The Northern Irish hip-hop group Kneecap have found themselves under the spotlight by police following a statement made during a concert in 2023. A video of the concert held in London, showed a member of the group telling fans that “only a good Tory is a dead Tory.” And then went on to allegedly say “kill your local MP.”
The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that they are looking into the video and another from last year, when a band member appeared to shout “up Hamas, up Hezbollah” to the crowd.
According to The Telegraph, police are allegedly examining the footage to see if it has broken any terrorism laws.
The trio’s alleged member allegedly said, “We’re still under British occupation in Ireland,” in the video. In Ireland, older men are still making decisions in London that affect my life.
The group member then continued, “And even worse, they’re f****** Tories. A dead Tory is the only decent Tory. Your neighborhood politician should be dead.

Due to what organizers have called an “incredible demand,” many Glastonbury fans who were hoping to get a ticket to the festival this summer have been left without money.

Glastonbury fans are furious after failing to bag to any final resale tickets for the festival this summer. The last lot of tickets for the Worthy Farm knees-up were up for grabs online today, however, they sold out within 20 minutes, leaving many potential party people empty-handed.
The official Glastonbury X account broke the bad news that all West Country festival tickets had already been sold, according to the official Glastonbury X account. “On a morning of incredible demand, all of the tickets in today’s resale have now been sold,” said the official Glastonbury X account. I’m sorry to those who didn’t buy one, but I’m grateful to everyone who purchased one. Some people, who were upset about the ticketing system on social media, didn’t feel like it was enough.

Many Glastonbury fans have been left empty-handed, meaning they’ll have to watch the likes of The 1975 on TV(Image: Getty Images)
Given the comments made this morning, one person said, “I don’t think #glastonburyfestival cares about their fans any more.” The festival doesn’t seem to be where it was in the past.
Another claimed that the payment page had been “absolutely gutted,” and that it had been closed after about 18 minutes, before saying it had sold out. A third vented: “This is b******s, Glastonbury. For six years, I haven’t been able to get tickets”! while a fourth yelled, “Please reinstate the old system.” It has been a crazy year. Four tries later, nothing came even close.
An automatic queue system was introduced last year after Glastonbury made changes to its booking process.

Fans would now have to be online before 14 and 17 November’s ticket sales began as a result of the change. Once tickets are available, they would be “randomly assigned a place in the queue” rather than having to refresh the holding page. Later members were automatically placed at the back of the queue.
The ticketing system’s load is supposed to be reduced, and it may even make the process easier for users because it doesn’t have to constantly refresh the website.
Many fans, however, were unable to purchase tickets, and will now have to watch the festival on television to see their favorite artists perform.
A number of stars are included in this year’s lineup, including The 1975, Olivia Rodrigo, Neil Young, Rod Stewart, and Charli XCX.
But for fans unable to bag a ticket, who are still wanting their fix of live music, the Mirror has rounded up a list of other festivals around the country, which offer a good alternative.
The Liverpool Sound City festival, which ran from May 2 through May 4, honored the city’s musical heritage and is a great place to find the upcoming big indie and alternative acts. In this renowned music city, performances from a variety of venues offer a personal festival experience. Tickets from £49.50.
Meanwhile, Gok Wan and Roni Size will both be performing sets at Back To Mine in Bristol, which will be shown on May 23 through May 25. For just £66.45, you can purchase a weekend pass to the house and dance music festival that lasts three days.
One of the biggest urban festivals in the UK will take place at Parklife in Manchester on June 14 and 15. It is home to a lineup of top-notch acts from all different genres, including hip-hop, pop, and electronica, all of whom are renowned for their lively audiences and upbeat energy. Tickets are from £97.70.

Joel Dommett’s craziness surrounding the London Marathon’s 2025 season has caused chaos as he ran the risk of resigning from the race. The 39-year-old Masked Singer host was laced up and ready to go on Sunday morning as he joined a flurry of runners from across the country competing in the renowned annual race.
Joel’s busy schedule for the day, which included launching the marathon just after performing in Leeds, was shared by him before he set off. The TV star planned to leave at 9 a.m. the following morning after a sold-out show on Saturday night.
Joel had to leave for his young son Wilde in three hours to attend his race in September 2023 along with his 36-year-old wife Hannah Cooper. However, Joel’s lapses on the way around the capital caused a spanner to be thrown in the mix.
When the TV host arrived in Canary Wharf, which was about halfway through the run, he was spotted requiring assistance. As he continued along the route, two other people spotted him being held up.
As Joel began to walk, his speed dramatically decreased as he wore a vest that clearly showed the charity he was supporting, Brain Tumour Support. He was scheduled to finish the race in three hours, but after seven hours he was told to expect to do so.

