Tommy Fury spoke about the moment he “lost his family” as he celebrated his boxing victory tonight. The boxer fought in Hungary this evening, coming out on top, and was quick to thank his partner Molly-Mae Hague.

The Love Island stars announced their split previously but have since gone back together and are working on their romance. The pair confirmed they are back together after a string of family holidays, just as Molly-Mae released new episodes of her documentary.

Tonight, as he spoke after his victory, Tommy thanked Molly-Mae and paid tribute to her and their daughter Bambi. He said: “I just want to say thank you for this victory to the Lord Saviour Jesus Christ, without him none of this would be possible.

“I want to say hello to my beautiful baby girl Bambi at home, my sweetheart Molly, she’ll always be mine forever. And I want to dedicate this to my mother and father because without them I wouldn’t be breathing, I wouldn’t be here. The reason I am here today is my mother and father. I will love them until the day I die and I owe them everything.”

Admitting the last few years had been a struggle for him, Tommy added: “I’ve been through a hell of a lot these last two year. I’ve been though things that tear men down, drunk, alcoholic; I lost my family for a little bit.

“But I’ve turned things around, I’ve gone from being low to being on top of the world again.”

In the new episodes of her documentary, Molly-Mae confirmed she was back with Tommy. She said: “I love Tommy so much and I love our family so much that I’m willing to ride the wave.

“And that’s not something that everyone wants to do, but it’s something that I’m willing to do because I want my family. Obviously, he knows it’s the drink. He’s not drank now for what, four months?”

She added: “I don’t think the drink’s gone away forever. Do I think that drink could still be a problem for us, potentially? Yeah, but I think the break-up showed Tommy that I’m serious. He’s just really different these days.”

Whilst Molly-Mae said things were looking up, she wasn’t sure what was around the corner.

“I always say I don’t know what the future holds. I don’t think it’s going to be a plain sailing future. I don’t, that’s just me being honest. I think we’re still going to have bumps,” she said.

“The dream is still the same that, you know, we’ll get to a place one day when we will all be happy in that house together and have more children, hopefully, and just have a really nice, happy life together. That’s all I’ve ever wanted for us. I don’t want to get too excited, but I’m getting glimmers of what I always wanted, which is, my family.

“I know that we have got something completely worth saving but you never know what’s around the corner.”

David and Victoria Beckham feud with Nicola Peltz explodes after ‘deeply unpleasant’ claims

David and Victoria Beckham’s pals have hit back after Nicola Peltz’s friends accused the Beckhams of ’emotional abuse and toxic behaviour’ in an extraordinary outburst

The row between David and Victoria Beckham and their daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz descended into open warfare last night.

The couple’s friends have reacted with fury after Nicola’s pals made a series of extraordinary claims about the reason why the rift between Brooklyn and his family emerged.

Her friend claimed: “We are at this point because Nicola, an outsider coming into the Beckham family, has been able to help Brooklyn see the emotional abuse and toxic behavior within his family, that it’s not healthy and it’s not normal and it’s not ok.”

But the comments have sparked outrage from sources close to the Beckhams.

“I don’t think anyone who has ever seen David and Victoria with their children would recognise this deeply unpleasant attack,” the source said. “It doesn’t even warrant a response it’s so ludicrous and patently untrue.”

A second source close to the family said they had been left “open-mouthed” that Nicola’s friends were “pumping out untruths.” The source added: ““You wouldn’t expect this of your worst enemy, let alone close family members. The whole thing beggars belief.”

Some are worried that Brooklyn has cut himself off not just from his mum and dad, but his siblings and old friends too.

“It’s a desperately sad situation,” says one pal. “Everyone loves Brooklyn so much and hopes things can be resolved.”

Other acquaintances of David and Victoria, as well as circles in LA where the billionaire Peltz family live, say there has been signs of trouble brewing for some time. As one succinctly put it: “It was always going to implode at some point.”

Friends of the Beckhams say the whole saga is even more upsetting given the lengths to which the family have backed Nicola, including promoting her film Lola. A source said: “How the Beckhams have been cast as unsupporting is ridiculous when they have been regularly posting about her endeavours to their millions of followers.

“But what makes the current situation even more galling is how Nicola appears to relish the association with the family name when it suits her.” They pointed to one “bizarre” occasion when Nicola was photographed wearing a blue and white Dolce & Gabbana biker jacket last February.

