According to Old Trafford sources, Manchester United has accepted an offer for Antony from Real Betis.
As far as United are concerned, the transfer was agreed, to the point where Antony was given permission to travel to Spain to finish his medical, despite Betis’ sources saying there are still issues to resolve.
The 25-year-old was a member of the La Liga team that lost to Chelsea in the Conference League final while on loan during the second half of last season and helped secure a spot in Europe.
One of the five players who did not participate in any training with the rest of the squad was Tyrell Malacia, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, and Marcus Rashford, who had been earmarked for a move by United this summer.
Rashford has already left for Barcelona on loan, according to Ruben Amorim, and Garnacho will soon be unveiled as a Chelsea player following the signing of a £40 million deal.
As a result of their being bombed out of the first team, the so-called “bomb squad” has been prevented from entering United’s Carrington training facility until Amorim and his team have left for the day.
In his 17 La Liga starts for Betis since joining them in January, the Brazilian international has scored five goals and assisted two more.
What will go down as one of the most disappointing transfers in United history will be made a permanent move.
The club’s most expensive signing, behind Paul Pogba, was Antony, who left Ajax for £81.3 million in August 2022.
He badly faded after a promising start to his United career. His most recent Premier League start came against Burnley the week before, when he lost to Crystal Palace by a 4-0 margin in May 2024.

According to a second source, Zo’s views Harry as being effortlessly “cool.” When most people are trying to break through or stay relevant, Zoe believes Harry is cool without trying, which is a very attractive quality in Hollywood.
Harry is “really low-key,” according to the source, who added that he doesn’t “act like a megastar” in other ways. Then, in a similar way, were Zo’s father, Lenny, 61, who has a successful career in the music industry.

After signing the bill with a marker, Abbott declared in a video clip on social media that “Texas is now more red in the United States Congress.”
Abbott and Republicans “effectively surrendered Texas to Washington” with the new map, according to the head of Texas’s Democratic Party.

After more than 50 Democratic state House members staged a walkout that denied Republicans the required legislative quorum, the Texas bill was delayed for two weeks.
Democrats claimed that the new Texas map enacted discriminatory laws based on race and diluted Hispanic and Black voting rights.
Republicans in Texas who supported the bill claimed that they changed the map’s design to reflect voter intent rather than race.
Nigerians will now be required to pay $80 or the equivalent of naira for each package sent to the US, according to the NIPSOST on Friday.
NIPOST announced the change would start taking effect on August 29, 2025, but it also disclosed that all letters and other documents would not be subject to the requisite prepaid customs fee.
It explained that the development came after a US Executive Order that suspended de minimis deferrals for all international postal shipments.
All postal products to the United States, aside from letters and documents, will now be subject to a prepaid customs duty of USD $80 (or its naira equivalent) at the point of acceptance in Nigeria, according to the organization.

According to the statement, “Global logistics operations are also being impacted as airlines and cargo carriers handle shipments headed to the US with more care.” This could cause delays in delivery by potentially extending both transit and processing times.
