Katie Price breaks silence as she issues comeback to ex Peter Andre

Katie Price has issued her own statement following her ex-husband Peter Andre’s bombshell claims. The former glamour model, 47, shares her two children, Junior, 20, and Princess, 18, with Peter.

They split in 2009, and all contact between them ended as they navigated co-parenting. This week, things heated up between the exes following a series of claims as Princess launched her own ITV2 series.

Peter claimed there have been “repeated lies” from Katie and her family and he said he chose to say silent for 16 years. It comes after daughter Princess says she’s ‘independent’ from parents as she breaks silence after Katie row.

Now, Katie has issued her own response as she took to Instagram where she said: “Saints and Sinners. As we know, in this life we are thought of as Saints and Sinners.

“I know I will always be seen as a Sinner. That’s fair, I allowed myself to fall into a reliance on drugs and alcohol. At times, I was not the mother I should have been while I struggled with mental illness.

“I have been at times a poor friend, an awful sibling, and an untrustworthy partner. I’ve self-medicated, been unfaithful, damaged myself and those that I love.”

Katie added: “I’ve had my reasons – I was sexually abused when younger; had relationships that have been coercive; and my mental health issues – but I don’t want to make excuses. I’ve recognised my issues and worked to put them behind me.

“Sometimes | tried and failed, sometimes I succeeded. I’ve pulled myself out of a suicidal spiral because I love my children and want to be there for them. I don’t pretend to be perfect by any means – but I’m trying to be the best I can.”

She continued: “Then there are the ‘Saints’. Some are genuine and some have helped me. But some Saints are not who they would have you believe they are. They have a carefully managed image which must be exhausting to maintain.

“Some Saints are fake. They play the victim and to succeed in life they need a villain…or at least a Sinner. Without the Sinner they don’t get to be the Saint…

“As a Sinner – I sometimes get bored of these Saints. But maybe I should feel sorry for them, It must be such hard work having to pretend all the time. Anyway, all you Sinners keep your heads up and keep trying to be better. All you Saints, it’s ok not to be perfect.”

Yesterday, Peter issued his own statement as he raged: “For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today.

“The latest comments about my children’s welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood.

“In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement.” He went on: “I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children. In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases found my ex-wife had made false claims.

“She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today.

“Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months.”

Following Peter’s post, a spokesperson for Katie told the Mirror: “Kate is in a much better and clear headspace and is at peace with the situation, this was in the past and she doesn’t feel the need to bring up tit for tat comments, but more importantly she’s dealing with this the right way and it’s now in her lawyers hands. Kate will no longer be gaslight and bullied as she once was…”

Princess also spoke out for the first time as she answered a question about her parents on Snapchat. One fan asked her on the platform: “Does it affect you even now when your mum and dad don’t get on?’

Princess then said in a video on the platform: “To be honest, it doesn’t affect me. At the end of the day, they broke up when I was two years old so I don’t even have any memory of them being together.” Writing on top of the clip, she added: “I love my mum and dad and that’s all that matters xxx.”

Love Island’s Blu Chegini says he’s ‘not a women hater’ as he teases All Stars return

Blu Chegini has responded to backlash following his time on the latest series of Love Island as it hasn’t stopped him from wanting to return for the All Stars series

Love Island star Blu Chegini has insisted he is not a “woman hater” as he hits back at claims from his time in the villa. During his time on the ITV2 dating show, he ruffled feathers with his behaviour.

He turned up as an original star on the latest series and was initially coupled up with Alima. The pair quickly established they were in a friendship couple, and Blu made a beeline for Shakira, even sharing a kiss in the hideaway.

However, days into the series, he was dumped in dramatic scenes when he had to go head-to-head with Shea. It comes after one huge TV star looks completely unrecognisable as she reveals latest facelift

Blu’s Love Island journey wasn’t over, though, as he strolled back into the villa last month. He attracted backlash during his time on the show due to how he acted towards Alima.

Having said he wasn’t interested in her because she was not his “type,” Blu was labelled dismissive and even racist by some viewers. He later addressed the claims, stating he didn’t have a type and his comment was misinterpreted.

Now, Blu has hit back again as he said: “I am not a woman hater. I was paired up with Alima. I didn’t see a connection with her. I’m now being called a racist because she is a black girl.

He added: “I got backlash for saying Alima wasn’t my type, I wasn’t her type either. She didn’t get backlash.” Blu continued: “Maya Jama was cold towards me because I was opinionated, or maybe the whole Alima controversy has turned her off me.

“I am now working on communication, personal development. I was angry in the show, I struggle with English as I was schooled in Spain.” Blu went on to insist: “I love women, I have respect for women. I couldn’t play the villain card; it’s not in my nature.

“If I could have chosen other girls in the first four days, it would have been Meg, Megan or Shakira.” Speaking of the other girls to Simon Gross on Get Gossy With Grossy, he explained: “I don’t have a connection with Helena.

