Rebecca Loos’ searingly honest justification for David Beckham ‘affair’

Rebecca Loos, David Beckham’s ex-personal assistant, is scheduled to appear on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins this week and is speaking out about her alleged affair with Beckham once more.

Rebecca Loos has once more revealed her alleged relationship with David Beckham.

More than two decades have passed since Rebecca Loos first claimed she had an affair with David Beckham, but it still remains one of the most explosive celebrity scandals of the early 2000s.

Rebecca, a former glamour model and Beckham’s personal assistant in 2003, is making a TV comeback on Channel 4 this week as she takes part in Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins. Like all the recruits, Rebecca faced a grilling in the show’s Mirror Room. Jason Fox and Chris Oliver questioned her motives for being on the show before asking how she felt about her affair with Beckham now she’s had the time to reflect on it.

“It felt unjust that my life was pretty hell and his (Beckham’s) life kept going and kept blossoming. I’ve been accused of being a liar. I’ve had a lifetime of opinions around me, I’ve definitely developed thick skin.

“I think the public opinion now has softened, at least from what I’m gathering since the documentary came out with the Beckhams a couple of years ago. I think it is now because thanks to social media, there is a whole different following out there, which it’s a double-edged sword.”

The drama began in 2003 after Beckham had just completed a high-profile move from Manchester United to Real Madrid, a career-defining transfer that promised fresh footballing glory in Spain.

Rebecca Loos, 26, who was hired as a personal assistant to help the Beckhams settle into Spanish life, joined the move.

Beckham and Loos were photographed leaving a Madrid nightclub together in September that year. Both parties remained silent as soon reports of an affair started to circulate.

However, when Loos sold her story in a exclusive interview with News of the World in April 2004, everything changed. She claimed that the couple had been romantically involved for four months. We just connected, she said, explaining why she made the alleged fling. It was noticed by others. She claimed that David told her, “Why don’t we just lose the rest and why don’t we just go back together,” after explaining that the idea of group drinks at the hotel was floated after a night out.

When I looked at him, I was shocked and taken aback. In a joke, I said, “**** off.” However, there was a look and I was standing before him. One of the women we were with apparently sat between us and me. I think David and I had a great time chemistry.

She explained why she agreed and that she was concerned about putting her job on hold because she knew he was a married man. “I believe David and I had a great relationship because we were acting so poorly and he is a married man,” he said. I then realized what he had asked of me, so I made the decision to ask him again. We exchanged a glance, paid the bill, and then left. He felt the same way about me and I could not wait to be by himself. After dropping the other two people off in the car, we returned to the hotel and began to kiss passionately… It was pretty amazing, like magnets.

Beckham reaffirmed his commitment to his wife Victoria and issued a strong denial of the allegations. In a statement made at the time, he said, “I am very happily married. My wife and my two children are wonderful.

However, harm had been caused. Victoria, who had stayed in England during Beckham’s first season at Madrid, was the subject of speculation as to their relationship. She later described that time as “the most unhappy time of my life.”

Loos reportedly received a sizable sum of money for her reporting, including a Sky One television special. Later, she claimed that because of “better it comes from me,” she went public.

The Beckhams never directly sued Loos, but in 2006, after filing defamation claims against News of the World, they settled in a confidential manner. Beckham has consistently refuted these claims.

In 2023, Netflix’s Beckham docuseries reignited interest in the alleged affair. Though Loos is never mentioned by name, the show offers emotional testimony from both David and Victoria about the strain the scandal caused.

David acknowledges that this was the most difficult time for him. That was incredibly challenging for us to go through.

In March 2025, Loos re-emerged on 60 Minutes Australia to reaffirm her version of events. “I’ve never lied about a single thing,” she insisted. Now living in Norway, Loos explained how the experience impacted her mental health and why she chose to speak out again: “I’m going up against the strongest, most powerful couple in the media. All I had on my side was the truth.”

Admitting she knew he was a married man and that she was worried about jeopardising her job at the time, she shared her reason for agreeing. In an interview for Sky TV she said: When I looked at him, I was shocked and taken aback. In a joke, I said, “**** off.” However, there was a look and I was standing before him. One of the women we were with apparently sat between us and me. I think David and I had a great time chemistry.”

Starting on August 3rd, Channel 4 will start broadcasting or live streaming of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins every Sunday and Monday at 9pm.

Bob Dylan fans spot ‘rare’ moment during live show and ask ‘is this normal’

Bob Dylan gave a “rare” moment to the veteran performer during an otherwise ordinary performance that some audience members didn’t expect.

