At their brand-new Staffordshire family farm, Coleen Nolan and her daughter Ciara Fensome are busy. In June, Coleen, 60, and Ciara, 23, obtained the property’s keys, and they have since transformed the six-acre farm so they can live nearby, but not too close.

Ciara, whose dad is musician Ray Fensome, lives in a separate house which was used by the previous owner’s as an Airbnb with her new fiancé Max, Coleen tells OK! during a private house tour and chat. Max and Coleen now manage her 30 animal farm in Vietnam after getting engaged in Vietnam during a boat trip to Ha Long Bay.

Ciara, who is animal-mad like her famous mum, says she couldn’t be more proud seeing Coleen finally achieve her dream. “She’s worked her entire life and to see a nearly 60-year-old woman with all this to herself is so inspiring”, she shared.

“I’m absolutely loving living here. Within a few days, it changed from a house to a home. We’re actually living my dream life, too, and I’m so grateful. I couldn’t be more proud of her. The horses are visible from my window in the morning, and that’s what I like.

Ciara’s home – which Coleen admits she treats like the “local restaurant” because Ciara’s such a good cook – sits apart from Coleen’s bigger farmhouse, and Coleen is keen to make it clear that they can’t see into each other’s houses!

“If I had to have neighbours, they’d be the ones I’d want. Although I believe they believe that I’m the neighborhood Tesco Express, Ciara will show up and leave with a bag full of whatever she found in my fridge. She then becomes similar to my neighborhood restaurant because I will go there for dinner before returning home. So, I can’t really complain when she comes and steals the ingredients”.

Coleen claims that her daughter has a “good eye” for design and has it very cozy and homely during an exclusive tour of Ciara’s annexe house.

“It’s a gorgeous place for her and Max to live. She’s made it all Christmassy”, she said. She also has my bookcase and library at her disposal. We were able to chop it in half in half, so she got one, and I got one, because they were put together and went down the entire wall when we arrived.

She has been traveling for six months, so she has a lot of things to bring with her. Just homely.. sitting here reading a book, it’s perfect. It just feels so homely, she’s got a good eye for it. And they tell me they’re very happy here and that’s all I care about. “

And, you know, it’s nothing to do with anyone else, it’s nobody’s fault. However, I’m extremely busy, and I spend much of my time on the farm when I’m not so busy with work. Who knows, but we still get along great and hope to keep getting friends?

She added: “I’m not going to say it wasn’t sad, because of course it was. But I sincerely hope that we can remain friends once the sadness passes. I don’t regret any of it, it was fabulous. I think over the past three and a half years, we’ve helped each other grow, and Michael came along at the ideal time for me.

Although Coleen and Michael initially had a romantic relationship, it seems like this time might be over. Her assertion that they’ll still be pals, however, isn’t unusual. Coleen’s two ex-husbands are two of her best friends. The TV star was married to Shane Richie from 1990 to 1999, and then Ray Fensome from 2007 to 2018. She and Ray, the actor who stars in EastEnders, have two sons, and they have a younger daughter.

Coleen counts both of the men as her close confidants, and explained: “I think that comes from age and experience”. After working in television for more than a quarter of a century, Coleen Nolan claims her father would always advise her that she should work on a farm. She gave her “happy place” in June when she received the keys to her six-acre Staffordshire home. in an exclusive chat, and even though it’s a lot of work to keep everything running smoothly, she’s living her best life.

“It’s just a wonderful feeling, it really is my happy place”, she shared. “The best thing about it is, the animals don’t care whether I’ve got make-up on, or what I’m wearing. As long as I’m giving them food, letting them out or taking them for a walk, they don’t care about anything else”.

She continued, “Because I’m in an industry that is fabulous, but also means you’re judged by everything you do, being on the farm where nothing matters and no one is judging me is a wonderful feeling”.

Coleen, who will celebrate 25 years on Loose Women next year, also shares the plot with her daughter Ciara and Ciara’s new fiancé Max. The couple, who got engaged in March while visiting Vietnam, reside in a separate home that the couple’s previous owners had used as an Airbnb.

As well as being a huge help to take care of the three horses, five dogs, six cats, five ducks, two cockerels, four hens and five pygmy goats, Ciara also has another very important job – the farm chef!

“It’s fabulous because we’re so close, and I know it sounds like a cliché but she’s my best mate and I just love Max”, she said. “If I had to have neighbours, they’d be the ones I’d want”.

Coleen’s farmhouse, which she says has an “atmosphere of countryside and cosiness” with its low beamed ceilings and lots of natural stone and wood, already feels like home to her, but there’s plenty more she’d like to do it.

At the moment, her living room is her favourite spot. “In this room I have my bookcase and I’ve kind of tried to make it a chillout, kind of library room”, she said. “On the bookcase I have souvenirs. My kids always bring me back something when they are away on vacation.

” I have my Emmy, that’s my favourite pride and joy so I have to mention her! Pictures, books, everything you could want just to chill out in this room. “
