Laila Rouass feeling ‘stronger and sexier’ after pain of Ronnie O’Sullivan split

After splitting from snooker legend Ronnie O’Sullivan, actress Laila Rouass has come out and said she feels “stronger and sexier.”

After a decade of dating, the footballer’s wives’ star and the sports ace recently ended their relationship. The EastEnders actress, 49, and the sports star, 53, first sparked rumours their on-off 13-year romance had ended for good back in September.

Laila took to Instagram to speak out for the first time since the break-up on Friday, sharing an AI-generated image of herself. In a heartfelt post, the 53 year old actress shared: “Break ups can strip you down to your essence”. She continued, “I got through mine by using pain as fuel to take control because no matter what, we will lose parts of ourselves in relationships. It’s normal, don’t beat yourself up”.

Emphasising her journey of self-discovery, she added, “One thing I’m conscious of not doing is trying to get back where I was. No, I’m discovering who I’ve become”. Laila also touched on the darker emotions, stating, “I’ve gone through various emotions… hurt, pain, anger but what I’ve realised about anger is that it’s bottomless”.

She warned of the dangers of anger, “It can go on and on and once you’re in that black hole… it’s very hard to drag yourself back out”. Offering words of encouragement to others facing heartbreak, she said, “Anyone going through a break up… You will emerge from the other side, I assure you.

She affirmed her own recovery, “I have and I feel so much better, stronger and sexier. Life occasionally throws in a plot twist, which is funny. Laila concluded with some life advice, “Just roll with the punches because life is so much richer, so much fuller when you drop the anger, the resentment and the regret” and reflected on her past relationship, “I’m looking back at my last relationship with a smile and a wave, because time moves on and I don’t like to play catchup”.

Laila and snooker legend Ronnie, despite parting ways, have kept things amicable and are still neighbours. A source revealed to MailOnline: “There’s no bad blood between them. They are still close friends and continue to live happily ever after. There’s no ugly fallout, that’s for sure”.

Ozzy Osbourne ‘in talks’ to perform final show with Black Sabbath despite health battle

Despite having trouble walking or standing on stage, Ozzy Osbourne is secretly working on farewell show plans.

The 76-year-old rocker wants to give his band Black Sabbath a final moving performance. News of Ozzy’s return comes amid the Brummie star’s ongoing issues with his leg, back and neck, which has left him unable to perform.

Despite working tirelessly for months to build up the strength to belt out his best hits like Iron Man, War Pigs, and Paranoid, he chose not to perform at his Rock ‘N’Roll Hall of Fame inauguration. However, Sabbath bandmate Geezer Butler claimed that his long-term partner is making an unlikely comeback against all odds.

“Ozzy was talking to me about, when he does his farewell concert, which he still wants to do, he’s dying to still get out there and play, and he suggested, at his very final concert, for the four of us to get up on stage and maybe do three or four songs together”, said Butler to LifeMinute in the US. “And that would be it, finished”.

Fans of Ozzy will enjoy the news because they have long feared the singer will never play again after avoiding the Rock ‘N’Roll show last month. After falling and recovering well enough for a tour, Ozzy called off his farewell tour. However, Paranoid was performed at the Commonwealth Games in 2022 by him and Tony Iommi. A farewell tour for 2017 ended with Sabath.

Ozzy stated that he would enjoy a farewell performance on stage in 2020. “If my life ended on a stage, so be it. That’s the place I belong”. The singer, who is also battling Parkinsons, confessed that he had to be taken to his dressing room at the inauguration in a wheelchair.

Despite suffering a 2019 fall and numerous surgeries and much physiotherapy, he can still walk just a couple of feet now. “I thought I’d be back on my feet months ago”, he admitted. Ozzy reportedly had a significant contract to write a second memoir about the previous 20 years earlier this month.

The book will provide insight into how his life has changed since the accident, how his relationship with Sharon has almost split up, how therapy has been handled, and more recent accomplishments. Will Ozzy discuss his ongoing battle with addictions and how he can now relax by occasionally consuming some marijuana.
Wife Sharon, 72, is said to have had a hand in brokering the deal.