In the end, Joel completed the race in 6 hours, 3 minutes, and 27 seconds. He appeared winced as he left the marathon’s setting while posing with a medal in hand and a cheerful smile.
Later, the actor planned an ice bath at 3 p.m. and was scheduled to start filming a project at 5:45 p.m., with his shorter running time likely having an impact on his plans. Joel had urged fans to donate to the charity he had chosen prior to the race.
I’m attempting to run a sub-3 hour London Marathon this year before I’m 40 years old, he wrote on his donation page. I’m attempting to raise money and raise awareness for brain tumor support.

After supporting my wife Hannah after her mother was diagnosed with a brain tumor, he went on to explain the details of the charity. Thank you so much for everything that you can donate.
Joel and McFly drummer harry Judd posed for photos before the race, sharing a photo of themselves getting ready to compete together. “HerE WE GOOOOOOOO! ” the presenter remarked. Have fun with @harryjudd with this dude.
Some fans expressed concern that Joel appeared to have hit a stumbling block during the run. One fan wrote in the comments section of his Instagram post: “Lost your tracking at mile 15. Hope you finished OK.”
Another fan, who was also tracking the star, wrote, “What happened Joel! After 15 miles, your chip failed to recognize anything. “I’m hoping you’re okay,”
Harry had been successfully raising money for the Children’s Trust before beginning the challenge. He had raised more than $100,000. Before the race even began, he also used social media.

During the lockdown, Diggee Rascal revealed that he chose to retrain as a plasterer and that he was not recognized by his fellow students until the course was over.
During lockdown, Dizzee Rascal re-trained as a plasterer.
He has five No.1 singles under his belt but it seems Dizzee Rascal felt the need to explore a new career path, while during the pandemic. Dizzee has now that he signed up to train as a plasterer during lockdown.
The 40-year-old rapper explained why he spent £1,495 on lockdown to learn a new skill and quickly rose to fame as a well-known grime artist among his peers at the height of his fame.
After finishing the course, Dizzee, who is known as Dylan Mills, received a certificate certifying that he is a qualified plasterer.
The Kent-based Able Skills Construction Training program trained the music artist. He recently stated to Fix Radio, “I did a plastering course for however long.” I received the certificate and everything, but I forgot how to do it.
He continued, “Yes, for some reason I felt like I needed to learn to do things during the pandemic.” It was wicked because of its sizeable skills.
You’d think he would be easily recognized given his high profile as a rapper. However, it appears that some of the course’s participants didn’t realize who he was until the very end.

He continued, “Toward the end, there were a couple of dudes I’ve been with for weeks.” They responded with “Hey, my God, it’s you, hey man, he’s rich, and he’s famous.” When they clocked it, right at the end.
As he returned to the stage last year as part of a UK tour, it appears as though his interest in plastering was clearly a hobby rather than a career change. This marked the 15th anniversary of Tongue n Cheek, his studio album, was released.
Following the release of Boy in Da Corner, Dizzee made his debut in the UK music scene in 2003.
Speaking to the Mirror last year, Dizzee opened up about why having a hefty bank balance isn’t important to him. He explained: “If I’m honest, you learn to appreciate it as you go along. It’s harder in the music industry, it’s easier in some ways and harder in some ways.
I appreciate the work I put in when I was younger. I kept working through my first album until I was 18 when I first heard it, and I’m grateful now. Fans have been a constant source of support for me for a long time. Although it sounds like an anticlimax, I just get on with it and keep going.
He said, “You can’t argue 20 years since my first album and the two years I spent underground,” as he discussed the changes in the music industry. The game “every few years, the game changes,” Diggee continued. He continued, “At this point, I’m not even paying attention to how much money I get from the music.”
“That’s the big thing for today, I’m just really pleased that I’ve got the fan engagement,” said one fan. “I love the live shows, especially around the UK; I get to see parts of the country that you would never get to see other than from a show. Not for the money, I’d accept some festivals just to see that region of the country.
He continued, “The one thing about live performances is that you bring the music to life” and that his live performances “inspire them to be rappers or performers” as well. I was one of the first live shows some kids saw after the pandemic, he continued.

However, Dizzee, who frequently avoids the media, said: “At the beginning, I never wanted to be out there; I remember not wanting to go to my first video shoot, I didn’t want to be in it. I made it clear that not being in it made sense, but I’ve always wanted to let the music do the talking.
I didn’t take away from that because I hadn’t engaged in excessive antics outside of it. He acknowledges that some musicians also enjoy playing the game.
