Lioness star Michelle Agyemang’s life – from Wembley ball girl to England’s hidden talent

Michelle Agyemang, a teen footballer who has made an incredible impact on England’s triumphant passage to the 2025 Euro final, has certainly come along way.

Michelle Agyemang, an England footballer, may only be 19 years old, but she quickly established herself as a crucial member of the Lioness squad for the upcoming Euros. Agyemang has a hidden talent far from the pitch, but just four years prior, she was standing on the sidelines at Wembley.

The Lionesses have been on a wild ride during this summer’s Women’s European Championship. They were two goals down in the final moments of the quarter-final against Sweden and were just 90 seconds away from being knocked out by Italy in the semi-finals. Yet, Sarina Wiegman’s team managed to triumph in both matches and are now on the cusp of making history.

Thanks to her two dramatic goals, Agyemang deserves the most credit for her thrilling journey to today’s final. Agyemang, who only previously played for the senior team before the tournament, is the youngest member in Wiegman’s squad, age 19. What else about the Lioness star is known, though?

Agyemang, who hails from South Ockendon, plays as a forward for Arsenal and, of course, the England national team. She made her Lioness debut earlier this year after an injury to her Arsenal teammate Alessia Russo provided her with the opportunity to step onto the pitch after progressing through the youth ranks.

She fully seized the chance, scoring a stunning volley just 41 seconds after starting as a substitute. However, Agyemang was a ball girl watching England’s World Cup qualifier against Northern Ireland at Wembley in 2021 just four years prior.

It was her first official appearance at Wembley and her first time playing for England’s senior national team back then. Fast forward to today, and the teenager is assisting in the Lionesses’ victory.

However, the young star’s striking and quick-step abilities on the pitch are just a few of her impressive skills. Agyemang, who is not a professional pianist, is a budding pianist who even took the instrument with her to the Swiss Euros.

She told England Football, “The kit men brought it over in a van.” I’ve been enjoying that a lot. It is peaceful and unwinding. I played a few things for her when she [Wubben-Moy] arrived in my room.

The football player’s life appears to be heavily influenced by music. She mentioned on the “That Lionesses Podcast” that CeCe Winans and Fred Hammond were her two favorite gospel singers. “They’re a bit older, from the ‘ 80s and ‘ 90s. She remarked, “I was raised on gospel music.

When she’s not scoring goals for England or playing a soothing tune on her piano, Agyemang is busy with her other hobby, Lego. “I was building a really tiny stadium the other day because I was bored and suddenly Lucy [Bronze] was like, ‘We can make this so much better’. We made a replica of the stadium and now she wants to make it a tradition, so I think we’ll have to do Geneva next time,” she told England Football.

Luxury fragrance brand launches £62 ‘Aperol spritz’ perfume that smells like summer weekends

Maison Margiela’s REPLICA has released a new ” Aperol spritz ” fragrance known as “summer in a bottle “.

Summer is (hopefully) here to stay thanks to gloomy evenings, blue skies, and sunny mornings. There is no better time to enjoy a new scent now that the warm weather is mostly over. Replica by Maison Margiela has just released what might be its most summery scent to date if you’re looking for a new fragrance to match your mood.

Untitled, the French luxury fashion house’s first fragrance, was released in 2010 and has since gained a cult following thanks to its gender-neutral scents and home fragrances. The recognizable REPLICA line, created in 2012, was created to evoke sentimental and nostalgic feelings.

Each fragrance attempts to recreate a well-known scent, from By the Fireplace to Lazy Sunday Morning. And now, the Italian coastline vibe of Never Ending Summer is present.

This scent has a spicy citrus flavor that will easily become your new favorite of the year.

I tested Poundland’s £1 milky toner, which promises “glass skin,” against a £15 K-beauty purchase.

The base notes of patchouli, cedarwood, and vetiver give the Mediterranean citrus scents an earthy undertone, while the top notes include spritz accord, bitter orange, and pepper duet. The overwhelming opinions on this scent were either “summer in a bottle” or “perfect summer scent.”

Summer in a bottle was praised by one customer. Never-ending Summer Eau de Toilette by Maison Margiela has a unique scent of sunshine! I’m immediately lifted up by the scent of citrus and the warm, sun-drenched notes it has when it first comes out. It lingers beautifully without being overpowering because it is light, fresh, and effortless. It truly captures the carefree, golden-hour vibe. This fragrance is ideal for everyday wear or a summer getaway because it feels warm and inviting.

