In Marching Powder, actor Danny plays a hooligan, but in reality he is obsessed with his growing family.

Danny Dyer, a TV hardman, expressed his joy over his “beautiful” grandchildren and hopes for a great grandfather in a soft way in real life.

Danny, 47, is known for being a no nonsense character in many TV show and films including The Football Factory and new film Marching Powder where he plays Jack an ageing, Class A drug loving hooligan.

Danny responded, “I have three grandchildren and we have twins,” when asked about his grandchildren. They are known as The Terribles. I love them so much because they are nearly two and are so beautiful.

“They’re obsessed with my dogs arse for some reason. But no, they are a gift, and I’m so lucky to have them. I had kids at 18, so you get into your late 40s, and you become a grandfather. I might even make it to a great grandfather.”

Dani and Sunnie, Danny’s daughters, and Arty, his son. Santiago, four, and Summer and Star, twins, are Dani’s three grandchildren. He is also his grandfather.

Speaking to Bella magazine, Danny also spoke of his delight at finally being acknowledged for his acting. For many years his football films and TV shows were looked down on but his appearance in Disney+ drama Rivals has seen public and critical acclaim.

For his role as businessman Freddie Jones in the series based on Jilly Cooper’s books, he is up for a Broadcasting Press Guild Award for Best Actor. Expect more nominations for awards.

Danny continued, “I’ve been accepted by the elite.” I am shocked by it.

“Everyone adored Freddie a little bit. Everyone assumes that I’ve been around for 30 years, making me a really good actor all of a sudden. Over the years, I think I’ve accomplished some good things.

“Freddie has turned into a heartthrob.” When Freddie is a kind man, kindness suddenly turns sexy in him.

“And I don’t think we’ve had that for a long time. I can say that because I’ve got daughters, and I know some of the twats they’ve brought home. They always want the boys. That’s unobtainable and naughty. The character of Rupert is the sexiest man in the world but the women seem to be down for Freddie, who’s a bit cute and shy and sees women for who they are.

I have a bad wig and a nutty moustache. It has a striking appearance. Simply put, I think it’s fantastic. I’m so pleased to be a part of it.

Danny also said he would have been up for returning to EastEnders for the 40th anniversary but was not invited. He thinks he left the soap at the right time, saying: “I think when you end up with Janine, you’ve got to get out because you know she’s going to murder you eventually you.”

St. Tropez’s new facial tanner had my high hopes, but honestly, it’s almost the dream product with a few minor flaws. Let’s get to the good stuff: it quickly dries, develops in 1-3 hours, and has a precise nozzle, which makes application much simpler (especially for something this liquidy). I had no irritation at all because the scent is so pleasant—none of the old-fashioned biscuity fake tan smell. Additionally, hyaluronic acid is a fantastic addition to skin care products.

The drawbacks are now. The bottle is fairly small for the price, and it seems a little cheeky that the brush, which is meant to be used separately for the best results, is available.
