Celebs Go Dating’s Anna Williamson split from boyfriend after heartbreaking conversation

Anna Williamson, a celebrity go-dating expert, appears to lead a charmed life with her Italian husband and two children, but she claims that her happy ending hasn’t always been easy.

While she’s known for putting famous folk through their paces in the quest for true love on Celebs Go Dating, Anna Williamson isn’t afraid to practise what she preaches when it comes to hard truths and lessons. The presenter and relationship counsellor, 44, is happily married to fitness coach Alex Di Pasquale, and they share two children, but her path to happily-ever-after hasn’t all been smooth sailing.

Anna says she always knew she wanted to become a mum and, in her early thirties, was faced with the prospect of choosing between staying with her then boyfriend who didn’t want children, or walking away from the relationship and “starting again”. “My partner at the time was hesitant about having a family. I knew that from the beginning, and he knew that I really did want a family,” she tells OK! as we sit down for an exclusive catch-up.

We shared a lot of love for one another, and I believe both of us hoped to find some sort of balance or compromise. But then, we needed to engage in a significant conversation at the end of our five-year relationship.

He had to be very honest and say that wasn’t in his plan, even though I was focused on starting a family at some point in the near future. Both of us were right and wrong, and it was painful, but honesty was also very important. One of us would have been let down by life if we had greenlit either way.

So at 33, working as an agony aunt on This Morning and presenting on Big Brother’s Bit On The Side, Anna found herself single but wanting a baby, and was feeling “desperate”. But, as she now advises many of her clients, she decided to arm herself with knowledge and information rather than make any rash decisions that would come back to bite her years down the line.

She says, “I could have easily chosen the wrong partner just to tick that box.” As a relationship coach, I hear this a lot. Everyone has a propensity for thinking, “Well, if I meet someone now, it’ll probably take so many months before I can try for a baby, and then it might take this long months to conceive.”

We all believed that a traditional path was required, but now that we are aware that there are other ways to go about things, and we have them all.”

Anna, who is currently coaching the likes of Kerry Katona and Mark Labbett on the set of E4’s Celebs Go Dating, describes the timeline planning as a form of “mental maths”, which is often based on outdated ideas of fertility and relationships. Rather than give in to the pressure of the maths, she underwent a host of fertility tests to understand exactly where she stood and what her options might be.

She was informed of her fertility decline, hormone levels, options for freezing eggs, and other information. She claims that the issue is that we don’t talk about fertility enough. We are unsure of our choices. However, having knowledge is power, and I didn’t want to be in a panic.

I was enjoying my career, and I didn’t want to find a relationship just to find one. However, I also understood that I was very important to having children. Therefore, knowing my fertility health meant I had no fear and had all my options available.

Anna joined Celebs Go Dating in 2019, and has coached stars from Ulrika Jonsson and Pete Wicks to Vanessa Feltz and Ella Morgan. While many of the celebs are there to learn the healthy basics of choosing the right partner, she says the topic of having children is one of the most common she hears in her private therapist work.

Anna’s advice to people is clear: talk about it early and honestly, based on her experience, coaching, and training. She says it’s crucial to figure out what their needs are versus what they want, which I tell a lot of clients. Is becoming a parent a need or a desire given that we only have one chance at life?

“If there is a same-sex couple, it’s crucial for the woman to be aware of what she wants and what options she has, and that needs to be shared between the couple.

Because “the rest of our relationship is good,” I see couples having those difficult conversations. However, those crucial discussions are what are most important for dictating your future. Heartbreak should be avoided as soon as possible because it will happen if it does.

Anna claims that she’s seen far too many “fed bull***t” in particular because their partners weren’t completely transparent about having children or didn’t go into enough detail about having children.

Anna is currently working with assisted reproductive technology provider FutureLife and healthcare firm CooperSurgical on their Let’s Talk Fertility campaign, which tackles what she feels are worrying statistics.

According to research, over a third of UK adults see fertility as an “uncomfortable” topic of conversation, and almost half think fertility education should be taught in schools to address that. One person who is about to shine a very bright spotlight on the subject is 44-year-old reality star Gemma Collins.

The former TOWIE favourite, who also took part in Celebs Go Dating back in 2020, announced recently that she’s making an eight-part documentary titled Gemma Collins: Four Weddings And A Baby, as she plans her wedding to fiancé Rami Hawash and takes the first steps towards “starting a family”.

