Rumer, the eldest daughter of Bruce Willis, has openly acknowledged that her father was her inspiration as his dementia diagnosis continues to affect her.

Rumer Willis has publicly praised her dad, crediting him with giving her the inspiration to become an action star, like iconic Die Hard actor Bruce. The 70-year-old was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) in 2023, with the action hero now “non-verbal” and requiring 24-hour care.
His tragic diagnosis came just one year after he retired from acting after being given the aphasia language disorder diagnosis in March 2022. His family confirmed that his illness had advanced to FTD, which has a typical life expectancy of six to eight years but can last as little as two.
Bruce was married to actress Demi Moore, 62, between 1989 and 2000. They share three daughters, Rumer, 36, Scout, 33 and Tallulah, 31. The pair divorced, and Bruce remarried after meeting British model Emma Heming – they share two daughters, Mabel Ray, 12, and Evelyn Penn, 10.
Rumer, Bruce’s eldest child, has revealed that Rumer is stepping up to the action-themed footsteps of her father. Katherine Atherton, a disgruntled widow, is portrayed by her new film, Trail of Vengeance, who is devoted to retaliation for her husband’s murder.

In a recent interview with People magazine, she said: “My dad is such an action man,” adding: “My mom’s done her fair share [of action] as well.” Rumer’s mum Demi starred in Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle and GI Jane – in which she played the titular character.
Rumer continued, “When I learned that I had this role, I felt like a little kid.” The movie has already been released in theaters.
When she has spare time, mother-of-one Rumer ensures that her two-year-old daughter Louetta, who is only two, can spend as much time with her father as possible. According to a source, “Rumer wants to make sure Louetta knows Bruce.”
She wants Louetta to actively participate in her life. It shares a very special ring. The sisters of Ruler and his is so dedicated to him. They are aware that he might pass away at any time.

In spite of their divorce, Bruce and his ex-wife Demi has also taken proactive measures to ensure that their daughters are cared for. The Substance star previously told Variety that “we will always be a family, just in a different form.”
She continued, “I’ve already shared this, but I really mean this. … It’s so important for anyone who is dealing with this to really meet them where they are.” And there is such loving and joy there. “
Demi told Town &, Country magazine that getting a diagnosis was crucial in order for me to understand what fronto-temporal dementia is and educate our children. Never have I attempted to sugarcoat anything for them.

She stated on CBS Sunday Morning in September that the key is to simply meet him where he is and how he was rather than be fixed to who or what he was. Being in the moment, meeting him where he is, and finding the joy and love of just what is happening where he is only makes you feel better, once more, because of course.

Charlie joked that she loved being unemployed(Image: BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron)
EastEnders star Charlie Brooks has been making the most of her “unemployment”, having spent Friday night at a gig in London. The former Janine Butcher actress saw Martha Wainwright on the UK leg of her tour, when she played at Union Chapel in Islington.
Charlie, 44, left the soap in 2012 but went on to set up her own acting training business, iampro, which offers mentoring and industry classes for creatives. She also took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2011 and was crowned queen of the jungle after winning I’m A Celebrity in 2012.
But aside from some smaller roles, she’s remained off the screen for some time, but she is lapping up her so-called “unemployment”. Writing on Instagram, she said: “Joys of unemployment. Getting to watch Martha Wainwright at Union Chapel with my gorgeous friend @shazzleydazzley for belated birthday celebrations.
Having time to read her book. She was everything and more. x, I appreciate it. The singer-songwriter’s book, Stories I Might Regret Telling You, was among the photos and videos shared by the audience.

Charlie made her first appearance in Albert Square in 1999, and she did so until 2004 before taking the roles in Robin Hood and Beverley Allitt: Angel of Death, where she played a murder nurse. From 2008 to 2012, she worked in the Square.
The mum-of-one returned to the soap in 2022, before competing in Dancing on Ice, alongside Olympic skater Eric Radford. Back in January, she addressed whether a return to Walford was on the cards.
She said, “I’m going right back to Chitty Chitty Bang for a while, and then I’ll probably need a little time off.” I’m not sure about that until we start talking about another theater project.
I’m wasting my time, I promise. Who knows, then? In Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’s UK tour, Charlie starred opposite Coyote Ugly’s Adam Garcia last year.

