Stacey put a lot of effort into creating a scent that strikes the perfect balance between luxury and affordability.

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! winner, Sam Thompson, is reportedly finding news of Zara McDermott’s new romance difficult to deal with.

Just three months after Zara, 28, and Sam, 32, called it quits, the Love Island star is said to be dating One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson, 33, sending shockwaves through the showbiz world.

Although he hasn’t commented directly on his ex’s new direction, Sam, who will meet Louis for Soccer Aid in June, is said to be finding the pace at which she moves on “tough.”

Sam Thompson and Zara McDermott
In December 2024, Sam Thompson and Zara McDermott called it quits.

They told the Mail: “‘As far as he’s concerned, Louis is Zara’s new man and he’s just got to accept it. He’s a positive guy and will just move on from this, throwing himself into work and getting stuck into the exciting projects he’s got coming up.

He obviously felt depressed when their relationship ended, and it’s difficult to move on from your ex-partner so quickly. And it would be understandable if he had both anger and destruction. Far from it, he isn’t just sitting around wallowing in self-pity.

Zara and Louis Tomlinson have fuelled speculation they are dating after being spotted at a cosy dinner in Suffolk. The Strictly Come Dancing star – who split from Sam in December – was seen on a date with the One Direction singer, but the pair are said to be taking things slowly as they get to know one another.

Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne’s marriage reached “breaking point” at Christmas, as the pair spent time apart. The couple confirmed their split at the weekend, after tying the knot eight years ago.

One source says their relationship had been struggling “for months” and that it reached a head in December. “Jacqueline and Dan’s marriage had been on the rocks for a while,” they said. “The cracks really started to appear at the end of last year and they reached breaking point at Christmas. At a time when most people are spending it with their closest and dearest, that wasn’t the case for them.” Spending the festive period with her family, Jacqueline, 32, was pictured with daughters Ella, nine, and Mia, six, in a snap posted my mum Selina – but there was no sign of Dan, 33.

Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osbourne
Dan Osbourne and Jacqueline Jossa earlier this week made their split known.

“When that picture was posted, eyebrows were raised,” according to the source. “Where’s Dan?” was the question that was raised. They made an effort to get their union to work, but ultimately it just went too far. They are now attempting to understand their separation and what it means for their children.

It also appeared there was no love lost between Dan as his mother-in-law Selina, who has unfollowed him on Instagram, after appearing to previously be on friendly terms.

The EastEnders actress and the TOWIE star issued a joint statement this week to confirm their split. It said: “Jacqueline and Dan are handling things privately, choosing to keep their lives and relationship out of the public eye. They kindly ask for respect and privacy as they navigate this together.

Their children are always in charge, surrounded by both parents’ love and care, which is unchangeable. Above all, Jacqueline and Dan are concerned about the best interests of their children. There won’t be any more comments.

Over the years, Jacqueline and Dan’s relationship has been in the spotlight. The pair began dating in 2013 and married in 2017. It hasn’t been a drama free union. As well as spilt rumours, the pair have been dogged by cheating allegations, most namely in 2018 when Dan was seen with Gabby Allen on a yacht together, with both of them denying that anything had ever happened between them. The pair were on Celebrity Big Brother together in 2018.

Following her stint in I’m A Celebrity back in 2019, which she went on to win, Jacqueline planned to “restart” their relationship after admitting she had given her then-husband “two years of hell” over the allegations. Dan later issued a statement following that interview, where he said some of the allegations were “true” and some were “very untrue” and vowed to be the best husband he could be.

According to reports, their marriage suffered as a result of Dan’s purchase of a home last year without telling Jacqueline until the end.

In January Jacqueline’s reps denied the pair had split when approached by the Mirror. The following day a source told The Sun that: ”Jacqueline and Dan are both shocked, hurt and upset about the rumours of a split. Yes, it’s true they are selling their house, but that doesn’t mean they’re not together.”

Jacqueline, who plays Lauren Branning on the BBC1 soap, was this spotted without her wedding ring following her split as she headed out to the gym in Essex.

Prince Harry’s drug admissions that prompted long-running row over US visa

After a think tank questioned why Prince Harry was allowed into the country after admitting to using drugs in the past, Prince Harry is facing facing a lengthy legal battle in which files relating to his application for a US visa will be made public today.

Prince Harry is braced for the release of private documents related to his US visa application amid a long-running legal row. A judge in America has ordered the release of the documents as part of an ongoing Freedom of Information (FOI) request brought by conservative US think tank the Heritage Foundation.

Harry’s reference to taking cocaine, marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms in his controversial memoir Spare prompted the Washington DC organisation to question why he was allowed into the US in 2020 after quitting as a working royal. We take a look at what he’s said about his drug use in the past…

Cannabis

One drug that Harry admits taking in Spare is cannabis and in the book, he recalls his introduction to it while he was at Eton College. He said: “I don’t remember how we got the stuff. One of my mates, I expect. Or maybe several.

We would install a surprisingly thoughtful, organized assembly line in a tiny upstairs bathroom whenever we found ourselves in possession. Second and third boys sat in the empty bath, legs dangling over, waiting their turn, while the second boy leant against the window.

“You’d take a hit or two, blow the smoke out of the window, and then move on to the next station, in rotation, until the spliff was gone,” you might say. Then we all headed upstairs and giggled ourselves silly over a new show episode or two. “Family Guy”

Later in the book, he also recalls rolling a joint while he and Meghan were staying at Tyler Perry’s house after they fled to the US. In the book, Harry recalls how he and Meghan loved Tyler’s house describing it as ‘Xanadu’.

