Leonardo DiCaprio, a well-known actor, has a number of famous girlfriends, but it seems like a special woman might be staying.

Since The Revenant star’s engagement in the summer of 2023, Italian fashion model Vittoria Ceretti has been romantically linked to the model since the summer of 2023. Rumors about their engagement have stoked the internet.

Vittoria, who was born in Brescia and has previously appeared on Vogue’s cover, was recently seen flashing a stunning heart-shaped sparkler on a somber finger, betraying Leo’s assumed-ever-settling fiancé.

The well-known actor recently celebrated his milestone 50th birthday, and as a result of his years of mature dating, he has become the subject of numerous memes.

However, Vittoria celebrated her 26th birthday back in June, and the pair appear to still be going strong. So strong, in fact that fans reckon they can hear wedding bells. If true, this will be Vittoria’s second walk down the aisle, with her first marriage ending in heartbreak.

Before falling for Leonardo, Vittoria was married to Matteo Milleri, a New York-based DJ who is also originally from Italy. Matteo prefers to remain anonymous on social media. The pair did, however, allow their stunning wedding on June 1, 2020, in Ibiza to be seen.

Vittoria’s wedding attire embodied understated elegance, despite her previous experience with high fashion on the runway. The beaming bride wore little makeup, a sweet and simple hairstyle, and a cream gown from French brand Jacquemus, which at the time retailed for $1450 (£1150).

Taking to Instagram at the time, Vittoria shared gorgeous snaps of her and Matteo looking positively besotted by the sapphire ocean, adding the caption: “01.06.2020 from this day forward”, accompanied by a white love heart.

Sadly, in June 2023, just three years after their sea breeze vows, Vittoria and Matteo announced they were parting ways amicably. They reportedly broke up before January 2023. Matteo and Grimes, the mother of three of Elon Musk’s children, have since started dating again and are having new relationships.

According to Elle, Vittoria and Leonardo first shared a relationship at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival’s Killers of the Flower Moon premiere in May of that year. Page Six captured images of the couple’s cozy ice cream date in Santa Barbara, California, in August of 2023. The pair were seen smooching in an Ibiza nightclub a few days later, making it clear that they were more than just pals.

By September 2023, it became clear their romance was more than just a summer fling, with Vittoria even meeting Leonardo’s mother, Irmelin Indenbirken. In November, an insider told Us Weekly that the famed ladies ‘ man was utterly ‘ smitten ‘ by his new girlfriend, and the feeling was mutual.

The source said: “It’s going so well that Leo’s actually being exclusive. He only considers himself to be Victorian. […] He says she’s not only gorgeous, but super down-to-earth, and they have a ton in common. She doesn’t even mind that his fame, both the model and the movie star, intimidates her. Leo finds it refreshing”.

They added that Leo’s friends are said to be keeping their “gimmicks crossed that Leo may have finally found The One” and have shown support for his relationship with “old soul” Vittoria.

Over the last year, the lovebirds have been spotted together at various high-profile events and red-carpet appearances, and Vittoria was a guest of honour at Leo’s 50th birthday bash. However, might there be another occasion?

There is no evidence of Leonardo and Vittoria’s relationship at the time of writing. When Vittoria was spotted eating lunch with a glittering ring finger back in March, the couple was previously the subject of engagement rumors.

However, the rumors were untrue, with sources telling TMZ that Vittoria had worn the ring since at least 2022, long before she and Leo fell for each other.

Bestselling British-American writer Barbara Taylor Bradford, whose debut novel “A Woman of Substance” turned her into an overnight success and sold over 30 million copies, has died aged 91, a spokeswoman said on Monday.

Following a brief illness, Taylor Bradford, who wrote 40 novels and sold 91 million copies of books worldwide during her career, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday.

A private funeral would be held in New York, the spokeswoman added, adding that she “was surrounded by loved ones to the very end.”

Emma Harte, a servant in Taylor Bradford’s native Yorkshire in northern England, overcomes a humble beginning to build a business empire while navigating numerous personal tragedies along the way.

Many of her subsequent books are set in Yorkshire and have a similar rags-to-riches theme, bringing back memories of her own triumph against the odds and perseverance.

“What I really wanted to do was to write about a very strong woman, because I’m strong”, she told an interviewer in 1983.

“That doesn’t mean I’m tough or hard but I have the strength to meet adversity, not to give in”, she said, adding that she wrote 12 hours a day, seven days a week.

The Wonder of it All, her most recent book, was released last year.

Taylor Bradford, a typist for her neighborhood newspaper The Yorkshire Evening Post, started her working life at the age of 15 before becoming a reporter in Leeds, northern England, in May 1933.

She left her 20-year career as a journalist and delved head first into the world of fiction in London.

Before winning the 1979 novel “A Woman of Substance,” which was a smash hit, she started and abandoned several others.

‘Powerhouse’

The book remained on the New York Times bestseller list for 45 weeks.

In 1985, Liam Neeson and Jenny Seagrove played Emma Harte in a double Emmy-nominated miniseries.

Seagrove paid tribute to a “dear friend” and “powerhouse of glamour and warmth”.

“Success never diminished her ability to relate to anyone she met, whether as a princess or cleaner,” she said. She claimed that she never, ever forgot that she was merely a Yorkshire girl who worked hard and made a good living.

Charlie Redmayne, chief executive of publisher HarperCollins, described Taylor Bradford as a “truly exceptional writer”.

He claimed that “A Woman of Substance” has had a profound impact on the lives of so many readers and continues to do so today.

“She was a natural storyteller, deeply proud of her Yorkshire roots. For 45 years, she was a huge part of our company and a great, great friend –- we will miss her so much”, he added.

