Primark shoppers are going wild for ‘beautiful’ £28 jeans – and the popular style resembles a pricier alternative. Known for offering affordable clothing and accessories, Primark continues to maintain its reputation among high street shoppers. Fashion fans fell in love with the retailer’s Straight Leg Embellished Jeans when they were featured in a viral video by Chloe Mitchell, who posts on TikTok under the username @Glowybychloe.
In a video shared with her 528k followers, Chloe filmed herself searching for the jeans in Primark. She then shared her honest first impression, thinking the jeans looked like they could be from another brand.
Chloe said: “Oh my gosh, they are beautiful. £28, but if they were in Zara or something, I reckon they would be like £50 or £60.” Introducing the jeans on its website, Primark said: “With a mid-rise waist and a straight leg design, these jeans are made from 100% cotton and finished with embellished diamantés!”
Viewers loved the jeans when they reacted to the video, which garnered over 15k likes and numerous comments from excited shoppers. One fan wrote: “Can’t wait to see the try on. They are a lush colour denim.”
A second viewer replied: “Omg I need to run to Primark.” A similar comment said: “I need to find these!!” Meanwhile, another fan commented: “Love.”
Someone else said: “Well I saw some in anthropology that were £138. So this is defo good to know.” A Zara fan added: “Zara do have a lighter wash pair with more diamantés for £50 they are stunning”
The jeans could also impress Next shoppers looking for an alternative to the retailer’s £45 Threadbare Blue Embellished Baggy Wide Leg Jeans. While the pricier jeans could impress Next fans searching for a standout style, the Primark jeans look similar but come with a lower price tag. As such, the Primark style could appeal to shoppers seeking attention-grabbing jeans at a lower price.
There are differences between the two styles, which include the cut of the jeans. Primark opted for a straight-leg style, whereas Next’s jeans are offered in a baggy, wide-leg style. However, the indigo colour of the jeans and the embellished detailing look remarkably similar, and the jeans could be worn with the same outfits.

Introducing the jeans, Next said: “Upgrade your denim with these embellished baggy wide-leg jeans from Threadbare. Baggy wide leg fit. Rhinestone embellishments across the front. Five-pocket design. Metal shank button and zip fastening. Rigid denim.”

Pint-sized popstar Kylie Minogue was on dazzling form as she met Prince William in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Wednesday, for the celeb-filled Earthshot Prize.
The 57-year-old singer – who recently joined the race for the Christmas Number One with brand-new tune XMAS, joined other A-listers at the event, set up by the Prince to help bring about ground-breaking solutions to repair and regenerate the planet across the globe.

Turning heads in a beige tulle mini-dress with cream circular leather cut-outs, matched with a pair of gold heels, the visibly glowing hitmaker looked in good spirits as she posed on the red carpet before meeting the royal.
Kylie’s Rio appearance comes just months after she performed in São Paulo as part of her Tension tour, which was her first performance in the Latin American country for a whopping 17 years.
Prince Wiilliam, who like his father King Charles has long been passionate about climate issues, founded the now world-famous prize back in 2020 to help inspire inventors and entrepreneurs to develop innovative technologies that will fight global warming and help mitigate its impact.
At the event, which saw Prince William look dapper as he recycled a Tom Ford tuxedo and black tie for the event, the heir to the throne was greeted by cheers and lively Samba band and Carnival dancers as he arrived at the museum.
A total of five finalists compete for a £1 million prize each, awarded across five categories, with the funds used to develop their innovative ideas.
A pre-event trailer for the awards entitled Meet the World’s True Action Heroes includes a voiceover by actor Matthew McConaughey and presents the 15 finalists for the prize, who the Prince said he was ‘deeply proud of’ when they were revealed last month.
Performing live at the ceremony alongside singer Shawn Mendes, Kylie said: ‘It’s a privilege and an honour to be part of The Earthshot Prize in Rio – on stage with the people and the ideas that could save our planet.’
Also set to perform are Brazilian music legend and former Minister of Culture Gilberto Gil, rising country star Anitta, and acclaimed singer Seu Jorge.
Hosted by Brazilian broadcaster Luciano Huck, among the award presenters at the show will be sports stars Marcos Evangelista de Morais, AKA Cafu, the ex-Brazilian defender; four-time Formula One world champion Sebastian Vettel, and Txai Surui, who campaigns on behalf of Brazil’s Indigenous communities – as well as the environment.
It is a milestone year for Earthshot, which in 2025 has raised a record £24million in one year, its highest to date, according to accounts filed at Companies House.
Over £23 million of this came in via hefty donations, including £5 million from The American Friends of the Royal Foundation of the Prince and Princes of Wales – William and Catherine’s other charitable organisation.