Fans of veteran performer Bob Dylan questioned whether a gesture made during a recent performance was “normal.” The Mr. Tambourine Man hitmaker was reportedly the subject of a “rare” moment from the songwriter, according to those who attended the show and those who had previously seen him. Fans have since shared a video of the incident on social media, which has since sparked discussion there.

Fans questioned whether it was typical for Dylan to be so accommodating to the crowd in a post to the r/BobDylan subreddit. The performer reportedly had a very special and uncommon sight to witness him engaging with the audience in the same way at a performance in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Fans were left scratching their heads for all the right reasons at Dylan’s performance as part of Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Music Festival tour.

Is this typical, a user asked? He simply sung Under the Red Sky, and he actually thanked you in the microphone before laughing and saying, “It’s hot as summer out here.”

Fans have since confirmed that this isn’t typical for Dylan’s recent live performances. One user wrote, “Bob’s standing ability is hardly common these days and always a rarity.” This was unique, in my opinion.

Another performer had a similar experience at the same time in April. We spent the night with you there, they said. My kids’ first Dylan performance was on, and their birthday! Because it was unusual for him to express his gratitude, even kiddo noticed. It sounded special.

When I saw him in Pittsburg in April, he said, “This is definitely a lovely place to play,” it is indeed. I don’t know how old it is, but it’s older than me, and I feared falling.

We also received a thank-you for what he really seemed to be having a great time that night.

It contrasts a lot with Dylan’s UK tour. The 84-year-old’s return to British soil in November is likely to be a continuation of his quiet demeanor on stage.

Dylan’s setlist for the Rough and Rowdy Ways tour will likely change depending on where he performs at his Outlaw Music Festival shows, including Swansea, Glasgow, and Leeds.

Although he has been making more surprise commentaries, as he did when he mentioned Ernest Hemingway at a Liverpool gig, those shows hardly ever had him speak to the audience.

Lucy Bronze mum’s powerful response when Lioness told ‘You can’t play football with boys’

Lucy Bronze, the women’s football team from England, won the Euros on Sunday after beating Spain on penalties. The woman made history with the women’s team.

Lucy Bronze’s mum had no time for those who told her daughter she couldn’t play football like the boys. The inspiring Lioness, 33 – whose full name is Lucia Roberta Tough Bronze – made history with the women’s England football team on Sunday when they won the Euros again after beating Spain on penalties.

Lucy has loved playing football since she was little, but almost had her dreams dashed when her old football coach told her that she would have to leave the mixed team she was playing in for fear of injuring herself.

When Lucy was ten years old, her mother, Diane, purchased the resilient athlete with her first pair of football boots. The young Lioness also played football as the only girl on a team of boys during her final year of primary school.

However, the Chelsea star, who revealed she had a broken leg in the final yesterday, said her mother wouldn’t accept “no” for an answer after being told she would have to leave the team.

Speaking to the Guardian, she recalled Diane responding: “Right. No one is telling my little girl that she can’t do something!”

Lucy frequently posts photos of her adoring mother on Instagram, and last year she paid tribute with two adorable photos to her “number one fan since day one.”

The Berwick-upon-Tweed defender, who had a broken tibia during Euro 2025, was able to demonstrate her tenacity.

In the shootout, Lucy scored a penalty after strapping up her own leg in the quarter-final victory over Sweden, keeping the English defense in top shape all the way through the knockout stages.

However, when asked how she felt following Sunday’s nail-biting final, Bronze paused and grinned before revealing: “I actually played the entire tournament with a fractured tibia, but no-one knew.

“And then I just hurt my other leg today by my knee.”

Because I’ve played a lot of games before, I think that’s why I received a lot of praise from the girls after the Sweden game. But I’ll do that if that’s what it takes to play for England.

Very agonizing.

The Lionesses also settled a personal score with Spain, who had previously defeated them in the World Cup final several years ago, making them the first country to retain the women’s Euros since Germany won six in a row from 1995 to 2013.

Sarina Weigman, England manager, praised Lucy, saying, “We tried to manage that because she had some issues with her tibia.” You’re not managing it when you play 120 minutes, are you? It’s amazing how she and the rest of the team have such great mentalities, but she also has crazy mentalities.

Richard Ashcroft announces huge tour update after ‘nearly outshining Oasis’

After their shared history, Richard Ashcroft would never be questioned, according to Liam Gallagher, who stated it was unquestionable.

