Zara McDermott has admitted the difficulty she faced while filming for her new BBC documentary series. The presenter, 28, is the face of The Dark Side of Paradise, but confessed she doesn’t feel like a “natural” in front of the camera.

In the new series, Zara and her camera crew examine everyone who travels to Thailand in search of longer-term roots. As the team discovers what happens when the dream of paradise is broken, secrets are discovered along the way.

And while fans were quick to praise Zara’s actions in the eye-opening documentary, she admitted she has had to discover herself as the role went on. Taking part in a Q&A on Instagram, the former Love Island star was asked what her favourite part of the production on such a show is.

She stated, “Development or producing for sure” I genuinely don’t believe I’m a natural when I’m in front of the camera (well, I wasn’t initially).

I’ve learned it, and over time, my confidence has increased. Producing is a significant component of my job on the ground because I work in the factual space.

However, Zara did state that she enjoyed presenting because she believed she could be used as a “channel for people to tell their stories.” She asserts that “it’s about them, not me, it’s about them, which is a big reason why I love what I do so much.”

She also acknowledged to her fans that she believes she has developed since taking to the stage as both a person and as a presenter. When someone tells me a heartfelt story or experience, I can honestly say that when I hear it.

“I actually feel those emotions with them,” she added as she admitted she is growing more emotionally aware of others as she gets older. It comes as she continues to grow into her relationship with former One Direction star Louis Tomlinson.

The duo’s latest romantic milestone was reported last month, and it was claimed that they had moved in together. Their coupling had been the subject of months’ worth of speculation, but they recently made an Instagram official debut, and it seems like things are progressing.

She is said to have moved into the London mansion, which is owned by Louis, 33. She broke up with her ex-boyfriend Sam Thompson at the end of last year, which is a big deal.

After putting in more and more time there, insiders now claim Zara has since moved to the One Direction star’s residence. She has spent her entire time at his place, and she has essentially moved in, according to the source.

They continued, “Zara has even started using that platform to create her social media videos instead of her parents,” according to the Sun. After splitting from her ex, she returned to her family home.

US Open asks broadcasters not to highlight Trump reaction

During Sunday’s men’s singles final, the US Open organizers have instructed broadcasters to avoid bringing up any negative comments about President Donald Trump.

Trump, 79, will make his first Grand Slam tennis appearance in New York since 2015.

Before Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz will face him in the anthem ceremony.

A tournament sponsor has invited Trump to attend the game, and he will stay in a corporate suite to watch the event.

Prior to Sunday’s final, which will begin at 14:00 local time (19:00 BST), extra security measures were put in place.

The United States Tennis Association (USTA) issued a memo asking broadcasters to refrain from disclosing any disruptions to the president’s attendance at any time.

Trump, who won a second term in office in 2024, has not attended the New York City tournament since taking office in 2016.

Before his wife Melania and him made his first appearance in Flushing Meadows ten years ago, he had previously been there on several occasions.

As he watched from a hospitality area in 2015, John McEnroe, an American seven-time major champion, welcomed Trump.

Kourtney Kardashian hails one English region a ‘dreamy storybook fairytale’ – it’s not London

Reality TV star, 46, shared some images of a holiday spot that is distinctly British.

Kourtney Kardashian gave fans a glimpse into her idyllic English escape this summer and described one destination as just like a ‘fairytale.’ The reality star, 46, shared her thoughts in a recent Instagram post that offered snapshots of quaint cottages, duck-filled waters, and a cosy wooden cabin.

While you might be picturing Cornwall, the Yorkshire Dales or even the New Forest, it was actually the Cotswolds that stole Kourtney’s heart. “Dreamy storybook fairytale enchantment,” she wrote about her trip back in July.

Spanning nearly 800 square miles, the Cotswolds is a particularly stunning region that runs through several counties, including Gloucestershire, Warwickshire and Oxfordshire. It is renowned for its classic British market towns, historic walking trails, and honey-colored cottages, making it an ideal tourist destination.

Without prior authorization, content cannot be displayed.

Kourtney, who rose to fame on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, didn’t quite delve into the destinations she visited during her stay in the area. However, the Oxford Mail previously claimed that Gloucestershire’s Stow-on-the-Wold was featured, in addition to Estelle Manor near Witney.

Stow-on-the-Wold is among the Cotswolds’ cosy towns and is often considered an area of outstanding natural beauty. It’s less than two hours from London by train and offers frequent markets, an array of traditional tea rooms and the stunning St. Edward’s Church.

Local sources claim the doors of this church may have even inspired J.R.R. Tolkien’s Doors of Durin, the west gate of Moria shown in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.

US socialite Kourtney Kardashian and husband US musician Travis Barker arrive for the 75th Emmy Awards at the Peacock Theatre at L.A. Live in Los Angeles on January 15, 2024.

Beyond that, Stow-on-the-Wold is only a 40-minute drive from Shakespeare’s birthplace and Warwick’s historic Warwick Castle.

Kourtney’s other reported stop-off at Estelle Manor is approximately 40 minutes by car from Stow-on-the-Wold, too. Estelle Manor is an award-winning country house hotel on an 85-acre Oxfordshire estate.

It is home to Mayfair’s private members’ club Maison Estelle, which is surrounded by more than 3, 000 acres of parkland.

As more users suggested various alternative places to visit in the UK, The Kardashian’s views on the Cotswolds quickly received numerous comments on Instagram.

One person joked: “That’s my local Co-op in the background. Great selection of yellow label sandwiches if you hit it around 5pm.” Meanwhile, another added: “Kourtney please visit Ilford while you’re here! There’s multiple B&Ms, Aldis etc, jump on the central line to Westfield.”

