Rumer, the eldest daughter of Bruce Willis, has openly acknowledged that her father was her inspiration as his dementia diagnosis continues to affect her.

Rumer Willis has publicly praised her dad, crediting him with giving her the inspiration to become an action star, like iconic Die Hard actor Bruce. The 70-year-old was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) in 2023, with the action hero now “non-verbal” and requiring 24-hour care.

His tragic diagnosis came just one year after he retired from acting after being given the aphasia language disorder diagnosis in March 2022. His family confirmed that his illness had advanced to FTD, which has a typical life expectancy of six to eight years but can last as little as two.

Bruce was married to actress Demi Moore, 62, between 1989 and 2000. They share three daughters, Rumer, 36, Scout, 33 and Tallulah, 31. The pair divorced, and Bruce remarried after meeting British model Emma Heming – they share two daughters, Mabel Ray, 12, and Evelyn Penn, 10.

Rumer, Bruce’s eldest child, has revealed that Rumer is stepping up to the action-themed footsteps of her father. Katherine Atherton, a disgruntled widow, is portrayed by her new film, Trail of Vengeance, who is devoted to retaliation for her husband’s murder.

The former EastEnders star and I’m A Celebrity winner is making the most of her unemployment by utilizing her newfound spare time to read and attend shows with her pals.

EastEnders star Charlie Brooks has been making the most of her “unemployment”, having spent Friday night at a gig in London. The former Janine Butcher actress saw Martha Wainwright on the UK leg of her tour, when she played at Union Chapel in Islington.

Charlie, 44, left the soap in 2012 but went on to set up her own acting training business, iampro, which offers mentoring and industry classes for creatives. She also took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2011 and was crowned queen of the jungle after winning I’m A Celebrity in 2012.

But aside from some smaller roles, she’s remained off the screen for some time, but she is lapping up her so-called “unemployment”. Writing on Instagram, she said: “Joys of unemployment. Getting to watch Martha Wainwright at Union Chapel with my gorgeous friend @shazzleydazzley for belated birthday celebrations.

One of the most memorable BGT moments ever occurred is Susan Boyle’s 2009 audition. Simon did, however, reveal that he had offered to make the singer a comeback.

He sprinted around the stage in celebration, even knocking over host Ant McPartlin, as he scooped up the £250,000 prize and a spot on the Royal Variety Show.
