The Kardashians were in a festive spirit over the weekend as they gathered together to mark Easter – but some members of the fame hungry family were noticeably absent. Matriarch Kris Jenner led celebrations as she shared videos and photographs from a lavish celebration.

Video clips and photos showed the 69-year-old reality star enjoying time with her family – with youngest daughter Kylie Jenner, 27, and middle daughter Khloe, 40, joining in the fun. However, it appeared eldest daughter Kourtney was not in attendance – while second daughter Kim, 44, appeared to celebrate Easter on her own.

Also absent was Kendall Jenner, 29 – Kris’s eldest daughter with ex-husband Caitlyn Jenner, 75. And sole son, Rob Kardashian, 38, was also not there.

In a short reel shared by Khloe – who is the mother to children True, seven, and Tatum, two – showed off a long dessert table that was covered in rice krispie treats, cookies, and various cupcakes. Further content from the family gathering showed other huge cakes as well as vegetables including cauliflower and carrots.

Kylie shared a video to her Instagram Stories that showed her mother engaging with her son Aire, three, and daughter Stormi, seven. More content shared by the reality stars showed Kris’s grandchildren sitting together and playing in the sunshine.

With Kourtney, Kim, Rob and Kendall skipping the Easter fun, some fans may question if Kris might have a new favourite child. In the past, she appeared to suggest that Kim was her favourite.

She wrote via X in the past: “I love my daughter Kim the most! She’s just the cutest and sweetest! ” And she followed it up with: “Kim is just so smart! Everything I know so learned from her! ! ! ! ! “

Back in 2022, Kris appeared on The Late Late Show With James Corden where she featured on an episode alongside Kylie. During the course of the episode, Kris was connected to a lie detector machine and fielded a range of revealing questions.

During this segment, Kylie asked her: “Am I your favorite child? ” Kris swiftly responded: “Yes” – and the polygraph expert determined she was telling the truth.

Just two days ago, however, Kris shared her love for her eldest daughter, Kourtney, as she marked her 46th birthday. Kris shared a throwback snap of herself with her daughter as a baby and wrote: “Happy Birthday to my first born, my gift from God, my beautiful Kourtney! “

Mommy.” Last year, TV fans had their hopes raised that The Kardashians TV show could soon be cancelled as audience figures dwindled. The fame-hungry stars have been on screens since their reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, began airing in 2007.

That series can to an end in 2021, but was reborn as The Kardashians on the Disney owned Hulu streaming service in 2022. The show has already aired six seasons with a seventh confirmed to be happening – however, fans have finally started to turn off from the attention-desperate show. In Touch prevously reported that ratings were down – sparking fears for Kris that the show could end up getting cancelled.

A source previously told Pop Culture: “Kris wants the show to go on forever. But the economic realities of the streaming world are creeping up on her. Everything from marketing budgets to episode counts are getting tighter so streaming services can continue making a profit. “

The source added: “When it does happen, it will enable them to concentrate on other things. Their businesses, with the help of their social media presence and the imprint they already have in popular culture, will sustain them. There’s definitely a feeling they’ve squeezed the lemon long enough. “

According to reports, Eamonn has been having increasing health problems amid ongoing back pain and mobility issues. The presenter even sparked concern recently by going ‘missing’ from his usual presenting duties one day on GB News.

“Ruth honestly doesn’t talk about Eamonn, she’s really moved on from that part of her life,” a source told OK! Magazine. “But of course, she does care about him, because they share a child and they were married for a long time.”

Despite feeling ‘sad’ that her former partner is struggling, the presenter is also staying strong and focusing on herself. They added: “She has seen that he is struggling, and it’s sad to see anyone in that situation.

The Prince and Princess of Wales decided to skip the Windsor gathering to extend their break in Norfolk having just returned from a family skiing holiday, to spend more time with their three young children.

However, William is understood to be reluctant to spend time with his uncle Andrew, 65, at any family gathering, after the Duke heaped shame on himself and the institution in recent years. The Prince of Wales was instrumental in Andrew’s banishment from royal life, after his disastrous Newsnight interview in 2019 which exposed his relationship with the late billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

A royal source said: “William has no time for his uncle. This Easter was about spending time with his own family, but he would far prefer a situation where he doesn’t have to spend time with him. ” Andrew has become embroiled in a series of further scandals after reaching an out-of-court settlement worth £12million with Virginia Giuffre, a former sex slave of Epstein’s who accused the royal of sexually assaulting her on three occasions in 2001. The settlement, in February 2022, was made without any admission of liability and Andrew has consistently and vehemently denied any wrongdoing.

The King overruled William over cutting Andrew adrift, by inviting him to Balmoral in the summer of 2023 to spend time with him and the extended family. William was pictured driving his uncle to Crathie Kirk church one Sunday, with the Princess of Wales in the back seat. Sources said Andrew was ‘cookahoop’ at no longer being an outcast.

But he soon incurred the wrath of the King and senior palace officials over his refusal to vacate his 30-room Royal Lodge mansion, when offered a smaller home on the Windsor estate. Andrew was then last December identified as having an “unusual degree of trust” with Yang Tengbo, a Chinese businessman banned from entering Britain over alleged connections to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Mr Yang, the co-founder of Andrew’s now-defunct Dragon’s Den style investor programmed ‘Pitch@Palace’, unsuccessfully challenged the decision at the Special Immigration Appeals Commission (SIAC), unearthing extraordinary details of his relationship with the disgraced Duke in the process. The controversy forced Andrew to miss the royal family’s traditional Christmas gathering at Sandringham.

It subsequently emerged last month how Andrew and his former adviser Dominic Hampshire twice went to Windsor “without being seen” to talk to the King about an investment fund linked to Mr Yang. Mr Hampshire said in evidence to the SIAC dated May 2024, that he had met twice with Andrew and the King in the previous six months to discuss “what the duke can do moving forwards in a way that is acceptable to His Majesty”.

Buckingham Palace did not deny that the meetings took place but said at no point did Andrew or his former aide Dominic Hampshire mention the Chinese businessman, believed to have been tasked with turning the Duke’s fortunes around. Mr Yang has previously said he intends to appeal against the decision upholding his ban from entering the UK.

A senior royal source said: “The Duke seems to be in the habit of being a significant contributor of headaches for the family and many have run out of patience with him.” One of Andrew’s remaining supporters continues to be his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, who he still lives with in Windsor.
