Talia Oatway, the ex-wife of Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers, has updated her on Oakley, three, who was born with Apert Syndrome.

Aaron Chalmers’ ex, Talia Oatway, has revealed their little boy, Oakley, may need a wheelchair in heartbreaking news. Little Oakley, three, was born with Apert Syndrome, a genetic disorder, which causes the skull, hands and foot bones to fuse together.

Sharing recent photos of her son, Talia, who split up from her Geordie Shore star ex shortly after Oakley was born, admitted she ‘cries a lot’ as she gave an emotional update on the tot’s progress.

It comes after singer, Jessie J, updated fans on her health after being rushed to hospital with an infection and fluid on her lungs, weeks after breast cancer surgery.

Responding to a follower on Instagram, who told Talia how amazing it was to see Oakley taking his first steps in a video his proud mum had shared online, the model said he may end up depending on a wheelchair, explaining: “Ah thank you, he will only walk outside for a very very short time (like a few minutes) at home he walks more.

I need to keep an eye on where the bones on the bottom of his feet are advancing.

“Many Appetit children need to have their feet removed and sometimes need wheelchairs.” Because of the bones on their bottoms, they experience back pain.

Talia was later asked how amazing during the Q&amp, but she responded, “Thank you, I honestly don’t think I’m strong. At times, I’m very emotional. I cry frequently, especially when I’m overwhelmed or in need of clarification.

I’ve made an effort to keep my emotions as low as possible, especially with the kids.

Aaron and Talia welcomed Oakley into the world in February 2022. The former couple also share Romeo, four, and Maddox, three.

They broke up in 2017, but they only spoke one more month after Oakley’s birth.

Aaron, who found fame on MTV’s Geordie Shore, made his debut with the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship in April. Speaking to the Mirror about how he struggled to cope after Oakley was born, he said: “Everything was going in the right direction, and then after my last fight in the November – a few days later my cousin died, who was literally my best mate, my brother. He passed away and I just went on a slippery slope. I started drinking f***ing really, really badly. Drinking badly.

My son entered a hospital as I was attempting to retrace my steps in the direction of 2024. He was coma-induced, fought for his life for eight weeks, and I just didn’t deal with it because it was meant to be a routine head surgery.

In 2019, she explained during an interview on Lorraine: “When I first started Corrie I’d done a sketch show and was blonde. They felt Eva was blonde and so did I. I keep walking past windows and mirror and think ‘Oh!’ and forget I’ve done it. A lady came up to me and said I think you should be blonde.”

Reports surrounding the return of Leanne Battersby’s sister emerged earlier this year, but then nothing was announced. Fresh reports just last week claimed the planned plot was now approaching.

It’s thought that the move has come about after EastEnders bosses revealed that Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) will be taking the reins of the Queen Victoria pub. Aaron McCusker, who starred as Freddie Mercury’s boyfriend in the film Bohemian Rhapsody, is reportedly set to arrive alongside her as her new husband.

A source told The Sun: “Corrie bosses were never going to take EastEnders shrewd decision to reinstate Kat and Alfie at the Vic lying down. So they took their time looking for the perfect actor to play her husband to Eva as she makes her return to Corrie as the new boss of the Rovers.”

The insider added that Corrie’s management was aware of the ‘perfect’ actor when the Irish-born actor entered the room. The locals will be in for a shock if they believe they can exploit Aaron’s good nature and cheeky Irish charm, according to the addition of his character.