Taylor Bradford received an OBE (officer of the British Empire) in 2007 for her contributions to literature as a result of Queen Elizabeth II’s honor.

Following her previous union to American film producer Robert Bradford the previous year, she had lived there since 1964.

Up until his death in 2019, the couple were married for 55 years.

Westchester Hills Cemetery, north of New York City, is where Taylor Bradford’s wife, Jennifer Bradford, was buried along with her late husband.

French-Japanese mini-series “Drops of God” won the International Emmy Award for best drama series on Monday night.

The estranged daughter of a French wine critic battles her protege in an attempt to recoup her inheritance in this adaptation of a popular Japanese manga of the same name.

A new report has revealed heartbreaking details about Liam Payne’s passing, along with depressing new information about the actor’s precarious state.

The former One Direction star, who was 31 years old, tragically passed away last month after falling from the third floor of Argentina’s Casa Sur Palermo hotel. A body was discovered shortly after 5 o’clock local time on an inside patio of the boutique hotel. He was reportedly injured “severe injuries that were incompatible with life.”

Witnesses and a recent police report allege that Liam threatened to use the balcony as a means of escape while he was trying to leave his hotel room. In the hotel’s internal courtyard, a bag was discovered next to his body, indicating that he may have been packing up.

What exactly happened in Liam’s hotel room before tragedy struck, as we know now, and in what’s known about his worrying spiral.

Difficult blows

In the weeks leading up to his death, those close to him raised the alarm before the tragedy. His own publicist resigned, leaving him without any guidance during a difficult time, and Universal Music, his record label, reportedly dropped him.

According to the Daily Mail, Liam was axed by the record label in the days preceding his death, with a source telling the publication: “Liam’s advance was massive and he didn’t recoup]it]. Out of all of the One Direction boys, Liam was on the wrong path musically”. His second album’s release allegedly delayed.

A source claimed Liam’s eight-year-long music career may have felt like it was “crumbling” at the end, and it “must have absolutely devastated him”. It happened as his ex-girlfriend Maya Henry began a legal fight with Liam after she accused him of calling her repeatedly.

During his Argentina trip, Liam’s fans shared haunting videos of his final days and hours. The star appears shaky on his feet as he tells well-wishers, “That was a really big squeeze,” as one TikTok video shows him meeting well-wishers outside of his hotel. In another, he poses for a picture before raising his eyebrows and gazing down.

In a different clip, Liam asks the audience for a “pen” because he doesn’t have one while signing an autograph for a woman. When they reply ‘ lapicera ‘ in Spanish, he jokes: “I feel like you’re trying to make me say something rude”. But away from the laughter, there are concerns Liam wasn’t in a good headspace and was spiralling out of control.

Lobby conversation

A woman, only known as Rebecca, who had a half-hour chat with Liam in the hotel lobby hours before his death described him as “desperate” to be recognised. She claimed he announced himself, unprompted, shouting “I’m Liam”, to a queue of guests waiting for the lift. She claimed that Liam’s laptop was returned to the lobby.

Surmising that he’d spotted an email that “upset” him, Rebecca said: “Suddenly he took the computer, shouted ‘ f**k this s**t mate! ‘ and began “blanking” the computer against the wall” The singer’s “out of place” behaviour “shocked” onlookers in the “high-end” hotel, but concerned, Rebecca said she asked him if he was OK.

She explained: “But he just kind of grunted. Then he said ‘ I used to be in a boyband. That’s why I’m so f**ked up'”. Shocked at his admission, she saw him get back in the lift, before a “British guy” apologised to the group on “his behalf”. She added that while staff helped him enter the lift, he fell over when he returned to the lobby.

Hotel staff fears

Using a master key, hotel staff reportedly placed Liam in his room, before removing a mirror from his door out of concern that he might harm it. A hotel employee called 911 just before the singer was in a room with a balcony and expressed concern that he might try to escape.

The reception head said: “I don’t know if the guest’s life is in danger. We’re concerned that he might do something because the room has a balcony. Just send an ambulance, only an ambulance”.

Leather bag

Liam apparently attempted an escape route through the balcony after the hotel staff left him alone, leading to his tragic fall. When he was removed from the lobby, a bag was discovered strapped over his shoulder, which was not present.

Evidence suggests that Liam may have planned his descent in stages. A second-floor hotel guest discovered a leather bag containing pills, a bottle of Jack Daniel’s, and a note labelled ‘ for Liam ‘ on their balcony. According to investigators, the singer’s attempted escape was carried out while the bag, which was his rather than the one found next to his body, was lowered to the second floor.

Police have ruled out suicide, believing the singer was likely in a state of “semi or total unconsciousness” at the time of his fall. Officials have also linked the tragedy to a substance-induced ‘ psychotic episode’.

Hotel fears

Sources close to Liam’s who have lived in hotels tell the US website TMZ that they have experienced a series of aversions that date back to his days with One Direction. Speaking on The Diary of a CEO podcast in 2021, Liam said: “My dad said it from day one – lonely hotel rooms, man – getting locked in that room is not fun when you’ve been exposed”.

Due to worries about potential drug use, the singer’s dislike of such circumstances reportedly led to at least one other balcony escape attempt in September. During that incident, the 31-year-old is alleged to have attempted to escape through a balcony, using a garden hose to shimmy to the ground.

Substance struggles

In his final months, Liam reportedly had stopped using drugs, but he appeared to have relapsed just before his passing. The initial toxicology report found traces of “alcohol, cocaine and prescription antidepressants” in Liam’s system.

A search of Liam’s hotel room also uncovered “what appeared to be narcotics, alcohol, destroyed objects and furniture”, according to detectives. La Nacion and Clarin, the news outlets that purported to show photos from the room where Liam spent his final moments, confirmed them.
