From adorable grandkids running around the living room to family mementos decorating the walls of the hallway, it’s clear Vanessa Feltz’s home is one of love and laughter. And that makes it the perfect place to celebrate the launch of her daughter Saskia Joss’s debut book, entitled Help! My Child’s Anxiety Is Giving Me Anxiety .

As we arrive at broadcaster Vanessa’s Gothic-style home in north London, preparations are in full swing for the book launch party, which later sees famous pals such as Helen Flanagan, Katie Piper and Anthea Turner join in the celebrations alongside friends and family.

With the whole family going full-on glam for the occasion, we can’t help but notice how in shape Vanessa looks, as we ask whether she’s got any new beauty secrets up her sleeve.

“Oh, that’s very nice of you to say, thank you,” says Vanessa, who adds, “What have I been doing? I don’t know! I think it’s because I’m working so much, to be honest. I’m just working seven days a week. I’ve got the new Vanessa show on Channel 5 every day at 12. 30pm. Then I do LBC Saturdays and Sundays. Being busy and on my feet must be contributing to how I look. ”

Opening up about her daughter’s first book, she tells us: “I am so unbelievably proud of Saskia, I’m incredibly excited and she has written the most wonderful book,” says Vanessa, 63, as we sit down for a chat with her and youngest daughter Saskia, 36, before the party.

With a massage station setting up behind the mother-daughter duo – who are like two peas in a pod – and a table of charcuterie nibbles to their left, Vanessa has pulled out all of the stops for Saskia’s big bash.

Grateful for her mum’s unwavering support, it’s clear Saskia has a close bond with her TV host mum. “I’m very pleased to be doing this here with my mum at her house. It just shows how much she supports me, that she would host such a beautiful event to celebrate something so important in my life,” she says.

“We’ve got a very close relationship,” beams Vanessa, who shares Saskia and eldest daughter Allegra, 39, with ex-husband Michael Kurer. “I’ve got two daughters and we’re all very close. We’re all supportive and are all very proud. ”

Saskia, a children’s therapist who can now add the feather of published author to her cap, hasn’t previously followed in her mum’s show-business footsteps, but tells us she was keen to make her own mark on the industry with the book, which aims to help parents with anxious kids.

She explains, “I specialise in working with children with all different kinds of anxieties, particularly post-pandemic. So, my job is looking after children and helping them get better from anxiety, and I learnt a lot in the last few years. I wanted to share that with other parents, so they could feel less out of control and manage their children’s anxiety. ”

While they may not be in the same career fields, Saskia credits her mum – who released her own autobiography last year, Vanessa Bares All: Frank, Funny And Fearless – for being her chief sub-editor, and coming up with the book’s striking title.

“She certainly didn’t need advice from me, but yes, I was a bit of a sub-editor,” laughs Vanessa, as her daughter explains, “She edited it for me before I gave it to my real editor and she also came up with a title, which is very important for a book! It’s a very catchy title. It’s surprising and if there’s one thing you can be sure of, my mum will always surprise you with words! ”

As we chat, Vanessa and Saskia are sweetly interrupted by Saskia’s eldest daughter, Cecily, who skips over to nestle into her mum. “This is Cecily, by the way, she’s my youngest grandchild and she’s only two,” says doting grandmum Vanessa as she beams down at the toddler, who is dressed for the occasion in a pretty pink gown.

As we leave Vanessa and her daughter to meet their guests, Vanessa’s close friend Helen Flanagan is one of the first to arrive. “I love Vanessa and I’ve met Saskia a few times before, so I’m happy to be here,” Helen reveals. As a mum-of-three, the former Coronation Street star – who has been very open about her own mental health struggles – admits she’s looking forward to getting stuck into the new book.

“I feel passionate about mental health, especially as a mum. My little girl sometimes gets anxious. So, I’ll definitely be reading this book! I don’t think you can overshare when it comes to mental health. ”

Loose Women ’s Katie Piper is next to arrive. “I love Vanessa and I’ll always support everything she does,” says the mum-of-two. “She’s one of my female heroes. I’ve admired Saskia from afar for a while, so I’m excited to read her book.”

