The 30-year-old Emmerdale star shared the good news on social media and posted a number of images of him and girlfriend Kirsty cradling their young son.

An Emmerdale actor, 30, who was part of the soap’s cast from September 2018 until October 2019, has shared joyous news after welcoming a baby into his life. However, Asan N’Jie is known for being axed from the show following an altercation where he threatened to stab Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas at the 2019 TV Choice Awards.

Asan, who is now attempting to become a father, shared the birth of his son on social media. The excited new dad shared sweet photos with his wife Kirsty and their son, Leo-Mekailu, on Facebook.

Congratulations were flooded in from followers, one fan even saying, “Huge congrats to you both”! Amy Walsh, a former model for Emmerdale, reacted with awestruck delight, saying, “Awww, babe, this news is gorgeous.”

The pregnancy was only made public last month when Asan hinted at the exciting future arrival on Instagram, writing: “Can’t wait to meet Liccle baby boy.”

Asan’s stint as Ellis Chapman in Emmerdale had a controversial end when he was caught threatening Jamie Lomas with violence during the awards ceremony in 2019, purportedly saying, “Do you think you are a f***ing big man? I’m going to f***ing kill you,” followed by, “I’m going to f***ing knife you.”

Asan allegedly made offensive remarks toward Kym Marsh’s ex-husband at the beginning of the conflict.

Post-incident, Asan’s contract was terminated swiftly, and another actor stepped into the role of Ellis. It was reported that the conflict started with a “completely unprovoked” insult thrown at Jamie by Asan, who later expressed remorse over the incident, commenting: “My behaviour at the TV Choice Awards was completely unacceptable and very much out of character.

I sincerely apologise to everybody who has been affected, especially Jamie Lomas, the entire Emmerdale crew, our viewers, ITV, my family, and the organisers of the TV Choice Awards.”

Asan continued to appear in scenes from Emmerdale that he had already filmed as his character Ellis Chapman despite being fired at the time.

As a result, soap executives said Ellis would be on screen for another six weeks because it would be “virtually impossible” to cut out his character from the upcoming storylines without reversing episodes.

In the Shepard Christmas movie in 2023, Asann and John Travolta co-starred. The movie is based on Frederick Forsyth’s novel, which follows a fighter pilot who gets lost on Christmas Eve when they get home.

Asan has since appeared in BBC1’s Bloodlands alongside James Nesbitt and BBC2’s Industry despite leaving Emmerdale on unfavorable terms.

Molly-Mae stated to fans, “Meant to be on the plane home right now,” along with a video of Bambi pushing a pram on a property’s terrace. In the post, she included an emoji of a face holding its mouth in hand.

Posts about the pair’s continued presence in Dubai have been made fun of. In one photo, you could see inside their home, and Molly-Mae teased the caption, “They had moved to a different room in their hotel.” She wrote, “New room *gasp*,” next to a crying emoji in it.

Another more recent photo, which was shared this afternoon, shows Molly-Mae and Bambi taking a selfie together on vacation. The reality TV star also shared a picture of the youngster staring at a cake in a bakery.

Molly-Mae and Tommy have visited Dubai several times in the past, including having visited the destination with their daughter Bambi last year. It’s even thought to have been the location of their first holiday with her back in 2023.

Molly-Mae recently revealed that she would be taking a “need” vacation while visiting the city along with Bambi. In her most recent YouTube vlog, which was released on Sunday, she expressed her excitement and discussed the trip.

She once stated to the audience, “We are going for a little vacation in Dubai with Bambi.” “I feel like I’m going to really have some nice time off and just really switch off,” Molly-Mae said while enlisting in the trip.

The content creator – who stars in Prime Video’s Molly-Mae: Behind It All – said: “It’s needed this little trip.” She went on to state that despite being a “home girl,” she had been “craving” some time away later. She said: “I am actually like very much, as you guys know, a home girl [but] recently I have been craving a little getaway and just some time to kinda just like escape.”