This year the action takes place in Brazil – last year the glitzy high-profile awards ceremony took place in an eco-dome in Cape Town, South Africa, with the Prince spending four days in the country for a visit billed as Earthshot Week.

In last week’s episode of Celebrity Traitors, Claudia wowed us yet again in a chic, heritage-stlye khaki coat. Viewers were quick to praise the look, with one saying: “The coat, the collar, the colour, exquisite, another styling dream come true.” Whilst another agreed: “The jacket is to die for! The colour and the texture. Want it!” A third said: “The colour, the shape, THE COAT!”
Her stylist Sinead McKeefry posted details of the look, writing “Forever faithful to YSL” hinting that the khaki coat hails from the luxury brand. And whilst Claudia’s exact coat is no longer available to buy – and would probably be out of budget even if it was – don’t despair, because the high street has been delivering some brilliant lookalikes that are much more affordable.

Sharing on Instagram the details of Claudia’s episode five look, Sinead notes that the brown longline coat, which had us all looking at the TV with heart eyes, was from high street favourite Zara. This came as great news to all of Claudia’s fans, who had been asking in the comment section of Sinead’s latest post where they could pick up the jacket from.
You can find the Zara Coat with Combined Leather Effect Collar for £119, which matches the one Claudia is wearing almost exactly. However, we wonder if this is a slightly newer version of the presenter’s jacket, since hers appears to have an added pocket detail. Regardless, after news of this coat’s presence on The Traitors, we doubt it will be in stock for much longer.

Nicole Kidman’s latest rare public appearance saw her land herself in trouble, as she was ‘arrested’.
Nicole attended a Sabrina Carpenter concert in Nashville and was in for a surprise. Her divorce from Keith Urban was announced a few weeks ago, and Nicole hasn’t been seen much in public since. However, she and her daughter, Sunday Rose, were spotted at Sabrina’s gig on Wednesday (5 November).
The Espresso singer noticed Nicole in the crowd and decided to single her out for a fun moment, where she would ‘arrest’ the actress for “being too hot”.

“We come to this Nashville arena for magic. And speaking of magic…” Sabrina said, as a police siren blared out and Practical Magic star Nicole appeared on the screens around the stadium.
Nicole could be seen in the front row of the crowd, wearing a red T-shirt and blowing a kiss to the singer. Underneath the live feed, the screen read: “Arrested for being too hot”.
Sabrina then asked the actress where she was from and she said, “Nashville”, but added that she is originally from Australia. Sabrina joked she would move to Nashville for Nicole and dedicated her song Juno to her.
Later, Nicole shared the footage of her ‘arrest’ to social media and thanked Sabrina for the stunt. “Thank you Sabrina Carpenter for arresting me,” she said. “Call me when you move to Nashville.”
The moment was also recorded by Sunday Rose, who shared a video of her mother being ‘arrested’ with pink fluffy handcuffs to Instagram, with the captions: “Someone’s in trouble”. She also shared a message Nicole was able to send her, warning her daughter of the imminent ‘arrest’. It read: “Hi Baby, I’m heading down to be arrested.x”
This is part of a regular skit that Sabrina does at her concerts. She has previously ‘arrested’ Anne Hathaway, Gigi Hadid and Margaret Qualley, as well as a variety of fans.
Nicole’s appearance with Sunday Rose was a rare outing for the star, as she has not been seen much since her divorce was announced. It was revealed earlier this year that Nicole and Keith filed for divorce on 30 September, citing “irreconcilable differences”. The two had been married for close to 20 years and shared two daughters together – Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
During the divorce, Nicole has been said to be focusing on “creating new traditions with her daughters and keeping their home life as steady and loving as possible”.
A source told Us Weekly that “the hardest part is navigating the dynamic with their daughters”. They added: “The last thing Nicole wanted was a broken family.”

