Jessie J’s emotional message as she makes stage return after cancer treatment

Jessie J, a performer for BBC Radio 2 in the park, returned to the stage for the event in Essex to share a message with the audience after being diagnosed with cancer.

Singer-songwriter Jessie J returned to the stage this afternoon following her cancer treatment. She shared a message with the audience at a festival, which included her warning that “we never know when our last day will be”.

Jessie, 37, announced in June that she’d been diagnosed with “early” breast cancer and later revealed that she had surgery following the diagnosis. Last month, she shared that her tour had been delayed, with her telling fans that she needed to have a second operation by the end of this year.

She’s since returned to the stage for the first time, with her having been among the line-up for BBC Radio 2 in the Park at Hylands Park in Chelmsford today. Jessie spoke about her cancer diagnosis in a speech to the crowd in Essex.

After playing Domino, Jessie addressed the audience. She remarked, “I had breast cancer surgery 11 weeks ago today, and at the time I did it, I had no idea what was going to happen.” And I’m still in the recovery phase.

She continued, “I’m just so grateful to be here,” she told the audience. You have no idea how thankful I am to have so many of you back after so many years. I really feel like a young child who continues to pursue my passions.

The BRIT Award winner continued by revealing that her two-year-old son Sky was watching her performance from the side of the stage. She continued, “My son is seeing me sing on stage for the first time, which is another unique thing that is happening today.” She addressed him by saying, “Hi Sky. Hello, my child. I adore you.

The song Living My Best Life, which was released in May, was introduced by Jessie. What is the subject of this song, she said. Literally two weeks before the release of this song, I was diagnosed, and everyone said, “Let’s stop, let’s just put everything on hold,” and I responded, “That’s not what life’s about.” In a storm, holding up your umbrella and moving forward is what you’re supposed to do.

She continued, “Music is a healer for me, not to mention you guys. What inspires me to wake up in the morning is music, which also gives me life’s excitement. And I’m appreciative of creating music that can provide others with what they might need on a difficult or pleasant day.

According to Jessie, “Living My Best Life is what I’m living my best life is all about.” She remarked to the audience, “Before our last day is never going to come, so soak up this, hug the people you love, and enjoy”!

The singer said: “Unfortunately, I have a second surgery. It needs to be done by the end of this year. This is at the very end of the tour I had planned. I’m so sorry, but I’m frustrated and depressed. I need to be better and more whole.

EastEnders’ Jamie Borthwick dramatically axed by BBC bosses after 19 years

According to the Mirror, after discussions with show bosses, actor Jamie Borthwick, who has been a member since 2006, has been fired.

Jamie Borthwick, an EastEnders actor, has been let go by the BBC after 19 years. The 31-year-old, one of the longest-serving cast members on the hit show, was informed that Albert Square was over.

BBC Studios, which makes the soap, said: “We can confirm that Jamie Borthwick will not be returning to EastEnders. We do not comment on individual matters.”

This week, the actor who plays funeral home manager Jay Brown was spotted picking up bread and ham from a store close to his home and appearing dejected and unshaven. He may have been informed of the decision only recently.

He was given a suspended sentence in June for describing Blackpool residents as offensive to those with disabilities while filming Strictly in the seaside resort.

His language, which was discovered in a video on a phone, was “entirely unacceptable and in no way reflects the values or standards we hold and expect,” according to the BBC at the time.

The disability charity Scope advised Jamie to reflect on his statements and become educated. We hope he takes the opportunity to learn about the daily lives of those with disabilities.

Jamie reportedly returned to the set this month to resume filming following his suspension. The BBC stated in a statement that “each case is always considered on its own facts,” adding that “we are very clear on our expectations that inappropriate behavior and language will not be tolerated.”

However, the actor has now been shown the door by bosses. After using the slur, Jamie publicly apologized and received two awards, including a British Soap Award for best dramatic performance from a 13-year-old actor and an Inside Soap Award for best actor.

In June, he said, “I’m deeply sorry for any offence and upset my words and actions have caused.” There is no justification for my ignorance of the offensive term I used and its definition. That completely irritates me. I am now aware that I directed the phrase in the manner that I did, and that I am deeply embarrassed to have used it. It was incorrect.

I was “excited and enthralled at the time I made the video.” Again, there is no justification. However, my regrettable deeds do not accurately reflect who I am or what my opinions are.

“I thoroughly enjoyed my time in both the Blackpool Tower Ballroom and the town itself.” The Strictly crew, dancers, and cast members have always been amazing to Blackpool residents… I apologize in full.

The actor won the Strictly Christmas special in 2023 and competed in last year’s series, when he was paired with professional dancer Michelle Tsiakkas.

He made it to Blackpool Week, but he was later removed from the election. His controversial appearance on Strictly included the slur. After a video of him and fellow contestant Wynne Evans laughing backstage and carrying a sex toy on the live tour, the actor was labeled “immature.”

Jamie allegedly shared the clip on the contestants’ WhatsApp group. BBC bosses were reportedly unimpressed and reminded both contestants of their responsibilities. Opera singer Wynne, 53, was later axed from the Strictly tour after using a sexual remark, which he later denied.

