Emma Heming Willis has spoken candidly about life with Bruce Willis as he continues to live with frontotemporal dementia (FTD), a condition he was diagnosed with in 2023.

Emma shared how her husband’s resemblances still shine through in a heartfelt update in an emotional interview with Diane Sawyer ahead of the ABC special Emma &amp, Bruce Willis: The Unexpected Journey.

She said, “We have moments.” “Is that his laugh, then?” Like, he laughs so heartily and, you’re aware, I sometimes get transported because of the twinkle in his eye or the grin. “And it’s just hard to see because (snaps fingers) it goes,” Emma paused before confessing through tears. That’s hard”.

Around 50, 000 Americans live with FTD, which is frequently difficult to identify, according to the special, which was premiered on Good Morning America on Tuesday. Emma, Demi Moore, his ex-wife, and his children were jarring and perplexed by Bruce’s transition from his warm, outgoing self to someone who was emotionally distant.

Emma recalled that “He felt a little removed, very cold, and not like Bruce.” “Who is very affectionate and warm. It was terrifying and frightening to go the exact opposite of that.

Bruce’s devoted wife, who is now his full-time caregiver, acknowledged that the diagnosis was a long one. Emma described hearing the term “frontotemporal dementia” for the first time, “and I was so panicked.” “I don’t recall hearing anything else, just hearing it.” I felt as though I was falling into a free fall.

When questioned about whether Bruce had ever fully understood what was happening to him, she sneered and said, “I don’t believe Bruce connected the dots.” Since then, Emma has taken over Bruce’s full-time care. The Die Hard legend also has three adult daughters, Rumer, 37, Scout, 34, and Tallulah, 31, along with ex-wife Demi Moore, and Mabel, 13, and Evelyn, 11, respectively.

Emma claims Bruce continues to be physically healthy despite the enormous challenges she disclosed in the health update about him. Bruce continues to be “very mobile.” You’re aware that Bruce is in excellent overall health. His brain is only failing him, not him.

The actor, age 70, has discovered new ways to stay connected with him as his ability to speak declines. We can communicate with him in a completely different, unique way, she said. “But I’m appreciative. My husband’s presence is greatly appreciated.

In February of this year, Bruce was formally diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD). His family made the announcement in March 2022 that he was stepping down from acting because of aphasia, a condition that affects language and communication.

Following further evaluation, the diagnosis was changed to FTD, a more advanced and specific neurodegenerative disorder.

The Unexpected Journey, starring Bruce Willis and Emma &, will debut on ABC on September 9.

Miley Cyrus pays touching tribute to late Paula Yates with latest look

Miley Cyrus wore some of the late singer’s most well-known clothing during a recent cover photo shoot honoring Pixie Geldof’s late mother, Paula Yates.

Miley Cyrus paid a touching tribute to the late Paula Yates in a recent shoot. The Flowers singer wore items of Paula’s wardrobe, including a green floral print dress for the cover of Perfect magazine.

Pixie Geldof claimed that her mother would enjoy it. She said the dress brought back happy memories of sluggish family Sundays while telling the emotive story behind the images.

She credited “any of my mothers’ archives for the first time.” However, this family loves Miley. So I responded, “of course,” when Katy Grand (Perfect editor) inquired. What I love about the cover is this stunning everyday dress that was worn on sleepy Sundays, not at big party-style events, and it carried Katie and Miley’s essence for them.

The emotional statement continued, “I don’t think there is anyone in her archive who I would want to see more than Miley, another fiercely talented, kind, and hilarious powerhouse.”

Paula, a 41-year-old TV presenter and writer, overdosed with heroin in 2000. The mother-of-four enjoyed working with musicians Bob Geldof and Michael Hutchence and appeared on The Big Breakfast on the big screen.

Miley and Pixie have a long friendship. Miley and Pixie have been photographed on nights out together and have been spotted at Miley’s shows.

