Jeremy Clarkson enjoys pint of Britpop beer as he attends rival’s festival

Jeremy Clarkson was seen enjoying a Britpop lager as he took a break from Diddly Squat farm to enjoy creator and Blur star Alex James’ festival.

Jeremy, 65, was seen relaxing in the Cheese Hub at the rustic event, held in Kingham, Oxfordshire. Wearing a brown jacket branded with the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch logo, Jeremy was joined by celebrity chef Thomas Straker as he enjoyed a tipple of the rival brand to his Hawkstone lager.

The Big Feastival will see stars including Nelly Furtado, Faithless, Travis, Wombats and Sophie Ellis-Bextor perform for attendees across the weekend. Alex hosts the event on the grounds of his six-bedroom 17th-century farmhouse, which boasts 200 acres of farmland.

Alex will close the festival with his Britpop Classical set on Sunday evening as a live band and an orchestra join him on stage. Jeremy’s outing comes after a stressful few weeks for him at his Cotswolds farm, which led to calls from PETA to cease animal farming at his property following a “devastating” tuberculosis outbreak.

In recent weeks, The Clarkson’s Farm star hastened the devastation of his animals by mentioning bovine TB. Clarkson has since written a letter to the organization PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) to urge him to stop breeding animals and turn the site into a plant-based operation.

A man might be hiding behind the bravado and banter in the correspondence, which was exclusive to the Express. We’re writing to you today for this reason.

We think that this could be your turning point and a fantastic opportunity to stop fostering and rearing animal cruelty. Incorporate mushroom and vegetable farming, and watch Diddly Squat Farm turn into a sanctuary for both you and the animals there. No more murdering. No more agonizing.”

Jeremy confirmed the “dreadful” news regarding the outbreak during a conversation with Times Radio earlier this month. He declared, “It’s awful, it’s awful. Every six months, you have a test on the cows, which is a hypothetical threat.

The vet then says, “I’m really sorry this one’s failed,” as he did yesterday lunchtime. So that implies that we are now completely locked up and that the situation is dreadful.

A post on X, formerly Twitter, stated: “Bad news from Diddly Squat. We’ve gone down with TB. Everyone here is absolutely devastated.”

If Clarkson accepts the plant-based proposal, PETA will make him the face of BritishFarming, PETA’s new website. by promoting the practice of kind, sustainable plant farming that encourages farmers, consumers, and policymakers to end animal suffering, protect the environment, and support rural communities.

All mammals, including humans, can become infected with TB. Because Clarkson’s farm is located within a “edge area” for the disease, which provides a buffer between high risk and low risk areas, it is subject to twice yearly TB testing.

The disease, which has been associated with devastating farming industries, primarily affects the respiratory system and can spread through saliva, urine, faeces, and milk exposure.

Victorious Festival share new statement after The Mary Wallopers set was cut

The Mary Wallopers, an Irish band performing at the Portsmouth festival on Friday, were forced to cut their set because they had staged a Palestinian flag.

Following a dispute over the Irish band’s use of a Palestinian flag on the stage on Friday (August 22), Victorious Festival issued a new statement following The Mary Wallopers’ set was cut.

The festival had released a statement claiming the “artist’s decision to stop the song” and that the sound was only removed “after the band used a chant that is widely understood to have a discriminatory context.” Additionally, the band was warned about their no-flags policy, according to the festival.

In retaliation, The Mary Wallopers put up a lengthy post on Instagram that read: “Yesterday, a famine was declared in Gaza, where at least 65 people were killed by Israeli attacks, all the while Israel pushed ahead with plans to split the West Bank in two.

These are the crucial details of yesterday. This video was uploaded so that everyone could see how short a Palestinian flag stood for at our show.

The festival responded to the press with a derogatory statement, saying that they cut our sound because of a racist chant and not because the band had called for Free Palestine.

