In the Amazon sale (Amazon), the Cloud Nine The Wide Iron Hair Straightener Gift Set is only 32% off.

This set, which includes a travel case and wide iron straighteners, would ordinarily cost customers a steep sum of money, but as this deal is in effect, it can be purchased for just £148.

Fans of Frankie Bridge will be able to identify this gem from the singer’s numerous social media posts. She isn’t the only one voicing her love for the Cloud Nine straighteners, which have amassed an impressive 4.8 out of 5 stars from over 1000 Amazon reviewers.

This styling wonder is equipped with healing mineral-infused plates that seal the cuticle and retain moisture for shinier results after every use and can be styled at temperatures between 100 and 200°C.

These straighteners feature wide plates that cover more hair, making them quick, easy, and ideal for those who don’t want to waste time styling their locks in the morning. They are also designed to be kinder to styling bigger, thicker, and longer hair.

Coming with a black, silken, heat-resistant Style Case worth £25 and a protective heat guard with the straightener, this gift set makes a great gift for a loved one seeking to gift a celeb-approved hair styling gadget this Christmas, or it makes a top treat for yourself this holiday season.

One 5-star reviewer beams, “I was originally going to buy ghd’s, but I like to always filter through the reviews first, and someone recommended the cloud nine straighteners,” and other customers have quickly joined Frankie in expressing their love for this gem. I’d not heard of this brand before, especially as I haven’t used heat styling on my hair in years. However, I must admit that these are unquestionably the best straighteners I’ve owned. Weird… but I don’t straighten with them, I use them to give my hair a soft curl (I personally find it easier curling with a flat iron) and I’m very impressed. My hair is lovely and soft and shiny.

Another satisfied customer gushes: “If anyone is looking to invest in great straighteners, these are a great choice. I’ve used top-notch straighteners for years, but none are ever quite as good as these. I haven’t had them in less than a week, but what a difference they have made to my hair and amp. My hair appears to have just come out of a salon and that they glide through my hair, which will allow me to have full head of hair in 15 minutes. I love the wider plates. They are amazing &amp, also give my hair a great shine. The extra money I paid for them is well worth it. In addition, they heat up within 20 seconds”.

And a third shares: “AMAZING… These are, without a doubt, better than any straightener I have ever used, GHD included! Other straighteners were ineffective and damaging like running two large rocks through your hair by rubbing them together to create some heat. The price, though not cheap, is reflective of the quality of the product. Purchase these without a doubt. I personally guarantee you will not be disappointed”.

Save £71 on Amazon by purchasing a pair of straighteners that Frankie Bridge and over 1, 000 other Amazon customers adore.

In other hair-related news, those looking for alternatives can purchase a set of GHD wide iron straighteners from Lookfantastic for £299. This Bellissima Italia 4XL hair straightener from Boots can be purchased for less than £99.99 this festive season for those who are on a tight budget.

Prince Harry releases moving message on ‘feeling sad at Christmas’

During a special appearance at a festive party, Prince Harry discussed how he felt sad and reflective at Christmas.

The Duke of Sussex, wearing a Santa hat, told bereaved military children “it’s OK to feel however you feel at Christmas” as he joined 280 young people for a virtual festive party hosted by the charity Scotty’s Little Soldiers. He participated in a Q&A session and also shared a special message of support for bereaved children who are experiencing mixed emotions this holiday season.

Harry said: “It’s OK to feel however you feel at Christmas. Some people will be celebrating and happy, other people feel reflective, some people will be sad, and maybe you’ll experience every single one of these emotions and that’s absolutely fine. Remember, you’ve got each other, you’ve got Scotty’s and you’ve got the people that love you”.

The duke, who was a solo participant in the online event, is a global ambassador for the charity that assists young people who have lost a parent who served in the British Armed Forces. Additionally, the children engaged in a number of interactive games, including making snowmen out of toilet rolls and building towers out of cushions.

Bethan, a 23-year-old member of Scotty’s, joined Harry in answering the Q&amp, A session. Her father, Warrant Officer Class 2 David Coomber, who served in the Royal Corps of Signals in the British Army, died in 2011 when she was nine. Bethan said: “It was great to have so many members of Scotty’s together. Everyone enjoyed the games, which made them feel more engaged. I had a genuine emotional connection with Prince Harry.

Prince Harry made it clear that he understood what we have all been through and that it’s normal to experience a mix of emotions despite the party being upbeat and not in any way sombre. He also made it abundantly clear to us that he is proud to support us and a member of the Scotty’s community, which is very important.

Nikki Scott, who founded Scotty’s in 2010, following the death of her husband Corporal Lee Scott in Afghanistan, said:” Christmas can be a difficult time for bereaved children and young people, but this event reminded our members that they are part of a community that cares and understands. “

She added:” We also find that after events, families are more likely to get in touch and ask for help if they are struggling. We provide a range of services, including 1: 1 bereavement support sessions, which can significantly affect a family and could prevent a family from reaching a crisis point.

In 2024, Scotty’s reported supporting more than 730 bereaved military personnel and young people, and the organization estimates that each year, around 200 children are newly bereaved of their parents. Prince Harry has long been a fervent supporter of Scotty’s, according to Ms. Scott, and having him at our virtual Christmas party made it truly special and memorable for our members.

Lauryn Goodman shares heartbreaking update about son Kai’s opinion of dad Kyle Walker

Lauryn Goodman, 33, has opened up about the relationship footballer Kyle Walker, 34, shares with their eldest child.

