Katie Price seen behind the wheel three years after car crash and driving ban

After being disqualified from driving in December 2021, Katie Price was discovered driving.

After she crashed her BMW near her Horsham home on September 28, 2021, the former glamour model was given a two-year driving ban. The 46-year-old was also handed a 16-week suspended jail sentence for drink-driving. In March of this year, Price was found guilty of driving in Northampton Magistrates’ Court without insurance or a valid driver’s license despite being denied access to the roads.

She avoided jail, however, and was slapped with a £880 fine. She made it known on social media last month that she was awaiting the delivery of her driver’s license so she could get back in the car. She appeared calm and assured as she stepped out of her red car in recent pictures.

Katie rocked grey skinny jeans, black cowboy boots, and an oversized grey turtleneck sweater. The actress had straight, black hair flowing down her shoulders while wearing pink lipstick and simple makeup.

Katie was seen running errands close to her home in photos shared with The Sun. The TV star and her boyfriend, JJ Slater, took a trip to Cyprus after taking a vacation there. However, Katie reportedly slipped on a rock and injured her ankle, leading to a change in their sunshine break.

Katie was spotted looking hopeless as JJ diligently pushed her in a wheelchair rather than soaking up the sun by the pool. The former glamour model’s ankle was bandaged, which is not exactly the kind of beachside accessory she had chosen. She was still wearing a lime green bikini.

Unfortunately, Katie has had a bad luck with agonizing holiday accidents, and she has previously said she will never be the same after a horrifying incident in 2020. Meanwhile, Katie opened up about returning to driving in a TikTok live last month.

The mum-of-five, who has since completed her community service and finished her awareness course, said: “Driving licence? Yes! Right now, I’m anticipating it any day. They wrote back to me finally”. Price then broke into song, belting out CeCe Peniston’s 1991 hit, Finally, reports The Sun. At the court hearing in March, it was heard that Price’s driving license was “expired” after a “medical stop” was placed on it in April last year.

Lorraine Kelly addresses retirement rumours ahead of milestone 65th birthday

Lorraine Kelly, a TV star, has admitted to not wanting to retire despite her impressive 40 years in the limelight.

The TV star has a remarkably successful streak, recently releasing a new book, enjoying the joys of raising Billie as a grandmother, and receiving a prestigious BAFTA award for her significant impact on the broadcasting industry.

As her 65th birthday looms at the end of November, some folk might reckon it’s time for Lorraine to slow down, but she’s having none of it. in a personal conversation with Hello! magazine, Lorraine confessed: “I’ve always said if the day comes when I think I don’t really want to go to work, I will stop”.

Yet, she’s nowhere close to calling it quits. “I’ve never felt that and I don’t think I ever will, because every day is different”. With the birth of her grandson Billie, Lorraine cherished every moment of 2023.

The retirement rumors have been addressed by Lorraine Kelly (ITV).

Since 2010, Lorraine’s been waking us up with a smile on Lorraine, her namesake ITV show, after years of brightening mornings on GMTV. Thanks to the heartfelt documentary “Lorraine Kelly: 40 Unforgettable Years,” which allowed viewers to see behind the scenes of her distinguished career and personal life, she received loving ovations this month.

Lorraine Stanley of EastEnders has been praised by TV stars including Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid and her former coworker Piers Morgan. Piers perfectly summed up her character: “Lorraine is an iron first in a velvet glove. She creates a persona that people think is very benign, very nice, very smiley but underneath it is a proper journalist”.

In a special program dedicated to her, Susanna Reid praised Lorraine as “a trailblazer for women,” and Alison Hammond of This Morning added, “She undoubtedly has opened the door for other presenters and the likes of me who have different accents.”

Lorraine described obstacles she’s overcome when asked how advice about her Glaswegian heritage would prevent her from appearing on television.

However, in retrospect, she says, “It was actually the best thing that could have happened: that comment spurred me to call the boss of the relatively new breakfast TV station, TV-am, who asked me to come down for an interview, and then hired me as a Scottish correspondent (Bruce Gyngell was Australian so didn’t have the same class prejudices reporter)”! )”.

Lorraine emphasized the need for change and how today’s high living costs make it virtually impossible for working-class youths from all over the UK to find employment in London. She also supports expanding opportunities for people outside the capital.

“We have emphasized the value of diversity in recent years, and that includes young working-class people who are able to relate to and understand the majority of our viewers,” we rephrased. Making sure they have the opportunity to have their voices heard is in everyone’s best interests.

Marilyn Monroe’s possessions on nightstand next to where she died included pills and scarf

The outfits, the heartbreak, even the eyelashes… all the ingredients that turned Norma Jeane Mortenson into Marilyn Monroe are going on display in a unique exhibition. A detailed examination of a Hollywood icon’s life and death is provided by Marilyn – The Exhibition, which continues to captivate viewers worldwide.