“Gabby is my type. We might go on a date.” Blu explained that he wouldn’t say no to appearing on Love Island All Stars as previous contestants head to the South African villa for a second chance at finding love.

“I would do All Stars if I was still single but it be my third or fourth time. I can’t do what Casey [O’Gorman] did. We will see.” Blu said of the Islanders’ decision at the time of his dumping: “We asked them for their point of view as we were both really stubborn in that situation. We weren’t going to budge, so we had to get them to make the decision.

“I felt like I had a stronger bond with everyone in there, obviously, I’d been there a bit longer. I was constantly trying to make a connection and exploring everyone. I was making moves as quickly as I could, as opposed to Shea, who was a bit more laid back.

“Everyone had their own thoughts. But listen, someone’s got to go at the end of the day. The way it went was better than I thought it would have gone; I had some nice things said about me, and that meant a lot to me.”

Peter Andre turned into a real-life superhero when he saved his son Theo from being trapped in a toilet cubicle. The Mysterious Girl singer, 52, who shares eight-year-old Theo with wife Emily, along with daughters Amelia and Arabella, was forced to spring into action during their family holiday in Cyprus.

Peter also has a son, Junior, and a daughter, Princess, from his previous marriage to Katie Price, with whom he is currently at odds.

The drama unfolded while the family were enjoying a visit to Camel Park in Mazotos. Young Theo found himself locked inside a public loo, prompting his dad to take swift action. It comes after Princess Andre says she’s ‘independent’ from parents as she breaks silence after Katie Price row.

In true heroic fashion, Peter clambered up the side of the toilet block and managed to squeeze through an open window at the back. He shared the entire incident on Instagram, narrating the situation whilst sporting a pair of flip-flops.

In the video, he explained: “Right guys, we have a bit of a situation here because these are the toilets. This is the door, it’s completely locked from the inside and the outside, and someone can’t get out.”

He then showed Theo, whose face was blurred for privacy, stuck inside the toilet wearing a T-shirt and shorts. The youngster exclaimed: “It’s boiling in here!”.

Thankfully, Peter was able to get inside the toilet facility and rescue Theo by passing him through the gap. Addressing the crowd, he said: “Ladies and gentlemen there’s always ways to get out of these situations, be careful.”

However, the pop star found himself in a bit of a pickle as he struggled to climb back out of the window. One of his children couldn’t resist teasing him, shouting: “You’re embarrassing us dad!”

The Australian singer turned reality star wasn’t stuck for long and freed himself from the predicament. He clearly found the humour in the situation, writing alongside the clip: “Saved the day and I’m still embarrassing.”

Supporters were quick to praise him, with one posting: “In all seriousness, well done superhero dad [clapping emoji].” Another added: “Good on you, Pete.”

Sean Kingston sentenced to 3.5 years in prison after $1million fraud scheme

Sean Kingston was sentenced in South Florida on Friday after he was convicted of a $1million fraud scheme, along with his mother, Janice Eleanor Turner. The Beautiful Girls singer, born Kisean Paul Anderson, and his mum were convicted of a conspiracy to commit wire fraud and four counts of wire fraud in March.

He has been sentenced to three and a half years behind bars and was taken into custody immediately. U.S. Judge David Leibowitz also ordered that a restitution hearing should be held within 90 days. Kingston’s sentence is to be followed by three years of supervised release.

Leibowitz also sentenced the singer’s mum to five years in prison last month, while Sean’s sentencing was postponed. The case involved the pair falsely claiming to pay for luxury items, including cars, jewellery, and other high-value goods, by pretending to make bank transfers that were never processed. They managed to fraudulently acquire over $1 million worth of goods and money.

Sean and Janice’s trial took place from March 24 to March 28 in Broward County, Florida, and concluded with the jury deliberating for approximately three and a half hours before reaching their verdict, according to reports.

They convicted them of conspiracy and multiple counts of wire fraud. The charges involved defrauding a car dealership out of $160,000 (£123,000) for a Cadillac Escalade, stealing nearly $500,000 (£386,000) worth of jewellery, and obtaining other goods like a custom bed valued at $86,000 (£66,000) without paying for them.

Since the trial, Sean had been under house arrest with an electronic tag and had to pay a bond to be released from jail, while his mother remained in federal custody.

Kingston, 35, and his mother were arrested in May 2024 after a SWAT team raided Kingston’s rented mansion in suburban Fort Lauderdale. Turner was taken into custody during the raid, while Kingston was arrested at Fort Irwin, an Army training base in California’s Mojave Desert, where he was performing.

According to court records, Kingston used social media from April 2023 to March 2024 to arrange purchases of high-end merchandise. After negotiating deals, Kingston would invite the sellers to one of his high-end Florida homes and promise to feature them and their products on social media.