It comes eleven years after Peaches Geldof died and the late star adored her mum, Paula Yates, who passed years earlier in tragically similar circumstances. The bubbly Big Breakfast star died in 2000, aged 41, after a heroin overdose – 14 years before Peaches’ own life was cut tragically short.

The mum-of-two, who also died from an overdose aged just 25, never got over losing Paula, who was herself heartbroken when her partner, INXS star Michael Hutchence, died by suicide in 1997, aged 37.

Before she was discovered dead at her home in Kent in 2014, Peaches even shared a heartbreaking final photo of herself with her mother.

In a tragic example of history repeating itself, the model’s death left her father, Bob Geldof, bereft.

Perhaps Peaches’ adolescence would turn out to be challenging. Much to the shock of her father, Paula started drinking and using drugs after her death.

Yes, I ate drugs, I guess. Yes, I’ve had experiences, but some of them were unpleasant and not ones I want to repeat. “I was growing up,” she told the Spectator before adding, “I wanted the experience.”

In a tragic final interview, Peaches claimed that she had to accept the loss of Paula only after giving birth to sons Astala and Phaedra in 2012 and 2013.

The young mother told the young mother in a conversation with Aga Living magazine that she thought her TV presenter mother was “living through me every single time because we are so similar.”

She said, “I’m not sure I’ve made peace with my childhood, but I’ve come to terms with everything with my mother,” explaining how her sons had given her a new understanding of the world.

The Geldof family was shaken by another tragedy just months later, when it appeared as though history had already repeated itself.

Meghan Markle’s ‘strong’ determination as she launches second Netflix series

As the Duchess of Sussex launches her second With Love, Meghan, series with global streaming service Netflix, the Duchess of Sussex has been hailed as “strong” and “resilient.”

The Duchess of Sussex has left people divided over her latest, With Love, Meghan series(Image: Netflix)

As ever, Meghan Markle made an immediate impact as she dropped her latest Netflix series today. The return of With Love, Meghan sees the actress-turned-lifestyle influencer’s unique style of aspirational hostessing come to life at the California home she shares with Prince Harry and their two children alongside a host of celebrity guests.

Some people detest it, while others can’t get enough. One thing is certain: It’s unheard of. Many called the first season of her television show “frivolous” and “pointless,” and she called it As Ever. However, the show still received tens of millions of views, and people are clamoring for her flower sprinkles and jam in droves.

Meghan, who was unfazed by the criticism, continued to produce series two, earning a second, multi-million-pound contract from Netflix. What makes Meghan therefore invincible? After years of being subjected to scrutiny, royal commentator Afua Hagan claims she is “resilient to the hilt” and isn’t trying to win over critics with her ventures.

People “absolutely love Meghan,” she said, so whatever she does, they’ll beg and enjoy it. “And there are people who despise her whole, so they will watch it to express their disapproval.” But she maintains her position. In the face of all this criticism, she is unwaveringly resilient. She simply proceeds with it because she is convinced of her actions.

Harry and Meghan are just moving on with their lives, they say. She is strong, determined, and truly believes in what she is doing.

Fans can now see Meghan re-open the doors to her Montecito home in the second season, where she discusses making cooked breakfast for Harry, Archie, six, and Lilibet, four, and reveals that Harry said “I love you” first on their third date in Botswana.

Harry and the kids don’t appear while family is having a conversation. Tan France, a model and TV personality, and other famous people join her for the work in the kitchen, including her husband, Queer Eye For The Straight Gig.

From crafting to cooking, Meghan leans up to being the hostess with the mostess. Former BBC Royal Correspondent Jennie Bond says Meghan’s approach may not be to everyone’s taste, but she’s playing to her strengths and that’s something to be admired. “It’s a lifestyle program – it’s light, it’s frothy, it brings a bit of fun, a little bit of joy,” Jennie gives her verdict.