Our video clearly depicts a Victorious crew member entering the stage, interfering with our show, taking the stage off, and then cutting the sound as a result of a chant for “Free Palestine.” Later, the same crew member can be heard saying, “You’re not playing until the flag is removed.”

They continued, “We completely reject Victorious’s portrayal of the events of today, and we request that they retract their statement right away. We are aware that this is receiving some attention, so we don’t want another diversion that distracts from the ongoing genocide in Palestine. FREE PALESTINE

Victorious Festival has since offered an apology for the incident in a new statement. They continued, “We were very much looking forward to The Mary Wallopers’ performance at Victorious on Friday.

This is the last thing we wanted, for the band, their fans, and ourselves, because we are in the business of putting on great shows and not cutting them off.

“We didn’t approach the explanation of our policies with care or care enough to reach a justifiable conclusion.”

The band and our own team were in a precarious position because of this. We apologize to everyone who is involved.

They continued to state that the decision to cut the performance wasn’t due to political reasons, saying, “We firmly support the right of artists to freely express their opinions from the stage, within the law, and given the event’s inclusive nature.

Our policy of allowing flags of any kind, which has been in place for broader event management and safety reasons, is not intended to compromise that right.

We accept that The Mary Wallopers’ audience received cut audio despite having the microphones remain active for longer, as the band’s video claims, and that comments made after that were audible.

As a way of apologie, the festival’s supporters were informed that they would be contributing a “substantial donation to humanitarian relief efforts for the Palestinian people.”

The Last Dinner Party, a collaboration of musicians who were cut after the band was cut, announced they were boycotting the festival after giving a statement.

On what would have been Jamal’s 35th birthday, Brenda Edwards paid him a heartfelt tribute to him three and a half years after his tragic passing. The 31-year-old DJ and entrepreneur passed away in 2022.

The Loose Women star, 56, took to Instagram on Saturday (August 23) and shared a picture of Jamal wearing a black cap and looking into the distance. She penned: “On your first birthday, I took you to Notting Hill Carnival.

I and Nishee will be celebrating you at the Carnival as it falls on your 35th birthday today! I cherish everything about you, including your smile, laugh, and sense of optimism.

“You have been with me holding my hand and guiding my steps that I take in your name. So I’m gonna party hard in your honour as I celebrate you my beautiful baby. I love you Jamal now and always. Come on,” the ITV personality concluded with a blue heart emoji.

Brenda’s fans emailed the comments section in hopes of receiving condolence messages as well as messages of support for the family.

“Oh Brenda,” one person said. I can’t imagine your grief after receiving such sincere love. As you observe your Jamal’s heavenly birthday today, may his happy memories of him in that carnival atmosphere bring comfort and light to you and your family. He is always there for you.

Another fan commented, “Brendan and family, you are in my thoughts today.” Someone else expressed “Love to you and your daughter” and said “Happy heavenly birthday to your boy Jamal.”

Thinking of you, a fourth well-wisher said. Hope you find solace in juggling your day as Jamal would have you. Celebrate his life with a special blessing.

In February this year, Brenda opened up about her loss while appearing on Loose Women alongside her co-stars Christine Lampard, Jane Moore and Coleen Nolan.

After Jamal’s unexpected passing in February 2022, Brenda opened up about her decision to move with her daughter Tanisha and talk about the numerous times she’d moved.

Brenda revealed that she had moved 13 times in her life, with nine of those times occurring after the age of 18. She openly discussed leaving her ex-husband’s home for more than 20 years and moving as a child following the deaths of her parents.

The singer then discussed moving home after Jamal’s passing, saying, “I made the decision to move from the other house that we moved to after Jamal passed.

We all shared a bright home, they said. However, the walls suddenly appeared extremely dim when he passed. It was just incredibly gloomy, and I can’t explain that.

Before his performance at Basingstoke’s CarFest, pop star Sam Ryder was spotted arriving in an off-road vehicle and doing his “adrenaline racing.” As he was escorted in the Dacia Sandrider, the star appeared to be prepared for his very own trip to the moon.