The couple welcomed son Kairo, four, in 2020, followed by a daughter Kinara, one, in 2023. News of Kyle’s children shocked fans, seeing as the Man City star has been in a relationship with Annie Kilner since 2010, and they tied the knot in 2022 but are now in the process of divorcing. Kyle and Annie have four children of their own, and rumours suggest he’s focusing on his kids with Annie while letting Kairo and Kinara fall by the wayside.

“I’m hopeful their dad will come back to them and continue to build his relationship with them”, Lauryn told Closer during a new interview about her family dynamic. However, she then added that Kyle might be running out of time to form bonds with his kids, especially older Kairo – nickname Kai – who is “starting to understand now”.

Lauryn said that her son Kai was at the age that he’s stopped ‘ believing her excuses ‘ about why dad Kyle isn’t present (Instagram)

She shared that Kai was ‘ asking for his daddy, ‘ and realising it was Kyle’s ‘ choice ‘ to stay away (PA)

The Celebs Go Dating star explained: “He asks for his daddy and he’s starting to realise maybe it’s his choice… I always say that Daddy is busy playing football, but he’s not believing my excuses anymore”. Lauryn added her hopes that “all” involved could “move forward and do what’s right for all the children”, and said she had “faith” that the right thing could be done for her kids.

Despite sharing her hopes that everyone could build bridges for the children involved in her love triangle, Lauryn recently hinted that she still had beef with Annie. Appearing on podcast Yours Sincerely, she told co-host Lisa Andrews: “I did get a message today saying that comments are being liked on her page about her apparently brainwashing my children”.

She asked: “Can we touch on that? Come off it, what am I brainwashing my child about? Do I ever… You’re here, and you’re around me so much. I don’t bring up his dad to him, do I?

” We literally get on with our lives. We are a little family unit. It’s just crazy that people think I’m just sitting there trying to get him to rehearse stuff or whatever. What good would that do my child? I’m all about how my child is going to feel in the future. “

Lauryn continued:” These are things his dad are going to have to deal with in the future because Kairo and Kinara will 100% want to ask him some questions. I don’t think the answers he’ll give will be good enough because they’ll be able to see through him and that’s my personal opinion. “The Mirror have reached out to Annie’s reps for comment.

According to Annie, things are completely different to Lauryn’s representation. It was previously reported that Annie had banned Kyle from seeing his children with Lauryn, however a spokesperson for the mum-of-four told the Mirror:” The idea that Annie has banned Kyle from seeing Lauryn’s children is simply untrue. The way Lauryn has behaved towards Annie and her children has made it impossible for Kyle to forge an emotional relationship with them without protecting the privacy of his own family. Kyle provides for Lauryns children financially and will continue to do so.

“They don’t enjoy the spectacle involving children and are frustrated that Lauryn continues to play it out so publicly without thought for the feelings of all the young ones involved”.

Rhod Gilbert left with long-term condition after devastating cancer battle

Even though he credits himself as one of the fortunate ones, Rhod Gilbert has admitted that he is still dealing with some health issues as a result of his ordeal with cancer.

The comedian was diagnosed with stage four head and neck cancer back in 2022, after suffering from symptoms such as, a sore throat, a persistent cough, struggles with swallowing, and choking.

The 56-year-old received the all-clear last year after receiving radiotherapy and chemotherapy at Cardiff’s Velindre Cancer Centre, and has since had regular ENT camera exams every six months.

Sharing an exclusive update about his health post-cancer, Rhod said while he’s in a much better place, he still has problems in his neck, throat and mouth area, as well as issues with his taste.

“I’ve tried to cut down on booze, I gave up smoking, but years ago I gave up smoking anyway”, he shared of his lifestyle post-cancer. “I guess I’m a little more conscious than I was then, but cancer also places you in an odd place where you want to snag life in the short and curlies.”

The comedian continued, saying he particularly feels “very lucky” that most of his taste has returned, but that some things still taste “weird.”

He was also fed through a machine for eight months, which included having trouble swallowing at the time. “With head and neck cancer, quite often, everything tastes disgusting with head and neck, even water, even a cup of tea, everything is disgusting”, he explained.

“Not now, but I’m still left with some problems, so tea still tastes a bit odd, lots of things taste weird still. My taste is almost, sort of 80 per cent back to normal, my swallowing is pretty good, but at the time, you can’t swallow and everything tastes disgusting.

” Food is horrible, I mean you’re being fed by a machine straight into your stomach, with head and neck cancer quite often, because you can’t swallow as it’s too painful. “

The comedian is currently on INSTAGRAM in the UK and Ireland.

According to Macmillan, losing your taste can be a side effect to radiotherapy. You might lose your taste buds or discover that everything tastes the same, according to the website. Typically, the taste is salty or metallic. Your sense of taste should recover, but it may take many months for this to happen. “

Rhod said he was surprised by how good he felt while performing for his Rhod Gilbert and The Giant Grapefruit tour despite the still-existing issues.

He continued:” I feel great, my energy levels are good and I’m just really happy to be up there. I can’t believe really quite how well I feel, I’ve got problems in my neck, throat area and my mouth area, but other than that, I feel great. “

Up until November 2025, Rhod is currently playing over 130 dates at locations throughout the UK and Ireland. Here are tour information and tickets.
