striker, was also playing the number 10 slot instead of Cole Palmer, who had already become a star.

With only one other attacker on his bench after George was chosen, Maresca looked out of options with winger Jamie Gittens, who he signed from Dortmund for £48.5m this summer.

Given that Chelsea’s squad includes more than £300 million of players, it is remarkable.

However, Chelsea had to choose not to bring three senior strikers because Nkunku had been unsatisfied with the club for more than six months and Jackson wanted to be an emergency back-up.

With both Palmer and George having previously played as up front, Pedro Neto demonstrated last season that he is capable of filling in on an emergency basis. Shim Mheuka, 17, is the top scorer in the under-21s league, scoring four goals in three games.

Before moving to Manchester United for a $40 million, winger Alejandro Garnacho sat in the directors’ box on Saturday. Brighton’s Facundo Buonanotte, who can play as a 10 or right wing, is also on the verge of making a move.

After the arrival of the two Argentine attackers, Chelsea would have eight attacking players for four different positions on the field. A well-stocked academy would follow them.

Brentford have two bids for PSV’s Veerman rejected

Images courtesy of Getty

Joey Veerman, a midfielder for PSV Eindhoven, received two offers from Brentford.

The Dutch club informed Veerman that Veerman is not for sale in response to Brentford’s second offer, which is thought to be valued at around £25 million.

The Bees are now weighing whether to offer a new deal for the 26-year-old, who has 16 caps for the Netherlands.

Before the transfer deadline on Monday, Brentford are still trying to strengthen their squad, but they are having trouble locating their top targets.

Borussia Dortmund forward Max Beier’s £45 million bid was also rejected by the west London club.

Whether Yoane Wissa joins Newcastle could depend on whether Brentford can strengthen in attacking areas.

Wissa has indicated to the club that he wants to relocate to St. James’ Park this summer.

Man Utd’s vital win can’t mask urgent goalkeeping issues

At the conclusion of a turbulent few days at Manchester United, Ruben Amorim finally had something to celebrate.

Because he wanted to “watch the fans celebrate,” he claimed his captain would score, he didn’t actually see Bruno Fernandes’ decisive stoppage-time penalty.

Given how emotional he has been, Amorim made one of his more rational statements in a week that seemed to be a scorched earth policy.

Problems with goalkeeping

Getty Images

Amorim explained the challenges facing his team in the opening weeks of the new campaign, giving away the opportunity.

He said, “We are in a situation where they can score with every possession in our possession.”

Although it’s obvious that this is not a good situation, one of the reasons for this is that his goalkeepers consistently commit big errors.

United lost to Arsenal on the opening weekend due to Altay Bayindir’s inability to make clean contact when he attempted to punch Declan Rice’s corner away from danger.

When Andre Onana couldn’t get a Grimsby corner away from his six-yard box in the middle of the match, the hosts were already in the game as United slithered to their first defeat by a fourth-tier team.

Without Fernandes’ dramatic intervention, Bayindir returned against Burnley and duly failed to gather Loum Tchaouna’s second-half shot, which made the score 2-2.

In this situation, Amorim described it as “frustrating.”

They are people, they say. Everything is in the news at Manchester United.

Everyone mentions the goalkeeper, “everyone says that. When circumstances arise, I can alter the goalkeeper. At that precise moment.

JavaScript must be enabled in your browser to play this video.

That is acceptable. It is also obvious that if the goalkeepers make mistakes, they will have a significant negative effect.

Senne Lammens, who was once again left out of his side’s Belgian Pro-League game this afternoon due to transfer rumors, is undoubtedly one of the reasons United has been talking to Royal Antwerp about.

Galatasaray have been linked with Lammens and United’s keepers, so we might have to wait a while before the Turkish deadline closes on September 12 to fully understand the situation there.

Has Kobbie Mainoo’s desire to move to a loan ceased as a result of injuries?

JavaScript must be enabled in your browser to play this video.

Amorim claimed he was unaware of the extent of the injuries that had forced Mason Mount and Matheus Cunha to miss the game at half-time.

As he ran upfield, Cunha’s hamstring appeared to be hurting, and he immediately gave the impression that he would not be able to continue.

Amorim said afterwards that Mount had been having a problem for 30 minutes and that he had been concerned about it.

As Fernandes was moved upfield, Joshua Zirkzee took the place of Cunha, and Kobbie Mainoo took the place of Mount.

Prior to the end of the loan window, Mainoo requested to leave United on loan. He has plenty of options. Following the rejection of United’s initial transfer request, the question was re-asked on Friday. Amorim’s press conference on Friday reinforced the second rejection.

However, Mainoo still believed it was more appealing to play elsewhere than to play as Fernandes’ replacement.

Sesko situation was described.

Benjamin Sesko of Manchester United Getty Images

The fact that Benjamin Sesko scored his team’s 10th penalty was one of the main discussions at Grimsby was one of the main points. Before the Slovenian international stepped up, only Onana had ever taken one.

Sesko had a severe cramp, according to a report from BBC Sport on Thursday.

Amorim confirmed this following the Burnley victory by explaining why Sesko remained on the bench when Cunha and Mount needed replacements.

Sesko took Casemiro’s place in the final fifteen minutes.

Amorim claimed that “it’s all connected.” He really was in the top, and he actually had cramps after the game at Grimsby. We avoided the penalties because of this.

“I initially believed Ben didn’t play 90 minutes of pre-season, but he did it on Wednesday.”

Amorim consuming it gradually throughout the day.

Amorim is no longer interested in resolving questions about the “turning point” of his camp.

After this performance, he was relieved to say that he “loved” his players, even though he still feels the same way about it 24 hours after venting his dislike for certain players.

He is aware that convincing anyone that his methods are working will require more than a nerve-wracking home win over a newly promoted team.

That would be a start since he hasn’t won any previous Premier League games.

Manchester City will face United at Etihad Stadium on September 14th, which is the issue. After that, Chelsea travels to Brentford, where they have conceded four goals twice in their previous three games and have taken a total of one point.

He claimed, “I’m not considering a turning point.” I spoke to you guys ten times about this.