“So summery,” added a second. This was a present for a friend who was on her honeymoon in the Amalfi Coast. She wears it now a lot, and the scent is amazing. My friend says it reminds her so much of being on the Amalfi Coast, and it is very citrusy and fresh, perfect for summer.

However, a couple did point out that the price’s price doesn’t pay off in the same way. Summer in a bottle doesn’t last long enough, according to a reviewer. Today I had to try this in-store. It has a refreshing citrus scent that is perfectly balanced, neither sweet nor sour, even at all. After two hours, it left with a faint mossy scent, and my only gripe is that it didn’t last.

Oasis guitarist leaves fans in stitches with just one word as he hits back at setlist comment

Fans of Paul Arthurs, known as Bonehead to Oasis fans, are in stitches since he began responding to questions on X about Noel and Liam Gallagher’s Heaton Park setlist.

Fans will beg you for a funny response from Oasis rhythm guitarist Bonehead. Fans praised the founding member on the r/Oasis Reddit page when the one-word response to a question about X was shared. Boohead left the Manchester band in 1991, and he has since made a second appearance on the Live ’25 tour dates.

After a number of sold-out performances at Heaton Park in Manchester, Bonehead addressed some Oasis fans. However, not everyone praised the performance as a tribute to the legendary guitarist. Fans are howling as a result of Bonehead’s response.

Fans were left laughing at Bonehead’s one-word response when they shared a screenshot of the back-and-forth with Reddit. It’s getting better, man, according to Bonehead, real name Paul Arthurs. “

Same setlist as it is for every other night in a response to his post. Then Bonehead responded, “And … ? ? ? Fans have praised the post, which highlights the guitarist’s long-awaited lighter side, who this year accompanied Liam and Noel Gallagher for reunion shows.

Setlist is almost flawless, according to one fan. Why make it different? Another responded, “Agreed!” Columbia is the only thing that could improve it. “

People will get upset if they change the setlist, and rightfully so, according to a third user who posted: “If they change the setlist.” Everyone will agree that the setlist should remain the same throughout the tour. “

It would seem absurd to some devoted fans to suggest changing the setlist so soon in the tour. Oasis has consistently performed on the same set, bringing back some of their best-known hits.

Some have suggested the lack of setlist changes means it is fairer for people going to just one show on the tour. A user wrote: “Not many going to multiple nights around the world tour, who gives a f**k if the set list is the same.”

another was added; After 16 years, they are back together, and their peak was 1994-1998, when they made money. Many people may not have realized how big they were at the time. “

Fans of Oasis were never known to alter their setlist on previous tours, according to fans who shared Bonehead’s disregard for the need to change up the setlist.

One user claimed that Oasis never, ever, excelled at mixing up the set much or even playing numerous songs. Look at the Be Here Now tour (even though I recently learned that MBM only played MBM once on the first or second night and not again). “

Another stated that “in my opinion, the only thing that could change is the addition of a few songs to the Bring It On Down and Fade Away slots.” A collection of songs, including those by Columbia, Lyla, SCYHO, Go Let It Out, Hindu Times, and possibly Shock of the Lightning, might be available. “

A third person suggested that the setlist for Noel’s four songs could be slightly altered. Overall, it’s a great setlist, they wrote. It would be cool and fun to switch rotation for variation.

Today’s horoscope for July 27 as Leo senses a relationship is growing stale

Aries will experience some tension in the atmosphere on Sunday, July 27, according to today’s horoscope, and Pisces will begin a new sport.

Find out what’s written in the stars with our astrologer Russell Grant(Image: Daily Record/GettyImages)

One star sign needs a change of scenery, while another will strike a better balance between their personal and professional lives.

There are 12 zodiac signs – Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces – and the horoscopes for each can give you the lowdown on what your future holds, be it in work, your love life, your friends and family or more.

These daily forecasts have been compiled by astrologer Russell Grant, who has been reading star signs for over 50 years. From Aries through to Pisces, here’s what today could bring for your horoscope – and what you can do to be prepared.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)

With your partner and family, you only have a short amount of time. If the atmosphere is a little tense, it might indicate someone needs a change of scenery. This will be both challenging and exciting because you have the abilities to lead a new project.

Taurus (Apr 21 – May 21)

Someone sees you as being very attractive. A private retreat will give guests a fantastic opportunity to focus on each other’s needs. Use your guts to discern your partner’s needs and wants. You ought to be able to anticipate their demands quickly.

Gemini (May 22 – June 21)

Even if you like your job, having fun and entertaining people to unwind with can still be a good thing. You’ll feel revitalized after a break from work, and you’ll be more productive there. Your goal is to strike a better balance between your personal and professional life.