You are aware of what? She may have some useful advice, in my opinion. Making things look presentable is a key component of cooking. We shouldn’t continue to criticize her for that, in my opinion. The show is what it is; it isn’t acting like anything else. Has she rebalanced her opinion? I don’t believe so because, I’m afraid, I believe Meghan is Marmite. or spread jam. People either adore or despise her. However, I believe that she is demonstrating that she is still doing what she did before, which is quite reasonable and fairly professional.

Afua Hagan, the royal commentator, praised Meghan for being
Afua Hagan, the royal commentator, praised Meghan for being “strong.”

“With The Tig, she was a pretty early influencer, before she married Harry.” Five years on from Megxit, which saw Harry and Meghan step back as working members of the Royal family and move to the US, the pair have built a new life out there as a family. LA-born Meghan is back on home soil and Jennie says that comfort has emboldened her.

She claims Harry is content to take a backseat and concentrate on his philanthropy, claiming that the two have forged a common interest. She moaned, “I think she’s probably feeling much stronger now that she’s spoken her own kind of California speak,” and that she’s speaking French. Because of where she was, she is more grounded, happier, and resilient, and she is dealing with things more effectively.

They are currently “going their own way,” he said. Meghan is doing this, and Harry has made a conscious step back. Harry wasn’t the person who had the most influence on the celebrity social media platform. He is engaged in activities that he felt compelled to do in his earlier life, and they are essentially royal.

Because he detests cameras, he said, “It’s odd that someone tried to make television programs, be in front of or even behind the camera, be associated with cameras in any way.” He experiences PTSD as a result of a camera sound. Therefore, I believe he would fare much better campaigning if he had more freedom to do so.

You recall him yelling his tongue out at the photographers while he was driving? Although I believe it was a joke at the time, I believe he has always found it difficult to focus on him with all these lenses. Why, then, would you prefer them to point their way at your kids? Fans may be disappointed that young Archie and Lilibet are absent, but Jennie says it’s important for the pair to keep the kids safe as they age.

As with Catherine and William, giving them some sort of sense of normality or privacy must be in their minds. We’ve seen a little bit more of them than we used to. I guess Harry would prefer that they be kept as far as possible, though. They might become uneasy about it. You consider Harry to be uncomfortable and how uncomfortable he was. Do you recall him yelling his tongue out at the photographers while he was in a car? Although I believe it was a joke at the time, I believe he has always found it difficult to focus on him with all these lenses. Why, then, would you prefer them to point their way at your kids?

Meghan shared her heartache over leaving Archie and Lilibet when they and Harry traveled to the UK in a moving moment during the series. After being separated from them for three weeks after their trip to see Queen Elizabeth’s funeral, Meghan claimed she was “not well” so they could attend her funeral. According to Afua, Meghan’s side will appeal to people.

She said, “She loves her kids.” She considers them to be her greatest accomplishment. So I believe it offers an intriguing look at the time and how challenging it must have been for everyone at the time. I think it’s a good thing she’s talking about that, and I think many mothers will understand how challenging it is to be away from your kids.

Taylor Swift’s fairytale engagement dress is still in stock– but not for long

Taylor’s engagement dress is already being sought after in .

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce sealed the deal with a number of exquisitely captured garden photos that resemble those from a Disney film in what could be the most stylish and undoubtedly the most anticipated engagement announcement of the year. We also have to admire her choice of outfit for the occasion, even though we can’t quite look past the size of the engagement ring (wow).

The striped silk-blend Ralph Lauren dress, which is surprisingly still available on the company’s UK website, is undoubtedly not for long. The flowing A-line skirt and mocked bodice make for a statement-worthy halterneck sundress that immediately appeared in Taylor’s (and soon-to-be our) wardrobes.

