Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz were all smiles as they partied with friends at a swanky restaurant in Los Angeles amid the fallout with his family

Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz have proved they are capable of playing happy families – but with her relations! The married couple, who are locked in a bitter feud with Brooklyn’s parents and siblings, recently enjoyed a star-studded night out with Nicola’s brother and pals.
The former aspiring photographer, 26, and billionaire heiress Nicola, 30, have kept their distance from the Beckham clan both online and in the real world over recent works, with the pair even snubbing David Beckham’s 50th birthday earlier this month.
It’s thought the issues between the couple and David and Victoria Beckham stem from Romeo Beckham, 22, finding love with 24-year-old Kim Turnbull – one of Brooklyn’s exes! The rift has reported got so bad that Brooklyn has been ignoring his “concerned” parents attempts to reach out.
Amid the drama, Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz were all smiles as they enjoyed a night out with pals on Friday. Bates Motel actress Nicola, 30, was spotted alongside Brooklyn, 26, at the star-studded Angelini Osteria in Los Angeles, where they were celebrating actor Oliver Trevena’s 45th birthday.

Nicola and Brooklyn, who tied the knot in a lavish £3 million ceremony back in 2022, were tagged in a post by birthday boy Oliver, who shared a series of snaps from the party, captioning it: ‘Life just keeps getting better! What a night!”

Joining them were Nicola’s brother Will, 38, and his partner Kenya Jones, along with Hollywood stars Gerard Butler and Tony Curran. Also present were Riverdale heartthrob Hart Denton and Deadpool and Wolverine actor Lewis Tan.
Nicola’s close bond with her brother is a far cry from Brooklyn’s strained relationship with his siblings. The cooking enthusiast, who used to fill his Instagram with loving tributes to his parents and three siblings – Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 13, hasn’t been seen in a photo with them since Boxing Day of the previous year. He also didn’t publicly recognise David and Victoria’s recent birthdays.
Over the weekend, David appeared to reach out to his eldest son amid the rift. On Sunday, Mother’s Day was celebrated in America – almost a month and a half after the annual holiday was observed in the UK. Despite being British, David took advantage of the symbolic day to post a photo of wife Victoria with all four of their offspring.
The Beckham clan in happier times
The ex-footballer shared a throwback snap of his wife Vicky, cradling their daughter Harper Seven as a baby on her chest, sided by their sons Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz hugging the singer-turned-fashion designer.
With the sweet photo, he penned: “Happy Mother’s Day to the best mommy. To all our friends in the U.S. Happy Mother’s Day.” Intriguingly, he made it a point to tag his sons, including Brooklyn. Fans are speculating whether this could be the footballer’s way of reaching out to his son through the Mother’s Day tribute.

This follows shortly after Brooklyn seemingly addressed rumours of a rift with his father during a weekend interview with The Sunday Times.
In the interview, Brooklyn spoke fondly of Formula E racing as common ground with his father, saying: “It’s something that me and my dad bonded over. My dad’s had some pretty cool cars.”
People in Pakistan and India have been celebrating a ceasefire after the most serious fighting between the nuclear-armed nations for decades. Life is slowly returning to normal in border regions as tensions linger.
That was the word used by Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim to describe how he feels about his side’s current position in the Premier League.
Languishing in 16th and on their joint-worst winless run of seven games following a 2-0 home defeat by West Ham, it begs the question just how much worse can things get for United?
Under the Portuguese, it has been a league season to forget.
After being appointed in November following the sacking of Erik ten Hag, Amorim’s United will go into the history books for all the wrong sort of records.
No ‘new-manager bounce’ leads to relegation form
Manchester United were already on a downward trajectory when Amorim took over from Ten Hag last year.
The Red Devils sat 14th in the Premier League with three wins from their opening nine matches.
Things were bad, but they got worse.
While a new manager can often bring struggling teams a turn in fortunes or a so-called ‘new manager bounce’, no such thing has happened at United and instead their dour form has intensified under Amorim.
They have accrued 24 points from 25 league games, dropped to 16th and their win record sits at an uncomfortably low 24%.
Against the 16 non-relegated teams this season they have picked up just 23 points from a possible 87. If results against the three relegated teams were removed from the Premier League, United would sit rock bottom.
Since 26 January, Amorim’s side have only beaten relegated duo Ipswich and Leicester in the league.