Investigators said that when it came time to pay, Kingston or his mother would text the victims fake wire receipts for the luxury merchandise, which included a bulletproof Escalade, watches and a 19-foot (5.9-meter) LED TV, investigators said.

When the funds never cleared, victims often contacted Kingston and Turner repeatedly, but were either never paid or received money only after filing lawsuits or contacting law enforcement.

Kingston, who was born in Florida and raised in Jamaica, shot to fame at age 17 with the 2007 hit “Beautiful Girls,” which laid his lyrics over Ben E. King’s 1961 song “Stand By Me.” His other hits include 2007’s “Take You There” and 2009’s “Fire Burning.”

Gary Little dead: Comedy icon dies ‘climbing a hill’ aged 61 as tributes pour in

Scottish comedian Gary Little has died aged 61, it has been confirmed. The award-winning comic had previously been heralded as “one of Scotland’s finest comedians”.

His death was confirmed on social media, with it claimed he died while on a hill climb in Scotland. His cause of death has not yet been revealed.

Tributes were quick to pour in following the news. In an Instagram post, comedy club The Stand in Glasgow praised his “huge personality”. They wrote: “We here at The Stand are utterly devastated to hear the news of the passing of big Gary Little. An incredible comic, huge personality and friend to many.

“We are lost for words, and he will be profoundly and sorely missed. Our thoughts go out to all his family and friends right now.

Gary Little died aged 61

“There will be many a comic thinking about him tonight, telling stories and raising a glass. He would have liked that.”

And popular podcast The Some Laugh also shared their condolence. They said: “We’re absolutely gutted to learn of the passing of the legend Gary Little.

“Gary was one of the best stand-ups Scotland has ever produced, an absolute powerhouse of a comedian as well as a genuinely lovely guy with a heart of gold.

“It was a pleasure to learn from someone like Gary as we were all coming up on the comedy scene, and his episode and appearance on our live show are up there with the all-time moments of the pod.”

Comedian Jo Caulfield also took to social media to say: “Gary Little was a great comic and an amazing person to spend time with. I will truly miss not seeing you backstage and never hearing that big mischievous laugh.”

And Glaswegian comedian, Darren Connell added: “Scottish comedy lost a legend today — heart-breaking news. Gary was an absolute powerhouse.

“He hosted my first ever gig when I was 18 years old, and after a shocker of a set, he took me aside and told me to keep my head down, work hard, and not let it get to me.”

Gary was due to perform in Aberdeen next month before his sudden death. Among other topics, his stand-up routines tackled themes of mental health and addiction.

His material saw him talk about his personal experience, including his time in prison. The comic had been jailed in the early 90s following a drug dealing charge.

In 2007, he was briefly jailed again. This time for stealing books at a warehouse where he worked as a forklift truck driver. He is said to have made £100,000 from selling the items on eBay.

He had been due to tour with fellow comedian Raymond Mears later this year.

As well as his comedy shows on stage, he created a four-part stand-up series for BBC Radio 4 in 2024. The show was called Gary Little: At Large and he explored life “before, behind and beyond bars”.

Peter Andre’s ‘final straw’ with Katie Price as his reason for speaking out ‘revealed’

Mysterious Girl hitmaker Peter Andre is said to have felt like he needed to release his bombshell statement on ex wife Katie Price as things had become ‘unbearable’

Peter Andre is said to have reached the final straw with his ex-wife, Katie Price, and decided to release his bombshell statement. The Mysterious Girl hitmaker shares his two children, Junior, 20, and Princess, 18, with former glamour model Katie.

They split in 2009 and continued to co-parent their kids while things remained sour between them as all contacted was burned. Things came to boiling point this week when Peter decided to release a scathing message aimed at mum-of-five Katie.

Their relationship entered the spotlight once again as Princess released her debut solo TV project this month. It comes after Princess said she’s ‘independent’ from parents as she breaks silence after Katie Price row.

Peter raged: “For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating.

Now, it has been claimed Peter “had” to speak out because things in the family had turned “unbearable”. “Katie lies and lies about Pete, she talks about him and tells lies about the kids all the time and he was sick of it,” a source told the Sun.

“The fact is, she went on her podcast and said that Princess lived with her, and that’s just not true. It’s been a really difficult and upsetting time for the family – she’s goading him and constantly speaking about him, and none of it is true.”

Another source added to the publication: “It really affects everyone – it’s hard for Princess as she loves her mum, but it’s just drama and negativity at every turn.”

“Pete would like nothing more than for Katie to never ever speak about him in public ever again, but she won’t stop. He’s kept a dignified silence for so long, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it turns legal, as she’s gone too far now. He just wants a harmonious life for his family.”

On Friday, Princess spoke out for the first time as she answered a question about her parents on Snapchat.

The Mirror has contacted Peter and Katie’s representatives for comment.
