Former co-star Selina Christoforou, who has since shared a cryptic post purportedly aimed at the TV personality, accused comedian Mo Gilligan of being a “deadbeat dad.”

Mo Gilligan had been hitting headlines in the last week after the mother of his first child has slammed him as a “deadbeat dad” and claimed he doesn’t see his first born. The comedian, 37, is getting ready to welcome his first child with current partner Taia Tulher, 28, but his ex Selina Christoforou, 35, posted an explosive video on TikTok where she claimed he already has a child but is a “deadbeat dad”.

Selina claimed she knows how few times the star has met his son Rudi and insisted you “can’t make someone be a dad”. Their son was born in January 2024, and Selina claimed she could “count on her fingers and toes” how many times Mo has seen their child over the last 17 months.

Comedian Mo stayed silent on the claims made by Selina, he seemingly hit back at her with a post featuring Rudi. In a post shared last week, the short black and white clip showed a little boy playing a giant game of Connect 4. It comes after Helen Skelton and Gethin Jones split as he joins a notorious dating app on a lads’ holiday.

Mo chose to conceal the boy’s identity, but he also included a powerful song in the video. He paired it with Drake’s Emotionless, which had the lyrics “I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world/ I was hiding the world from my kid.”

Shakira Khan and Harry Cooksley were named as the runner-up couple on Love Island last night during the live final, with Toni Laites and Cach Mercer instead winning the show

Aftersun panelist Sam Thompson has shared his thoughts on Shakira Khan and Harry Cooksley having missed out on winning Love Island. It comes after they were named as the runner-up couple on the reality TV show last night.

Shakira, 22, and Harry, 30, placed second in the final after coupling up again less than two weeks. They had previously been involved in a love triangle and Harry has expressed regret over some of his behaviour prior to their recent reconcilation.

Former Made in Chelsea star Sam told the Sun that Shakira was “slightly held back”. He told the outlet: “Shakira was slightly held back by Harry yeah, but do you know what he had a bit of a personality transplant at the end.”

He suggested that Harry is “madly in love” with Shakira, adding that he doesn’t believe that will change. Sam told the outlet recently: “They’ll come out and he’ll see how well she’s doing and probably even more in love with her.”

Asked if they thought they would end up back together, Shakira said: “It was in my dolly daydreams but I didn’t think it would be on the cards.” Harry said: “I didn’t think it was ever reciprocated how I felt. I always wanted it but I just had to bury my emotions and feelings for Shakira because I didn’t think there was any going back.”

Shakira said it had been “tough” as she “wanted him so badly” but had a “battle” between her head and her heart. She added: “If this has taught me anything, it’s that I lose in that situation when I let my pride and ego win.”

Discussing regrets, Harry said: “I definitely regret some of the ways I handled a lot of situations. I think I have learned from them. The main thing was not following my heart when I knew I should have. And not having more time together as a couple.”

Alfie Wise, an actor, passed away at the age of 82, has been revealed. He is best remembered for his roles in movies like Smokey and the Bandit, in which his late friend Burt Reynolds was a star and who he co-starred with on numerous projects throughout his career.

Alfie passed away two weeks ago at a Florida medical facility as a result of natural causes, according to reports this week. Stephanie Bliss, his partner, who has been referred to as his longtime fiancée, shared the news with the Hollywood Reporter.

Before retiring 25 years ago, Alfie had a decades-long acting career. He made his acting debut with the 1972 film Call Her Mom, and the following year he also appeared in the CBS sitcom The Sandy Duncan Show.

Over the course of his career, he and his late friend Burt, who passed away seven years ago, participated in a number of projects. The two actors are alleged to have collaborated for the 1974 film Longest Yard.

Both of them were portrayed by Burt and Jerry Reed in Smokey and the Bandit (1977), which focused on the portrayals of Cledus and Bo the Bandit in The Snowman Snow. In the movie, Alfie played a patrolman.