In their custody arrangement, Nicole will be the primary parent and look after their teenage daughters for 306 days of the year, while Keith will have them for 59.

When the time finally comes for Taylor and Travis to say “I do”, a host of famous friends will be keen to witness the emotional moment. “They transcend two industries, so everyone’s going to want a wedding invite,” says PR expert Lynn Carratt. “However, they might choose to have a small, intimate ceremony for family and close friends, and then a massive party for everyone else. That would make sense, because they know so many people between them.”
On Taylor’s side, A-listers like Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne and the Haim sisters can surely expect invites, as can Selena Gomez – who recently got married herself. When the actress announced on Instagram she was engaged to Benny Blanco last December, Taylor wrote on her post, “Yes I will be the flower girl.” Singers Sabrina Carpenter and Gracie Abrams are also part of Taylor’s squad, after both supported her on her Eras Tour. Upon hearing she was engaged, Gracie paused a concert in Mexico to offer her congratulations, before performing their 2024 track Us and urging the crowd to sing Taylor’s parts.

Sabrina was a diehard Swiftie even as a child, and the pair are now said to have a sisterly relationship, with Taylor once calling her “sweet angel princess”. And when her role in the Eras shows concluded, Sabrina wrote an Instagram tribute to her mentor, saying, “I love you with all my heart and I will cherish this Taybrina era (and all the eras) until the end of time.” As further evidence of their bond, Sabrina is also the only featured artist on Taylor’s new album, appearing on the title track The Life Of A Showgirl.
Actress Emma Stone is another wing woman, and Taylor’s song When Emma Falls I n Love is thought to be about her. They met at an awards show in 2008, and Emma is such a fan of her music that she attended three of her Eras shows. Other good friends include Florence Welch, who collaborated with Taylor on the 2024 track Florida!!! , as well as Zoë Kravitz – recently said to be dating Taylor’s ex, Harry Styles. Zoë also stayed at Taylor’s house during the LA wildfires and was one of the lucky few who got to hear The Life Of A Showgirl prior to its release.
Tay-Tay has called Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman one of her “best friends on the planet” too, after they first met when she auditioned for the 2012 film Les Misérables. In recent months, NFL fan Hugh has often been seen in the VIP box with Taylor at Kansas City Chiefs games. Ashley Avignone is another of Taylor’s BFFs who could secure a coveted bridesmaid spot. They have been inseparable for years, and stylist and designer Ashley has been Taylor’s date at two Super Bowls so far. On the singer’s 30th birthday in 2019, she wrote on Insta, “30 years of life for you, 11 years of friendship for us. Thanks for being the bestest friend, listener, dance party-starter, storyteller, haircut enthusiast, with the biggest, warmest and most generous heart.” Back in 2021, Taylor was also a bridesmaid for actress Lena Dunham when she wed musician Luis Felber, so she could be keen to return the favour.
On the groom’s side, Travis’s besties include Aric Jones, a lifelong pal he met aged five, as well as former teammate Ross Travis and his private chef Kumar Ferguson. Closer to home, Travis has a strong bond with Jason and sister-in-law Kylie – who both have a firm rapport with Taylor, too. Others sure to be on the all-important guest list include Travis’s Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany, who has often been spotted with Taylor at games. On hearing of the couple’s engagement news, Brittany wrote on Instagram, “Two of the most genuine people meet and fall in love. Just so happy for these two.” Taylor also joined Brittany’s 30th birthday celebrations in Nashville in September.
However, a major question mark hangs over the likelihood of Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds being part of proceedings. Taylor became bosom buddies with Blake after first meeting her over a decade ago. As godmother to three of the couple’s four children, Taylor has referenced the youngsters in songs like Betty and August from her 2020 Folklore album. Blake also directed the video for Taylor’s 2021 song I Bet You Think About Me , and the two couples have socialised together on countless occasions.
More recently, the friendship is said to have soured over Blake’s long-running legal saga with Justin Baldoni, her It Ends W th U s co-star. Last December, Blake filed a legal complaint against the actor, accusing him of sexual harassment and starting a smear campaign against her. He strongly denied the claims and filed a counter-lawsuit, which was dismissed by a judge in June.
But when Taylor’s name was linked to the case because of reported text messages with Blake, she was said to be furious, leading to a rumoured falling-out. The song Cancelled! on her new album is said to be about the rift, while many noted that Blake did not congratulate Taylor on the news of her engagement. Travis reportedly then unfollowed Ryan on Instagram.
Although many fans are hopeful of a reconciliation, one former pal who remains out of favour with Taylor is Kim Kardashian. Their long‐standing rift traces back to 2016, after the reality star released a phone recording that made it look like Taylor had approved Kanye West ’s controversial lyric, “I made that b*tch famous.”
Taylor adamantly denied it, saying in a statement, “You cannot approve a song you haven’t heard.” She also called it a “character assassination”, and in a 2023 interview said the whole incident “took me down psychologically to a place I’ve never been before”. She added, “I moved to a foreign country. I didn’t leave a rental house for a year. I was afraid to get on phone calls. I pushed away most people in my life because I didn’t trust anyone anymore. I went down really, really hard.”

