Good Morning Britain star Ranvir Singh, 47, has shared a rare insight into her relationship with her younger partner Louis Church, 29. The presenter has remained mainly quiet about her personal life but opened up about her new relationship while discussing Louis’ relationship with her 13-year-old son, Tushaan.

It was only recently Ranvir felt secure enough to share more of herself with the world. In December, she opened up for the first time about becoming a single mum while she was pregnant with Tushaan. Ranvir married her now ex-husband, Ranjeet Singh Dehal, in 2012 and became pregnant with their son Tushaan, now 13.

Louis Church and Ranvir Singh
Since 2020, Louis and Ranvir have been dating.

A few years later, she “casually confirmed” (according to headlines at the time) on ITV Breakfast that she was single, but never addressed it further until her recent appearance on Kate Thornton’s White Wine Question Time podcast.

The presenter opened up about her new boyfriend’s relationship with her son in a recent interview with Daily Mail’s Weekend Magazine, which provided another extraordinary insight into her personal life.

She explained how she went about getting Louis to like Tushaan, and how much the bar is there.

You can take risks in your own life, but having a son means making sure that he will inspire him. And Louis is.

The ITV star revealed Louis bonds with Tushaan at ‘all the football games’ and even goes fishing with him. Ranvir has been dating Louis Church, a TV production manager, since 2020 – and has previously dismissed the interest in their 18-odd year age gap.

Making sure that bringing a new partner into her life was completely the right thing for both herself and Tushaan was something that was much more important to her, she claimed.

Anyone who has ever played the role I have in must play it very cautiously. She said to OK!, “It really isn’t about you and your feelings.” last month. Our foot is always hovering over the brake pad when we have children because you might say, “Hang on a minute, this isn’t just about me,” but we can always throw caution to the wind for ourselves.

“I’m even thinking, “Have I got the time to introduce someone? “, it’s not just about the relationship itself. My son and I don’t want to dilate our time together.

“All of those worries are actually common.” Anyone in my position uses the word “caution” as a pretext. It takes much longer to choose your integration, in my opinion. For sure, it’s a much bigger and more important decision than if it were just you.

“It’s a very brave decision to fall in love, and it takes a lifetime to do it.”

FG, EU Discuss €1.3b Trade Investments In Nigeria

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, on Wednesday received the European Union (EU) Ambassador to Nigeria, Gautier Mignot, in Abuja for high-level discussions on strengthening EU-Nigeria economic cooperation.

A statement by the Finance Ministry on X on Thursday said Ambassador Mignot underscored the EU’s position as Nigeria’s largest trading partner and a major source of foreign direct investment.

He proposed the creation of a formal trade and investment dialogue framework to unlock further opportunities through enhanced collaboration, particularly in infrastructure, green finance, and sustainable development.

The meeting spotlighted the EU’s €1.3 billion investment portfolio in Nigeria, recent engagement by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and the Global Gateway Investment Strategy aimed at deepening Africa- Europe economic ties.

The Minister welcomed the initiative, reaffirming Nigeria’s commitment to macroeconomic stability, investor-friendly reforms, and digital transformation.

He emphasised ongoing reforms to improve the ease of doing business, projected a GDP growth of 4.6% by 2025, and rising trade surplus as key indicators of Nigeria’s economic progress.

French FM bats for ‘Franco-Chinese partnership’ during Beijing visit

In response to the Trump administration’s “America First” policy, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot met with Wang Yi for discussions on the Ukraine war and Beijing’s trade dispute with Europe and called for a “powerful Franco-Chinese partnership.”

More than ever, the current situation calls for a strong Franco-Chinese partnership in the name of geopolitical stability, prosperity, and the planet’s future, said Barrot, speaking to students on Thursday morning at the Beijing Language and Culture University.

The tensions between the United States and the European Union are rising as a result of the Paris and Beijing talks, including over Ukraine security and trade.

In order to put an end to more than three years of hostilities in Ukraine, US President Donald Trump has unilaterally urged Russia’s Vladimir Putin to step up and declare that Washington will not accept responsibility for the security of Europe.

He made the announcement on Thursday that automakers in Europe would receive 25% tariffs. The most recent levy is in addition to earlier tariffs placed on both enemies and allies.

