A Married At First Sight UK star has claimed he was banned from appearing on Celebs Go Dating, despite pleas for him to do so.

Georges Berthonneau has revealed he was not welcomed on Celebs Go Dating, despite begging producers to give him a chance.

The reality star, who is known for appearing on the 2023 series of MAFS, said he was eager to go on the celebrity Channel 4 dating show. But according to Georges, he was quickly knocked back.

“I would be brilliant on a show like that,” he told The Sun. “I did Celebs Go Dating years ago, but they’re not interested. They said they’re not interested. They don’t want anyone from MAFS, they only wanted Ella [Morgan].”

When Georges, 31, suggested he would make compelling television, his employers allegedly refused to even hear him out.

He said, “You’re missing out on a trick here.” You may show you some of my older, illustrious photos. No one has ever done that, in my opinion. You would have a completely different story.

Georges previously appeared on Celebs Go Dating back in 2018, where he was paired up with TOWIE favourite Chloe Sims. Despite his recent rejection from E4 bosses, the reality star insists he would jump at the chance to take part in another romantic series.

She made a jab at her ex-husband last October, saying that “boys like attention, especially when boys haven’t had the attention before.” They tend to be a little big-headed, in my opinion.

The couple split at the start of 2024, when Peggy accused Georges of cheating after receiving messages showing him on dates with another woman.

Peggy claims that during a romantic getaway in Paris, he started to doubt her. They parted ways at the end of January of that year, and a girl contacted the Kent local to offer ‘proof’ that Georges and someone else were having affairs in December of that year.

Thomas Skinner, the star of Strictly Come Dancing, claimed that his wife Sinead overtly condoleed him over her affair with Amy-Lucy O’Rourke.

Thomas has now explained how his wife managed to forgive him for the fling and how she feels the same way about it.

He said, “I know the mistakes I’ve made in my life, but it was awful for my poor wife to read it all, which is why I feel bad.”

Due to his centre-right political stance, outspoken rants on X, and connections to Donald Trump’s vice president JD Vance, Thomas’ signing hasn’t been a popular choice among Strictly fans. However, the Apprentice star has maintained a positive outlook on his Strictly journey.

Professional dancer Amy sent a message to her partner ahead of his first live performance dance with Amy Dowden.

She wrote, “Today is the day! ” on Instagram. I’m so excited to dance on the magical @bbcstrictly floor with my amazing partner @iamtomskinner for the first live performance. Watching Tom develop a love for dancing and seeing improvement each day has been such a wonderful experience.