Anna claims Gemma’s sharing of her experience earns her nothing but respect. She says, “You don’t enter any fertility treatment lightly.” Anybody going down that path, regardless of age, should be respected for it because of the financial considerations involved with it as well as the emotional, physical, and psychological challenges that come with them.

There is a lot of stigma attached to fertility at 40, and it just isn’t appropriate. “I really appreciate the fact that she’s putting a spotlight on it. I sincerely wish her the best of luck.

After giving birth to Vincenzo, the first child of her and Alex’s, Anna returned for another fertility test before conceiving her fifth child, Eleanora. She had additional tests last year, so let’s see where she stands with the possibility of a third child.

“I was told that my eggs would probably be dust by now, but I was actually told that I had very good fertility.” Therefore, I could have looked into fertility treatments, possibly creating an embryo, or something else if I did want another baby last year. Even at the age of 44, I still feel very confident knowing where I’m at.

Anna serves as the campaign’s official spokesperson in collaboration with CooperSurgical and FutureLife.

Over 300 South Koreans to return home after arrests at US Hyundai plant

More than 300 South Korean workers were detained in the US during an immigration raid at a Georgian factory, according to the South Korean government’s announcement.

Kang Hoon-sik, the US’s top official, announced on Sunday that negotiations had been closed regarding the release of the workers who had been detained by US immigration authorities on Thursday.

He claimed that South Korea intends to charter a plane so that workers can return home as soon as the remaining administrative tasks are finished.

When hundreds of federal agents raided Hyundai’s sprawling manufacturing facility in Georgia, where the Korean automaker produces electric vehicles, the US immigration authorities announced on Friday that they had detained 475 people, the majority of them South Korean nationals.

A spokesperson claimed that the raid’s immigration component was conducted as part of a more extensive, month-long investigation into labor practices at the site.

A caravan of vehicles approached the site and were captured on video by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Saturday, with federal agents directing workers to line up outside.

As some detainees were frisked, then shackled around their hands, ankles, and waists, they were instructed to place their hands up against a bus.

Trump targets the workforce of immigrants.

Since Donald Trump’s re-election in January, ICE has been helped by record funding and new latitude for raids as part of a crackdown on immigrants and refugees.

According to preliminary Census Bureau data, the US labor force lost more than 1.2 million immigrants between January and July, according to the Pew Research Center.

The president has stated that he wants to deport “the worst of the worst” criminals. However, ICE data indicate a rise in non-criminal detention.

This most recent raid demonstrates how disruptive Trump’s anti-immigration crackdown is infecting his efforts to entice foreign investment. The state of Georgia has the largest foreign investment, including the Hyundai-LG complex.

The $ 7.6 billion plant, home to about 1,200 people, is the biggest automaker in South Korea, which started producing electric vehicles a year ago. An adjacent battery plant, which will be constructed in the coming year, has been constructed in collaboration with LG Energy Solution.

Agents concentrated their efforts on the construction-going plant.

A Folkston, Georgia immigration detention facility close to the Florida state line was where the majority of the detained people were taken. Steven Schrank, the lead Georgia agent for Homeland Security Investigations, stated at a press conference on Friday that no crimes have been filed, adding that the investigation is still pending.

A “serious risk to the nation”

A close ally of the US, South Korea, expressed “concern and regret” over the raid’s sending of diplomats.

South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Hyun remarked on Saturday that President Lee Jae-myung had given officials instructions to resolve the issue, stating that neither the rights nor the businesses that invest in the US should be violated, as Yonhap News Agency reported in a report.

The detentions “could pose a serious risk” to the country, according to South Korea’s opposition People Power Party (PPP).

Lee’s “pragmatic diplomacy” toward the US, according to senior PPP spokesman Park Sung-hoon, “failed to ensure both the safety of citizens and the competitiveness of South Korean businesses.”

How did India-US relations decline so suddenly?

How a trade war between the US and India resulted from India’s refusal to acknowledge Trump’s mediation during the brief conflict with Pakistan.

As a counterbalance to China in Asia for decades, the United States has been attracting India.

However, after Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi refused to accept US President Donald Trump’s demand that his country’s military conflict be ended in May, Trump imposed 50 percent tariffs on Indian goods that entered the country. Additionally, he urged New Delhi to stop purchasing subsidized Russian oil.

McColgan third in Great North Run as Chepkirui wins

Media PA

Sheila Chepkirui of Kenya won the Great North Run women’s race, beating Eilish McColgan of Britain, who came in third.