Ursula von der Leyen, president of the European Commission, claimed that the tariffs would “wore for consumers” and “bad for businesses.”

Paris anticipates that the talks will center on a resolution to China’s trade war with the European Union and Russia’s conflict in Ukraine.

Following the European Union’s vote to impose tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles in October, China imposed temporary tariffs on imports of European brandy that ranged from 30 to 39 percent.

The move had the biggest impact on French cognac brands, causing a nearly a quarter of the country’s exports’ value to fall.

After meeting top Chinese diplomat Wang at Beijing’s ornate Diaoyutai guesthouse on Thursday, Barrot said, “France opposes any form of trade war and favors dialogue on trade issues, particularly between the European Union and China.”

‘Constructive’

Wang said both countries will use the consultation mechanism between both foreign ministries for in-depth communication on common issues, calling the meeting “constructive” and involving discussions on bilateral and China-EU relations.

Both sides should show historical awareness, support multilateralism, and oppose unilateralism in the face of profound changes in the world’s landscape, he said to reporters following the meeting.

Barrot emphasized seeking a resolution to the trade dispute between Wang and Barrot, but Wang avoided it.

Barrot reiterated his country’s support for its cognac industry and reiterated that France opposes any kind of trade war and encourages dialogue on trade issues, particularly those involving China and the European Union.

Barrot will meet with local officials and business leaders in Shanghai on Friday.

Tensions between the US and Europe

Before a major French-hosted meeting on a potential peacekeeping force for the nation, Barrot’s two-day visit provides an opportunity to assess China’s position on Ukraine.

China might help bring Russia to the table in the negotiations to end Ukraine’s war, according to the French foreign minister.

Along with his counterpart Wang Yi, Barrot and Wang Yi reaffirmed that France and China must work together to bring about a just and lasting peace in Ukraine. China can also assist in persuading Russia to make good-faith proposals for a deal at the table.

The US and Europe are at a crossroads over support for Ukraine, with Washington increasingly perceived as backing Moscow.

Prince Harry charity row escalates with fiery statement taking aim at ‘torn apart’ Duke

Prince Harry’s Sentebale charity, which he quit as patron, is now in a bitter row, with the group posting a loaded statement on social media.

The bitter row engulfing Prince Harry’s Sentebale charity has intensified, with the organisation issuing a blunt statement. This week, Harry revealed the shock news that he would be resigning as patron of Sentebale, the charity he helped to set up almost 20 years ago in honour of his late mother Princess Diana to help children affected by HIV/AIDs – a move said to have left him “torn apart”.

His resignation along with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho, the charity’s other joint founder, came just hours before its chairwoman Dr Sophie Chandauka appeared to criticise Harry for “playing the victim card”, and issued a blistering statement alleging there had been “poor governance, weak executive management, abuse of power, bullying, harassment, misogyny, misogynoir”.

Sentebale’s first social media post since the spat broke out has now sparked the bitter boardroom feud, which not only makes fun of Harry and his co-founder, but also downplays the role of trustees while praising “people in the field who are advanceing the work.”

It states, “It’s the incredible teams on the ground, our staff, and local partners, who walk alongside the children and young people we serve, every day, to bring our mission to life.” Even though trustees are essential for good governance and regulation and patrons, especially founders, are honorable, it is the people in the field who, regardless of circumstance, advance the work.

Our commitment to improving the health, better living conditions, and climate resilience of southern Africa’s youth is still as strong as it was in the past. They are still working because they deserve nothing less.

Numerous trustees have resigned from the organization after requesting Dr. Chandauka’s resignation due to a dispute with her. According to some, the dispute stemmed from a decision to concentrate fundraising in Africa.

And now, Dr. Kelello Lerotholi, a trustee for the charity since it started in 2006 and who quit in the same year as Harry, has revealed that he is concerned about the emotional well-being of the two princes amid the contentious row. He claimed for The Times that “given their commitment to the welfare of children,” they “are torn apart” at the notion of abandoning them when they “know they’re not abandoning them.”

Harry, a 19-year-old boy, spent two months in Lesotho during his year-long gap. He was inspired to start the charity, which is now operational in Botswana. He visited herd boys who live in remote mountain areas and visit Aids orphans who had been living in harsh conditions.