Victoria had famously worn the same jacket in the terraces of Old Trafford to watch Manchester United be crowned Premier League champions, in 2001.

At the time it was speculated by outlets – including fashion bible Vogue – that Nicola had been “granted access to her mother-in-law’s personal archive of noughties fashion.” But friends of the Beckhams say this was not the case at all.

One said: “If not obsessive, it was definitely the most bizarre behaviour especially given relations weren’t the greatest anyway in the wake of the wedding.”

Friends of Nicola claimed that her mum bought her the jacket in September 2023, “not knowing Victoria had worn it”.

“Nicola however did recognize the jacket and thought it was sweet to wear something her mother in law had worn,” the pal said. “Nicola has only ever attempted to be close to the Beckhams as she’s close with her own family.”

Friends of the Beckhams say the build-up to the lavish 2022 three-day nuptials at the £76 million family mansion in Palm Beach, Florida, was when the “alarm bells began to ring.”

A source claimed: “Nicola was very stressed out and quite difficult to be around and at the time everyone put it down to wedding nerves, and gave her the benefit of the doubt. But looking back it was the beginning of the relationship fracturing.”

This reached a head when a row broke-out over her wedding dress, which many assumed would be designed by her mother-in-law. In the end she wore a Valentino gown. Nicola’s pals claim Victoria offered to do it but then avoided texts and calls with her stylist Leslie Fremar to sort out the next steps. In the end Victoria texted Nicola that she couldn’t do it, the pal said.

But sources close to the Beckhams disputed this version of events, adding: “This was such a long time ago….everyone needs to move on.”

Many have pointed to Nicola’s upbringing and the influence of her doting, yet combative billionaire businessman father Nelson Peltz. A source said: “You don’t get that rich by being shy and retiring. There is no doubt Nicola has inherited his spirit.”

Her in-laws have watched as both Nicola, and her father, have launched two expensive lawsuits in as many years.

First, Mr Peltz sued the wedding planners who oversaw Nicola and Brooklyn nuptials last April because of alleged ‘mistakes’. The planners hit back and filed a counterclaim in a Miami court for breach of contract and ‘interference’ with a business deal. Both parties eventually settled.

Then last July, Nicola herself took legal action against the groomer who worked on her chihuahua Nala shortly before her death. A source said: “Nicola doesn’t take any prisoners and woe betide anyone who crosses her. The Beckhams are now in the crosshairs. It’s why no one can see any way this whole saga ends anytime soon.”

Tracy Beaker stars now from actor ‘who hasn’t aged a day’ to ‘life-changing’ move

Amid Tracy Beaker actress Dani Harmer’s growing success on TikTok, The Mirror takes a look at what some of the cast of the iconic children’s TV show are up to now

Tracy Beaker lit up our TV screens when it first aired more than two decades ago(Image: BBC)

Over the years Jacqueline Wilson has brought us some iconic characters – including the famous Tracy Beaker.

Known for being loud and fierce on the surface, Tracy often found herself getting in trouble with grown ups, whether that was for eating a worm, accidentally letting two giant African land snails escape into the Dumping Ground or telling everyone she met to “bog off”. But deep down all Tracy wanted was a home and a family to love, leading to plenty of more emotional moments too, though in true Tracy fashion, she would always inevitably brush any tears off as simply being down to her “hay fever”.

So iconic was the character that it inspired the BBC show The Story of Tracy Beaker which ran from 2002 to 2005 and featured an equally memorable theme tune. In honour of the noughties classic show, here The Mirror takes a closer look at what some of its cast are up to now…

Tracy Beaker – Dani Harmer

Dani Harmer
Dani Harmer rose to fame as the iconic Tracy Beaker

All fans of Tracy Beaker will know Dani Harmer as being the actress behind the character, having played her throughout all five series. Following the show’s end, Dani has brought the character back to life on numerous occasions, most recently in January when she returned to our screens for one episode of The Dumping Ground.

As well as playing Tracy, Dani, who has opened up on her children’s savage reaction to the show, has appeared in various pantomimes and took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2012 where she finished in fourth place. She also runs The Dani Harmer Academy in Berkshire and recently joined TikTok where she has already amassed a whopping 298,000 followers. Away from acting, Dani signed a record deal in 2008 though told her TikTok followers that they’d never hear her album, joking that it was “better best forgotten”.