It’s a signature Taylor style that’s available right now through Ralph Lauren, where you can still get it in XXS to XL before it disappears. However, the focus is not just on the dress. Taylor’s other wedding outfit details are equally elegant. Her warm brown sandals are from Louis Vuitton, her watch appears to be a Cartier Santos Demoiselle, which is thought to be priced at £12,600, and we’d assume she is wearing a lipstick that is similar to the one she’s been using to promote her new book, The Life of a Showgirl, which is thought to be Nars’ Lipstick in Morocco, which is also on sale. Travis’ cable-knit Ralph Lauren polo perfectly complements Taylor’s wardrobe.

We are all aware of Swift’s dress-up trend, which is sold-out clothing. The “Swift Effect” has already caused global searches for her outfit, with Harrods’ website and US websites already selling out of the dress.

However, if you can’t afford to splash out £385, it’s a dress you can copy for less. River Island’s Pleated Bodice Bandeau Midaxi Dress on Very’s website costs £32 and has a similar stripe print and ruched bodice. Missguided’s Strapless Striped Midi Dress With Smocked Bodice is also a bargain at £11.16 and gives a Taylor-like look. For a bit more money, Faithfull’s Sofie Maxi Dress Hanne Gingham Espresso is £250 and has the same floaty skirt and cinched waist design.

Liz Hurley’s shocking inheritance plan as she hints she won’t leave son any money

In the newest episode of The Inheritance, model and actress Liz Hurley plays a deceased woman, but she has indicated that she won’t leave her son any money.

In a brand-new reality game show, Liz Hurley portrays a wealthy benefactor who faces questions as to who will inherit her fortune.

But in real life, the 60-year-old actress hopes her loved ones blow their money on themselves before they die and leave her nothing. Which, sadly for her son Damian, is what she might do herself.

Liz, 60, who stars in Channel 4 series The Inheritance with Rob Rinder, talks of her feelings about bequests, saying: “I have a set of tiny porcelain coffee cups which belonged to my favourite great aunt – I think of her with every espresso.

However, I want everyone I love to leave feeling empty after making the most of their time. I’m not trying to inherit anything in vain. She says, “I mean what makes you think I believe in passing anything on? “On the subject of her 23-year-old son’s inheritance. You never know when I might leave on an empty stomach.

Liz hinted her son might not be left any cash when she dies

Liz portrays a opulent benefactor in the film The Inheritance who has left video messages for the audience after the players pass away.

In a fierce competition for a share of her fortune, thirteen strangers are entombed inside a stately residence. Players must work together to complete a number of challenges in order to receive money from The Inheritance. More money is released the better they perform. I’ve been dead on screen a few times, Liz says, but I can’t recall ever lying in a coffin. Actually, it was very restful, which I really enjoyed.

She’s essentially known that she was dying, and she video-taped a lot of herself for the contestants to see her so she could harangue them from the grave. I find it so campy to record yourself on camera.

“I mean, I may do it myself. Just stash something in the cloud.” Overseeing the stipulations of The Deceased’s will is her executor, Robert Rinder, the criminal barrister who fronted the ITV show Judge Rinder.

Liz joked that she may have spent her cash

Liz says: “I’ve enjoyed working with Rob very much. I was a fan of his anyway. We’ve followed each other on Instagram. He’s great. I really like him, he’s fabulous.

Because I’m “dead,” we didn’t actually collaborate on this. I don’t actually have any live action because all of mine is pre-recorded. However, we were together on the set.

Although it makes me sound very shallow, I enjoyed the costumes and my lead character. Although she’s not me, there are some similarities there. I don’t believe she suffers a lot.

She pre-recorded these instructions, I thought was quite amusing. She then pre-recorded herself walking through her estate, which I found quite amusing. Actually, I think it’s quite a nice thing to do. It may inspire people, in my opinion.

Liz admits that she wasn’t very interested when the producers first approached her. She claims that at first, she didn’t fully comprehend it. For me to catch up, they had to speak slowly and clearly for a while. My character wasn’t particularly glamorous on the first graphic deck; she was probably 110 years old.