Cancer (June 22 – July 23)

Even if you’re single and looking for love, just dreaming about it won’t bring romance to you. Find fun things to do with your friends or register for an online dating service. Finding love might be as simple as attending a workshop, lecture, or seminar. Or spend more time with a charming neighbor who has shown an interest in you.

Leo (July 24 – Aug 23)

There are a number of actions you can take if you sense a relationship getting stale. You have the option of consciously avoiding this emotion in the hopes that you have it incorrect, or you can actively work to bring it back. Be your own best friend by engaging in joyful activities if you’re single and feeling lonely.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sept 23)

When your spouse or a loved one appears uninterested in your health issues, it hurts. You’ve heard unjust accusations, and you’re done. A well-intentioned in-law or senior family member will offer some unsolicited advice, regardless of whether you want to hear it.

Libra (Sept 24 – Oct 23)

The more intolerable a tense situation becomes the longer you allow it to drag on without getting better. You have the option to leave or to set an ultimatum. The only way to address this problem is through change, despite the courage required to do so. You’ll wonder why you’ve been waiting so long once you make that initial move.

Scorpio (Oct 24 – Nov 22)

You have a memory for someone you met recently. You ponder whether getting to know them was something you should have done more of. You’re considering reaching out, but you’re afraid to turn down a chance. Why not call or text someone? Soon, you’ll experience excitement instead of anxiety.

Sagittarius (Nov 23 – Dec 21)

A housemate or family member will forget a promise they made to you today. Their inaction is just as disappointing as their failure to follow through. You may be unsure whether you are putting your trust in the wrong people at times like this.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 20)

You must make a decision between focusing on your career and your family. It might be that you are shy to pursue a committed relationship if you are single and looking for a romance. Accept invitations to social gatherings and make an effort to get more involved.

Aquarius (Jan 21 – Feb 19)

You can always count on the support of your romantic or business partner to keep you moving in the right direction. You can rely on them to lift your spirits and keep you motivated when times are difficult. You offer them encouragement when they require it in exchange. You and your partner will both prosper in this relationship.

Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)

A new sport will provide a lot of enjoyment. Your mental and physical well-being are interconnected, and your mental capacity expands as you exercise. While you’re out and about, many of your best ideas will strike you.

Loose Women’s Ruth Langsford’s ‘go-to summer cocktail’ recipe step-by-step

The 65-year-old TV actress posted her favorite summer cocktail on Instagram.

There’s no finer time for a cocktail than summer. And now, Ruth Langsford has unveiled her go-to recipe that’s best enjoyed amidst sunny British weather.

While you might envision a Piña Colada or Mojito, the Loose Women star instead took viewers through a tutorial to make her favourite Limoncello Spritz. This involves just a handful of ingredients and takes minutes to make.

“Hello and welcome to Ruth’s happy hour,” she said in an Instagram video earlier this week. “Now, I know a lot of people’s go-to summer drink is an Aperol Spritz. Mine is a Limoncello Spritz.

I’ll just put one together and demonstrate my skills to you. Ruth first popped a few ice cubes into some cocktail glasses before adding some Limoncello, which is a must-have beverage.

The 65-year-old star stopped when the glass appeared just under half-full, even though she didn’t exactly measure how much was being poured. You can do accurate measurements, Ruth said, but you know.

“I just look at the eye.” Isn’t that a pretty bottle of Limoncello, good old slug? This is a really fresh lemony [drink] that I love Prosecco on its own. “

Ruth poured some Prosecco into each glass as she reached out to open it. She then added a little Soda from Schweppes to this, but only slightly.

She continued, “Okay, so we’re going to start with Prosecco.” Schweppes, then, because I believe it to be the nicest, fizziest. if I had the ability to reverse it. Avoid dilution altogether; not too much.

This is also my little hack, then. I freeze all of my lemon slices, freeze them, pack them in a little box, and then I finish them all. Then they become a lemon-ice cube. I perform a few of those; Ruth is the only one giving them.

“Fresh mint – and there you go. Limoncello Spritz. Cheers, everyone.” Ruth’s summer cocktail was quickly showered with countless comments on Instagram, with many fans eager to try the recipe for themselves.

One person wrote, “I love Limoncello Ruth, I must try this cheers.” Another person continued, “Definitely going to try, all supplies are purchased,” as another person continued, “That looks delicious. “

Ruth continued, “It’s light, refreshing, and really simple to make.” I don’t bother with precise measurements, but I do try to abide by the 3-2-1 rule: 3 parts Limoncello, 2 parts Prosecco, and 1 part soda water.
