Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi has said he is struggling to accept Ozzy Osbourne’s death and says it has affected the band “bad”. The rock icon died on Tuesday, aged 76, just weeks after his farewell concert in Birmingham.

Ozzy’s heartbroken family shared the sad news, as they revealed he was surrounded by love until the end. Fans and fellow musicians have flocked to share their tributes to the Prince of Darkness, including his former bandmates.

Since meeting at school in Aston, Birmingham, Tony and Ozzy have been friends. They remained close friends for 57 years, but now Tony is attempting to reconcile with Ozzy’s demise.

It’s been challenging, simply put, because it’s a shock. Since hearing this, I haven’t been able to properly organize myself. He claimed that it has been “incredibly strange.”

Tony explained that Geezer Butler, a Black Sabbath star, and Tony have been having conversations about the same issues. He is essentially the same; he just can’t come together. He acknowledged that it has had a negative impact on us.

“It’s challenging for me to fully accept that right now. I still believe he is there, and I continue to text him, but he is no longer there.

The band and Ozzy’s hometown band met just over two weeks ago for Ozzy’s Back to the Beginning concert. Ozzy remained committed to playing the stage one last time despite his health.

We had rehearsals, and Ozzy arrived, but because of the pressure, we didn’t want to do too much with Oz, Tony said. He actually wanted to do it, but we didn’t want to force him to say, “Let’s do that again.”

“But I’m glad we did it, and I’m glad we did it because it really inspired him.” Tony explained how the concert gave Ozzy something to focus on and “work toward.”

Tony told the BBC: “It was really worth doing for all of us, for the band to be together on our final thing, not knowing Ozzy was gonna pass away shortly afterwards, but just to get together again because we’ve been trying to get the original four back for years.”

Ozzy played his epic farewell show in his hometown of Birmingham just over two weeks before his death. He was joined by huge stars across rock at his Back to the Beginning concert, where he took to the stage as a solo artist and with Black Sabbath for one last time.

As Guns N’ Roses, KoRn, Tool, Slayer, Pantera, Metallica, Alice In Chains, Gojira, Anthrax, and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler all performed, he “raised” a ton of money for charity.

Ozzy’s death was announced by his devastated family, with a statement telling fans: “It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning.

Inside Oasis’ wild afterparties with footballers and free booze as they let loose

As they tour the UK, Liam and Noel Gallagher have been providing their VIP guests with a free bar and music into the early hours.

Oasis have certainly returned in style, and it seems the shows have been carrying on into the night long after Liam and Noel Gallagher walk off stage. The Manchester icons put their long-running feud aside to the delight of fans and kicked off their 2025 world tour earlier this month.

After performing a number of shows in Heaton Park, they made their epic comeback in Cardiff before returning to their beloved home. For the first time since 2009, Liam and Noel are scheduled to make a weekend trip to the capital.

Amid all the attention on stage, it seems there has been plenty of action going on backstage as well. Footballers including Jack Grealish and Phil Foden have rubbed shoulders with Noel and The Verve’s Richard Ashcroft, who has been opening for Oasis each night.

After their first show at Heaton Park, Manchester City’s Grealish is said to have kicked off the partying as he hooked up his phone to a speaker. In a tongue-in-cheek move, he reportedly blasted out Westlife tunes to Happy Mondays’ Shaun Ryder and former Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany.

A source told The Independent, “It’s been a true love-in backstage.” A friend and family bar is located there, and it basically serves free booze, including beer, wine, and champagne (of course). It’s similar to attending a wedding every night.

They explained that Liam and Noel’s guests have been having a time of their lives while Cast and Richard Ashcroft’s support acts have been having a time out.

Noel has “never smiled to much” as he soaks up the atmosphere after each performance, according to another source who spoke to the publication.

This weekend, Oasis will play at Wembley, according to many fans, who are predicting that they’ll pay tribute to rock star Ozzy Osbourne. Diogo Jota, a late Liverpool football player who died in a car crash in Spain on July 3, along with his brother, is already the subject of tributes from the band.

The Prince of Darkness once expressed his support for the band by saying, “Everyone says they [Oasis] rip them [The Beatles] off, but I don’t believe so.

In this game, starting a forest fire is “dead simple.” You claim that Ozzy has a fake nose. Everyone suddenly appears the same. Similar to Oasis, too. Everyone simply continued to say it, which remained constant.

Fans who think the Gallagher brothers should pay tribute to the late singer have praised Ozzy’s defense of the band. Fans predict a tribute to the adored singer will undoubtedly be on the program. Guarantee it if you see him at the upcoming Live Forever show.

Another said, “I’ll be shocked if there isn’t at least his face on screen during Live Forever.” They used to be neighbors, and Noel has always praised him in return. Additionally, he gives an incredibly good impression of Ozzy.

Many fans think Live Forever will be dedicated to Osbourne, just like the Cardiff kick-off shows, which paid tribute to Jota.

Ella Henderson has revealed her diagnosis with endometriosis, calling it both “devastating” and “validating” after years of unexplained pain. The 29-year-old X Factor alum shared the news on Instagram, opening up about the emotional and physical toll of the condition that left her doubting her own reality.

The NHS defines Endometriosis as “a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows outside of it, most commonly in the pelvis, around the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and lining of the pelvis. This misplaced tissue can cause inflammation, pain, and potentially fertility issue.”

The Ghost singer acknowledged in a video that revealed her diagnosis that “the past few years have been a bit of a rollercoaster, to say the least, behind the scenes and I’ve really been struggling… with not only stomach bloating and physical pain and mental health, because at one point I thought all this pain was in my head and I wasn’t really believed.”