Kiki Truman Brooks, 20, is Charlie’s daughter with her ex-boyfriend Tony Truman, who she split up with in 2006. However, despite their breakup, Charlie and Charlie are still a good couple. He lives in the Surrey apartment above Charlie’s house.
She and architect Ben Hollington dated for about five years before splitting in 2017. Tonya sobbed when they called it a day because he was so fond of her new boyfriend. She has a more recent relationship with advertising director James Fuller.
Speaking on Yahoo UK’s White Wine Question Time podcast, she said: “My ex partner Ben, who I was with for five or six years, who’s an amazing human being, you know, we woke up on Christmas Day together, all of us. Tony would come down, we’d all get into bed and open the presents together with Kiki, cos she adores Ben, and I think it can be problematic.
I believe he probably has more issues with that sort of things than I do. This is the longest I’ve ever been single, at four years. Then, for five or six years, I spent time with Ben, who was just really accepting. We all took vacations together, and Tony adored him without a doubt. When Ben and I broke up, Tony cried. He sobbed in fact.
When her husband, TV doctor Michael Mosley, went for a walk on a Greek island last summer, tragically passed away in the island heat, leaving Carolyn Mosley widowed.

Dr. Michael Mosley’s widow has opened up about her heartbreaking husband’s passing. Michael, a 67-year-old author, broadcaster, and TV presenter, vanished while on Symi, Greece last summer, leaving Claire Bailey Mosley devastated.
After four days of searching, he tragically disappeared with Clare and his four children on June 9 and was discovered dead. His death was “most likely attributable either to heat stroke (accidental) or non-identified pathological cause,” according to an inquest from December.
Clare has contemplated the fateful day her husband went for a walk, but he never came back. She claimed that while their friends stayed by a pool to sunbathe, he wanted to go for a walk.
Clare became concerned when her husband decided not to come back for a while and was aware that his planned journey would have taken a full hour. Emergency services couldn’t go missing until after 48 hours, despite her desire to raise the alarm.
The retired GP recalls how she managed to get in touch with the local police, who eventually agreed to send a search party. With her anxiety waning as the hours of daylight waned, Claire also assisted in the search.
Clare was left heartbroken when her husband died while they were on holiday(Image: FILE)
She claimed for the Daily Mail that she had spent some time walking along the coast, through trees, and heard gorse calling his name. Have you seen him? was a question I had whenever I first met someone.
Then the sun began to set. Something went horribly wrong, she said, adding that she was sobbing as the panic persisted.
Clare continued, stating that she attempted to keep hope afloat by ironically believing that he had been abducted and that that would have left him alive. His body was ultimately discovered after four days of searching.
Clare recalled saying, “We all slumped after that.” Nothing in the world made me think. I was unable to unsee the photo of Michael standing on a stretcher with an out arm. It was so heartbreaking and moving.
After a day’s searching, the children looked so purposeful and wholesome in a row, all dirty and dishevelled, and looked exhausted. That made me feel better.
Clare said, “It was just an ordinary exchange of words as he went for his walk,” in the wake of their final kiss. Very unoriginal. There wasn’t even a kiss, in my opinion.
Clare called her husband “a maverick, a bit of a risk-taker.” She remarked about Michael, “He pushed boundaries.” For that, I adored him, making him so unique. He was brilliant but unconventional.
Dr. Jack Mosley expressed his sadness over the passing of his father earlier this year, expressing pride in his late parents’ accomplishments, and describing one of his upheavals as “bittersweet.” Jack spoke to The Times about his father’s influence on his career, including weight loss, while promoting his own new book, Food Noise: How Weight Loss Medications &, Smart Nutrition Can Silence Your Cravings, the day before Michael’s death.
