Swifties can now match with their favourite singer with this sparkly orange dress

Taylor Swift fans have been thrilled today, August 12, after the hit Eras Tour star announced that her 12th studio album will be coming out soon. Talking on her boyfriend and his brother’s popular podcast, New Heights, early this morning, at 12.12am, she said her new record is called The Life Of A Showgirl.

She kept the album cover hidden, and the rest of the artwork has yet to be revealed, but we know this upcoming ‘Showgirl’ era will have a colourful theme of orange and green. Taylor Swift’s current profile picture on her social media accounts is a glittery orange padlock on top of a green background.

The official Taylor Swift store is already teasing fans with pre-orders, and the aesthetic features a warm, orange, autumnal glow with a hint of glitter. To mark the news of her upcoming album, numerous fashion retailers have dropped the price of their orange and green coloured garments. For instance, River Island has reduced the cost of several orange shirts, tops, dresses and shoes.

One particular piece of clothing perfectly matches Swift’s glittery orange padlock, and it has dropped in price considerably. The high-street store’s Orange Sequin Embellished Slip Midi Dress was £85, but it can now be purchased for just £35.

The dress features all-over sequins to create a glittery effect, much like the promotional art for ‘TS12’. Its bright shade of orange is also a fantastic match. The slip dress finishes just above the ankles and includes a cowl neckline.

Sizes vary from a UK size six to a 16. The model wearing the Orange Sequin Embellished Slip Midi Dress in the pictures online teams the gown with black strappy heels, a thick gold bracelet and gold earrings.

If you are looking to match Taylor Swift’s latest album, there are plenty of other orange and green items to consider besides River Island, such as this Never Fully Dressed sequin tank top co-ord that’s available on ASOS for £79. New Look is selling this AX Paris Green Printed Slit Hem Maxi Dress for £48. Another option for something a bit different is this rose gold plated Philip Jones Padlock Necklace with Zircondia Crystals for £9.99.

If you like the look of River Island’s £35 Orange Sequin Embellished Slip Midi Dress, it can be bought online and delivered to your door for an extra £4. However, delivery is free on orders over £65. There aren’t any reviews for the dress on River Island’s website, but for those keen for customer feedback, reading through reviews on Trustpilot may help.

On the website, one shopper who left a five-star review said: “Love River Island staff members and managers are so helpful and friendly l love their clothing and accessories brillant store hope the survive as the best shop on high street for great quality clothing shop nowhere else.”

Another said: “River island shoes and clothes are true to size and I only shop from River Island. I shop from River island at least twice a month.” A third put: “Great range of quality clothing. Sizing is accurate and store staff are always helpful. Love shopping here!”

However, some unimpressed shoppers left comments. One wrote: “Sizing is awful!!! I’m a size 10 normally so I ordered some high waisted shorts in a 10. Couldn’t get them to do up at all!! Ordered a 12 and the exact same thing!! Went straight back.”

A second said: “Products arrived in good order but I paid for a specific delivery day and this was not honoured.” A third claimed: “I used to like River Island but the last couple of times I’ve ordered clothes they have been sent stuffed into bags that are too small for the items and have had strong smells.”

It has been announced that a scheduled performance by Rag’n’Bone Man won’t go ahead tonight due to him having “fallen ill”. His team have shared that his latest gig has been cancelled and that he’s seeking medical attention.

The singer, 40, whose real name is Rory Graham, has been touring parts of Europe lately. The BRIT Award winner has already taken to the stage at festivals held in Romania and Latvia last week as part of his latest run of appearances.

He had been due to perform in Lithuania later tonight but it’s been announced that the concert won’t be going ahead. Rag’n’Bone Man’s team have revealed that he won’t be at the Valley of Songs in the city of Kaunas this evening.

Rag’n’Bone Man’s team shared the news with fans through Instagram this afternoon. They told his followers that he has “fallen ill” and will no longer be able to perform, though didn’t provide further details over his health.

In a statement, his team said: “Show cancellation today. We’re deeply sorry to let you know that today’s concert in Kaunas has been cancelled as Rag’n’Bone Man has unfortunately fallen ill. He is currently seeking medical care and we wish him a speedy recovery.

“We know many of you were looking forward to the show and may have travelled or made special plans, we truly appreciate your understanding at this time. Rory will be so upset to have to cancel this show and we’ll be working hard to scheduled a show in Lithuania soon. For ticket refunds, please contact your ticket distributor/the point of ticket sale from which you purchased.”

Smile star, Lily Allen, used to share a New York townhouse with her ex, Stranger Things star, David Harbour, but now they’ve split up, she’s made a huge change

Lily Allen has confirmed she’s moving out of her home in New York following her split with David Harbour. The Smile star, 40, and Stranger Things actor, 50, got hitched in 2020, but called it quits last year amid reports of David’s infidelity.

Mum-of-two, Lily, bought the art deco home in Brooklyn with David shortly after their nuptials in Vegas and it even featured in posh magazine, Architectural Digest, thanks to its impressive features and stylish decor.

However, Lily, has now left the property and bought an ex-council flat in London, where she’s been busy throwing herself into decorating, which she says has ‘helped’ her through her ‘hard time’. It comes as the star was spotted in the capital, wearing a diamond band on her wedding finger.

Lily told The Mirror that she’s been taking inspiration from interior design magazines for her new pad, which is believed to be in Notting Hill, sharing: “I’m really enjoying those at the moment. I’ve obviously had quite a hard time and that’s really helped me.”

She also spoke about her new purchase, which she’ll live in with her two daughters, on her Miss Me? podcast back in March, as she chatted to co-host Miquita Oliver.

