Four months after his high-profile breakup from Zara McDermott, Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson is stepping back into the dating world – and he’s doing it with newfound self-confidence and some help from his best friend Pete Wicks.

Sam, 32, revealed that despite feeling “absolutely terrified,” he is slowly finding his groove again after appearing on the popular podcast Staying Relevant. He revealed that he had recently enjoyed his first date since splitting from Zara, 28, and that he had recently enjoyed his first date since then.

Sam acknowledged the emotional strain of his breakup, “I feel like I’m ready to get out there.” “I’ve gone through a lot of it, but I finally feel good, really good, and comfortable in my own skin,” he said.

A hilarious play-by-play of the pre-date panic was provided for podcast listeners of the duo’s podcast. He began, “I went on a date recently.” I actually messaged Pete because I was so anxious. He gave me this sweet piece of advice.

Pete was Sam’s unofficial dating coach from where to stand. I called him and inquired, “Do I need to wait outside or inside?” and he says, “You’re overthinking it, mate,”

“Go in, order a drink, chill, and don’t be the weirdo loitering on the sidewalk.” “Pete even suggested texting the mysterious woman to ask what beverage she wanted so that it would be waiting when she arrived.

Sam grinned and said, “That’s such a good idea! ” When she enters, Petere responded, “Show her how stunning she is.” A happy date is possible. Eye contact, but not as a serial killer. “

Pete received a brief call after the date. He proudly said, “I could tell you nailed it,” before gushing to Sam about his nervousness about starting a relationship. Sam politely responded, “Yesterday. However, once you pass that initial hurdle, when you realize she hasn’t recoiled in horror, things actually get fun.

He also admitted to having a few stress-related thoughts, such as whether to wait outside or open her taxi door. I was planning to give her a hug right away. He laughed, “I had no idea what I was doing.” However, Pete provided a solid strategy for me.

I was on the phone to our producer right before she entered, and I was there when I unintentionally blurted that out while she was on the call and she recognized me.

Pete once said, “F***ing hell,” in a humorous way. I still think she enjoyed it. Sam is currently dating someone. Why has he been dressing so well lately?

Sam also addressed the self-esteem dip he experienced following a breakup in an interview about his appearance. He said, “I’m aware that I looked like s**t,” to put it simply. I’ve watched the videos. You’ve really let yourself go, Mate, I tell myself. The situation has changed, though. I’m now feeling genuinely happy and confident once more.

That newfound confidence may have something to do with Love Island alum Samie Elishi. Over the Easter weekend, Sam was spotted enjoying the sunshine and some quality time with Samie at the King’s Road Fine Food Market. According to sources, sparks are flying between the pair and it’s likely that Sam’s first date was with the brunette beauty who appeared on Love Island All Stars earlier this year.

The pair reportedly started chatting via Instagram after Sam’s split from Zara, and their connection deepened quickly. “They really like each other,” a source close to the couple shared. “Sam wasn’t trying to hide it and introduced Samie to Chelsea – that says a lot.”

Their romantic outing comes as Zara continues to make headlines for moving on with former One Direction member Louis Tomlinson.

Last week, McVitie’s dazzled Londoners with a spectacular light show projecting images of the beloved biscuits onto the city’s iconic landmarks, all in honour of it’s 100th anniversary celebrations.

This weekend the centenary celebrations continue with the exclusive pop-up event right in the heart of London at Piccadilly Circus. It’s open to the public for free but for one weekend only, so if you want to visit you’ll need to clear your calendar.

At the centre of this unique experience is the Biscuit Bar, where visitors can indulge in never-before-seen treats crafted from a variety of Digestives.

The menu is a treasure trove of bold and surprising flavour pairings, masterminded by Robert Craggs, the Michelin-trained head development chef at McVitie’s.

Among the innovative offerings are the ‘Hot Pink’ biscuit, blending White Chocolate Digestives with wasabi, raspberry, and white chocolate, and the ‘Loaded Gold’ biscuit, adorned with hazelnut praline and salted caramel.

For those looking to add a personal touch, there’s also a station where Digestive devotees can create their own customised chocolatey delights with a selection of toppings.

Speaking about the milestone, Benazir Barlet-Bartada from McVitie’s shared: “This 100th anniversary is not just about a biscuit. t’s a national celebration of every biscuit break, every conversation, and every cherished moment we’ve all shared with Chocolate Digestives over the last century.”

All of these are available to win as part of the ‘spin and win’ taking place as part of the event.

But if that wasn’t enough, there is also a collection of art pieces inspired by – and even made from – the tea-break staple.

Commissioned mosaic maestro Ed Chapman spent over 180 painstaking hours, using more than 1,000 McVitie’s Digestives – Milk, Dark, Gold, and White varieties – to meticulously piece together portraits of British legends including David Bowie, Sir Trevor McDonald, and Dame Judi Dench.