“But they changed that, then added Robert and this stately home into the mix and I thought it was fabulous. I watched an episode of The Traitors and I couldn’t have loved it more. I thought, actually, yes, this sounds amazing. What a fantastic thing to do in the summer.

Although this game may have some echoes, it still feels fresh, original, and like the start of a real human experiment.

Liz, who was previously married to Arun Nayar and dated Shane Warne and Hugh Grant, has a new romance with country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, 64.

Since they announced their relationship in April, they have been seen eating pub fare together in Ledbury, Herefordshire, close to Liz’s £6 million manor. They have also attended red carpet parties, including the one for The Inheritance, and have been photographed drinking beer there.

Liz states, “Billy and I haven’t had much time off this summer. Great to see both of his daughters, Miley and Noah, play in London. He offers a lot of support, which is nice.

“I’ve adopted two tortoises, and I’ve become somewhat bird-watching.” Goshawks have just been seen. They are incredible. Very uncommon, indeed. In the UK, there are only 1, 000 nesting pairs. She boasts sarcastically that her rural life is “very interesting.” Wild . every night parties.

Liz chose the perfect setting to film The Inheritance in the countryside. She says, “It was absolutely gorgeous. It was a pleasure to attend. The weather was fantastic and it was early summer.

She has also described how she enjoys cutting hedges to stay fit. She claims, “I don’t work out at the gym, but I do make a lot of effort and frequently.” I don’t actually sit down.

I enjoy being myself. Although I enjoy eating, I’ve always been a proponent of avoiding processed foods. It’s all about being productive, taking good care of yourself, and being active.

Stuart Pebble dead: Grumpy Old Men creator dies aged 74 after cancer battle

Stuart Prebble, the influential television figure behind the BBC hit Grumpy Old Men and a former chief executive at ITV, has died at 74. His family confirmed the news, revealing he had been battling pancreatic cancer.

Prebble’s passing has prompted an outpouring of tributes from across the broadcasting world, with many reflecting on his creative legacy and journalistic brilliance.

Among the first to honour him was political broadcaster Michael Crick, who wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “One of the most distinguished TV journalists of modern times”.

Others also took to social media to share their memories and admiration. One tribute praised Prebble as “a really talented, inspiring and creative TV executive, who was able to navigate very tricky fast changing times. Sad news”.

Another wrote: “One of Britain’s best TV journalists, editors, investigators and original minds: fabulous sense of humour has died. RIP Stuart Prebble: Editor of World in Action and creator of Grumpy Old Men and @sky Landscape Artist”.

Prebble’s journalism career launched with a scoop most reporters could only dream of while he was still a university student in 1972. As Wings, Paul McCartney’s post-Beatles band, toured UK campuses with unannounced gigs, they turned up in Newcastle, where Stuart was working on the student paper, The Courier.

“I looked in the back of the van and there was Paul McCartney”, he recalled. Despite it being a Sunday and the Student Union being closed, Stuart found a workaround: “I told them the Student Union was closed on a Sunday but that they might be able to play in the canteen”.

Stuart has died at the age of 74

He helped set up the show, where 400 students paid 50p each to hear McCartney’s new material – netting Stuart a front-page story and an unforgettable byline.

That early break marked the beginning of a wide-ranging career. After five years at the BBC, he moved to Granada and became a central figure at World in Action, a hard-hitting current affairs show known for, as he once put it, “righting wrongs, taking on the establishment and uncovering dodgy dealings of one kind or another”.

In 2001, he took the reins as ITV’s chief executive but left after the collapse of ITV Digital, which he also led. He later created Grumpy Old Men, a cultural phenomenon that gave famous men a platform to rant about everyday frustrations.

Famous people included Rick Wakeman, Bob Geldof, John Peel, and Jeremy Clarkson. The hit spin-off Grumpy Old Women, in which Ann Widdecombe, Janet Street-Porter, and Germaine Greer all air their own societal grievances, was the success of its popularity.