Later, as we’re grabbing some fresh air at the front of Vanessa’s home, we spot another famous face – former Blue Peter star Anthea Turner. She explains that her fiancé Mark Armstrong was also meant to be there, but he stayed home to take care of their French bulldog, Soho. Gesturing at her friend Lizzie Cundy nearby, Anthea gushes over how the TV personality was the one to set her and Mark up. She explains, “If it wasn’t for Lizzie, I wouldn’t have met Mark and got engaged and been incredible happy. ”

Anthea, who in 2001 was in the first season of Celebrity Big Brother with Vanessa, adds, “I’ve known Saskia since she was a tiny person! I think there are some showbiz friendships, you know, air-kissing friendships, and then there’s proper friends. Vanessa is a proper friend.”

With the home now buzzing with guests and the dining room turned dance floor in full swing, Saskia takes the opportunity to give a speech, as she thanks her nearest and dearest for their unwavering support.

After hugs and a few tears of joy, guests were left to mingle, take a trip to the DIY adults arts-and-crafts section, enjoy a massage or hit the cute pick ’n’ mix selection. And before calling it a night, they ensured to pick up their goodie bags – complete with a copy of Saskia’s book, jewellery and a packet of Haribo sweets. Oh, what a night…

Stacey Solomon gives tearful update on dog Teddy who might ‘never be the same again’

Stacey Solomon issued an emotional update over a week after revealing her family pet dog, Teddy, had all of a sudden taken ill and needed to be rushed to the vets

Stacey Solomon issued a heartfelt update on her pet pooch Teddy after revealing the animal had fallen ill last week. The reality TV star, 35, took to her Instagram Stories to share the latest on the canine’s health after worrying fans last week.

The Loose Women panelist had told followers her and her five children were “truly devastated” last week with the news Teddy “might not ever fully recover” from his condition. They hadn’t been aware of the animal’s condition when they rescued him, but Stacey had admitted the “next 3-4 days are crucial” when breaking the news last week.

Now, over a week later she has apologised for her delayed update. She revealed how Teddy “lost the use of his back legs” on Good Friday, leaving the family in turmoil. She admitted he had shown no signs of pain before the scary incident.

She went on to say the dog had suffered a burst disc, saying vets described how “all of his spine is not looking good at all” with all of the discs looking “really worn”.

As she began to open up fully on events, Stacey emotionally said: “He is home. I got to bring him home last week so he made it through the operation and through the period of time where it was the highest risk following the operation and I got to bring him home. “

Apologising again for her lack of activity, Stacey went on: “I’ve been trying to get me head around things and also I’m not a good crier.

“I’m not a good in-person crier. Like I hate crying in front of people. I just know if I’d have come on I would have cried. I’ve cried a lot. “

Explaining how she had kept herself away from everyone, she added she is “so grateful” Teddy is home. Despite being able to bring her pet home, Stacey revealed she’s “really not well still”.

She continued: “I have moved my work to work from home and cancelled some things so that I can try and help him recover. I do physio with him every day and I have to express his bladder throughout the day. And he’s on medication. “

Expressing his bladder has been “a whole humbling experience,” Stacey admitted. “That has made me cry on a number of occasions because I just felt like I was s*** and doing a s**** job for Teddy and being a really s*** dog mum. “

Stacey revealed her dog is on crate rest for at least four weeks following the major surgery. She teared up again as she explained “this might be Teddy forever” if the animal doesn’t fully recover.

She admitted the family is now taking every day is it comes, with Teddy’s future still in the balance. “We just need to see how it goes from here,” she said.

“There is like a 30 per cent chance he might recover fully but there’s also a massive chance that he’s going to be disabled and unable to urinate for himself and involuntary poos and will need a lot of physio and help for the rest of his life. “

Paedophile Rolf Harris’ Berkshire mansion put up for sale two years after death

EXCLUSIVE: The riverside property, in Bray, Berkshire, is being quietly marketed by Mayfair-based estate agents Benson International, with an asking price of £4million

Paedophile Rolf Harris’ Berkshire mansion put up for sale two years after death

Rolf Harris’ mansion home has been put up for sale, two years after his death. The riverside property, in Bray, Berkshire, is being quietly marketed by Mayfair-based estate agents Benson International, with an asking price of £4million. Rolf’s only child Bindi inherited it and most of his £16million estate.