Justine Littlewood – Montanna Thompson

No show would be complete without some good old fashioned rivalry and Tracy’s rival came in the form of Justine Littlewood, played by Montanna Thompson. Like Dani, Montanna has reprised her role on multiple occasions, most recently from 2021 to 2023 when she appeared in The Beaker Girls, though she’s appeared in other shows including The Queen’s Nose, Doctors and The Bill.

Montanna is also on TikTok and has gained 32,500 followers where she gives updates from her life as a mum to son Cobey. Commenting on her debut on the platform, one fan wrote: “You haven’t aged one day omg”. Another added: “Justine Littlewood omg you still look the same used to watch you when I was little”.

Back in February she shared a worrying snap of herself in hospital as she revealed she was having “pins put in” her leg, adding that it “hopefully should start getting better now”.

Mike – Connor Byrne

Connor Byrne
Connor Byrne has opened up on his time playing Mike

Prior to appearing on Tracy Beaker as careworker Mike Milligan, actor Connor Byrne had already secured roles in the likes of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Inspector Morse and The Bill. In recent years he has returned to our screens for different Tracy Beaker spin-offs, and has appeared on soaps including Emmerdale.

Speaking to Radio Times about his time on the show, he said: “What I cherish was the ethos, the inclusivity, the didactic nature of all the shows. You can’t love all the kids you work with, but many of them stole my heart. None more so than Dani – a wise head on very young shoulders, a funny head in a very serious job, a diligent head amongst the frivolity.”

Cam – Lisa Coleman

Lisa Coleman
Lisa Coleman played Tracy’s adoptive mum Cam

While Tracy may not have immediately hit it off with her eventual adoptive mum Cam, played by Lisa Coleman, after she set fire to her kitchen, the pair’s relationship endured throughout the show. Throughout her acting career, Lisa has enjoyed roles on high profile shows such as Casualty, French and Saunders and Call The Midwife.

Aside from her acting career, Lisa has completed a psychology degree from the Open University. “I already work as a volunteer occupational therapist in a psychiatric unit,” she told The Independent in 2005. “The work really fascinates me and I am beginning to think of giving up acting and training to be a psychiatric nurse. This degree is a great start to doing that. If I succeed, I’ll be able to see if I was acting the role accurately.”

Elaine ‘the Pain’ – Nisha Nayar

Nisha Nayar
Nisha Nayar appeared as Elaine ‘the Pain’

While Tracy and social worker Elaine ‘the Pain’ notoriously didn’t always get on, Dani has revealed that things couldn’t be more untrue for her relationship with actress Nisha Nayar, explaining that she even keeps a picture of herself and Nisha “by her bed”.

Although the character Elaine ‘the Pain’ may be an iconic part of people’s childhoods up and down the country, Nisha’s acting credits don’t end there. She has appeared in shows including Doctor Who, Law & Order: UK and ITV’s The Bay. On the big screen she starred in the 2023 film Unicorns alongside EasEnders’ Ben Hardy and in the Oscar nominated film In America.

Duke – Clive Rowe

Clive Rowe
Clive Rowe’s character Duke was the Dumping Ground’s gardener and chef

Loveable Duke was the thread that kept the Dumping Ground together as the home’s resident chef and gardener. Prior to joining the children’s show, actor Clive Rowe had already carved out a successful career in the world of acting, having been nominated for an Olivier Award in 1992 thanks to his role in Carousel. Five years later, he eventually won an Olivier for Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical for his role in Guys and Dolls.

Elsewhere on the stage, Clive has appeared in the likes of Sister Act, Kiss Me, Kate and Into the Woods. Meanwhile on the big screen he’s also made a mark and starred in the 2017 live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast where he played Cuisinier, the castle’s head chef who is turned into a stove.

Louise – Chelsie George

Louise may have been a shyer character on the show, but she certainly made her mark as Justine’s best friend. Who could forget the time she and Tracy had a huge fight? Since her time on the show, Chelsie George has become a successful content creator and has secured 30,000 followers on Instagram where she documents all things motherhood and pregnancy. She also has her on YouTube channel filled with Tracy Beaker insights.