In 2024, her song thanK you aIMee was widely interpreted as a retaliation, with the capital letters in the title spelling out K-I-M and the lyrics exploring themes of bullying. With that in mind, it certainly seems that Taylor and Travis’s nuptials will be a Kardashian-free zone.
Roman Kemp, who is appearing on Celebrity Race Across the World with his sister Harleymoon Kemp, has opened up about seeing their mum, Shirlie Kemp, crying nonstop

The One Show presenter Roman Kemp grew up in the spotlight and it wasn’t long before he witnessed the devastating pitfalls of fame after seeing his pop star mum, Shirlie Kemp, sobbing for days.
Just months before taking on Celebrity Race Across the World 2025 with his older sister Harleymoon Kemp, 36, which will see the sibling duo competing with other stars as they race 5,900km across central America on just £30 each a day, Roman, 32, opened up about the struggle he remembers most vividly from his childhood.
In a conversation with singer Tom Grennan on their You About? podcast, Roman shared memories of him and Harleymoon featuring in national magazines alongside their famous parents during a period when finances were tight for the family.
Shirlie and husband Martin Kemp, who was a member of the band Spandau Ballet before starring as Steve Owen in BBC soap EastEnders, were struggling with money due to the musician’s health battles in the nineties.
Martin was diagnosed with two brain tumours and had to undergo surgery to get them removed.
“My parents had no money at the time because my dad had all these operations and s*** for his brain, so, like, they were trying to get more money,” Roman explained to podcast co-host Tom.
He went on to admit that even though they had appeared on magazines as a family, Martin and Shirlie were still anxious about their children being snapped by paparazzi on holiday.
Roman continued: “But then, even up to when I was maybe 13, if we’d gone on holiday, we were never allowed to go to the beach because when we went on the beach, my mum and dad would always be like, ‘there it is’ and you’d see a boat come past, quite far out, and then, like, stop, and there would just be a long lens camera just taking pictures of kids on beaches.”
Roman heartbreakingly revealed his mum would often be left in tears after seeing pictures the paparazzi had taken of them appearing in the press.
He shared: “It’s mad in that sense, you see it less and less now, like those old celebrity pictures on the beach, you see that a lot less now.
“But at the time, my whole life, me growing up, was my mum crying because they’re taking horrendous pictures and they’d only use the worst picture.”
Reflecting on a specific traumatic moment following a holiday, Roman said Shirlie “cried for, like, five days” when photos of the family on a banana boat were published in the press.
Ahead of Celebrity Race Across the World airing on Thursday night, Harleymoon explained she was previously given the chance to go on the BBC show with her mum, but Shirlie had concerns, so the pair missed out.
Harleymoon told the Radio Times: “My mum was asked to be in the first Celebrity Race Across the World and was going to take me, but thought it sounded too hard. I was glad to have another chance to go.”
Sharing his own motivations to sign up to the series, Roman, who has been open about his struggles with anxiety and depression, said: “I came off all medication [antidepressants] over a year ago and the race was a good test for my anxiety.

“It’s probably the best thing I’ve ever done on television, but doing the race itself was hell! I used to watch it and wonder why a contestant was crying – well, that was me.”