There’s also a unique work showing 25 of the greatest moments from the last 100 years, each depicted on individual Chocolate Digestives, brought to life on a biscuit using a delicate airbrushing technique.

Benazir Barlet-Bartada expressed excitement saying: “We’re thrilled to offer our loyal fans this incredible experience as a way to say thank you for the unwavering support over the last century – here’s to the next 100.”

Biscuit buffs can hit up the McVitie’s Chocolate Digestives Experience without spending a penny.

One piece of advice from Sir David Attenborough for those looking to reconnect with nature may be beneficial for your health. In a 10-minute episode of Call of the Wild, the 98-year-old naturalist shared his wisdom.

“Sit down. Don’t move,” he told podcast host Cel Spellman in 2021. “Keep quiet. Wait ten minutes. You’ll be very surprised if something pretty interesting didn’t happen.

If you haven’t done it, it’s extraordinary to do it in a forest. Don’t be too patient either. Although Attenborough’s trick may seem too simple, recent research supports its claim.

This includes a 2020 study from Cornell University, which found that students who spent as little as 10 minutes in the natural world daily were less affected by physical and mental stress. In turn, ‘nature therapy’ is being increasingly praised as an alternative tool to help prevent anxiety, depression and other mental health issues.

We’re talking 10 minutes outside in a space with nature, according to Associate Professor Gen Meredith at the time; it doesn’t take long for the benefits to start to manifest. Every student, regardless of their subject or level of workload, has that much discretionary time each day, or at least once a week, in our opinion.

She then continued, “This is an opportunity to challenge our perceptions of what nature can be.” Trees, a planter with flowers, a grassy quad or a wooded area are really all that we have around us.

Reducing stress not only improves an individual’s mental health but is also associated with lowered blood pressure, better sleep quality, and a bolstered immune system. According to Professor Heather Eliassen of Harvard University, this can potentially slash the risk of chronic diseases like diabetes and heart disease, too.

The British Heart Foundation estimates that one life every three minutes is lost in the UK due to heart and circulatory diseases, which accounts for a quarter of all deaths. According to Professor Eliassen, “Research is also accumulating that green space exposure is associated with lower overall mortality.”

She then continued, “With more exposure to green space, both children and adults, have better mental health and lower risk of psychiatric disorders.

Attenborough has significantly reduced his red meat consumption over the years and maintains a predominantly plant-based diet in addition to his 10-minute wellness routine.

His efforts coincide with growing scientific concern about the link between consuming red meat and serious health conditions. He stated in a 2017 interview with The Sun, “I have undoubtedly changed my diet. Not particularly dramatic. However, I don’t believe I’ve had red meat in a while.

David Attenborough’s heartbreaking end of life message in full as he makes emotional plea

David Attenborough has entertained and informed fans for over 70 years, but he has made a sharp admission as he approaches his 99th birthday.

David Attenborough made an emotional plea with the world as he admits he is nearing the end of his life. The wildlife expert has thrilled nature lovers for seven decades as he captured the essence of every corner of the globe.

However, the legendary broadcaster made a stern statement at the age of 98. As he admitted that he is “approaching the end of his life,” and opened up about his mortality as he waited to celebrate his 99th birthday on May 1, he made the heartbreaking confession.

In his new feature, Ocean with David Attenborough, he made an admission. He said: “When I first saw the sea as a young boy, it was thought of as a vast wilderness to be tamed and mastered for the benefit of humanity.

We are aware that the opposite is true as I near the end of my life. I now understand that the most significant location on Earth is at sea, not on land, after nearly a hundred years of living here.

“Today, it is in such poor health I would find it hard not to lose hope were it not for the most remarkable discovery of all. If we save the sea, we save our world. After a lifetime of filming our planet, I’m sure nothing is more important.”

The great age of ocean discovery has also occurred in my lifetime, he continued. Scientists and explorers have discovered remarkable new species, epic migrations, and dazzling, complex ecosystems that were previously unimaginable for a young man over the course of the last hundred years.

We discuss some of those wonderful discoveries, explain why our ocean is in such poor health, and, most importantly, demonstrate how to restore health to the ocean. The moment might be different at this.

“On paper, nearly every nation on Earth has agreed to do the bare minimum and protect a third of the ocean.” We now have to work together to make it happen.

Sir David has been fascinated by nature since ever since childhood. He studied natural sciences at Cambridge University before later joining the BBC.

1954 saw his first TV performance. Initial impressions had been made that he couldn’t be a presenter because his teeth were “too big.”

His work is unmatched, though. He has now, however, sadly stated to his fans that he doesn’t anticipate living too long.

Sir David has long focused on the issues that the environment faces around the world through his documentaries. He has also contributed significantly to the development of initiatives aimed at preserving endangered species.