Chelsie, who became a mum to daughter Goldie in 2023 is currently expecting her second child with husband Iain, who is due in November. In between juggling life as a busy mum and creating content for her followers, Chelsie runs Fit Peach Fitness which provides home workouts.

Bouncer – Ben Hanson

Ben Hanson
Bouncer star Ben Hanson now lives in America

As one of the older children on the show, Bouncer’s storyline was filled with twists and turns as he navigated the move away from the Dumping Ground before returning later as a chef. Nowadays actor Ben Hanson lives in America where he lives with his wife Kelsey.

Reflecting on his decision to move to the US in a heartfelt Instagram post, he wrote: “Just over 18 months ago, I made the decision to up route my life and start a fresh in America. My decision was lead by a prayer that I said one night probably at my lowest point. I asked for a sign of what I should do.”

After dreaming of a voice, in an American accent, telling him how he was on the wrong path, he revealed: “The saying “That is not your path” changed my life, it gave me comfort, it gave me hope but most importantly it gave me the courage to up sticks and move to the states.”

Lol – Ciaran Joyce

Ciaran Joyce

Beside Bouncer at every turn was his beloved brother Lol, played by Ciaran Joyce. Following his stint on the show Ciaran went on to forge a name for himself in the world of acting, with credits including Torchwood, Holby City and Young Dracula. Most recently he appeared in the BBC show Wolf which premiered in July 2023.

Back in August 2023, Ciaran opened up about his experience of sobriety as he celebrated being six years sober. “It’s not easy, but it’s by far the best decision I ever made. Thank you to the sober community for its constant support, understanding and inspiration.”

He added: “I look back at that depressed, frustrated, anxious, confused, angry, functioning alcoholic young man and I’m proud of him. Really f***ing proud. I don’t recognise him anymore but I know I had to walk in his shoes in order to be where I am today.”

Pope Leo XIV’s election was nothing like dramatic Conclave film, says cardinal

The BAFTA winning film Conclave wasn’t like the real-life conclave that led to the election of Pope Leo XIV, Cardinal Vincent Nichols has told the media following the event

(Image: Conclave)

A cardinal who participated in the conclave to elect Pope Leo XIV has said that the atmosphere was “fraternal”. He’s suggested that it lacked the high-stakes drama depicted in the award-winning film Conclave.

The film, which was released last year, imagined the secret meeting of cardinals in Rome as a tense and bureaucratic process with many twists and turns. However, Cardinal Vincent Nichols, described as the leader of Catholics in England and Wales, said that the reality of his first conclave this week was far from the dramatic portrayal on screen.

As reported by PA, whilst speaking to reporters in Italy on Friday, a day after the new Pope’s election, Cardinal Nichols described the experience as “refreshing” and said that he found it difficult to leave. He likened it to a spiritual retreat, where he could be himself at a “profound level”.

He said: “I found it very refreshing and I found it more like going on a spiritual retreat than anything else. There was this sense of here was something of a sacred space and within that space it was possible to, at a very profound level, just be myself.”

Cardinal Nichols suggested that he hadn’t been in a rush to leave. He said: “So actually by the time we were coming to lunch today there was quite a bit of me didn’t want to leave because there was something to be deeply treasured in the fraternity and in the prayerfulness of it.”

In contrast, the film Conclave, based on Robert Harris’ novel of the same name, stars Ralph Fiennes as Cardinal Thomas Lawrence, the Dean of the College of Cardinals, who navigates scheming clerics and external threats to find the best candidate for the papacy. The film also featured Isabella Rossellini, Stanley Tucci and John Lithgow among its cast.

The film won four BAFTAs earlier this year including in the Outstanding British Film, Best Film and Editing categories. Writer Peter Straughan, who was also awarded an Oscar for his work, received the Adapted Screenplay award.

Cardinal Nichols, from Liverpool, however shared that the recent real-life conclave didn’t mirror the movie’s portrayal of cardinals lobbying for their preferred papal candidate. As 133 cardinals cast their ballots within the Sistine Chapel, they were sequestered just a stone’s throw away at the Santa Marta guesthouse.

Reflecting on the atmosphere, Cardinal Nichols said: “I went into each meal and just sat down where there was a chair, next to whoever it was. I didn’t get a sense of people trying to gather in clusters or in pressure groups or any of that.”

