Donald Trump accuses Barack Obama of ‘treason’ over 2016 election claims

Donald Trump, the president of the United States, has called for Barack Obama’s arrest, refuting unproven assertions that the Democratic administration had purposefully misled the public about the 2016 election.

Trump accused Obama, a long-standing adversary, of helming a criminal conspiracy at Tuesday’s Oval Office meeting with Philippine President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

According to Trump, “Barack Hussein Obama was the gang’s leader,” the media reported.

“  He’s guilty. Treason was committed here. Every word you can think of was used to describe this. They attempted to sabotage the election. They attempted to obstruct the election. Nobody has ever imagined what they did, even in other nations.

President Trump has a history of spreading election-related lies, including by denouncing his own defeat in the 2020 election.

However, he has attempted to resolve problems with his victory in the 2016 presidential election, which has sparked concerns about Russia’s alleged attempts to influence the outcome.

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) discovered that Russia had attempted to influence the outcomes of Trump’s second term in the wane in 2016. Obama reacted to the allegations by removing Russian diplomats and imposing sanctions on the nation.

Later, details about the Russian influence campaign were revealed in a 2017 intelligence community assessment.

However, a special counsel’s report found that there wasn’t enough evidence to refute the claim that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia in 2019. However, it once more bolstered the government’s claim that Russia “infected the election in a comprehensive and systematic manner.”

Trump, however, has referred to these inquiries as politicized attacks meant to undermine his authority.

Trump cited recent assertions made by his director of national intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, who claimed the Obama administration had committed wrongdoing in his appearance on Tuesday.

Trump remarked, “They caught President Obama absolutely cold.” There should be very harsh consequences for those who attempted to rig the election after being caught.

Obama attacks are re-enforced by Tulsi Gabbard.

Trump’s most recent comments regarding what he refers to as the “Russia hoax” come just days after Gabbard released a press release on the subject on July 18.

Gabbard’s office claims in the statement that “President Obama and his national security cabinet members produced and politicized intelligence” to create the framework for what was essentially a years-long coup against President Trump.

After that release, Gabbard made a number of social media posts, some of which suggested she had requested that Obama be charged with bringing criminal charges against him. She described the 2016 election scrutiny as a “treasonous conspiracy.”

According to Gabbard, “Their goal was to usurp President Trump and sabotage the American people’s will.”

Every person connected to this conspiracy must be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent permitted, she continued. We’re submitting all of our paperwork to the DOJ for a criminal referral.

However, Gabbard’s report’s veracity has been questioned a lot. She appears to be interpreting different conclusions, according to critics.

Gabbard has cited internal government documents from the 2016 election cycle that show that Russia did not use cyberattacks to change the vote count overall.

However, the intelligence report from 2017 did not make any claims about Russian election hacking attempts. Instead, it highlighted ways Russia used disinformation to influence public opinion.

Online smuggling, the distribution of hacked data, and targeted messaging about election-related individuals and groups were part of Russia’s campaign.

Other investigations into the matter, including a separate Department of Justice inspector general report and a Senate investigation led by Republicans, all demonstrated that Russia had attempted to influence the 2016 election.

Gabbard’s statements face backlash.

However, Gabbard’s claim that the Democratic Party’s scrutiny of the 2016 election was unlawful has sparked controversy.

Senator Mark Warner of Virginia even questioned Gabbard’s decision to continue serving as director of national intelligence.

He wrote on social media that it is regrettable that DNI Gabbard, who promised to depoliticize the intelligence community, is once more using her position to amplify the president’s election conspiracy theories.

Gabbard’s claims were described in a statement released by Obama himself through his office as “bizarre.”

Nothing in the document released last week undermines the widely accepted notion that Russia aided in the 2016 presidential election without successfully manipulating votes, it said.

Some critics have suggested that Trump may be attempting to distract from his current political woes by handling files involving Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender, in response to the years-old controversy surrounding Russian election interference.

Despite this, President Trump has refrained from contradicting Gabbard’s claims, even reposting a video that was created by artificial intelligence (AI) on Monday that showed Obama being handcuffed in the Oval Office while the YMCA was playing.

Trump said on Tuesday, “This is like proof that Obama was seditious and that he was trying to lead a coup.” Obama “headed it up,” he said.

Unlike her celebrity parents, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, and her siblings Kelly and Jack, Aimee Osbourne has steadfastly maintained a low profile, avoiding the limelight.

Her father and Black Sabbath frontman, Ozzy, passed away on July 22 as his family confirmed the heartbreaking news with an official statement.

Ozzy’s family stated in the heartbreaking statement that “we have to announce the passing of our beloved Ozzy Osbourne this morning with more sadness than words can convey.”

He was surrounded by love and his family. At this time, we ask that everyone respects our family’s privacy. “Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee, and Louis.

Just weeks after Black Sabbath’s final farewell performance, Ozzy passed away. The 76-year-old rocker had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019 and has since recovered.

The Osbournes burst into our living rooms in 2002, offering MTV audiences an inside look at the chaotic household of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s children, Kelly, 39, and Jack, 38. Yet many viewers remained unaware that Celebrity Big Brother star Sharon and Black Sabbath legend Ozzy had another offspring – Aimee, now 41.