He also explains how, when everyone went to sleep, he would find himself checking the windows and doors around the house while security concerns were in his head. And he states in his memoir, “Then I’d roll a joint and sit on the balcony or the edge of the garden.”

The house looked across a hillside full of frogs and down onto a valley. I would take their late-night show and take in the floral air. I returned to Botswana because of the frogs, smells, trees, and the sky’s big stars. For those over the age of 21, cannabis is permitted for recreational use in California.

Cocaine

Harry also mentioned his drug use in Spare and said he had been offered a line at someone’s country house during a shooting weekend, and that he had since done a few more. Although it appeared to everyone around me to be making me feel special, it wasn’t very enjoyable and it didn’t make me feel particularly happy. However, it did make me feel special, which was the main goal.

“Feel. Different . I was a 17-year-old boy who was incredibly uneasy and willing to try almost anything to alter the status quo. I kept telling myself that, regardless. At a meeting with Dr. Gabor Maté, he said, “That didn’t do anything for me.” More of a social issue, perhaps?

Psychedelics

Harry also mentioned using hallucinogens at the same time, saying: “It was the removal of life’s filters — these layers of filters. It made it all for me, allowing me to relax, feel at ease, and feel less burdened for a while. He said, “I started doing it for recreational purposes before realizing how beneficial it was for me.”

Harry continued, “I would say that one of the fundamental aspects of my life was the one that helped me deal with the traumas and the pains of the past.”

Five Things To Know About ‘Assassin’s Creed’

Since its debut in 2007, “Assassin’s Creed” has grown to become a video game juggernaut with more than 230 million players worldwide and a star-studded spin-off film and Grammy Award to its name.

As “Assassin’s Creed Shadows”‘ most recent edition is scheduled for release on Thursday, AFP examines the game’s unique journey.

Violence history

The “Assassin’s Creed” series offers a wild ride through time and space from the Crusades’ bazaars to the icy Nordic coasts of the Viking era.

The first game, set during the Crusades, was based on the 1938 book “Alamut” by Slovenian author Vladimir Bartol.

The 14th instalment of the most recent edition from publisher Ubisoft makes a long-awaited trip to 16th-century feudal Japan.

Players are encouraged to scurry their way through densely guarded strongholds with weapons like grappling hooks, smoke bombs, and wrist-mounted daggers to defeat well-known foes from the shadows as always in the series.

With weapons, bows, martial arts moves, and weapons on offer, open conflict may also be a viable option.

The possibilities for mayhem range over the centuries because a frame story that is common to each game places the player in the shoes of a near-future character that uses a powerful machine to unlock the DNA-encoded memories of their ancestors.

Instant jackpot

The first game of the series sold more than eight million copies worldwide between the debut of the second episode in 2009, making it a hit right away.

And the more well-known it has become the longer it has been around.

In a first for the publisher, France-based Ubisoft reported that the series’ 2020 release “Valhalla” generated more than one billion euros in revenue (currently $1.1 billion).

Additionally, “Valhalla” established new ground.

The first Grammy award in the video game industry was presented to the series’ composer Stephanie Economou for “Dawn of Ragnarok,” an extension of “Valhalla.”

quick and loose?

Rarely have fans of the video games’ occasionally rambunctious interpretations of history been applauded.

Yasuke, a burly black samurai serving the warlord Oda Nobunaga, is the playable character in “Shadows,” which has sparked controversy.

Although a real black man by the name of that time lived in Japan during that time, his samurai status is frowned upon, including on social media.

The creators of the video game have defended the character’s “creative freedom.”

In the episode set during the French Revolution, leftist firebrand Jean-Luc Melenchon accused the creators of “propaganda against the people” in 2014, according to French leftist activist Jean-Luc Melenchon.

To maintain its historical accuracy, Ubisoft claims to employ “differenzed of historians, sociologists, and other social science researchers.”

Starry cast, rave reviews

With the release of a movie with the same name, “Assassin’s Creed” saga made its way back to the well-known path of successful video games in 2016 and followed that path.

Although the cast was excellent, with Marion Cotillard and Michael Fassbender serving as the stars, the reviews were subpar, and rumors of a big-screen sequel have remained untrue.

However, Ubisoft was unafraid and signed a deal with Netflix in 2021 to produce a number of series based on the franchise.

Additionally, there are podcasts and spin-off comics in the saga.

Every year, Ubisoft promised new content for the “Assassin’s Creed” universe, but it didn’t say whether it would be games or other forms.

spotlight on the Olympics

A common thread connecting the vignettes from the Paris Olympics’ opening ceremony in summer 2024 was a masked hero figure scurrying across the rooftops of the French capital while emblazoning the Olympic torch.

Thomas Jolly, the ceremonies’ artistic director, claimed this month that “Unity” served as the character’s direct inspiration.

He remarked in a podcast he made at Ubisoft’s headquarters, “I love video games and I love Assassin’s Creed.”

Jolly said Arno, the protagonist of “Unity,” could compete with contemporary French pop stars like “gentleman thief” Arsene Lupin.

Following the devastating 2019 fire at Paris’s Notre Dame cathedral, Ubisoft made “Unity” free for a week on PC to let players explore the game’s incredibly detailed recreation of the structure.

Several million people accepted the offer.