After years of dealing with confusing and challenging health issues like stomach bloating, bowel pain, and heavy periods, she finally received a diagnosis in January.

I was given the official diagnosis of endometriosis in January of this year, along with countless GP appointments that resulted in scans, tests, and the impression that the pain was all in my head.

Both the bladder and bowel were affected by severe endometriosis and scarring behind her uterus after a laparoscopy.

Endometriosis occurs when cells similar to those found in the womb are found elsewhere in the body, Ella continued, “For those who are unfamiliar with this condition (just like I was only months ago).”

Henderson found comfort in knowing the source of her suffering despite having trouble hearing it: “The diagnosis was difficult to swallow but feels valid and empowering on the other hand. After all, it meant I wasn’t thinking about things and could finally find a way to move forward and take control of my body.

She also cited the larger issue, noting how many people wait for answers by saying, “My long journey to endometriosis is not unique. For many of you, this can take an enormous mental and physical toll on you, as it typically takes up to nine years in the UK.

Ella was open about the psychological effects of living in periods of depression, isolation, and anxiety. I might have been spared if my endometriosis symptoms had been identified sooner.

She’s already had significantly better symptoms after having surgery. She emphasized, however, that her treatment will continue and that management is not a cure.

“Which, in my case, was surgery,” which has so far significantly reduced my symptoms. Unfortunately, endometriosis is not actually treatable, she continued, adding that ongoing management is likely to be a part of my life, whether through lifestyle modifications, pain management, or other treatments.

Fans and other celebrities praised Ella for being “brave” for sharing her diagnosis in her post.

TV and radio star James Whale has shared a devastating insight into his cancer diagnosis as he has just 12 weeks to live. The presenter left his fans heartbroken with his latest update since he was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer in 2020.

He revealed that as he approaches week seven, he is struggling to breathe, speak, hear, and think. James acknowledged that he is forgetful, has a slow speech rate, and experiences pressure sores.

The host has remained committed in sharing updates with his fans as he has carried on his podcast, Tales of the Whales alongside his wife Nadine. On the emotional episode, James shared: “I can’t breathe, I can’t think, I can’t talk.

” Anyway. Good day, everyone. Welcome to our weekly podcast, Tales of the Whales. I have cancer that is five years old. Can you get five? James continued, “I appreciate everyone contacting me and wanting to meet up.

When I make it difficult to get touched up, I’m not being rude. I mean… in touch”. You’re getting too tired, his wife Nadine said, so starting next week, we’ll only allow visitors to be very close friends and family.

I still can’t hear very well, which is more upsetting than anything else, James said. I’ve gotten very slow with my speech before getting forgetful and everything else.

He also mentioned how painful pressure sores were when he said, “I’m tootling along trying to get my breathing sorted and the mark on my bum. People must go through much more, don’t they? Do they”?

James heartbreakingly declared, “Anyway. I don’t think I can go on much longer. My energy levels have completely dropped, though.

Therefore, I wish everyone the best of luck and sincerely hope to move through these stages as quickly as possible. James had a kidney removed in 2000 after being first diagnosed with kidney cancer.

He revealed that his spine, brain, and lungs had been affected by the disease in 2020. Since then, the veteran broadcaster has endured turbulent circumstances.

Back in May, James told his fans he was “at the end” of his cancer journey as he announced the last of his long-running TalkTV programme. James sadly revealed his condition had worsened and that treatment was no longer an option.

I’m at the end of my cancer journey, he said while introducing the announcement to his Talk co-host Ash Gould. I can’t be treated anymore.

He continued, “I can’t tell you how grateful I am to Talk to have allowed me to sit next to Ash, which is a real pain in the butt, but I’ve done it for 25 years!”

Despite his health, James managed to joke: “It might actually be helping me, you never know, so I don’t let that cloud my judgment – but on the medication I am on, I’m all over the place. I’m hoping to go on for another few weeks, few months but as soon as I can’t do the show anymore, I won’t.”

Ozzy’s beloved family announced the sad news on Tuesday, as they shared how the Prince of Darkness was “surrounded by love” at the time of his death. Since then, Ozzy’s friends, family, fans and fellow musicians have spoke out about the loss of the rock legend.

Zak, who is The Beatles icon Ringo Starr’s son, was among those taking to social media to share tributes to Ozzy. The drummer, who has played with the likes of The Who and Oasis, posted an email he had received from Ozzy’s wife and manager Sharon Osbourne.

Before Black Sabbath’s 2013 tour, she inquired about Zak’s participation in the band. According to Sharon’s message, “Black Sabbath will headline Download on June 10 and Lollapalooza in August.”

For their album, which will be produced by Rick Rubin and be released in September, the band “The guys need a drummer.” You’d probably be required to wait 2-3 weeks before recording the album. Additionally, they require a drummer for Chicago’s Lollapalooza on August 3.

Sharon added a touch of humour as she joked: “Also, Ozzy wants to have sex with you while he is singing ‘Iron Man’. Big Kiss, Sharon.” However, Zak revealed he turned down the offer due to other commitments with The Who.

He and the band performed at the 2012 Olympics’ closing ceremony in London and during their Quadrophenia and More tour, which included dates in 2012 and 2013.

Zak explained his regrets for turning down Ozzy and said, “Not the sex part! One of the best, most natural, and brilliant singers all time will always be Ozzy.

In this agonizing situation, I extend my heart and comfort to his family. Get into the “Never Say Die” record if you aren’t familiar with it because it’s already far out.