A source told the Mirror : “Bindi was seen emptying the property about a month ago. She wants to sell it, but she doesn’t desperately need the money and is in no rush, so she’s determined to hold out for a good price. Potential buyers have already begun viewings.” Rolf died of neck cancer at the house aged 93 in May 2023. His wife Alwen, who had been suffering from Alzheimer’s, died in August last year.

He was jailed for five years and nine months in July 2014 after being found guilty of a dozen indecent assaults against four young girls.

His crimes, some of which occurred inside the house, took place between 1968 and 1986.

In one instance Harris reportedly sexually assaulted one of his daughter Bindi’s friends, who was between the ages of 13 and 19 at the time.

He was accused of performing a sex act on her there while his daughter slept in another room.

Rolf, who was born in Australia, had been living there for more than six decades after rising to fame in his early 20’s when he began performing a regular ten-minute cartoon drawing section in children’s show Jigsaw.

The house was designed in line with his childhood house on the banks of the Swan River in Perth, Western Australia, where he learned to swim before becoming a national junior backstroke champion aged 15.

It was renovated ahead of his release from jail in 2017, with workmen seen replacing a large patio at a cost of more than £10,000.

And the front drive, which is overlooked by a horsehead, was also dug up and the back garden was revamped.

Speaking about the property, our source said: “It’s a massive plot in a very desirable area on the banks of the Thames, so there’s bound to be interest.

“But it remains to be seen if its past and notoriety may put some people off.

“Anyone who can afford the asking price clearly has plenty of money, so it’s very likely they’ll knock the current house down and build a new modern property on the land. ”

Benson International describe themselves as a “premium property specialist operating in the heart of London advising clients internationally with assets in the UK”.

Their website adds: “We are a private office who have worked alongside clients with discretion for many years. ”

They were contacted for comment.

Kyle Walker caught watching Netflix show about cheaters as he catches Ryanair flight to UK

On a cheap flight from Milan to Manchester, England defender Kyle Walker leapt, and his fellow passengers noticed what he had done.

Football star Kyle Walker was seen watching a show about cheaters as he took a low-cost flight back to the UK.

The former Manchester City right-back was returning to the city from Italy, where he is currently playing for AC Milan. He jumped on a Ryanair flight back to England, and his choice of programme to kill some time on the three-hour trip caught other travellers’ eye.

Seen with his laptop out enjoying Temptation Island, the England full-back was engrossed in the hit Netflix show which centres around people having their fidelity tested. Kyle, attempting to keep a low profile in a black cap, was seen signing autographs on board and having photos with fans on the flight on Sunday.

Kairo, Kairo, four, and Kinara, two-year-old daughter, are the two children the football player has had with reality TV star Lauren Goodman. He provided a less than compelling explanation for why he has cheated on wife Annie Kilner numerous times throughout their relationship.

She is trying her best to rekindle things with the footballer, and has been looking after the children at their Cheshire mansion while Kyle works away in Italy after transferring to Milan in the January transfer window. Just last month, he was caught partying with two models in Milan while Annie was back home.

Annie has reportedly laid down new ground rules in light of Kyle’s night out. He apologised after news of him fathering Lauryn’s second child was exposed and said he made “idiot choices and idiot decisions”, insisting that the “only person to blame is me”. He said in the statement: “What I’ve done is horrible and I take full responsibility.

Tension bubbled once again between Kyle and Annie last month when he was spotted in the Living Room at the Casa Cipriani Milano hotel until the early hours of 26 February, before moving to the Tocqueville 13 nightclub with the models and the rest of his entourage.

A source told the Mirror that Kyle’s relationship with the models was strictly platonic despite spending thousands at the club and that Kyle left the venue hours before the two women arrived. Although Annie has decided to try it once more, he needs to realize that even the most innocent things can end up pooping on him, according to a source who claimed OK! of his partying, in her opinion.

Annie and Kyle got married in 2022 after a 12 year relationship, having met as teenagers in their Sheffield hometown, but their long relationship almost came to an end due to the news he fathered two children with Lauryn. In January, the Mirror revealed that the couple had put their “divorce” on hold and were going to try to make things work, after it was reported in October that Annie was allegedly fighting to get half of Kyle’s eye-watering £27 million fortune.