New Look’s £20 silver bag looks just like £2.3k Bottega Veneta Jodie and it’s perfect for party season

If there’s one thing everyone needs to complete their Christmas party outfits it’s a great handbag, and a metallic bag is the perfect accessory to add a little sparkle to your look. Whilst metallics and silver are both big hits when it comes to the festive season, they’re also timeless enough to wear all year round too.

That’s why we would consider the Public Desire Silver Woven Top Handle Bag from New Look an absolute essential. Not only is it perfect for party season, but it also looks just like the iconic Bottega Veneta Jodie Mini Knotted Intrecciato Metallic Leather Tote – just without the designer price tag.

Whilst the Bottega Veneta Jodie bag will set you back £2330, the New Look bag is considerably more affordable. Originally priced at £26.99, it’s now on sale for £20.24 thanks to New Look’s 25% off sale.

Although Bottega’s Jodie bag is made from real leather which makes it more durable and hard-wearing, the New Look version is made from a faux leather-look material which helps keep its price tag down. However it does have a similar woven textured design and a top handle that’s finished with a knotted feature.

The New Look bag features an inside zip pocket that’s perfect for keeping things like your phone or money safe, and the whole bag also fastens with a zip top, so you know your belongings are secure when you’re out and about.

It’s also the perfect size for an evening bag, being roomy enough for essentials like your phone, wallet, keys and makeup without being too bulky or oversized. Although we’re loving the metallic silver for Christmas, you can also currently get the bag in a matte black colourway too, which is perfect if you want something more understated.

Fans of the bag have also been praising it, with one saying: “A stylish, small bag which is ideal for a night out, as you can put your essentials in. In spite of it not being leather, the quality is good which is enhanced by the woven design.”

With another adding: “Jodie dupe. Worth the purchase. I reckon the zip needs a little improvement. Apart from that it fits all my essentials: phone, gum, purse, cards, sunnies. Goes well with outfits since I got the black. The shape looks even better with contents stuffed in.”

However some disagreed, stating: “I was disappointed when this arrived. It was much smaller than expected. It won’t go on shoulders making it impractical.”

But there were still more who loved the bag, writing: “Amazing dupe! There is no way I was spending £2,600 on a bag.. that’s madness to me. Obviously it isn’t leather but I am ok with that. I just wish there was a Tan and Beige option too…. Public Desire – please can you make more in a selection of different colours, please!”

If more colour options are what you’re after, Anthropologie’s Melie Bianco Larissa Woven Faux-Leather Shoulder Bag is perfect for you. Although it’s slightly pricier than the New Look one at £88, the brand ensures it’s been ethically made in a cruelty-free, animal-friendly environment with fair-trade principles. It also comes in seven different colours, including silver, gold, red, tan and burgundy.

BBC star explains why weather presenters don’t use autocue – unlike newsreaders

A BBC weather presenter revealed that unlike newsreaders, weather forecasters don’t use autocue machines.

Sharing behind-the-scenes insights on her Instagram account, Molly Brewer explained she relies on memory and assistance from her friend to deliver her forecasts.

“I’ve had lots of people message me, surprised that weather presenters don’t read from an autocue so I thought I’d explain why,” she said in a video. Introducing her “best mate and director supreme,” Katie, Molly shared how her pal cues her in through an earpiece.

The BBC North West star then showed a clip of Katie in action, before the camera switched to herself at the start of one of her bulletins. “I’ll do the forecast unscripted using my graphics as a prompt,” she clarified.

She further explained this is due to the weather segment being at the end of the programme, which can be cut or extended last minute depending on the show’s timing. Molly also admitted she’s still getting used to having someone talk in her ear while she’s presenting.

“Katie will count me out like this,” Molly demonstrated over footage of her friend counting down from five while she was on air. If everything goes smoothly, they both stop talking at the exact moment the programme ends.

Molly disclosed her ongoing learning process with a candid note: “It’s a tricky thing to get used to and I’m still learning,” but also acknowledged the support she gets on set, adding: “But I feel very lucky to have the comfort of having my best mate as one of the directors.”

Her fans were quick to show appreciation for her behind-the-scenes insights, as comments poured in praising her multi-tasking skills and presenting prowess, with remarks including: “Interesting… I think I’d struggle so much with talkback though! No doubt you can rub your tummy and tap your head at the same time. Me? nope!”