Jack revealed in the interview that he hadn’t been able to listen to Michael’s BBC Radio 4 series Just One Thing until recently. The project, which was televised last year, involved Michael sharing “simple tips” to “change your life”.
According to Jack, “It’s only been in the past few weeks that I’ve been able to listen to his Just One Thing series,” which is obviously bittersweet. He added that Michael, who hosted shows like Trust Me and I’m a Doctor, is “something to be proud of” because “he is still there” on radio, podcasts, and TV, is “something to be proud of.” He claimed that his late father “admitted to helping a lot of people lead better lives.”
In the interview, Jack, who is training to become a GP, added more praise for Michael. He claimed that the broadcaster had been “a maverick” and “master self-experimenter” throughout his career. He wrote several books, including ones about diets.
At the British Soap Awards, Coronation Street actress Tina O’Brien and Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter made an awkward error. The actresses walked the red carpet during tonight’s annual event with their co-stars.
Celebrities from the soap industry have come together to honor actors and actresses who have been a part of some of the most significant storylines this year. Best on-screen partnership, Best Newcomer, Best Storyline, Best Young Actor, Scene of the Year, Outstanding Achievement Award, and Tony Warren Award are among the categories this year.
However, Jorgie and Tina made an awkward mistake by rocking up to the red carpet and wearing the exact same outfit. In a sheer gold dress, Joan, 37, appeared stunning as she entered the room.
The striking gold dress (PA) made Tina look stunning.
The actress’s gym-honed physique was clearly visible in the gown, which left little to the imagination. She chose to wear only minimal jewelry, including a silver watch and a silver diamonté bracelet, to complete her look. In a sleeked-back manner, Joangie kept her distinctive blonde hair out of her face.
Tina, 41, who is best known for playing Sarah Platt on Corrie, also looked equally glamorous at the glittering gala. The actress had a gorgeous tan for the occasion, which made her look more attractive.
Just after Tina had appeared on the red carpet (PA), Jorgie made her way to the ceremony.
Tina only wore a small pair of earrings, much like Jorgie, and kept her accessories to a minimum. Her shoulders protruded freely down her hair, resting on her chest, and her hair was styled in voluminous waves. Having the two arrive at the same time and make the discovery, which prevented a very awkward encounter, the pair only appeared on the red carpet ten minutes apart.
The Platts, Tina’s on-screen family, will face off in the Best Family category, competing with The Slaters, The Osbornes, Hollyoaks, and The Dingles from Emmerdale, who are both set to compete for the title.
Scarlett Thomas, Tina and her Waterloo Road star daughter (Mike Marsland/WireImage), also present.
Fans took to social media to express their shock at the awkward situation, captioning “Not Tina O’Brien and Jorgie Porter wearing the same dress.”
However, many fans are upset that the awards ceremony isn’t broadcast live on television while they wait to find out who will be chosen as the winners. It will be broadcast on Thursday night instead.
One fan blasted the broadcast delay, calling it “ridiculous” that the British Soap Awards aren’t live because there is more excitement surrounding the soap stars’ arrival outside for something that won’t even air on television for another week. “Sorry, I’m not going to fix this, please @itv,” one fan said.
Second fumed, “Sap Awards getting spoiled because ITV thinks people would rather watch BGT instead.” A third person added, “Who at ITV thought that was a good idea because the soap awards weren’t being aired live is such a letdown? #BritishSoapAwards, there is no point in watching it right now.

