Tess Daly has spent 21 years on our screens as the co-host of Strictly Come Dancing — but the star leads a life many dream of in the leafy British countryside.

Tess announced her departure from BBC’s flagship show with an emotional video and statement, which she shared on her social media accounts. She said she was “proud to have played a small part in something that continues to mean so much to so many” after 21 “unforgettable” years.

The TV personality, who is married to fellow presenter Vernon Kay, leads a more low-key life in her Buckinghamshire hometown. The couple are the proud owners of a lavish six-bedroom property in Beaconsfield, a town often labelled one of the most desirable to live in the UK.

They frequently give fans glimpses into their luxurious abode via social media, and have been spotted by locals enjoying strolls and shopping trips around the town.

Tess and Vernon are in good company, with a host of other celebrities calling Buckinghamshire home. The pair swapped the hustle and bustle of London for the tranquillity of country life more than two decades ago, seeking a lifestyle closer to their Northern roots.

They have even been known to visit local attractions such as Bekonscot Model Village and Railway. And who can blame them for indulging in a bit of retail therapy, given Beaconsfield’s impressive shopping offerings?

Their sprawling residence boasts grounds large enough to keep horses, including paddocks for Tess ‘ two Shetland ponies, Honey and Willow. The property also features a spacious conservatory kitchen, a private swimming pool, and a home gym.

The couple are clearly nature lovers, frequently making the most of their expansive gardens. Whether it’s a romantic summer evening on garden furniture or tending to their own vegetable patch, Tess often showcases their impressive outdoor space on Instagram.

It would be a shame not to utilise their portable dining dome adorned with fairy lights, after all. They are not afraid to get their hands dirty when the British weather turns out to be unimpressive.

Tess and Vernon have shared photos of themselves and their two daughters renovating their home in a bit of DIY. Another favorite pastime is curling up on the couch for some TV time. Being a well-known presenter doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a good TV show.

Former Manchester United star Sir David Beckham has lifted the lid on a major life decision, admitting that it led his wife, Victoria, to “burst out crying”.

Over the years, Sir David has cemented his position as one of the biggest footballing talents the country has ever produced, but he has now revealed how Victoria wasn’t best pleased after he made a major move following the end of his playing career.

Looking back to when he first broke the news to Victoria that he was planning to restore derelict barns into a new family home, he told Country Life magazine: “To begin with, Victoria wasn’t over the moon about it, as we’d only just done up our house in Holland Park, so how I feel about the countryside started earlier than it did with my family”.

However, as plans went ahead to convert the dilapidated Oxfordshire barns, the former England international recalled the desperate rush to put the finishing touches on their new home before his wife and kids saw it for the first time: “I can still remember the morning when Victoria and the children were all due to arrive to see the refurbished barns for the first time. It was still a complete mess”.

And, despite Victoria’s initial concerns about moving into the new property, he revealed how Victoria broke down in tears, as she finally stepped foot in the property: “Then I waited at the front door with a glass of wine for Victoria to arrive. And, the moment she walked in, she burst out crying because she couldn’t believe how perfect it was”.

Besides his newly renovated Oxfordshire barns, Sir David and Victoria have also raised their family of six at their stunning Grade II-listed Holland Park mansion, a property in Miami, as well as a penthouse in Miami’s One Thousand Museum building.

Away from sharing an insight into his family life, David is best known for his playing days where he managed to stack up over 250 appearances for Manchester United, as well as going on to play for Real Madrid, LA Galaxy, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain.

He also totted up an impressive 117 caps at international level, as well as scoring 17 goals.

However, after hanging up his boots in 2013, he has shown little-sign of slowing down. In the decade since his retirement, he has worked with countless brands.

The likes of Adidas, Hugo Boss and Stella Artois have featured the 50-year-old in their campaigns, meanwhile he still keeps a keen interest in football, with him co-owning Salford City Football Club and Inter Miami in the US.

His other accomplishments include receiving the Crystal Award at the World Economic Forum in Davos for his work as an ambassador for UNICEF (United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund).

Charlotte Church broke off her relationship with former rugby star Gavin Henson just six weeks after getting engaged. Church has been back in the headlines after she was axed from Celebrity Traitors this week.

The former singer and actress, 39, paid the price for being too inquisitive and was ‘murdered’ by Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr and Cat Burns in the latest episode of the BBC show.

The former Opera star has been a household name since the age of 11 after wowing fans with her stunning voice. She later ventured into acting and other musical-based projects, but it was her relationship with the ex-rugby player that kept generating column inches.

Ruby and Dexter, the two children they had together in 2005, fell in love and had their second child. In 2010, they made their engagement announcement.

However, the pair shockingly confirmed their separation just six weeks later. Henson and Chris had previously discussed purchasing a two-carat, heart-shaped diamond engagement ring while on vacation in Dubai.