Another commented: “So very interesting to see behind the scenes. Presenting at the same time as having someone talking in your ear must be tricky especially at first. Thanks for uploading this and well done again.”

A third Instagram user echoed the sentiment: “Wonderful to see it from your point of view. Gives an even greater understanding of your skill involved in multi- tasking and remaining calm and collected. You’re a naturally brilliant presenter.”

While a fourth declared: “Brilliant insight to behind the scenes. I’ve always been interested in things like this but have never seen anything like this before. Thanks Molly.”

Fearne Cotton announces shock split from husband Jesse Wood after 10 years of marriage

TV presenter Fearne Cotton has stunned her fans by announcing she has split from her husband, Jesse Wood.

The shock news of Fearne’s marriage split comes just days after the Happy Place podcast host had surgery to remove tumours. Fearne had the operation to remove two benign tumours from her jaw last week and has been recovering at home since.

Taking to Instagram Stories to tell followers of her split from Jesse, the presenter wrote on Friday night: “It is with a heavy heart that | let you all know that Jesse and I are ending our marriage. Our priority has been, and will always be, our children. We please ask that you respect the privacy of our family at this time.”

Fearne and Jesse Wood tied the knot in a cute ceremony surrounded by their family and friends in 2014. The star recently revealed that tensions were high during the lockdown. The pair welcomed two children together, Rex and Honey. Jesse also has two older children, Arthur and Lola, from a previous relationship.

The Podcast host and TV presenter had revealed earlier in the month that she had a benign tumour in her jaw. Sharing a video on Instagram, she said at the time: “I’ve got a benign tumour just in my jaw here, below my ear, another little tiny one above it. I’m very grateful they’re benign but they do need to come out because they’re on a nerve.”

She urged anyone who spots any abnormality to get checked out, as she added: “If you feel a lump or bump or feel like something is a bit off, always go get it checked. I’m so glad I did as the longer you leave these things the more complicated things become. It’s obviously so weird that only a couple of months ago Davina told me about her tumour and then weeks later I was calling her having discovered mine. I’m not only lucky she’s a bloody good mate but also a beacon of light and positivity when it comes to this stuff. Sending you all loads of love and I’ll see you soon.”

Fearne said her podcast, Happy Place, will “carry on as normal” despite the surgery requirement. And in an update following the surgery last week, she explained the surgery had been a success. She said: “Operation went really well. Recovering and resting. Thanks so much for all the kind messages.”

However, she confessed she was “wiped out”. The star told her followers she was recovering well from the operation and was continuing to take it easy. She uploaded an image of herself chilling in pyjamas on her sofa as she flashed a thumbs up to the camera. “Resting at home. Feel pretty wiped out but on the mend.

“Professor O’Flynn did the neatest job and was simply amazing at making me feel calm about the whole thing. Any good TV suggestions, get them in,” the star added as she revealed that was going to pass her recovery time by binging TV.”

Fearne had previously opened up on the demands of marriage. She met Jesse – who is the son of The Rollings Stones’ Ronnie Wood – in 2011 while she was enjoying a girls trip to Ibiza. At the time, the pair immediately became inseparable.

In a 2019 interview, Fearne admitted “marriage takes work”. After penning an article in Red Magazine, fans had become concerned at the rocky relationship. However, she told the Daily Telegraph at the time: “‘I wrote that article to go ‘what a load of s***’. Every marriage takes work . It doesn’t dilute our love or make our marriage any weaker, it actually makes it stronger because we’re willing to have those conversations.”

She admitted at the time: “I’m happy to share the good and bad bits of myself because, of course, I’m not living this perfect, fairytale life.” She also previously revealed how the lockdown period had tested their relationship. As with any family dynamic, they had to learn to adjust during the quarantine. However, she said the pair did have a number of some fiery arguments.

Speaking on her Happy Place podcast, Fearne said: “I am a very fiery person, and Jesse can also be quite fiery. We’ve certainly argued in front of the kids. Most parents have at some point. It’s not regular but we have definitely had a pop at each other in front of them — and you don’t feel good about it after.”