Later, Ryder performed a number of hits, including his most popular single “Space Man” and new material from his most recent album, “The Feeling Never Went Away,” on the Dakar Rally car’s stage. The 2022 Eurovision winner stepped out of Micheldever’s nearby train station to board his next mode of transportation, even sporting his own racing suit.

He “seen the perfect match for the vehicle,” according to NASA, who may not yet be ready to launch one of these into space, but they’re pretty useful in the majority of our planet. “

From 2025, Dacia will compete in the World-Rally Raid Championship (W2RC) and the Dakar Rally. The races take place in some of the toughest and most demanding environments in the world, where drivers must climb peaks and maneuver through slick turf.

Body panels are only a necessity for the Sandrider itself, which is why it is called “absolutely necessary.” With no unnecessary details and a strong emphasis on aerodynamics, the car is stripped back to its fundamentals.

For the demanding demands of rally-raid events, it has been upgraded with a reinforced subframe and bumpers, carbon bodywork, double wishbone suspension, and a 4×4 transmission.

Even in the most challenging circumstances, an innovative electrical system provides power for all on-board accessories.

Sabelt’s seats are made of special anti-bacterial materials that self-regulate humidity to combat the car’s harsh temperatures. The car’s body also has a magnetic plate to prevent the fixation bolts for the wheels from getting lost in the sand.

William and Harry’s shock realisation with one thing still in common

Due to their bitter rift, Prince William and Prince Harry haven’t spoken in three years, according to one expert, and even a tragic day might not bring them back together.

They were once the tightest of brothers who devastatingly walked shoulder to shoulder behind their mother’s coffin.

But almost 27 years to the day since their late mother Princess Diana’s untimely death, the relationship between Princes William and Harry couldn’t be more different. The pair have been embroiled in a bitter rift with the brothers not believed to have exchanged even a word in three years since the death of the late Queen.

But despite their differences, there is no doubt both princes will be taking a moment on the anniversary of their mother’s death next week to remember the last impact she made on their lives – even if it is on opposite sides of the Atlantic.

And according to former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond, Diana would have been distraught by the rift. She told the Mirror: “Diana was immensely proud of her boys. Her drawing room was full of framed photographs of them and her eyes lit up when she talked about them.

“She loved to kiss and cuddle them – even when they protested. I’m sure that both William and Harry would give the world to have just one more hug with her now.

She would be distressed to learn how bitterly her boys have split up, I believe. She had hoped that they would become best friends with one another.

“Somewhat, I believe, she would have made a peace, and William and Harry’s relationship would never have been this bad.”

“Diana herself used to have a fight with some of her relatives, particularly her mother and stepmother,” but she usually settled things off. However, there is no chance that William and Harry’s rift will ever heal.

You would assume that the Princes would be the only two people in the world who could truly comfort one another on such a depressing anniversary because it must be incredibly difficult for them. But that is no longer the case.

Diana continues to be present in both William and Harry’s private and professional lives. Both men support causes that were close to their late mother, such as addressing HIV/AIDS and homelessness.

Diana’s granddaughters, Princess Charlotte and Princess Lilibet, both have her name as middle names while the Princess of Wales and Duchess of Sussex often wear pieces of her jewellery.

And Jennie continued, “Both William and Harry have consistently made it clear that their mother is always in their minds and hearts every day.”

They keep the Princess as close as possible, from the engagement rings they gave their wives to the Diana pictures they have around their homes.

Harry and William have different looks, but William is the younger brother who exhibits more of her rebellious personality. Both have fought to preserve her memory by supporting causes like homelessness, mental health, and the scourge of landmines in Africa.

“It must be odd for them to realize that their mother passed away many years earlier than either of them.” It’s a child’s perspective on a parent strange.

She would have been 64 by now, and I believe she enjoys being a grandmother. But I suppose Diana will always be remembered and forever be dear to her boys.