We’ve taken a trip back in time and revisited some of the show’s most shocking moments as we watch the 2025 BGT final…
Final withdrawal
Susan Boyle stunned the audience with her vocal talent in 2009(Image: Ken McKay)
One of the most memorable BGT moments ever occurred is Susan Boyle’s 2009 audition. Simon did, however, reveal that he had offered to make the singer a comeback.
After capturing the nation’s hearts with her rendition of Les Misérables ‘ classic, ‘ I Dreamed a Dream, ‘ Susan attracted massive media attention, leading music mogul Simon to have a candid chat with the singer.
Simon explained to Simon on Lorraine, “We sat down with her and her friends the week before the final. We advised people to “Look, if it’s too stressful, because it’s all over the media.”
” She said it was fine, she’s going to do it. And I’m anticipating that she will prevail. And I’ll never forget [when they said [Diversity is the winner.
“I was on that stage under 20 seconds saying into her]ear], ‘ We’ve got an album deal. from that moment on in literary terms.
Simon assured her that she was “part of the family” now that she had made an album and that it was up to her from that point forward.
Tearful breakdown
Hollie Steel broke down in tears on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009 (Image: ITV )
It was heartbreaking to watch the ten-year-old Hollie Steel completely vanish when she first appeared on the 2009 episode because she had forgotten the lyrics to her song. Visibly trembling and crying, Hollie ran off the stage to her mother, leaving viewers questioning whether the pressure of the show was simply too much for someone so young.
Hollie was moved to tears as producers initially declined her request for a second performance, but she eventually pleaded for another chance. At the conclusion of the show, she was eventually permitted to give her performance another chance, but the audience was still furious and made up accusations that she was being abused.
‘Fixing’
Kojo Anim was in the final of BGT in 2019(Image: Dymond/Thames/Syco/REX)
Irate viewers who claimed the show was “setting up” singer Jessica Hobson in 2011 were against BGT.
After Simon and David Hasselhoff harshly criticized Jessica’s rendition of Beyonce’s Single Ladies, she was reduced to tears. Simon dismissed the piano performance as “dated” and scoffed at her “silly dress”.
When asked about her song, she admitted: “I didn’t choose what I wanted to sing.. It turns out to be someone. “. but before she could finish, her microphone was abruptly cut off, leading her to break down in tears.
Viewers speculated as to whether the young singer had been purposefully harmed by the producers’ choice of songs. Contestants have been headhunted, which raises questions about the show’s fixes, and there have even been reports of unintentional auditions.
After Kojo Anim secured his spot in the 2019 final, some pointed fingers at judge Alesha Dixon for favouritism, given their friendship. After it was revealed that Aleksha had performed with her former band, Mis-Teeq, Aleksha had to defend her Golden Buzzer choice for Lifford Shillingford, which added to the rumor of insider trading.
Sad defeat
Ashleigh and Pudsey won BGT together in 2012(Image: ITV)
The dog and owner duo Ashleigh and Pudsey won the show’s sixth season in 2012, becoming the first canine act to do so. The pooch even appeared in his own movie Pudsey: The Movie, telling the nation’s hearts.
Sadly, Pudsey passed away in July 2017, and while Ashleigh now performs with another dog named Sully, she stated he would “never become Pudsey”.
Famous smooch
Simon kissed Amanda Holden’s bottom in a moment we cannot unsee(Image: PA)
The unforgettable moment in 2013 when Simon audaciously kissed fellow judge Amanda’s bottom is forever imprinted in our memories.
Amanda couldn’t resist shaking her hips during a performance by 71-year-old Kelly Fox, who performed the song “Kiss My Ass, Baby” by The All Purpose Blues Band, which reportedly caused Simon to kiss her posterior.
I kissed your ass, Simon jokingly asked Amanda after the kiss. Did you like that”? which she responded with “It was a first,” expressing her gratitude and amusement.
Raunchy behaviors
During her audition in 2013, Keri Graham stripped to a scant outfit and presented Simon with an erotic lap dance, sparking complaints. One angry parent tweeted, “Nice family viewing as your child asks “Mummy, why has that lady got hardly any clothes on, and what is she doing with those men? ” after the performance.
The dance, which was deemed too racy in 2012, was performed by burlesque artist Beatrix Von Bourbon, which received more negative feedback. Over 70 viewers lodged complaints to Ofcom, disapproving of its suitability for a family audience.
Stunt a double dog
Jules O’Dwyer and Matisse were hit with backlash when it transpired that there had been a doppelganger for the dog during their performance(Image: ITV)
In 2015, Jules O’Dwyer graced the stage with her dog Matisse and triumphantly won the show. However, when viewers learned that a stunt double dog was used for a tightrope trick rather than Matisse, it sparked a frightful outcry.
Jules explained that the real Matisse was scared of heights, which necessitated the use of a stand-in. But viewers were not convinced, as the dogs were identical and the act had been promoted as just Jules and Matisse.
Ofcom was inundated with over 200 complaints following the controversial incident, which even led to death threats being sent to the pair. It was ruled that ITV had misled the public, though Jules was not stripped of her £250,00 prize money.
Risqué gown
Amanda Holden sparked Ofcom complaints with her daring gown(Image: Dymond/Thames/Syco/REX)
Amanda Holden chose a racy, transparent gown, which left the audience enthralled during BGT’s grand finale in 2019. The judge turned heads as she dazzled the crowd in her revealing ensemble decorated with floral patterns.
Her bold fashion choice came after Ofcom received complaints the previous week about her provocative wardrobe choices. Twitter, now X, was set ablaze with comments regarding Amanda’s attire for the night.
One viewer wrote: “Amanda loves to show a bit of t** don’t she #BGT”. Another remarked, “Glad you’ve ignored the obstinate critics”!
Winner boos
Viggo Venn divided fans with his hi-vis dancing (Image: Dymond/Thames/REX/Shutterstock)
Comedian Viggo Venn was left stunned when he was announced as the winner in 2023, following his act of jumping around the stage in a giant balloon and dancing in his iconic hi-vis jackets. He sprinted around the stage in celebration, even knocking over host Ant McPartlin, as he scooped up the £250,000 prize and a spot on the Royal Variety Show.
However, the audience’s reaction was marred by boos, prompting viewers to share their thoughts on X, formerly Twitter. Very surprised, one user declared. However, Viggo was very funny. Very distasteful for anyone to boo Viggo. People voted for him, not anyone else, so it’s not his fault that he won. Resulted in a sour conclusion as a result of the audience’s support. Well done, Viggo!! “! “
When #ViggoVenn was announced as the winner of #BritainsGotTalent, there were a lot of boos, according to another user. I thought he was great, but a shock omission from the final 3, and I think everyone thought the young lad would win. The series’ ending is somewhat deflated and downbeat, #BGT2023 #BGT.
One disgruntled viewer remarked: “Did you hear them boo’s on @BGT? Absolutely correct, and ridiculous. There will be so many more talent tonight in the final. #BGT2023 should not have made the live shows. a poor winner.
