Known for her amazing and covetable accessories, Kate’s jewellery may seem out of reach for the average shopper. Though many of the pieces she wears are designer or passed down from generations, it doesn’t mean you can’t copy her look with similar items, without breaking the bank.

One pair of earrings the Princess of Wales wears regularly to formal occasions is her Collingwood pearl drop earrings that used to belong to Princess Diana. Now it appears they have been passed on to Kate, who has worn them to various events in the years since she married Prince William. And we’ve found a pair that looks just like hers.

Though not identical to the real thing, these Cellacity Classic 925 Drop Earrings emulate Diana and Kate’s earrings in their raindrop silhouette and elegant simplicity. Featuring similar gems to those in Kate’s earrings, to create a sparkle that catches the light with every movement, these earrings feature the same solitary pearl drop motif as the Collingwood set in Kate’s jewellery collection.

The Collingwood pair that Kate reaches for time and time again boasts an antique aesthetic that is both timeless and endlessly elegant, with a touch of antique opulence that elevates any look on any occasion. These Cellacity earrings mirror the Collingwood set with an equally classic design that is both ageless and still contemporary for modern-day wear.

Before marrying Prince Charles in 1981, Diana was gifted the incredible pair of pearl earrings from Collingwood Jewellers (jewellers of the Spencer family) as a wedding present. The earrings appear to have become firm favourites with her as she wore them many times, including on royal tours of Australia, Canada, and Italy.

This pair retails for £42.99 on Amazon, making it affordable to copy one of Kate’s signature looks without a royal budget or your own personal jeweller.

Strictly’s Annabel Croft admits show ‘saved her from sinking’ after husband’s death

Strictly Come Dancing star, Annabel Croft, has praised the BBC dance show after reaching the semi-finals of the star-studded series in 2023 with Johannes Radebe

Annabel Croft admits she was ‘saved’ by Strictly Come Dancing after signing up to the show within a few weeks of tragically losing her husband. The tennis star, 58, was bereft when her husband and the father of her three children, Mel Coleman, died in 2023 aged 60, just eight weeks after being diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer.

Insisting she didn’t want to be a “professional widow”, Annabel said yes to Strictly and wowed the audience and judges alike, reaching the semi-finals with her professional partner, Johannes Radebe. Praising the show for ‘stopping her from sinking’ while she navigated her grief, she said: “Literally within a few weeks [of losing him] I was on the phone to my agent. I don’t know what I would have done without being busy. I would have sunk.”

She continues in The Telegraph: “There is so much to be positive about. I don’t want to be a professional widow. I understand that a lot of people can identify with what I’ve been through, but I don’t want grief to define me.”

Annabel recently revealed that her husband had heartbreakingly kept his symptoms from her before he saw a doctor. Speaking on the Mid.Point podcast, she said: “We were making the bed one day and he just turned to me and he said ‘I haven’t told you this Annabel, but I’ve got these funny pains in my side and they’re just not going away, they’re getting worse’.”

The mum-of-three continued: “It never dawned on me that it could be something so absolutely catastrophic.” After the results of Mel’s scans came back, Annabel said the doctors were “absolutely horrified because they knew that he wouldn’t have much time left”

She explained: “Outside before we went in, Mel had said to me in the car park ‘I’m really worried about this meeting’, and I said ‘Oh, don’t worry about it – of course it’s going to be fine. You know, maybe you just have a cyst that’s going to have to be removed’.

“But the very first thing out of the surgeon’s mouth was ‘I’m afraid your life expectancy’s not very good.”

After being dealt the devastating diagnosis, Annabel said Mel’s cancer had spread to the liver and kidneys and possibly the brain before he eventually died from sepsis.

She shared: “People don’t realise this. He had stage four cancer. It started with colon cancer, but it could have been across everywhere at the same time. But it spread into the liver, it was spread into the kidneys, even possibly into the brain as well. But what he actually died of was sepsis and there was a perforation from one of the tumours.

“We’d gone on this flight to Portugal thinking he was going to get some sunshine and some respite from all of his treatment. I think maybe on that flight it may have just swollen something and perforated one of the tumours.”

During the first Strictly pairing show two years ago, Annabel opened up about her husband’s unexpected death and heartbreakingly admitted that Mel would have loved to have seen her on the dance floor.

She said that it was always his “dream” for her to be on the show, saying she “wished more than anything” that Mel could see her performing.

British rapper, Yung Filly, is facing two new sexual assault charges relating to the assault of a woman while he was on tour in Australia. Filly – whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos – was charged with rape and other offences over an alleged sexual assault on a woman in the country last year.

In March, he pleaded not guilty to three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, one of strangulation and four counts of sexual penetration without consent. However, according to court documents filed on Friday, the YouTuber, 29, faces two new counts of sexual penetration without consent, and no plea has been entered for them.

The incident is alleged to have taken place on 28 September. Filly had been touring Australia at the time of the alleged offences.

Filly appeared at Perth Magistrates Court for an initial hearing on October 10, 2024 where he was granted conditional bail. The bail terms stated that he did not discuss the case on social media, or contact the alleged victim.

The rapper appeared in Perth Magistrates Court for a second time on March 11, 2025, and pleaded not guilty to all charges. He was told to appear in the District Court of Western Australia on July 13.

On June 13, two new charges of sexual penetration without consent were filed against Filly.

During a court hearing in November, the British-Colombian saw his bail request put on hold until later that day. ABC Australia covered the story, noting that Perth barrister Seamus Rafferty SC is representing the entertainer.