“I don’t really know what the recipe is to create an icon, but Marilyn Monroe has become that,” says director Elizabeth Kovaros. We continue to tell her story over and over again. I don’t think it’ll stop for generations to come. “

The collection explores every aspect of Marilyn’s life, from her troubled Los Angeles upbringing to her three marriages to her fatal overdose in 1962 at the age of 36. As her mother battled mental health issues, Norma Jeane, a brown-haired girl, was raised in 12 different foster homes.

Visitors to the collection can view Marilyn Monroe’s original press photos as well as a love note from her third husband, playwright Arthur Miller (PR HANDOUT).

Elizabeth asserts that “there are early sketches and drawings from Norma Jeane, letters and postcards and correspondence back and forth with her foster sister, and all kinds of childhood records that allow us to see that picture of her life and what a challenging childhood she had. “It really was traumatic what she went through”.

Marilyn’s birth certificate, her will, and even the items discovered on the side of her LA home when she passed away, including some face cream, a black scarf, and her will. With original film scripts and then things like the keys to her dressing room, Elizabeth goes on to say, “You can see the full journey of her life with a lot of information about her career.” “All sorts of things that reveal the entire story behind what transpired.”

German collector Ted Stampfer, who has been collecting Marilyn memorabilia since he was a teenager, owns the 250 items on display. When Marilyn died, she left everything to Lee Strasberg, who ran the Actors Studio in New York with his wife, Anna. Elizabeth says: “They took all of her wardrobe, her kitchen utensils, everything in that house and put it into a storage unit.

In her will, Marilyn left everything to Lee Strasberg, who ran the Actors Studio in New York with his wife, Anna. Up until 1999, the couple put everything the couple had in storage, including her clothes.

Lee passed away before his wife could use the archive, which was then stored in a similar manner until 1999, when it was put in storage from 1962 until it was no longer available.

After being locked up for almost 40 years, Anna opened the storage unit and began moving it to major auction houses around the world. In 1999 and thereafter, massive auctions took place.

One of the highlights of the exhibition is a love note from Marilyn’s third husband, the playwright Arthur Miller, to whom she was married from 1956 to the year before she died. Marilyn, who was then renowned for movies like Monkey Business, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, and The Seven Year Itch, continued to work even though Arthur had desired a housewife.

After she filmed The Misfits, which Arthur had written for her, the pair split, and their divorce was crucial to her descent into drug and alcohol abuse. But Arthur’s love note, on torn paper, is filled with hope. It reads: “I am sitting here, dearest, and my heart is bursting with love”.

Aside from personal mementos, the exhibition captures the life of the Hollywood pin-up. She has many of her well-known frocks and opulent loungewear, as well as her beauty items, which depict the development of a global celebrity.

You can see how she could sort of put together that look, Elizabeth says, “she has some of her hair still stuck in them, and there are things like her hair rollers with some of her hair still stuck in them.” She transitions from her teen years at one point in the exhibition and undergoes a significant makeover to create this new persona.

A photo of a brunette Marilyn before she dyed her hair blonde
Marilyn’s early life details reveal that she had a difficult upbringing in various foster homes.

But why, 62 years after she died, is the world still queuing up to have a peek into Marilyn Monroe’s world? According to Elizabeth, “Some people are elevated by society to a sort of icon level.” They are “going through fame and celebrity,” according to the statement “they are being put back on a pedestal by the public.”

” That whole process, combined with an early tragic death, surrounded by conspiracy. You add all the influence and fashion to what she had when the movie industry was at its height.

Marilyn’s enduring fame might not have surprised her. She once said, “I knew I belonged to the public and the world, not because I was beautiful or talented, but because I had never belonged to either anyone or anything else.” As her story continues to captivate, one iconic object at a time, she will undoubtedly once more have the audience mesmerized.

On Friday, October 18, MARILYN – The Exhibition will open at Arches London Bridge. For tickets, visit marilynlondonbridge. co. uk

Love Islander takes huge swipe at Molly-Mae’s fashion brand Maebe after complaints

Following some fan complaints, a former Love Islander has criticized Maebe’s new clothing line.

At the end of September, Molly-Mae released her highly anticipated fashion brand, and the line had already sold out in a flash. Her career rocketed after her time on Love Island.

The influencer revealed to her fans before the launch that her main concern is quality and creative designs, revealing that it had been two years in the making. Molly added that she wanted to “bridge the gap” between high-end clothing and fast-paced fashion.

Many fans have praised the coveted collection since its launch, but others feel underwhelmed by the fabrics the entrepreneur chose, including model and former Love Islander, Dr. Brett Staniland, a campaigner for sustainable fashion.

The season seven star didn’t hold back with his opinion on Maebe, stating that in his view, it “doesn’t pass the quality check”. He criticised Molly’s decision to work with fast-fashion brand PrettyLittleThing before starting her own venture, arguing that her new brand is also fast-fashion and not sustainable.