In the final stages, Chepkirui and Vivian Cheruiyot lost ground to the Scot, and despite a late push, she was unable to defeat them.

Chepkirui defeated her compatriot Cheruiyot by five seconds, and McColgan by ten seconds, to claim the victory in one hour, nine minutes, and 32 seconds.

Although the weather was excellent, Chepkirui, 34, said, “There was a lot of wind.”

The 34-year-old described today as “tough conditions.” “We had a headwind pretty much the entire race up until that very last mile,” the early morning hours of the race seemed to be out of the question.

We started the year off much more slowly than we did last year. It was a special day because there was no rain compared to last year and the crowds were strong.

Kenya’s Alex Mutiso, 28, won in 1:100.52 in the men’s race after a final-second race.

Abel Kipchumba, who won the race last year, was nine seconds behind the winner in third place, while Bashir Abdi of Belgium was six seconds further in second place.

Ben Connor placed fourth in the men’s race in 1:02.57, making him the highest-placed Briton.

Sean Frame, a fellow Briton, won the men’s wheelchair race in 49:24, adding to his 2021 victory.

In 52: 38, Simon Lawson placed second, followed by Anton Shepherd, who placed third.

Although it was a little of a headwind, Frame remarked of the race’s success.

I was second last year, so it didn’t bother me much. I just put my best foot forward this year, performing it as best I could, and using my weaknesses as much as possible, and it paid off.

In a time of 1:05.24, Italy’s Rita Curuccu came second, and Mel Nicholls of Great Britain came home in 1:22.22.

Nicholls remarked, “I loved it, it was so much fun. The wind was insane.

‘Katie Price and Kerry Katona’s show was a terrifying experience – but I’d go again’

It’s not an easy job for a journalist to sit in the audience while Katie Price and Kerry Katona discuss their issues with the media, but Zoe Delaney would enjoy doing it once more.

When I remember taking my NCTJ exams more than I can recall, my tutor said working as a journalist would frequently necessitate bravery and occasionally put one in danger.

He was not watching those who would spend a Saturday night watching Katie Price and Kerry Katona chat on stage in a Lancashire seaside town, but rather watching students who wanted to pursue careers as war correspondents or find out about establishment ties.

However, watching the showbiz veterans explain how the media can occasionally treat them unfairly in front of a crowd that made it clear their ride or die for their idols while sitting in the audience of Marine Hall in Fleetwood made it very much feel like being on the frontlines.

However, once I realized I was encircled by Kerry and Katie’s stans and stopped worrying that I would be exposed as a sniveling reporter, I actually had a good time.

There was plenty to talk about between Kerry and Katie, who have been a household name for almost three decades and have a whopping 13 autobiographies together.

Kerry, who was quick-witted and self-aggrandizing, undoubtedly took the lead on the tour’s opening night. The mother-of-five made fun of her frequently turbulent love life while also expressing her sincere concerns about her mental health issues. It’s obvious Kerry uses humor as a defense mechanism, much to the delight of the audience, who was laughing all the way through, and it’s certainly a talent to speak so openly about traumatic events without ruining the “Hen Do” vibe in the room.

Katie also addressed Peter Andre’s management team and her struggles with mental health. The reality TV star opened both acts while serenading the audience after returning from the iTunes Charts.

Fans of Katie herself would admit that she lacks the vocals of a Grammy-winning singer, but Katie is more than happy to oblige. They only want to see their idol having fun on stage.

Over the years, I’ve attended numerous celebrity talks and “A Nighting With” events, which are often well-planned and boring affairs.

Given how frequently Ryan Reynolds and Rob Delaney criticized his numerous business ventures, sitting inside The O2 made me feel like I had unintentionally entered the wrong conference room in a hotel and was being pressured into buying a timeshare when I watched him speak with him for the Just For Laughs festival in 2023.

I finally had an excuse to leave when I received a message letting me know my dear grandad had passed away during the supposed comedy event. It was almost comforting.

I wasn’t anticipating that anyone I knew would pop their clogs while I was watching Kerry and Katie on stage. They may not possess the Hollywood star power or the bank balances that Marvel investors have, but they do possess a better understanding of what their supporters want.

What do their supporters want, then? A cup of tea and a laugh. And there’s no denying that Katie and Kerry have tea to spill.

Why is this news, if you’re a commenter? This tour is not for you if you have heard about two of the country’s most well-known women.

You’d be hard pressed to find a better night out for less than £30 if you only have a passing interest in celebrity culture and a fervent fan of gossip.