Home struggles
At home their record has been particularly damaging.
With nine home Premier League defeats they have suffered their joint-most losses in a single league campaign at Old Trafford, along with 1930-31, 1933-34 and 1962-63.
Their 17 league defeats overall are their most in a league campaign since 1973-74 (20), when they were relegated to the second tier.
Lowest win record & can’t find the net
Amorim’s first match in charge came on 23 November 2024 and since then their record has continued to disappoint:
What next for Amorim’s United?
Manchester United’s European campaign has provided some respite from their dire league effort, with Amorim’s unbeaten side facing Tottenham in the Europa League final on 21 May.
If they win that they will be granted a place in next year’s Champions League.
But following defeat by West Ham, Amorim himself indicated concern over how they would fare in Europe’s top competition, given their abject form and the increased calibre of opposition.

More games feels counterproductive for Amorim at this stage and he and his players have argued their league form is suffering for an increased focus on the Europa League.
In their past seven matches United have earned two points which, had the league started seven games ago, would leave them inside the drop zone with Southampton and Ipswich.
And things are unlikely to get better any time soon.
Even if United were to win their final two matches – against Chelsea and Aston Villa – they can finish no higher than 13th. That’s five places worse off than their previous lowest finish in the Premier League – eighth in 2023-24.
Their lowest-ever points tally for a Premier League campaign is 58 in 2021-22. United are now guaranteed to reduce that record by at least 13 points.
Former Real Madrid midfielder Xabi Alonso is set to become the club’s next manager on a three-year deal when he leaves Bayer Leverkusen after this season, Spanish media report.
Alonso, 43, is expected to replace Real boss Carlo Ancelotti, who – despite having a year remaining on his Madrid contract – has just been confirmed as the new manager of Brazil in the run-up to the 2026 World Cup, the Brazilian FA (CBF) said on Monday.
Alonso, who said earlier this month that he was leaving Leverkusen after guiding them to the double last term, will join Real before the inaugural Club World Cup in the United States from June 15 to July 13, multiple media reports said.
Alonso, who also played for Liverpool and Bayern Munich, last season steered Leverkusen to their first Bundesliga title, ending the Bavarians’ 11-year domination, and they also won the German Cup and German Super Cup.

Ancelotti’s departure from the club come as no surprise after Real’s 4-3 defeat at Barcelona in a thrilling El Clasico on Sunday left his side on the brink of a trophy-less season.
The 65-year-old Italian, who returned for a second stint at Real in June 2021, led the Spanish giants to two Champions League and La Liga doubles, the latest of which came last season.
He exits Real Madrid as the most successful manager in the club’s history with a total of 15 trophies and the first coach to claim titles in Europe’s top five leagues.
However, this season Real were knocked out of the Champions League in the quarterfinals by Arsenal, and allowed Barca to fight back and win 3-2 in the Copa del Rey final.
Second-placed Real are seven points adrift of Barcelona, who could secure the league title on Wednesday without kicking a ball if Real fail to win at home to Mallorca.
Regardless of Real’s result, a Barca victory in the city derby away to Espanyol on Thursday would clinch the title.
An official announcement regarding a managerial change is expected before Real’s last game of the season at home to Real Sociedad on May 25.
Ancelotti is expected to receive a fitting farewell, recognising his four highly successful years with the club.

Primark has unveiled a new pair of shoes that bear a striking resemblance to a pricier designer pair. The budget-friendly retailer, renowned for its fashion and home goods, may have just released a new favourite.
The high street giant’s Embellished Slingback Court Shoes mirror a style by designer label Carvela but Primark’s version is significantly cheaper. Customers can snag the Primark pair for £20, while the designer equivalent retails at £139 online.
Both pairs boast a slingback design with chic, embellishments over the front and strap, and matching pointed toes. They both also feature similar colour palettes, with silver gems.
However, there are noticeable differences between the two. The Carvela shoes have a higher heel than the Primark version, and the more expensive shoes feature a buckle fastening not seen on the budget shoes.
The designer shoes are also clear beneath the embellishments across the toe. Primark’s shoes are solid under the silver diamantes.
Primark’s product description states: “A pair of pointed-toe slingback court shoes featuring all-over diamanté embellishments.” They are available in sizes three to eight.
The designer description reads: “The Positano Vinyl Sling Low heel features a clear vinyl upper with gold crystals. The sling back strap is fastened with a gold buckle.”
Primark’s shoes are priced at £20, while the Carvela positano vinyl low sling back heels come in at £139 online. This means shoppers could save around £119 by opting for the budget-friendly version.