Aimee chose anonymity, leaving the family home at age 16 when her younger siblings embraced the celebrity status that The Osbournes’ popularity brought with them.

“I’m not some weirdo depressed daughter that’s afraid of the world and locks herself in her room all day; I just didn’t choose to do the show,” Aimee has openly stated on American television.

I want to be a singer, but I thought I would have been instantly typecast if I had followed the Osbournes’ advice and followed their path. We definitely struggled with disagreements because [Mum] was hurt and we definitely had a difficult time. My private life is very important to me because I’m more reserved.

At the age of 16, Aimee made the courageous choice to leave the public, which Sharon Osbourne has since regretted.

Now 41, Aimee seems to be opening up more about her personal life, often sharing updates on her musical projects via Instagram.

Aimee reportedly walked out of a Manchester hotel this June along with Bridgette Calls Me Baby’s Wes Leavins, stoking rumors about a new romance as the band travels to the UK.

She reflected on her first recording session at the renowned Abbey Road Studios in an emotional Instagram post that year marked a significant milestone in her career. Despite a year filled with “heartbreak and twists and turns,” she urged her fans to continue to advance.

Aimee’s most recent song, Siren, was released in November 2024 in collaboration with Fjora Music under the moniker ARO. In 2015, her debut single, Raining Gold, was released.

Sharon and Aimee both openly discussed their feelings for staying at home longer and how devastated she was when her eldest daughter left.

Sharon, 72, described her daughter’s aversion to being in the spotlight on The Talk in 2018 as “she felt too she didn’t want to grow up on camera.” She detested the idea, calling it “abhorrent to me” and “added with regret.” She eventually left when she was 16 years old, and I still regret doing it today. When she moved, it broke my heart.

Unfortunately, Aimee’s relationship with her sister Kelly has deteriorated over time, despite the fact that she continues to pursue her musical dreams.

On Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, Kelly directly confirmed their separation and said, “We don’t talk. We’re just really different. She and I don’t get along.

This came after Aimee’s own reflections on the sibling dynamic back in 2015 in an interview with The Independent, where she stated, “There is an acceptance between us, but there is ease.” We socialize, right? No. “

Jessica and Louis were welcomed by Ozzy and Thelma Riley after their first marriage, and they are the only other children.

Thelma’s son Elliott was adopted by the music legend after that. The children have largely avoided the media’s attention and rock star spotlight, keeping them out of the public eye.

Their secret lives were made based on a conscious decision to remain anonymous as Ozzy’s world of fame, controversy, and chaos erupted around them.

Jessica and Louis, along with their adopted brother Elliott, have pursued common interests despite growing up amid Black Sabbath tours and tabloid headlines, but Ozzy has rarely discussed them in interviews, putting emphasis on their right to privacy.

Moment BBC Radio 1 host breaks down on air as he announces Ozzy Osbourne death

This evening’s live broadcast of the announcement of Ozzy Osbourne’s passing, radio host Jack Saunders, was heartfelt. Following the release of a statement from the family, the presenter made the announcement to the audience on BBC Radio 1.

Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy’s wife, and his family, announced tonight that he passed away this morning, just weeks after his final performance with Black Sabbath. He was “surrounded by love,” they claimed in a statement.

Later, while introducing the news to listeners, BBC Radio presenter Jack, 32, paid tribute to Ozzy. Before playing one of the songs by his band on his radio show, he described the singer-songwriter as a “legend,” as he considered his legacy.

On his BBC Radio 1 show earlier this evening, Jack Saunders, pictured, revealed Ozzy Osbourne’s passing to viewers (Instagram/jackxsaunders).

“I’m sad to announce that Ozzy Osbourne has sadly passed away at the age of 76,” Jack said. The Prince of Darkness is Black Sabbath’s frontman, one of the most significant heavy metal bands, whose second album, Paranoid, is unquestionably the most influential metal album ever.

If you’ve had a chance to listen to that album, you’ll know when I say that, but the riffs were raw and cut-throat, and I mean there wasn’t anything to compare to or be compared to in a certain way. Only to be heard was the concern.

And he remarked, “Black Sabbath tonight’s opening track is this one from Black Sabbath.” And by the way, it was incredibly iconic, tone-setting, and incredibly ambitious for the time, which was 1970. This came off as something new, unique, and exciting, and Ozzy’s voice was timelessly evil, full of temptation, and snare-filled.

There was no way for you to leave Ozzy’s place if you only heard Black Sabbath once you heard him perform his song, Jack said. Ozzy Osbourne, who had previously shaped the sound of rock and roll, transformed himself into the Prince of Darkness on this track and beyond. To a legend, rest in peace. Black Sabbath plays War Pigs on Radio 1 and it’s great.

Jack also paid tribute when he shared the Instagram video. As I was on air tonight, the news broke that we had lost one of the greatest showman the history of metal and music had witnessed.

He continued, saying to his followers, “Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath did it first, and the bands and artists who dare fly the flag in the name of rock n roll do so.” He benefited music greatly. The Prince of Darkness, Rest in Peace.