In a job interview with OK! Church cited the proposal as an “emotional” moment and claimed she was “absolutely joyous” at the proposal in the magazine. Henson has since acknowledged that he and Church made the decision to divide for the good of their children.

He previously stated, “It’s no secret that we weren’t getting on.” We “didn’t want it to drag on for a few more years,” she said. I couldn’t bear having the children cry because we were arguing, they were five or six years old.

That would be terrible if I didn’t want to split the family then. He continued, “I believed we were going to be together forever.” We had a good relationship, but we didn’t.

They are making every effort to minimize the impact on their two young children as they navigate this challenging time. They have the full intention of working together and collaborating to minimize the children’s lives’ disruption.

Church went on to marry Jonathan Powell, a musician, in 2017. Speaking of her relationship to Powell, Church cleared up the timeline and insisted the romance occurred after she and Henson parted ways.

Chloe Ferry, the star of Geordie Shore, has claimed she has “breakdowns” and can’t stop crying as she tries to get out of bed. She was earlier this week diagnosed with a tragic loss.

Chloe Ferry has sadly admitted how much she is struggling after her dog Ivy died earlier this week. The Geordie Shore star shared that she has “cried for two days”.

Taking to Instagram, Chloe opened up about her grief. She started with a selfie as she woke up late and wrote over the top that she had to “try my hardest to get up and get my house sorted”.

She then recorded a teary video in which she explained that grief “comes in waves.” I have been crying figuratively for the past two days. Losing a pet is difficult because it feels like it’s human, and the pain manifests unexpectedly.

Chloe explained that her other dog, Narla, was also struggling because she could tell something was wrong in both the first selfie and the video.

She also mentioned that Narla, her dog, needed “Ivy,” and that she needed it because she was a dog. The actress later admitted to “smelling Ivy’s blanket” and that she was experiencing “bite fragments” of breakdowns.

Chloe shared on Instagram that it was the “worst night of my life” when Ivy passed away a few days ago. She begged followers for advice on how to help her dog after being rushed to the emergency vet.

But she was forced to restart the app just hours later to inform her fans that Ivy had passed away. I can’t express how heartbroken I am about losing my daughter so unplannedly, wrote Chloe.

“It was the worst night of my life last night, and the result was the worst.” My first dog, Ivy, who has witnessed my worst times and has always been there for me when I needed her, lost.

She was the most compassionate, loving dog, and I’m devastated that I had to take her away so suddenly and unexpectedly. You will never be forgotten, my girl.

In recent years, Chloe has posted a lot of information about her pets, including hilarious details like how Ivy robbed her sexy toy and how challenging it was to bathe them.

She has since stated that she needs to “reverse my normal routine” and believes that this will ease the pain. She simply needs to return to my daily routine, she wrote. Routine is important for me, and for the past few weeks, I haven’t had one, if you don’t know by now.

She also stated that she was considering getting a new dog because it might be better for Narla, but that she felt “awful even thinking about it””. I can’t help but feel awful even though it’s still in its early stages, but I can’t stand seeing Narla like this.

Lagos, Saturday 18^th of May, 2019 was the definition of entertainment success. From the lights to setup, the atmosphere was filled with the euphoria of excitement. The wait was finally over, almost 6 months after the first season hit YouTube, The Men’s club, season 2 is set to launch.

In anticipation, a private screening was held at the IMAX Filmhouse cinema, Lekki. In attendance were the cast, crew and industry supporters. A little waiting room held a re-enacted set from the show’s opening montage, signature cocktails, mock tails  and delicious canapés were served. The Crème-de-la Crème of Lagos entertainment elites including Kemi Adetiba, Noble Igwe, Eku Edewor, Ashionye Raccah, Bola Atta and guests mingled and re-lived their favourite scenes from Season 1 through pictures and interviews.

At 7:30 pm, all guests were ushered into the main screening hall by the Creative Director of REDTV, Obinna Okerekeocha, intimating fans and guests present that the new Season was about to bring on a different dimension. ‘REDTV has taken drama to a different level and we aren’t scared to push the boundaries. Our vision at REDTV is to continually produce premium content for entertainment. The new season of The Men’s Club is real. Its aspirational and relatable. The cinematography and scores are top class and its wonderful to see how the lead actors have grown. This is going to be a bigger hit than Season one’ said Okerekeocha. As end credits from the show reeled on the screen, the room was filled with resounding applause. In a thank you address, Bola Atta the Executive Producer expressed her uttermost joy as the show more than surpassed expectations. She thanked the United Bank for Africa(UBA) for the endless support to ensure the success of REDTV and congratulated Tola Odunsi and Akins Akinkugbe, co-producers of The Men’s Club.

The curtains drew with a final address from Tola Odunsi and Akins ‘AK’ Akinkugbe returning immense gratitude to every single actor and crew behind the scene reminding guests that ‘it’s easy to see the finished show but every single person who contributes to the show makes the job worthwhile’.