She shared: “This flat that I’ve bought, is in a social housing building, I have kind of given myself a ‘get out’ clause because it is slap bang in the area which I grew up in, so I don’t feel like I am coming from outside and coming into the area and gentrifying it.”

Lily added: “I have wanted to live in this building since I was a baby, it’s been a dream of mine forever and finally a flat became available in here and I was in a position to buy it and I did. But I know people have got judgement around it.”

With Parisian-inspired rooms and an enormous walk-in wardrobe, Lily’s former townhouse was a sight to behold. However, the singer admitted she felt ‘incredibly low’ and lonely in New York as she opened up about her break-up.

The Londoner, who confirmed her split from David in January, revealed that she felt ‘extremely heavy’ as she ‘doesn’t have that much to do here’ in the city.

She moved to Brooklyn in 2020 to be closer to David, enrolling her daughters in local schools.

However, it’s now all over for the couple, with Lily now back in Blighty and reportedly signed up to exclusive dating app Raya in an effort to move on from her marriage.

She has already been romantically linked to actor James Norton. However, it was recently reported that he had been getting cosy with someone else.

Speaking to the Mirror, a source said: “James and his female pal certainly didn’t care who was looking. They were happy sitting outside the bar getting very cosy with one another despite the scorching temperatures across London.”

They added: “At one point, the woman was seen resting her hand on James’ bare knees as they engaged in a deep conversation. It’s a stark contrast from his recent date with Lily Allen, but it’s clear that he’s not short of female attention.”

Zoe Ball’s insight into her family life comes after her dad Johnny Ball made a revelation about her relationship with her ex-husband Fatboy Slim

Zoe Ball has opened up about a “sad” shift in the bond with her daughter Nelly. The 54-year-old is mum to 24-year-old son Woody Cook, and Nelly, 14, with her former husband Norman Cook, who is better known as Fatboy Slim.

Speaking about sleeping arrangements on her latest Dig It podcast episode with Jo Whiley, Zoe expressed disappointment over her daughter’s reluctance to share overnight stays with her.

The BBC Radio 2 host revealed: “I love going to sleep in the same bed as Nel. When she’s here, I’m like, ‘Do you want to stay the night? It’s a girl’s night – wanna stay the night?’

“And it’s really sad when she just looks at me and is like, ‘No mother’ and shuts the door. Or looks at me and says, ‘No mother, go to bed now’.

“And my favourite thing [is], if you do get to share a bed with your kids, sometimes, I know it sounds creepy, but just looking at their faces as they sleep, it doesn’t matter how old they are, you look at them and I always have those moments of just remembering their faces when they were babies and it’s like, ‘Look at you, all grown up’.”

Zoe frequently offers followers glimpses into her home life through her Instagram account, which features snaps of her children, her well-known father Johnny Ball, and her late mum Julia.

However, one thing she prefers to keep private from fans is details about her love life.

In photographs shared by The Sun in June, the broadcaster was spotted clasping hands with an unknown gentleman at Glastonbury Festival.

A source revealed to the publication: “Zoe is down at Glastonbury as a punter and has brought her new boyfriend along for the ride.

“They seemed blissfully happy and were strolling along holding hands.

“She was really smiling at him as they walked along and he was very protective of Zoe and put his hand across her back.

“People were doing double takes at her bloke though because he looks a lot like Fatboy. It’s so great to see Zoe smiling again.”

Zoe was married to Fatboy Slim from 1999 to 2016, and according to her father Johnny, they’re now closer than ever before.

Chatting to Boom Radio, he revealed: “They’re very good friends today. They’re divorced, but they’re better… if you like, they’re closer today than they were when they were married. And that’s a lovely thing.”

After their divorce, Zoe began dating Billy Yates, who tragically took his own life at the age of 40 in 2017.

Lagos, Saturday 18^th of May, 2019 was the definition of entertainment success. From the lights to setup, the atmosphere was filled with the euphoria of excitement. The wait was finally over, almost 6 months after the first season hit YouTube, The Men’s club, season 2 is set to launch.

In anticipation, a private screening was held at the IMAX Filmhouse cinema, Lekki. In attendance were the cast, crew and industry supporters. A little waiting room held a re-enacted set from the show’s opening montage, signature cocktails, mock tails  and delicious canapés were served. The Crème-de-la Crème of Lagos entertainment elites including Kemi Adetiba, Noble Igwe, Eku Edewor, Ashionye Raccah, Bola Atta and guests mingled and re-lived their favourite scenes from Season 1 through pictures and interviews.

At 7:30 pm, all guests were ushered into the main screening hall by the Creative Director of REDTV, Obinna Okerekeocha, intimating fans and guests present that the new Season was about to bring on a different dimension. ‘REDTV has taken drama to a different level and we aren’t scared to push the boundaries. Our vision at REDTV is to continually produce premium content for entertainment. The new season of The Men’s Club is real. Its aspirational and relatable. The cinematography and scores are top class and its wonderful to see how the lead actors have grown. This is going to be a bigger hit than Season one’ said Okerekeocha. As end credits from the show reeled on the screen, the room was filled with resounding applause. In a thank you address, Bola Atta the Executive Producer expressed her uttermost joy as the show more than surpassed expectations. She thanked the United Bank for Africa(UBA) for the endless support to ensure the success of REDTV and congratulated Tola Odunsi and Akins Akinkugbe, co-producers of The Men’s Club.

The curtains drew with a final address from Tola Odunsi and Akins ‘AK’ Akinkugbe returning immense gratitude to every single actor and crew behind the scene reminding guests that ‘it’s easy to see the finished show but every single person who contributes to the show makes the job worthwhile’.