In honor of his late mother, he founded Sentebale with Prince Seeiso to assist young people and children in southern Africa, particularly those who are living with HIV and Aids. Two years later, he founded Sentebale. Its name signifies “forget-me-not,” Harry’s favorite flower, according to its name.

Harry and Seeiso confirmed their decision to step down as patrons in a statement that supported and showed solidarity with the board of trustees, who had to do the same. The dysfunctional relationship between the charity’s trustees and the board chair left a lasting impression, making this situation untenable.

After the late Queen in 2021 removed Harry from his royal patronages and honorary military positions, Harry kept a small number of private patronages at Sentebale. The Charity Commission stated that it is “concerned of concerns about Sentebale’s governance.” The commission stated in a statement that it is assessing the issues and is deciding what are the appropriate regulatory actions to take.

Freddy Brazier makes heartbreaking confession after being diagnosed with bipolar

Fans told Freddy Brazier, Jade Goody’s son, to be “proud” after he admitted to having mental and physical health issues in an effort to inspire others to seek out help.

Freddy Brazier, the son of Jeff Brazier and the late Jade Goody, has bravely opened up about his mental health struggles. The TV star also gave advice for those struggling with epilepsy as he does, and was “happy to get on board” by making a video to raise awareness of the issues.

In the TikTok video – filmed before his dad Jeff launched a legal proceedings to stop Freddy seeing his grandmother Jackiey Budden – Freddy, 20, filmed himself at home as he spoke to the camera on behalf of an epilepsy awareness account. “I’m Freddy Brazier,” he began.

“Some might know me for my harsh mother Jade Goody, the Big Brother star some would say. Or my father Jeff Brazier the TV presenter, known for multiple things – couldn’t tell you,” Freddy said while laughing.

He then referred to the BBC show he’d done with his dad, exclaiming: “And if you’ve watched Race Across the World you might also know me from there! The absolute legend from Race Across the World.”

Without prior authorization, content cannot be displayed.

Freddy’s tone quickly changed as he discussed some of his more pressing problems. He continued, “Just coming on to say that seizures, like any other illness, shouldn’t be made a joke or a joke.”

He then made the statement, “I myself have bipolar disorder and severe mental health issues.” And it’s bad when others criticize you or criticize you for it.

As the young man finished the video, the young man grinned and said, “View this account for more information about seizures and whatever else. Hope it is helpful.

The account holder revealed in the video’s comment that he was “happy” to help and that Freddy “offered to do the video right away.”

Many fans were equally impressed with his honesty while talking about his mental health and epilepsy. “You are a star, you are helping so many for talking out,” one person said, with another adding: “You are a voice for all young men keep up the good work.”

A third person praised, “Well done for speaking out mate.” Another fan wrote, “Be proud of yourself for opening up and helping young people or anyone else really.”

According to reports, Freddy’s father Jeff plans to file a lawsuit to stop him from seeing Jackiey Budden, his maternal grandmother, because he worries about the negative effects the couple have had on his well-being. With the birth of two sons, Bobby, 21, and Freddy, 20, Jackiey Budden and Feddy’s father Jeff, who had been dating Jade for two years, have a strained relationship.

However, it was claimed in recent days that Jeff had consulted with lawyers to stop the young model and TV star from seeing Jackiey. Jackiey responded to the reports by saying, “I know what this is all about.” She continued, “It doesn’t matter (the circumstance with Jeff) does.” It makes no difference.

In an effort to protect Freddy’s welfare, Jeff, the father of Jade’s two children, is attempting to stop contact between the model Freddy and his nan Jackiey, 68, 16 years after his tragic death from cervical cancer at the age of 27 from concerns for his siblings Bobby and Bobby, the star of EastEnders, in legal action.

Prior to revealing his diagnoses with bipolar disorder and epilepsy, Freddy spoke about how he’d coped after being diagnosed with ADHD when he was just 10.

He acknowledged that he had no intention of disrupting his studies and that it was difficult to concentrate at school. “I don’t believe I was bad, but I wasn’t good,” Freddy said in a nutshell.

Dad Jeff then took over and praised Fred for “being amazing in his lifetime” by praising him directly to the camera.