Brett, who was a contestant in the famous villa back in 2021, claims the brand’s website initially showed “zero information” on the fabric composition of each item. He thinks this indicates that customers weren’t aware of “what they were spending their money on.”

The model, alonside other eagle-eyed fans, spotted that Maebe’s website initially offered limited descriptions of each piece, with one garment being described as having “just a touch of wool”. Later, more in-depth details about the compositions of the fabrics are expected to be added to the website.

He continued, saying that Maebe’s pricing would be fair “if you were buying ethically made clothing of natural fibers,” but that Maebe doesn’t provide that. He then shared a photo of one of the tops from the Maebe website priced at £50 and said: “This contour top is 86% polyester and 14% Spandex, and known as 100% plastic”.

He then shared a photo of a blazer from the site for £140 and said it’s “over 80% plastic” as the website states it is made from 63% polyester, 19% viscose and 18% acrylic. Finally, he shared an image of a knitted cardigan, which he said was “95% plastic” as the website stated it was 41% acrylic, 30% polyester, 24% polyamide and 5% wool and cost £65. “These are all very low-quality materials”, Brett claimed, adding that they are “synonymous with fast fashion”.

In the video caption, Brett said Molly Mae needs to “do more” to “bridge the gap above fast fashion and below luxury”.

How many of these people will become repeat customers, though, as I believe this person is at the point where she could essentially sell out anything, according to her social media skills? You only get one go at making a first impression”, he added, and further said: “Drops notoriously create demand, and force people to consume at incessant rates because their chance might be gone soon, leading to impulse buying, and in a way, is a dark pattern of consumerism.

” Safe to say this brand doesn’t pass the quality check and there’s plenty of brands at this price point that make far better stuff, that is high quality, durable and recyclable, which none of this is by the way. “

As one fan said, “I think anyone willing to spend money on a product probably won’t care whether it’s made of polyester or not,” while another added, “So plastic clothes rebranded as Luxury.

A section titled “Transparency” on the Maebe website lists its manufacturers and suppliers. They claim to have been “seen with care” and have factories in China and Turkey. Turkey is renowned for its expertise in cotton-based jersey fabrics, especially organic textiles, which is why we produce most of our jersey garments there. With shorter lead times, we can deliver your clothing more quickly without sacrificing the conditions or wages of the workers. “

As for China, the website said:” China is renowned for its expertise in woven garments, thanks to its access to high-quality speciality fabrics and highly skilled workers. Our view on ‘ premium, ‘ means we invest more to ensure superior fabric quality, exceptional craftsmanship, and strict adherence to our ethical standards. “

The Mirror contacted Molly Mae’s team who declined to comment.

Jay Blades’ electronic tag removed as BBC star pleads not guilty to coercive behaviour charge

Jay Blades, the host of The Repair Shop, entered a not-guilty plea after pleading not guilty to the charge of coercive or controlling behavior toward his estranged wife.

He made an appearance at Worcester Crown Court this afternoon to confirm his identity and enter a plea. Last month, police in an intimate or family relationship charged Blades with engaging in controlling or coercive behavior. Blades rose to fame with the popular BBC series.

The charge relates to his wife Lisa Zbozen, a fitness instructor, according to court documents. During his court appearance, a short-form copy of the indictment facing Blades was read to him before he pleaded not guilty. The 12-minute hearing did not hear a more in-depth explanation of the charge he faces.

Judge James Burbidge KC informed Blades, “You are aware of the allegations against you because you have a particularized indictment. During the prosecution opening, the jury will hear it, and the allegations will be heard by the public before those details will be read out. Blades left the court without comment.

Blades showed up in court today (Emma Trimble/SWNS).
Jay Blades
He entered a not-guilty plea (PA).

According to the charge brought against Blades, Blades’ behavior “serious effect” on his partner “was that it caused her to fear that violence would be used against her on at least twice.” A request for a portion of the proceedings to be heard in private was rejected by Judge James Burbidge KC.

The judge ended the case by appointing a trial date of May 6th, following a possible trial date of that month. Blades should now be subject to an electronic tag, which the company responsible has not yet installed due to “failings.” You have denied guilt for the crime that you are accused of, and the prosecution is preparing to try you, the judge told Blades. You are still in the exclusion zone despite the removal of the tagging.

In an Instagram post on May 2, Ms. Zbozen declared that their relationship was over. Less than two years after their exotic Barbados wedding ceremony in November 2022, the couple split. Blades, 54, was bailed until his next court appearance on September 13 when he made an appearance in Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court in relation to the same charge.

When Blades first hosted The Repair Shop for BBC Two in 2017, he quickly gained notoriety. The father-of-three served as the lead presenter for a special BBC series starring the newly crowned King Charles in October 2022.