The couple announced they were expecting their first child together a year after meeting. They welcomed baby Rex in February 2013. After almost two years of dating, Jesse popped the question and the couple set their sights on getting married in July 2014. The London-based ceremony was attended by a number of famous guests, including Holly Willoughby and Keith Lemon. A year later, Fearne and Jesse welcomed daughter Honey.

Schoolgirl singer gone viral on TikTok battles huge stars for Christmas number 1

Mila Gorasia, hailed as Britain’s youngest singer-songwriter after the success of her debut track Make Me A Goddess , is back with a festive follow-up that’s already taking TikTok by storm.

The 11-year-old’s new Christmas song, Yes It’s Christmas , showcases her growing talent, with a jazz-infused melody and catchy lyrics that celebrate the magic of the holiday season.

The Daily Mirror broke the news of Mila’s first track in May this year, and now we’re asking – can YOU help get this British schoolgirl and her catchy festive tune into the charts this Christmas?

Mila says, “To write the song, I made a list of everything about Christmas—reindeer, elves, gumdrops, Santa, sleighs. I wrote the lyrics and created the melody by singing into my phone.”

The track, produced by Tash Courtenay-Smith, was released through TikTok’s SoundOn platform. In just one week, preview videos of the song featured on the Biz Kids channel have garnered over a million views, cementing Mila’s status as a rising star.

Yes It’s Christmas marks a significant step in Mila’s musical journey, following the massive success of her debut single Make Me A Goddess , which racked up nearly 5 million TikTok views and 100,000 streams across platforms.

The empowering anthem resonated with young audiences, inspiring girls to embrace their potential and “wear their goddess crown.”

“After Make Me A Goddess, everyone was asking what my next song would be, so I thought I would write a Christmas song,” says Mila.

At the Gorasia household, Christmas is a big deal, with festive tunes filling the air as soon as December arrives.

Mila’s mother, Andrea Gorasia, shares, “We start playing Christmas music as soon as December 1st hits—it’s a tradition we all love.” Inspired by her mother’s passion for the holiday, Mila wrote Yes It’s Christmas as a heartfelt gift. The song captures the joy and warmth of spending the holiday season with loved ones.

Mila explains, “I wanted Yes It’s Christmas to feel like a warm hug. It’s about all the little moments that make Christmas special, like decorating the tree, eating cookies, and just being with family. The chorus—‘Yes, it’s Christmas, and that’s where I’ll be with you’—is really about being together and cherishing those magical times.”

This festive, feel-good anthem is Mila’s way of sharing the magic of Christmas with her family and fans alike.

Mila resides in North London with her parents and continues to balance her blossoming music career with school life and hobbies such as swimming, football, and performing arts. Despite her success, Mila remains grounded, saying, “I’m just a typical London kid who loves music and snuggling with my dog Carter.”

Producer Tash Courtenay-Smith highlighted the significance of Mila’s achievements, saying, “Mila’s creativity and hard work are incredible, and I don’t know any other 11 year old who can write the lyrics and melodies Mila does. She also has an incredible singing voice. Yes It’s Christmas is not only a testament to her talent but also a celebration of the spirit of the holidays.”

Thanks to the success of Make Me A Goddess , Tash was able to call in Belinda Carlisle’s musical director, James Nisbit, to lend his expertise and ensure the final version of Yes It’s Christmas was as polished and vibrant as possible.

James Nisbet’s career began at the age of seventeen with a professional recording session at Abbey Road Studios. Since then, he has collaborated with a diverse array of renowned artists, including Bryan Ferry, Rod Stewart, Joss Stone, Belinda Carlisle, and Lily Allen

The music video for the track was shot by highly experienced documentary filmmaker William Davies. Known for his work on Unreported World for Channel 4, Netflix’s Inside the World’s Toughest Prisons , and Channel 4’s Dispatches , Davies has captured stories from remote corners of the globe. His expertise in creating visually compelling narratives added a cinematic quality to Mila’s festive music video, capturing the joy and magic of the Christmas season.

This collaboration of seasoned professionals underscores the growing recognition of Mila’s talent and the impact of her musical journey.

Released on Tiktok via Biz Kids, a platform teaching entrepreneurship and financial literacy to children, Mila’s music is part of a broader mission to empower and inspire Gen Z and Gen A globally. With a reach of over 20 million young people annually, Biz Kids continues to provide a stage for young talent to shine.