He continued by saying that he didn’t feel people were “trying to promote themselves” or “block” others. Cardinal Nichols said: “And at no point did I feel there was the slightest bit of rancour or somebody trying to promote themselves or even block somebody else, unlike the film.”

The cardinal added: “I think this was a very, very lovely and congenial and fraternal time together. And I think every cardinal would attest to that, even those who didn’t disagree particularly with the drift of things.”

Molly-Mae Hague has given insight into her relationship with Tommy Fury, as the beauty mogul hinted at their “rocky” future.

In the second part of her documentary, Behind It All, Molly confirmed that the couple are back together. However, Molly gave a frank and honest admission about their fate as she told fans during new episodes of the Prime series, which were released today, that it’s not going to be an “easy ride”.

The couple met on Love Island in 2019 and encountered a rocky partnership after breaking up last summer without fully explaining why at the time. Rekindling their romance just under a year later, she explained their relationship ended after a string of issues, including his battle with booze and vicious rumours about his behaviour.

Speaking about their future in her documentary, Molly confessed: “I don’t think it’s gonna be a plain sailing future. I don’t. That’s just me being honest. I think we’re still gonna have bumps.”

The new episodes also revealed that Molly’s sister Zoe still appears to have concerns about Tommy and his ability to control his previous alcohol issues.

When asked if he has addressed his issues, Molly replied: “Yeah, obviously he knows it’s the drink. He’s not drank now, like for what four months. But no, I don’t think the drinks gone away forever.

“Could drink still be a problem for us? Potentially yes. But the break-up showed I was serious,” she added.

“He’s really, really like, changing as a person. I love Tommy so much and I love our family so much that I’m willing to ride the wave. And that’s not something that everyone wants to do, but it’s something that I’m willing to do because I want my family.”

On the new Prime series, Molly also shared: “I understand why Zoe would have her reservations and worries about Tommy and I getting back together. I told her everything, and I think she’s not someone that can hear that stuff and then be like, Okay, let’s move on.”

As she prepared for Bambi’s second birthday party with her family, Molly surprised them as she confessed to wanting a sister or brother for Bambi.

“I know I’ll have to have another baby at some point, because there’s just no way I’m having her being a single child, I’ve seen her play with other children. Like, she lights her up,” Molly said.

Ronald Corp dead: BBC star musician dies as fans pay tribute to huge talent

Tributes have been paid to composer and conductor Ronald Corp, who, as well as founding groups like the New London Orchestra, worked with the BBC over the course of his career

It’s been announced that conductor Ronald Corp has died, aged 74(Image: Press Association)

BBC musician Richard Corp has died, it’s been announced. The conductor and composer had enjoyed a decades-long career in music, including having worked with the BBC on several occasions. It has been announced that Ronald died, aged 74, in Bath on Wednesday. The news has prompted tributes to the late musician, who was also ordained as a priest, with those who knew him remembering him on social media.

Ronald is known as the founder of both the New London Orchestra (NLO) and the New London Children’s Choir (NLCC), which launched in 1988 and 1991 respectively. More recently, he had been the musical director of the London Chorus for over 30 years after taking on the role in 1994.

Over the years, Ronald had worked with the BBC, including having conducted its BBC Concert Orchestra on occasion. He’s said to have made his first appearance at the BBC Proms in the Albert Hall in 1990 with the BBC Club Choir.

The news of Ronald’s death was announced by the London Chorus, including on Instagram last night. They wrote beside a photo: “It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Musical Director, Ronald Corp, on 7th May. Ron was a highly talented composer, conductor and chorus master.”

And the choir concluded: “Just over a year ago, we had the joy of being conducted by Ron in a performance of Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius. It was one of many highlights in a long and richly fulfilling relationship. Ron will be missed hugely by us all. ‘Go forth upon thy journey, Christian soul!'”

Classic FM also shared the news yesterday. A post on the radio station’s account read: “Ronald Corp OBE, composer, conductor, ordained priest and a great champion of English choral music, has died aged 74. Corp founded the New London Orchestra and the New London Children’s Choir, and was due to perform one of his own works at this year’s Three Choirs Festival in Hereford. Thank you for the music, maestro.”

The post was met with tributes to Ronald. One person reacted in the comments section: “Truly sad news, Ron was a fabulous musician and a lovely person.” Whilst another said: “A huge loss – he will be remembered so fondly.”