Given that it was a family show, the men were acting incredibly immature and inappropriately, according to a source who spoke for another publication. Many cast members didn’t share their crude humor.

Bosses were “horrified and shocked,” hoping to fix the problem before the video was made public.

This newspaper contacted Jamie to request comment.

The couple are yet to publicly address the speculation that the marriage is over. The Mirror has contacted a representative of Georgia for comment.

The star’s business was destroyed in a fire in June, and things only got worse. She later disclosed online that she had been working as a nail technician for four years, along with acting.

“Unfortunately, last night, a massive fire broke out in the storage world unit in Middleton, causing my beautiful little studio to be affected. Many other people’s businesses have fallen, too, just like mys. Along with other people’s most prized possessions. They all have my heart.

Kerry Katona has confessed she now has an “unbelievable” sex life after finding a spark with her new toy boy. The candid confession comes as she also revealed she knew she would never have married her ex, Ryan Mahoney.

She said, “Never had anyone to look after me,” after explaining her feelings following the split. She now has a new man to keep her company and is moving on in life.

Kerry confirmed that Paolo Margaglione is dating, firmly putting her heartache in the past. The couple first met while filming together for the E4 dating show in Ibiza.

Kerry recently told the Sun, “Oh, it’s f****** unbelievable,” in reference to her newly discovered intense chemistry. Sincerely, I’m still stifled by words today!

I vehemently denied that I was interested in meeting anyone. Nobody seemed to be interested in me at all. Godly and sincere. When I used to say, “I’m doing it on my own era,” I now actually ache when I’m not with him. She acknowledged that she could not deny that their passion was “electric.”

How I feel right now, regardless of whether or not this turns out to be true, I can’t deny these feelings. She gushed, “It’s electric.” Kelly added that the emotions agitate her and cause her to feel giddy.

Kerry continued to say that she has “really tried” in each relationship and marriage. She admitted to never seeing herself marrying Ryan, though.

She acknowledged that marriage was never really in her mind despite labeling their time together as “significant.” I was aware that Ryan and I were never going to get married. That’s why we never did that.

She has since praised Paolo’s communication abilities and claimed that she finds his talk alluring. Kerry praised his charisma and the amount of energy he exude, claiming that there are never any awkward situations.

The singer described how they all enjoy their time together as amazing and how they both enjoy it as a family. Paolo has two young children while Kerry is a four-year-old mother.

She was recently praised her new man on her 45th birthday. The 33-year-old shared a glowing Instagram post, uploading one picture of himself posing with Kerry.

Helen Flanagan cuts asking price on huge mansion after revealing sad reason for move

Helen Flanagan, a former Coronation Street star, made the announcement that she would move into her home earlier this year for a new start, and this week the asking price for her home was reduced.

Former Celebs Go Dating star Helen Flanagan has now reduced the price of the mansion that she once shared with Scott Sinclair after putting it on the market. It’s said to be the second time the price has dropped in just four months.

Helen, 35, had announced her plans to move house on a podcast released in April after four years at the property near Bolton. She had initially lived there with Scott, 36, and their three children, prior to the couple’s split in 2022.

The former Coronation Street actress revealed at the time that she would be “downsizing” and having a fresh start, with her admitting that the home was “a lot to like keep on top of”. The house has since been on the market.

The asking price was lowered earlier this week to £995,000. The house, which has six bedrooms, was last sold for £840,000 in 2021, but Helen previously stated: “I put a lot of my savings into doing the house up and stuff, and making it look really beautiful.

Helen put the property on the market in May, according to the Daily Mail. According to reports, this week’s update is the second time she’s lowered the price of the £1.5 million mansion since listing it for sale four months ago.

She then reduced it, according to the report, to around £1.2 million four weeks later. After paying taxes and legal fees, she is supposed to “barely break even” after purchasing the house for £840,000 four years ago.

Helen recently dismissed the suggestion that she is selling the home due to financial issues. She’s previously discussed experiencing financial difficulties and said in January that she was “really struggling”, but she’s since told the Mirror that she needed a “fresh start” by living elsewhere.

She stated last month, “I’m not in a financial crisis.” I’m moving because I really need a new beginning. This home, which was always meant to be our happy family home, surprised me with Scott. And that wasn’t it. There is a sadness in this house, she said, “I hate it when it sounds depressing.”

Helen announced her plans to move house on the Declutter Hub Podcast earlier this year. She on an episode released in April: “I think it will be better for me, actually, to be honest with you, to live in a small house because I think it might be more manageable for me.”

The soap star, who at the time described it as an eight-bedroom home, claimed that her home was a “big house.” She remarked, “I feel really lucky to live here because it’s beautiful but it’s a lot to keep on top of,” adding, “I’m happy to have lived here.”

Helen – who has spoken about her mental health in recent years, as well as financial difficulties – suggested that she wanted “a change”. She said on the podcast: “I feel like I want like a change because, even though everything’s great now, it’s been a really kind of quite heavy few years for me.”