After embarking upon the biggest stadium tour of the year as special guest to Oasis, and selling out Manchester’s Co-op Live, Richard Ashcroft today announces additional UK dates due to overwhelming demand. Richard will perform at arenas in Cardiff, Liverpool, London and Leeds in Spring 2026, with tickets on sale at 9.30am on Friday 1st August.

The announcement comes in response to the announcement that his brand-new album Lovin’ You will be released on October 3rd, his first all-new album since 2018’s Natural Rebel, and is a follow-up to 2021’s Acoustic Hymns, Vol. 1.

Speaking on Radio 2 earlier this month Richard Ashcroft said: “The album’s due in September, just after I finish the dates with Oasis. That’ll be coming out in September, and yeah, happy days, we’ll see how it goes. I’m buzzing that I’m still here. I’m still making music, people pay me to make music, people pay me to sing live. It’s like I can’t complain.”

Ashcroft has won huge praise from fans after being picked to join Oasis on their huge sell-out Live 25 tour. Speaking after seeing the band play at Wembley Stadium, David Baddiel said the former Verve frontman gave the Gallaghers a run for their money when it came to entertaining the crowd. Noel has even been spotted watching Ashcroft’s sets before walking on stage himself.

“Oasis were fantastic tonight. However, Richard Ashcroft, who provided the “Scott Walker of Britpop,” nearly made them outlast them in the voiceover.

Without prior authorization, content cannot be displayed.

“Don’t think Richard has ever done a bad show,” replied one of his followers. “Magnificent,” agreed another, while a third said: “It’s the absolute dream lineup. Chris Martin said Richard Ashcroft had the best voice going around. Richard Ashcroft and Oasis playing in 2025. It’s what the world needs some GOOD THINGS! I can’t wait to see them in Australia. Magic. How special to be at Wembley. Brilliant.”

Another X user responded to Baddiel’s video of Ashcroft singing The Drug’s Don’t Work, saying, “This was a real moment in Manchester as well.” That song had a certain freshness or atmosphere in it. Although the Oasis music is excellent, there is a stronger nostalgia tinge to them.

Oasis and Richard Ashcroft have a mutual admiration that dates back to their initial collaboration while they were touring. Richard joins Cast as a special guest on all of their UK shows.

Shop Anne Hathaway’s The Devil Wears Prada 2 T-bar necklace for £80 instead of £9k

On the set of The Devil Wears Prada 2, Anne Hathaway’s snaps have been surfacing, and one piece of jewelry seems to be her go-to accessory.

The Devil Wears Prada is still one of the most well-known movies of the 2000s, and the sequel’s filming is well underway almost 20 years after its initial release in 2006. The Devil Wears Prada 2 features Anne Hathaway, who has been seen filming numerous scenes, and Andy Sachs, who appears to have kept some of her fashionable attire from her time at Runway in the first movie.

There is one thing that has always been a staple in all of her looks, including a T-bar necklace, despite already having seen her in everything, including a tailored trouser suit and a patchwork Gabriele Hearst maxi dress. Due to its 18kt gold and diamond design, the straightforward piece of jewelry has a hefty price tag of about $9, 000.

The best lookalike for Fendi’s £340 knot bracelet is now available for only £55, read more.

The initial necklace by Zara McDermott gives a sweet nod to a romance by Louis Tomlinson.

Fans of the sophisticated necklace, however, are in luck because we found a gorgeous (and much more affordable) alternative, and as an added bonus, you can have it created in your own unique design. You have complete creative control over how you want the Abbott Lyon Custom Stamped T-Bar Necklace to be finished, with the price of the $79 price.

You can choose the type of chain you want, from the tiniest to the most expensive, and have your name engraved in the middle with up to nine characters to play with. To make things more personal, you can also add a glittering birthstone to each end (they don’t have to be the same, you can have two different ones).

The necklace has an anti-tarnish protective coating to prevent it from deteriorating and is made of 18kt gold plating. You can wear it year-round for any occasion because it is water, sweat, and heat-resistant.

If you want an even more affordable pick, Boden’s T-bar Chain Necklace is only £35, although it’s recommended you remove it when applying things like perfume or beauty products, or when going in water. We also love Tilly Sveaas’ Small Gold T-Bar On Belcher Chain, which is slightly pricier at £125-£140 depending on which chain length you pick, and is a favourite of Taylor Swift, who wears hers often.

Anne has already paired her T-bar necklace with a similar-length pearl necklace on all of her outfits. Abbott Lyon also sells the T-bar Pearl Necklace for £59, which swaps out the traditional chain for freshwater pearls if you want to combine the two.