Rafferty commented on the denied bail, stating: “This has already made headlines. Given the nature of social media, the nature of people jumping on bandwagons, given the nature of (the) power imbalance between the parties.”

A TikTok video from Perth’s Bar1 Nightclub went viral last year, showcasing Filly – who has appeared in Channel 4’s The Great Celebrity Bake Off – performing at the venue. Meanwhile, in a sombre contrast, images depicting injuries allegedly sustained by a woman were presented to the court.

“No ordinary person can consent in those circumstances,” stated the prosecutor in reference to the gruesome photos, adding: “Across her body is a history of violent acts, … we say those photos and what is alleged is beyond the pale, beyond what could be considered to be a consensual act.”

Filly, who was born in Colombia and moved to London aged two as a refugee with his mum and sister began his YouTube career in 2013 before releasing his debut single Take Time in 2017.

He went onto host shows Hot Property and Don’t Scream on BBC Three and has also appeared in Soccer Aid and The Great Stand Up to Cancer Bake Off.

Filly’s 10-day trial is scheduled to start on 20 July 2026.

Neighbours star Erin McNaught shares update on baby son after brain tumour diagnosis

Australian model, Erin McNaught, has revealed her seven month old son has undergone surgery to remove a brain tumour after heartbreakingly noticing a ‘rapid decline in his health and happiness’

Former Neighbours star Erin McNaught has told fans her baby son, Obi, has undergone surgery to remove a tumour on his brain following “the hardest few days”. The brave tot was diagnosed with cancer, aged just seven months, after Erin noticed a “rapid decline in his health and happiness”.

Thankfully, the mum-of-three, 43, said Obi’s medical team were “very happy” with how the major operation went this week as she updated followers while thanking them for their support. Taking to Instagram, sharing a snap of herself kissing little Obi, whose head was wrapped up in bandages, in hospital following his operation, she said: “Today Obi had the surgery to remove the tumour. The amazing team here are very happy with the way it went.”

Earlier this week, the former Miss Universe Australia and her music producer partner Stace Cadet shared Obi’s devastating diagnosis. The couple, who welcomed their first child together in October last year, issued a tearjerking joint statement on Thursday morning, as they opened up about their son’s health concerns.

“For the last few weeks we have noticed a rapid decline in Obi’s behaviour and happiness,” the statement began. It continued: “He was having problems eating, sleeping and most recently, keeping his head straight.”

The couple explained that after noticing Obi change so quickly, they booked him in for an MRI scan under the advice of their doctor. The scan, conducted earlier this week, tragically revealed that a large tumour was situated on the right side of his brain.

“At about 6:00pm Tuesday night we met with a neurosurgeon who broke the heartbreaking news,” Erin and Stace continued, adding: “We are absolutely shattered and the last few days have been our hardest days.”

Following Obi’s operation, the proud parents praised the team at Queensland Children’s Hospital, who are now working with Erin and Stace to devise a treatment plan.

“Our team at the Queensland Children Hospital have been incredible and remain hopeful that we can remove the mass and get Obi healthy and happy pending the results,” they concluded.

The post was met with lots of well wishes from from family, friends and fans, including Erin’s ex-husband, British musician, Example, who she shares two children with – sons Evander, seven, and Ennio, five.

In November 2007, Erin was cast as Sienna Cammeniti in Neighbours. She said she was “nervous” about joining the show because it was “a big change” to the modelling work she was known for.

Reclusive superstar hailed ‘next Prince’ vanished from spotlight and changed name

Terence Trent D’Arby shot to fame in the 1980s after releasing his debut studio album, but after just a few years, his music career came to an abrupt halt and he disappeared from the limelight

The 1980s was a decade that produced some iconic music legends, including Prince, Michael Jackson, and Whitney Houston. However, one name that was once mentioned alongside these stars has largely faded into obscurity.

Terence Trent D’Arby exploded onto the scene in 1987, following a whirlwind of publicity surrounding his music. Just a few years prior, he had been an amateur boxer and a soldier in the US army.

His debut studio album, Introducing The Hardline According to Terence Trent D’Arby, generated significant buzz after he claimed it was as groundbreaking as The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Although his bold statements about his work earned him a reputation, the album proved to be a hit, featuring some of his most popular tracks, including If You Let Me Stay, Sign Your Name, and Dance Little Sister. Critics praised the album, which won him a Grammy and a BRIT award, drawing comparisons to music legends like Prince, Michael Jackson, and Sam Cooke.

Reflecting on that time and his provocative statement, the singer told The Guardian: “I said a lot of s***, but Muhammad Ali was one of my heroes, and I similarly realised that if you say outrageous things, it gets attention.

“As a young artist, you’ve got to get your work heard and to a degree, I hypnotised myself into believing I was a genius. It worked like a charm, but I didn’t understand the degree I’d have to pay for that.”

However, just as he gained momentum, his commercial success abruptly ended with the release of his second album Neither Fish nor Flesh in 1989. The album’s different sound failed to resonate with fans and critics, halting his promising career.

Four years later, after moving to Los Angeles, D’Arby released his third album, Symphony or Damn, which showed promise but couldn’t match his original hits. He then became a recluse, rarely leaving his California mansion, as per the Mirror US.

In 2001, he made headlines again by changing his name to Sananda Maitreya, stating: “Terence Trent D’Arby was dead… he watched his suffering as he died a noble death. After intense pain, I meditated for a new spirit, a new will, a new identity.”

Maitreya released new music under his new name, without big-label backing, and left Los Angeles for a quieter life. He moved to Munich, then Milan in 2002, and married Italian architect and television host Francesca Francone the following year.