Another person remarked, “You should go to Stoke Luv, really loveleh there xoxo.”

Winless Wales are ‘in a better place’ – Lynn

Head coach Sean Lynn insists Wales are much better off than they were following the Six Nations despite a World Cup campaign without victories.

Prior to being pushed to the bottom of Pool B by defeats by Scotland, Canada, and Fiji, Wales lost all five of their matches earlier this year.

In this game, character was shown, unlike in the Six Nations, Lynn said.

“We’ve shown that we’re brave, capable of moving the ball, and have a driving maul,” he said.

Lynn also repeated what he had previously said when he was named Ioan Cunningham’s replacement earlier this year.

Bringing things together

Everyone wants to make sure we’re getting results, but I’m in it and have already told the players that we’re all going to stand together.

There are challenging times, but with the character and the people, there has been much improvement.

However, we still have a long way to go before our goals are met.

The players will now have a week off before returning to camp to prepare for their World Cup evaluation and then their clubs, primarily Premiership Women’s Rugby (PWR) games, which will debut the new league season.

Lynn, the former Gloucester-Hartpury manager, claims that any success for Wales will depend on how well his players are run in the top tier of England.

He claimed that “they need to be playing.”

JavaScript must be enabled in your browser to play this video.

With the likes of Maisie Davies, Alaw Pyrs, and Seren Lockwood, Lynn’s agenda also includes the Celtic Challenge, which features two teams from Wales, Scotland, and Ireland.

According to Lynn, “The program needs to make sure that we are mirroring what it’s going to be in test match rugby.”

We will be looking at a central point of contact, according to Gwalia Lightning and Brython Thunder, and I have looked at the program.

“Players will be in, and I’ll be looking into running some of that as well.”

While Lynn and the players head home to heal their wounds, Lynn maintains a positive outlook despite the moment’s roar.

There is hope, but it’s proving that we are managing these players and getting them ready for the Six Nations, he said.

‘They won – but have turgid England regressed under Tuchel?’

At the conclusion of their victory over Andorra, England’s players completed the formalities of a lap around Villa Park, but the sight of their applause aimed at thousands of empty seats was the brutal measure of this miserable World Cup qualifier.

In situations like this, the visiting team’s tradition is to calm the crowd at home. The most recent underwhelming display delivered by Thomas Tuchel’s side, in a reverse of the cherished strategy, breathed new life into the atmosphere.

With a 2-0 victory over the ranked 174th-ranked team, England now has done so on four occasions since Tuchel’s World Cup qualifying.

England would need a catastrophic collapse to avoid the start of the World Cup in the summer, but Tuchel’s courageous replacement for Sir Gareth Southgate after Euro 2024 has yet to come.

In fact, Tuchel hasn’t yet given England any identity, whose performance has arguably deteriorated rather than improved since Southgate’s departure following Spain’s defeat in the Euro 2024 final.

After 25 minutes, Andorra defender Christian Garcia headed Noni Madueke’s cross past goalkeeper Iker Alvarez into an own goal to break the deadlock. After 67 minutes, Declan Rice fired in the second from Reece James’ excellent delivery.

On these occasions, the usual cautions apply. And they have merit in some ways.

No matter how turgid and uneventful this was, England carried out what they had to do. Another step closer to the World Cup in 2026.

With no time left to spare, Andorra unleashed a rearguard action, setting up a yellow wall of defensive defiance, with England recording 83% possession and the visitors barely moving out of their own half.

Tuchel will be right to point out that England haven’t yet conceded a goal in World Cup qualifying, despite being hardly underpowered.

And it’s long gone from scoring eight or nine goals against rivals in international football.

In the world rankings, Andorra, which is sandwiched between St Vincent and the Grenadines and Chad, will consider a two-goal defeat as morally superior.

What data are gathered from this quiz?

England’s head coach was delighted by Anderson’s debut.

Elliot Anderson, one of the brighter performers in this subpar England effort, made his debut under Tuchel.

Marcus Rashford, who was on loan from Manchester United from Barcelona, faded after the odd early flourish while Eberechi Eze was kept on the margins and captain Harry Kane struggled.

Although Tuchel insists Rashford is a left-winger, he initially lost his self-assurance and started to fade as the game progressed. On Tuesday, Tuchel might have to look for alternatives in Belgrade.

The most difficult challenge of Tuchel’s rule will be presented by Serbia in those harsher settings. Tuchel’s new England will face a real test, and they must do better.

There was little action in this film that was necessary for more urgency and aggression.

The statistics do not always support what Tuchel’s side’s team did in June when they defeated Andorra 1-0, despite Tuchel himself saying this was an improved performance.

Shots dropped from 20 to 11, and big chances fell to six to four. Expected goals dropped from four to four goals, while the opposition box touches decreased from 52 to 41.

Although England’s initial plan was to move the ball forward more quickly, the overall percentage of forward passes was 23% higher than the team’s vs. Andorra game’s.

Tuchel insists that England is making progress. If they are, they move at a snail’s pace.

The head coach of England, Anderson, was delighted with his debut, but there are areas where he wants to improve.

Tuchel remarked, “I believe we missed some small opportunities to quicken the game.” Eberechi Eze may not have had the best day possible when he was at number 10. He did a lot of his training, but he had some issues with his decision-making.

Noni Madueke’s final pass was insufficiently clinical. Although Marcus Rashford had some good moments, he was unable to add an assist. It can happen to a close 5-4-1, as well.
