She made it on the face of it almost effortlessly through the I’m a Celebrity final thanks to her quiet confidence and stoic resilience.
However, Coleen Rooney has revealed for the first time that she secretly questioned her role on the show after a week of missing her family.
She describes how she sobbed after only a few days of being reminded of Wayne and her sons whose faces were emblazoned on her pillow after narrowly losing out to Danny Jones in a conversation with the Mirror.
One morning when I woke up, I looked at the pillow and there was an obvious Wayne and the kids, and I cried and wondered whether I could continue this way, she says. However, she claims she “soon snapped out” by getting sucked into her washing machine instead.
